Alma Madrigal did not like that cat that followed her youngest grandchildren around. Black cats were bad luck and that thing had some strange marking on its head like the one Antonio and Mirabel were born with.

"Get rid of that thing." Alma said glaring at the cat as she walked into the kitchen.

"Thing? Oh the vase?" Mirabel asked and she was already reaching to pick it up.

"I mean the furball. It shredded some of my shoes." Alma said glaring harder and Mirabel frowned heavily and gave the damned demon cat chin scratches.

"I don't see how she could have. Luna is a good girl, too much of a refined lady to do something like that. Besides she's been with me and Antonio ever since we woke up." Mirabel said and the cat was giving Alma a smug face. She just knew it was.

Luna purred a bit at the scratches and rubbed her head against her princess's cheek. While she was petty as hell and more than happy to get some payback on the old woman she actually didn't do it this time.

Artemis decided to bring their daughter to visit and let her use her claws for some fun that she wouldn't get in trouble for.

Luna was a very proud mama mau as Antonio giggled and softly pet Diana.

Disney Modern Au prompt:

Based on the Princess Diana interview in 1995, Mirabel and Bruno was interviewed by Mr. Kermit Frog on live television about their past relationship with their ex-family, including child abuse/neglect, manipulative and suffered mistreatment from them. Even Julieta and Augustine, Antoino, Dolores, Camilo and Luisa also spoke out against their family. Julieta felt like she’s being controlled by her own mother by obeying her. Antoino spoke how Mirabel was forced to be his nanny/babysitter since he was a baby and Luisa talked about how overwhelmed she was when she had to do some heavy chores around the house after work. Camilo also exposed his mom and grandma when they asked him to not make jokes about them which was the result of his comedy show being canceled due to low audiences rate but Mirabel did reach out if he would like to be a model of her clothing line in which he accepted.

After the interview, it became number 1 trendy on Twitter and a national topic around the world. To add even more insult, Bruno even published a book exposing his ex-family toxic household environment. The Madrigal (but mostly Alma, Pepa, and Isabela) were immediately pariahs in town and the people stopped talking to them. Pepa and Isabela were fired from their job by their boss after the interview was aired and nobody wants a bully to work for them. Alma, Pepa and Isabela did their own interview and act like they are “deeply sorry” for what they caused and admit of the abuse and mistreatment and wish they could “rekindle” their relationship and hope they forgive them but their interview ends up in a disaster. On the day their interview airs, Mirabel and Bruno (along with Augustine and Juileta, Antonio, Luisa, Dolores, and Camilo) attend the formal celebration to celebrate Mirabel successful business with the two wearing gorgeous black attire which the media dub the uncle and niece’s outfit as “The Revenge looks”.

Tho I think it would only be Bruno who would expose his mother's and sister's behavior and how they treated him and Mirabel, or at least drag them to court from across the country if they decided to contact him or Mira.

Mira would stand up to them someday, just not on TV.

as for the others:

Isabela would stay with the family, especially for her Abuela and favorite Tía. Tho that didn't mean that Isa would never change her crappy behavior and redeem herself😄 (thank you, Anastasia!).

Luisa would probably move out of Bogotá, considering taking a small vacation to Greece, maybe even moving there. She always wanted to see the beauty of that country. And it wasn't like Luisa wouldn't have contact with Mirabel and Antonio. She could always talk to them!

Julieta would probably stay as well, only because her mother, her sister and her family, and oldest daughter were still in Bogotá with her. Yes, her husband was working in the US, and she deeply missed her brother and youngest daughter, but Julieta hated seeing the family split apart...

Dolores would definitely stay with the family, especially with her parents, older prima and younger brother. She was close to them, and didn't want her and Mariano's children deprived of grandparents and their Tío. Besides, she had a great job and amazing friends. She didn't want to give that up.

Camilo would also stay. He loved his family, and didn't want to leave them, especially his mamá and papá. Though Camilo did miss Antonio and Mirabel...

