A New Business Model: Shredding and Composting
Shredded paper trucks are a common sight, their contents destined for landfills or incineration. However, a more sustainable and secure solution is emerging: worm farming.
By incorporating worm farming into their operations, shredding companies can reduce their environmental impact, enhance security, and potentially generate additional revenue.
Environmental Benefits: • Reduced Waste: Worm farms can significantly reduce the amount of paper waste sent to landfills. • Soil Enrichment: Worm compost, a by-product of the process, can be used to fertilize gardens and farms. • Carbon Sequestration: Worm farming can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by sequestering carbon in the soil.
Security Benefits: • Complete Destruction: Worms consume paper, ensuring that sensitive information is completely destroyed. • Reduced Risk of Data Breaches: By controlling the entire disposal process, shredding companies can minimise the risk of unauthorised access to confidential documents.
Financial Benefits: • Reduced Disposal Costs: Worm farming can reduce the costs associated with traditional disposal methods, such as landfill fees and transportation costs. • Potential Revenue Streams: Worm compost can be sold to gardeners, farmers, and other businesses.
By embracing sustainable practices and innovative technologies, shredded paper truck companies can position themselves as leaders in the industry, providing environmentally friendly and secure document disposal services.

seriously though the history of convict labour in australia is weird. some of these guys almost immediately were pardoned and allowed to open small businesses, some were indebted servants to governors and administrators, or on farms or even to individual free settlers, and some were engaged in the most horrific backbreaking labour dying horribly or slaving away for years or even decades in inhuman conditions!
and almost all of them were deported to australia for vagrancy, petty theft, or minor debts

Worm Farming: A Sustainable Solution For Sensitive Document Disposal
In the digital age of today, the disposal of sensitive documents remains a critical concern for businesses of all sizes. Traditional methods, such as shredding and incineration, can be costly and environmentally harmful. As a more sustainable and secure alternative, worm farming offers a unique solution.
The Worm Farm Solution Worm farms provide a natural and efficient way to dispose of sensitive documents. By feeding shredded paper to worms, businesses can ensure that confidential information is completely destroyed. The worms consume the paper, breaking it down into compost, a valuable organic fertilizer.
Environmental Benefits of Worm Farming: • Reduced Waste: Worm farms divert paper waste from landfills, reducing the environmental impact of disposal. • Soil Enrichment: Worm compost, or vermicompost, is a nutrient-rich soil amendment that improves soil health and plant growth. • Carbon Sequestration: Worm farming can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by sequestering carbon in the soil.
Security and Privacy: • Complete Destruction: Worms consume the paper, making it impossible to reconstruct sensitive information. • Controlled Environment: Worm farms can be kept in secure locations, further protecting sensitive documents. • Reduced Risk of Data Breaches: By eliminating the need for external disposal services, businesses can reduce the risk of data breaches.
By adopting worm farming as a method of document disposal, businesses can not only protect sensitive information, but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
Here are a few industry-specific examples of how worm farming could be implemented for secure document disposal:
Healthcare: • Medical Records: Shredded medical records, including patient information, diagnoses, and treatment plans, can be safely disposed of using worm farming. • Research Papers: Confidential research papers and data can be shredded and composted.
Legal: • Client Files: Sensitive legal documents, such as contracts, wills, and financial records, can be securely destroyed. • Court Records: Confidential court documents can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Finance: • Financial Statements: Shredded financial statements, tax returns, and other sensitive documents can be composted. • Bank Records: Confidential bank records, such as account statements and transaction histories, can be securely destroyed.
Government: • Classified Documents: Low-level classified documents can be shredded and composted, reducing the risk of information leaks. • Internal Memos: Sensitive internal memos and reports can be disposed of safely and efficiently.
By adopting worm farming as a standard practice, these industries can significantly reduce their environmental impact, while ensuring the security of sensitive information.

