Merder on Grey's (he calls her a whore, is an insufferable prick, leads her on and whines, and we're supposed to root for them??). I'm not sure Jaggie's is anyone's OTP, but that too. Also in other fandoms: Harry/Ginny, Draco/Hermione, Buffy/Angel.

I would have been fine if Castle and Beckett had stayed partners/friends, honestly. Also, Troy and Abed from Community could never be romantic in my mind.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

I used to love Jim/Pam from The Office, but the fandom's dislike of Pam and overanalysis of Jim's behavior slowly wore me down.

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

I enjoy Slexie way more in fanfictions than on the show, where they make me went to tear my hair down.

Easy one: Japril would have reunited in season 13 and we wouldn't have the nonsense happening afterwards (though I would have still had Matthew come in season 14, if only to clear the air with April so she could get closure. His wife could stay alive, though.)

I’ve already answered with James and Sirius but Draco and Hermione are also a good answer! I think they’d have this slightly competitive friendship fueled by debates and falling down theoretical rabbit holes together. Also, Hermione is petty and they’d bond over mutually disliking someone. Imagine that as a coworkers scenario!

Draco/Hermione. Sometimes I get the appeal and I love the idea of opposites attract and having someone challenge your ideology and other times I get the ick when I think about in real life parallels of a white supremacist who joined a terrorist white supremacist group and believed that ideology who is now dating a black person. I went a really racist school as a POC. Funny enough, I still like Draco as a character but I don't know why I find harder to enjoy Dramione than Drarry

I like the idea of Dramione. I've tried to read fic for it though and never really connected with their characterisations. I think I would prefer them as a BrOTP. I have scraps of a Draco & Hermione gen piece that I was writing a while back.

100,000% Drarry. I know I've said this before, but like...I'm overly in love with Snarry, so shipping them with other people makes me sad. 🤣 But I can at least feel a spark or a vibe from other ships, such as say Tomarry or Sirry (for Harry), or Snaco or Sneville (for Severus.) There's interest there, and sexiness, and even if it's not romance or longterm, I can envision there being something.

Drarry???? I just don't get it. 😭 0 spark. 0 spice. For me personally. Clearly there are plenty of people who do get those things! Or who don't need those things in a ship, idk. Drarry is huge and ngl I wish I could see it! Especially because Drarry has so many super talented people. 🥺 I admire all the art, and the fics I've read have been so stellar!!!! A+ writing. A+ art. Gorgeous, stunning, amazing. I envy Drarry folks, they have so many goods to enjoy!

Anyway. I can't really ship it romantically. And I can barely see a case for it sexually. 🧐 But platonic???? I LOVE IT. Just like begrudging buddies postwar. Like enemies to lovers only it's rivals to friends. I super dig it. Especially when it's all reluctant. (Like how I like my ships tbh.) Just Harry like helping Draco out postwar cuz he's a good boy, but he's like "I'll help you but I'm not gonna like it." And Draco being all bratty and proud about it all. Or or! Guys, I read such an incredible dramione fanfic by @terrapin8 last night called Wonderwall! It was angsty, slow-burn and gave me so many damn feels that I wanted to cry, shout, and laugh out loud. It had everything I didn't realize I was looking for. The friendship dynamics/drama was spot on and the love triangle between Astoria-Draco-Hermione was so smoothky done I am in awe. Seriously, I have no idea why it's not more popular but I sincerely recommend it. It deserves so much love. Go read it. You won't regret it.

Harry frowned at Hermione. He couldn't have heard what he though he did, but when she turned back towards him and smiled he knew he heard right the first time.

"Yeah! A promposal! It's a thing!" she smiled at him, but it soon turned into a confused look when she saw the frown on his face. "What? Do I have something in my teeth?"

Harry slapped her hand away, which was slowly inching towards her mouth. "No, no. But isn't that a bit... to much?" he asked. The thought of doing such a public proposal, especially knowing that if he ever tried it would immediately get out into the masses, flared the already growing anxiety into a burning crescendo and he could feel his palms start to sweat and his vision swim. "It's just another stupid winter dance, it's not that big. I-I think I'll just stick to asking Draco in our dorm."

He felt Hermione's hands settle on his shoulders, two weights that he used to ground himself back into the present. He saw her brown eyes crinkle at the corners as she smiled at him.

"No worries, Harry. I'll still support you no matter what. And it was just a suggestion anyway," she shrugged.

Harry smiled back at her. "Great. That's all I need."

Hermione hugged him, hidding her grin into his shoulder, Harry doing the same.

"Harry, love, breathe. Five in, hold five, and out seven. Ok?"

Draco's voice sounded as if it was miles away, the anxiety attack that had finally hit a breaking point overwhelming Harry and rendering him mute and barely able to hold himself. Draco was supporting him, his right arms holding him by his waist, and the other one holding Harry's arms, which was slung over the blond's shoulder. Tears were making his vision swim, and he lost his glasses some time during his preparations for the anxiety attack. So he tried to grasp onto Draco's voice and the points where the two were touching, and tried to breathe alongside his lover.

It was hard, as it always was. But after a few minutes, that felt more like hours, he was finally able to control his breathing enough to let out a relieved laugh. He felt all the adrenaline leave his system as a wave of exhaustion washed over him, taking away all the strength he had left and all the relieved joy he felt from finally overcoming this.

The two were back at their shared apartment by that point. Draco was able to carry him all the way there without him even realizing, and he wished in that moment more than ever that he could kiss him right, and show him his gratitude.

But all he did was whine as Draco laid him onto their bed, and grasp onto his pale hand as he tried to get up.

Harry felt his throat close up, but he still found enough determination to let a word out.

"Please."

He heard Draco sigh, and next thing he knew the two were cuddling, his head on the blond's chest and relief cursing through his very being.

"Potter, you're still awake?" he barely heard the blond as he felt his consciousness slowly leave him, but he still nodded in a vain attempt to hear his voice again.

Draco rubbed at his back slowly, a soothing motion. "Alright. Hear my heartbeat? Just focus on that."

He did, in the end. The last thought in his mind being how lucky he was to have him by his side. And then he fell asleep.
