i've been inconsistent on tumblr regarding posting content. last time i posted was before 18th june for the exam. then i ghosted tumblr. well, i started to do extensive skin care and self care, and started to invest more time in my career and earning money through private tuitions, hence rarely got time to post anything. the exam went extremely well and then it got cancelled because i live in 'that' country where everything has been associated with multiple scamming projects for the corporates. the re-examination is on august and idc, i'd give the exam out of spite and get the fuck out of this country.

here's however, a glimpse of my work on a book review. this is where i work, on bed, with huge back pain and posture defect, with minimal food and bad lighting and endless distractions [from books around, also i'm neurodivergent] i've been immersed in coffee, red tea and cigarettes for the past 3 days and still 200 pages back. today is the deadline! and i'll be finishing off this fucking work like my life depends on it [it does, i'm getting paid]. back to work. Xby.

Going to college as a nontraditional student with an office job is kinda funny bc now when a professor messes things up in a way that fucks me over instead of being like "omg this authority figure is so unfair 😭" I'm approaching it more with the vibe of like "if Karen from Accounting doesn't fix this mistake that's hindering my work after my third passive aggressive email I'm going to CC her boss"

22nd April - 22 Days until Finals

I didn't study much on the 21st so u can say studying for almost 5 hrs was some guilt-driven motivation, but it helped :)

I haven't been going out a lot even tho the doc said i must "breath fresh air" everyday. So i played some badminton with my brother yesterday (i was so bad at it) but something's better than nothing.

From tmrw i want to get out consistently atleast once a day /goal 🎯

Stuff i did:

Textbook reading/summarizing

Made flashcards for 1 chp

Revised 1 chp (this was a first bcs i havnt finished half the chps so revision for 1 is great)

23 cards reviewed

I want to keep up with yesterday's flow even today, so manifesting a productive day for me as well as you 💖🫶

Tuesday, Dec. 10th, 2024: I didn't study for Immuno as much as I wanted to, but I still got a 92% on the final so we're good. I think this was my favorite course this semester, just because I loved the professor so much. I'm gonna miss his lecture style. He used to teach Genetics but he doesn't anymore :(

Today's Study: Immunology Slides 171/171 [~1hr] Orgo lectures [2.5hrs and counting] ~3.5hrs total so far ☆⋆｡𖦹°‧★ Today's Final: General Immunology (2pm) Tomorrow's Final: Organic Chemistry I (10am) ☆⋆｡𖦹°‧★ Today's Self-Care: Uhhhhhh doomscrolling unfortunately ☆⋆｡𖦹°‧★ To-Do Tomorrow: 1. Finish orgo lecture stragglers 2. Have a really good cry session after orgo 3. Print labs for microbiology final 4. Study old quizzes for microbiology 5. Get direct deposit for club set up (forgot yesterday)

I can't fail orgo, but I'm for sure getting less than a B, and I'm planning on bombing this final. I'm gonna study hard, but I also would like to be sane. I don't think I could ever study hard enough to get over a 75% on the exam. Anyway my treat for taking my exams is buying a gym membership because I want to learn to run again. I loved running pre-amputation and I have a high-level prosthetic that will let me. Maybe I'll take out extra student loans for the summer to buy a running blade... Ahh bad financial decisions, my beloved.

It's the first week of the new semester at the university, and I'm sick 😷

Updates:

1. I joined a research project about academic social responsibility.

2. I am regularly taking care of my skin and my food intakes are all on time.

3. I'm practising through the second paper of a competitive exam. I still have a lot to read in the first paper.

Exam is on 18th. Wish me luck!