Heartbreaking news out of north Gaza today
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We write to inform you that renowned journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul and cameraman Ramy El-Rifi of Al-Jazeera were murdered just a few hours ago by the occupation. They were going out to document the scene of another bombing attack, when they were deliberately targeted by the occupation. Footage provided by journalist Osama Al-Ashi in the immediate aftermath of the attack shows that Ismail and Ramy were murdered with targeted precision weaponry, meaning the occupation watched them, waited for them, and executed them in cold blood (warning: graphic footage).
Ismail and Ramy have been documenting the genocide at immense personal cost since the 7th of October 2023. They were previously kidnapped and tortured by the occupation, but survived and continued to remain in north Gaza and document crimes against humanity. They have had many narrow escapes, and today, the occupation was finally successful in its illegal goal of assassinating these prominent journalists.
When western journalists hand-wave their suppression of the IOF’s atrocities in Gaza by claiming no journalists are “allowed” in to report, remember these men. Remind them of these men. These men who lost friends and loved ones, who suffered immensely, and yet chose to remain and continue documenting the genocide against their people. They join the ranks of more than 150 Gazan journalists who were murdered by the occupation to hide its crimes and retaliate for speaking the truth.
حسبنا الله و نعم الوكيل
أنا لله و أنا اليه رجعون
God suffices us and he is the best disposer of affairs. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
Keep fighting for Gaza. Don’t stop talking about north Gaza.

Jason “drama queen” Todd definitely has numerous ways of fucking with Bruce.
One of those ways is just "dying" in increasingly dramatic ways around the manor just to mess with him.
Bruce will walk into the kitchen to find Jason face-down in a bowl of cereal with blood everywhere, and Alfred standing there completely unfazed.
"Master Jason has 'died' four times this week, sir. I've stopped cleaning up the messes."
Dick thinks it's hilarious and has started rating the performances. Damian offers unsolicited critiques ("Your positioning is unrealistic. The blood splatter pattern suggests you would have fallen backwards, not forwards.")
Tim just steps over Jason's "corpse" in the hallway while typing on his phone, completely desensitized. Once he actually used Jason's "dead body" as a desk to sign documents.
The one time Jason actually gets hurt (falling down the stairs while texting), everyone ignores his genuine groans and calls for help for a solid ten minutes.
"I think my ankle is actually broken this time!"
"6/10. The desperation is convincing but the scenario lacks creativity." Dick calls from another room.
Bruce walks in, sees Jason at the bottom of the stairs, sighs deeply, and walks out.
Cass is the only one who can always tell when Jason is actually hurt. She'll silently appear with a first aid kit when it's real, and with theater makeup when he's faking, to help make the "death" more convincing.
During a charity gala, Jason "assassinated himself" by dramatically stumbling into the ballroom with a realistic plastic arrow through his chest, whispering "Et tu, Bruce?" before collapsing onto the dessert table. Bruce just handed his champagne to a confused socialite and said, "Excuse me, I need to dispose of a body. Again."
When asked why he keeps doing this, Jason just shrugs and says, "Coming back from the dead once was traumatic. Coming back from the dead thirty times in ridiculous ways? That's therapy."
"Plus," he adds, wiping off fake blood, "the look on Bruce's face that time I recreated my actual death scene with a crowbar and mannequin was worth every second in actual therapy I'll need later."

thank you to the anon who requested more of business owner dadkuna, i hope you enjoy reading
the first time it happened, you hesitated.
sitting at your desk, your very serious, adult tax forms spread out before you, you looked at the pen in your hand. a flimsy, pastel-blue plastic thing with a grinning giraffe perched at the end, its tiny, rubber head wobbling dangerously on a spring.
this was not how you had envisioned adulthood.
but the babygirl of the sukuna household had personally handed it to you that morning with the firm instructions of, "this one is for you, mama. use it all the time, okay?" and what kind of monster would you be to say no to that tiny, cherubic face?
so now, here you were, signing government documents with a pen that looked like it belonged in a kindergarten classroom.
but your suffering paled in comparison to that of your husband, sukuna, a man feared in corporate circles, the kind of businessman who could make an entire boardroom sweat just by loosening his tie. a man who had once scoffed at the idea of casual fridays. a man who now signs contracts worth billions of yen with a pen that has a rubber duck on the end.
and it squeaks.
it happens during a high-stakes meeting one day. everyone sits stiffly as sukuna flips through a contract, nods in approval, and then—
click.
squeak.
a single, betrayed silence settles over the room. no one dares move. except for one executive. poor, foolish, disposable jerry from finance. he coughs, tries to suppress a chuckle, and then, before god and witnesses, lets out the tiniest, weakest huff of laughter.
sukuna stills. he lifts his head slowly, eyes dark, unreadable.
"something funny, jerry?"
jerry, who clearly does not value his life, gestures vaguely at the pen. "it’s just… ahem. sir, with all due respect, it’s… a duck."
a beat.
then, in one fluid motion, sukuna lifts the contract and tears it in half.
jerry stops breathing.
the entire room watches in horror as sukuna keeps going, shredding the contract down to absolute confetti, pieces fluttering to the table like the ashes of a fallen empire. then, with a terrifying calm, sukuna turns to his assistant. "cancel the deal."
"…sir?" the assistant squeaks (not the pen. the man).
"we’re not working with people who don’t respect family values."
jerry, wisely, resigns before he can be fired.
sukuna goes home that night, drops onto the couch with a sigh, and pulls his tie loose. you, lounging beside him, glance up from your laptop. "rough day?"
he groans. "some asshole laughed at the pen." you nod sagely. "so you destroyed his career?"
"obviously."
you pat his shoulder. "our daughter would be proud."
at that moment, the babygirl herself waddles into the room, clutching two new pens—one shaped like a bunny, the other a frog. she beams.
"mama! daddy! i got you more!"
sukuna, the most feared businessman in the country, gratefully accepts his new frog pen.

