What if Dick’s hallucinations of Jason got so out of hand that he began to believe that the spirit of his brother was trapped in his coffin and needed to be laid to rest?

So, like, HalluciJason normally just hangs out in the corner of Dick’s eye and occasionally blames Dick for his death. But one day, HalluciJason begins to talk about how he’s trapped. How it’s so dark and it smells like dirt and there’s velvet beneath his fingers and he can’t breathe. At first Dick tells himself to just ignore the hallucination, he’s just crazy. But over time, as HalluciJason starts to venture further and further into Dick’s field of vision, it becomes harder and harder to ignore his pleas. Something about the hallucination becomes more substantial, more real.

Eventually, Dick breaks. He goes to the graveyard where Jason is buried and digs up his grave. Bruce, who has noticed Dick slipping, is horrified when he finds out what Dick is doing and rushes to the graveyard.

He arrives just as Dick finishes digging and Jason bursts out of his coffin. Dick hugs his little brother, covered in dirt and sweat and tears.

After this, everyone believes that Dick was actually having visions and wasn’t going crazy at all. Stranger things have happened—like Jason’s resurrection. He was trapped in his coffin, if only briefly. And if Dick hadn’t been there, Jason would’ve indeed suffocated.

(But two weeks after Jason returns to life, Dick sees him, just in the corner of his eye. A boy dressed in a bloody Robin suit. Jason. Watching, with pale blue eyes.)

You came home as a tiny, crusty, wobbly little ball of lint. Your ears were shut, your eyes had only just opened, and you could only crawl a few feet at a time on your wobbly little paws. Now you are one year older, and in that year, you have brought immeasurable light to my world.

Help AbuShamala Family Survive: Urgent Call from Gaza

I am Mahmoud AbuShammala, 30 years old, residing in Belgium. I am writing to you today to urgently seek your help to save the remaining members of my family in Gaza.

We are a large family consisting of 11 siblings, along with our parents Ahmed and Saada. We lived in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, and had a decent and happy life. Each of us has our own family living in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza. Our lives were stable until the war came at the end of 2023, turning everything upside down

On 13/02/2024, we lost our dear father due to shelling, and my mother could not bear the shock, passing away a few weeks later on 02/03/2024. The tragedy did not stop there; we also lost my sister Huda’s husband, Abdulrahim, due to random shelling. In total, we have lost nearly 50 family members and relatives

Our homes were destroyed completely or partially, and our lives turned into homelessness. We live in tents and overcrowded shelters that are unfit for human life. My family members moved between Khan Younis and Rafah seeking safety, suffering from food shortages, disease outbreaks, and lack of medical care. Children’s lives became at risk, losing their right to education and suffering from lack of care and affection

Any amount can make a significant difference in our family’s life. Help us share our story and raise awareness of our plight. Your words and prayers give us strength and hope to face these harsh conditions. Our hope is great in your compassionate hearts. We invite you to stand with us in this difficult ordeal. Tommy helps the 118 saving Bathena and Buck has a crush™️ and the crush is bigger and bigger BUT Tommy is late for his shift so he never goes to Buck's loft and so no kiss and getting together.

But Tommy is friend with Eddie now and he's also retaking his spot in Chim's life, being invited to his wedding and spending more time with the 118 and Buck hates it but he is also always so eager to see him even though he doesn't understand why.

Turns out his first muay-thai lesson with Eddie and Tommy is an enlightenment, as well as the boner that grows when Tommy pins him on the mat. He blurts an excuse and run away.

His first action when he arrives at his place is opening Google and browsing through substacks and subreddit. After a few hours he decides to write a post titled "how do you know if a boner is caused by celibate and body proximiy or if you are just horny for your hot friend even though you are straight and he's a man?".

The post is soon to be popular, as well as reposted on twitter, Instagram, even facebook, and he panics a little but cannot talk about it to Maddie or Eddie or anyone else. He goes to delete it but his eyes are attracted by one of the new responses.

The reddit user is nice and tries to reassure him. Talks about his own experience with realizing he's gay, and how it was hard for him at first. He tells him about this man he has the biggest crush on even though he is straight, and they bond through pining and shared failures.

It takes Buck a few days before he goes to this user's account, and looks at his other posts to know more about him. The user is a man, he follows a few sports and health subreddits. He is mostly active on movies subreddits though and Buck finds his takes on romcom funny.

The more he looks at this man's publication the more he finds him endearing.

But then.

He discovers that his new friend moderates a subreddit about LAFD air operations in California and his heart stops. His last post is only from a few hours ago and it's a picture of a chopper. Tommy's chopper.

Fuck.