Antonio however, would leave. He'd head to Cali with Cecilia, even considering moving to another country in Latin-America after graduating college. After everything he remembered, and after Mirabel told him about how his Mamá and Abuela forced her to be his nanny since she was 10, Antonio wanted to move away from his parents, wanting nothing to do with them. He needed to be away from the family and them constantly pressuring him anyways, a breath of fresh air.

❥ 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅

"READY?"

Camilo watched Eliana jolt at the sudden intrusion and chuckled. Even after all this time, she would still give herself some pep talks whenever she was alone, or at least, whenever she thought she was alone—Camilo would always, somehow be there by the doorway sometime in the middle of her monologue.

Can he blame her though? What used to be a short show for the kids was now a full-blown performance, complete with a wooden stage and different acts.

After Camilo became Eliana's bodyguard, the other Madrigals soon joined in her show in one way or another: Luisa, with Enrico, Félix and Camilo's help, made a fold-able stage for Eliana in the plaza. Isabela happily dotted the stage with many colored plants to attract more kids while Mirabel, with Dolores's assistance, enjoyed designing and making costumes for the performers: Carmen, Bruno and his rats, Antonio and his animals (the kids loved cuddling with a nonchalant Chispi while watching Parce jump through hoops or over long distances), and of course, Eliana herself, the main act and reason for the show. Even Camilo had a costume for whenever Eliana needed an undercover assistant for a magic trick such as the disappearance of an object and its reappearance beside someone from the audience.

Eliana checked herself one last time before turning to look at Camilo. "What do you think?"

He watched as she gave him a small twirl, his chest fluttering at how pretty she looked in her red and black dress. 

- I imagined Eliana wearing this but with a collar and short sleeves because they're a religious country and usually dress conservatively.

He blinked at her and frantically tried to find his voice. "You- uh... you look... nice... But not as nice as me!" He quickly added, posing dramatically in front of her.

Eliana chuckled, releasing some of the tension from her shoulders. "Thank you."

He smiled back at her, proud he got to help her relax. "No problemo! Always glad to be of service to a pretty lady like yourself." He bowed, completely missing Eliana blush as red as her dress.

A round of applause of childish screams of approval rose, signaling the end of Bruno's rat novella.

"I-I'll be going then..." Eliana broke the silence. "I'll see you in the crowd?"

The other nodded. "Good luck."

As promised, Camilo watched her show, his eyes never leaving her even though everyone's attention was already on the bird in her hand.

"Nice view huh?" Mirabel's voice snapped him out of his trance and he turned to see Dolores and the rest of his primas coming to sit by him in the back.

He shrugged, "Yeah. The show's great. Though I'm gonna ask Eliana how she got the bird out without it becoming fried chicken later." He was talking about her trick of burning flash paper to create a quick and large flash of fire, then the next thing the audience saw was a pure-white dove sitting on the hand she held the burning paper with. 

"Not the show, doofus!" Mirabel deadpanned while Isabela made him face Eliana again.

Camilo suddenly blushed. Hard. And shook his face to free himself from Isa's death grip. "W-what? Nooo!" But the dark blush on his face said otherwise.

The others looked at him in surprise. This was a first.

They had been teasing him about Eliana for the past weeks but never once did Camilo let their jeering get to him. Or at least, he didn't show it. But now he seemed to light up as red as Rudolph's nose with his blush.

The group gave each other proud grins. "You got it bad~" Mirabel nudged him on the side.

Camilo was about to retaliate when Mirabel pointed at her stomach. "I have a baby~!!"

He groaned and looked back at the stage in an attempt to ignore their teasing and Isabela's "Camilo and Eliana k-i-s-s-i-n-g" song.

For some reason, he found himself staring at Eliana like she was the only person in the world yet again and sighed.

As if she could feel his gaze, she turned, finally spotting him and the women beside him. A small smile graced her features as she waved at the group.

Camilo practically fumbled to wave back while smiling a bit too widely. He looked down at his hand, his heart thumping loudly. What's happening to me?