Yandere Story Idea #16:
Yandere Yandere (Fatherly) Emperor and Empress (Maternal) x Daughter! Reader:
Think about it.
I imagine that after a long line of princes, the yandere empress finally has a princess, and both parents are delighted with her, since she was the first daughter after many years of trying. Your father, the emperor, agrees that you be raised under the care of the empress (your mother).
From the moment you were born, you were never left alone for a single minute. When the Empress wasn't with you, the Emperor himself was. Your mother always made you follow her everywhere she went, as well as sharing her tastes and hobbies, since having only had princes prevented her from doing that. You had a close mother-daughter relationship, and with your father it was something more or less similar.
As you grow up, your parents become more overprotective of you, so much so that they even limit your contact with your older brothers, the princes. Not only would they give you nice gifts, but the best teachers, doctors and servants would be at your disposal (even better than those of your older brothers), although your brothers would probably be jealous of you.
They wouldn't let you walk alone for even a second.
If your father has a harem of consorts and concubines (like other emperors), then the empress will be more paranoid about you, since even though princesses do not inherit the throne, she knows that her enemies can harm you.
Once, when you were five years old, a maid broke a porcelain doll that your father had given you after returning from one of his trips. Unfortunately for that maid, the emperor was returning with you just when the doll broke, so he saw it and got SO angry that he asked his butler to take you out to the garden for a walk, so that you wouldn't see your father the emperor whip the poor maid to death. All this because he considered that maid to be reckless in daring to do that to your things, even if it had been an accident.
Even if more princesses were born, you were the object of your parents' overprotection and adoration.
Even your older brothers didn't dare to do anything bad to you. Once a new maid spoke ill of you (even though you hadn't done anything), and the empress herself slapped her in the face.
They hired servants who document your EVERY move.
The Emperor adores you so much that he will delay any kind of engagement or marriage alliance. He will reject any proposal, and silence anyone who mentions the subject. He does not want you away from him.
If it were up to them, you would stay locked in your room all the time so that nothing would hurt you, and they would tell you that they do everything for your own good.
You were punished by being locked up for an indefinite period of time, followed by the classic punishment of writing the same sentence repeatedly for a long time.
No trying to escape from the palace. The emperor would have experienced guards and servants around you to prevent that.
And if you do get married, then your parents will make sure that you have no choice but to live near the palace, no matter what.
They would be capable of killing if something happens to you.
If you fall ill, they will make sure you rest and eat well, even if it is against your will. If you were to die, they would both go mad with grief, especially the empress.
If you were to die, they would use your chambers as a sanctuary to you, where they would go to pray for you, and in the process force EVERYONE to mourn you.
Your emperor father would not let you have any contact with his family, as there is a power struggle going on where even his own brothers, cousins and uncles could be his enemies and would do ANYTHING to get the throne; even if that includes kidnapping or killing you just because you are the emperor's daughter. Your mother would know this, and every time her brothers-in-law come, she will make you stay with her in the central palace.
With the Empress's family it's a different story, since there are no problems of inheritance of the throne, things are easier unless there is someone who tries to hurt you or pressure you like they do with your mother.
-The End.
What do you think?
