Intrpio - Intrpio is a type of xive that instead of being based on a source, you are the character or person themself. For example, you're from a Pokemon but you're not an xive of them, you are that Pokemon but you're just now in a different body to the one you originally had. This can apply to those who would be classes as fictives, factives, and any other type of xive.

Reasons Introjects May Split In A System

this list is nonextensive!! there are plenty of reasons introjects might form, these are just some common ones i've noticed

the source (fictional or factional) of the introject is a being that the system found comfort and safety in when going through stress or trauma

the source is a being that the system aspires to be like one day; wise, or strong, or thriving, in some way 'better' than the system feels they are nowe

the source (if factional) is an abuser or person the system dislikes or feels afraid of, and they are split off to punish other parts or keep them in check

the source (if fictional) is a character that abusers or otherwise harmful people like and feel attached to; the system splits them off to try and appease this person and relate to them

the source is someone with similar trauma to the system, so an introject splits to hold that trauma

the source (if factional) is somebody who takes care of and comforts the system in some way; an introject of them is split to be a caretaker or soother type part

the source of the introject is a being with magical feats (magic powers, flight, superstrength, etc), ones that could have protected the system during periods of trauma and stress

the source seems to be an innocent, naive, and happy person; the system splits them as a part to retain feelings of innocence or unawareness about trauma

(if the system experiences hyperfixations / special interests) the source is somebody from a hyperfixation or special interest that the system has, and the introject is split to hold knowledge about this interest

(if the source is a nonhuman being) the system went through trauma that resulted in them feeling subhuman in some way, the introject is split to hold these feelings / trauma

This! It's genuinely mind-boggling how people can have such strong opinions with absolutely zero understanding of anything they're talking about.

I'm gonna dive right into this post, because it's just so terrible!

I'm endogenic. I'm a tulpa. We do not have DID or OSDD or any other dissociative disorder. We have never claimed to.

I believe that DID is almost always caused by trauma. And that more research needs to be done on different presentations of OSDD to determine how strong its association with trauma is.

I can't understand why these facts are so hard for their brains to process.

I'm not a huge fan of insulting people's intelligence but gods, these people just make it really difficult not to.

I'm also not saying that only trauma can cause DID. I think there definitely is a possibility that there could be rare non-traumagenic forms of DID. But being open to this possibility is VERY different from claiming, as the Satanic Temple's Grey Faction has, that DID is typically iatrogenic.

The Grey Faction does not believe DID is caused by trauma.

And this hate subreddit is using them as a source for their anti-RAMCOA rhetoric!

On the topic of gaslighting, Grace is correct that Grace did not say the words "religious alters only existed after Hazbin Hotel." (I didn't say they said those words either.)

what do you think about number names, the use of the term RAMCOA, and bodily white systems using cultural names?

Number names: Not an OEA system so my opinion shouldn't be the first one used but I have seen plenty of OEA systems state they are fine with it and find the argument that others using number names makes it harder for OEA victims to be found and revictimized compelling so I have no personal problem with it.

RAMCOA: The discourse around whether the term should be used in how it is currently done is more harmful than the term being used and causes significant fakeclaiming of OEA survivors. If you are going to promote the stopping of it's usage it's better to do it educationally(and please actually check if your sources connect back to the Grey Faction/FMSF) than by just attacking people using the term. I personally don't care but use OEA instead out of respect(and out of hope to kill the argument, not that I think that it will necessarily work unfortunately) though again not Jewish so I'm not the primary opinion on this.

Cultural names: I do have experience with being raised with another culture with cultural names(not a popular one but still) so I can actually talk on this. I don't care just be respectful of that culture if you do. Of course I'm going to be interested if I see someone with a name that doesn't match where they are from but if they feel it fits and are respectful I do not care. Especially the case if they are an introject that is struggling to separate from source. You should not be forcing someone to separate from source faster to fit what you want them to be doing(including changing their name). This also goes systems of color choosing names from cultures they are not from. You don't get a free pass to disrespect another culture you aren't from just because you aren't white.

I feel like I’m faking being a system so here is a list of things that DO NOT mean someone is faking DID

- Alter counts. Each system has a different split tolerance, meaning how much it takes for them to split. Some systems split at every minor inconvenience, and some only ever split during big traumas. And naturally many people fall in between!

- Introjects or their sources. Introjects are not literal copies of their sources. They are not a fictional or factional character reincarnated. An introject is an alter BASED off of a specific character, real or not, that their brain decided was necessary to have for survival. They have no control over who an alter is introjected from. Many systems have comfort characters due to the safe feeling said character brings them, and some have abusers most likely to cope with the abuse they perpetrate.

- How much they switch. Alters usually switch based on the needs of the system. For example, protectors are known to front when the body may be subjected to pain like physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. Switches can be controlled but they can also be out of control. Controlled switches typically require some therapeutic guidance but again, not impossible without it.

- Their age. DID is a childhood trauma disorder. It solidifies between the ages of 5-9, when the ego states of a child start to integrate into one singular identity. With DID, this does not happen. Meaning symptoms CAN show at a younger age, such as 13-14. That is 4-6+ years after its developed, so it’s not unheard of. DID also gets worse with age if left untreated, which is why some teens go from thinking they are OSDD to realizing it is DID.

These are just some of the most popular things I’ve seen systems being fakeclaimed over, especially with no other evidence. It is a disorder involving the brain, so obviously there will be variations between individuals. The only common traits between systems should be the diagnostic criteria and even that may have small variations.

Our system is polyfragmented, meaning there is a high alter count and 'splits' also known as identity adoption in this context, are very frequent, as we also have a low split tolerance. Due to this many alters may seem to possess a more modern source.

We have been aware, at least through the main host, of the system's wide existence for at least about 5 years, although there are tracks of communication between two specific alters going back as far as 10 years.

There's over 200+ alters in our system overall, with many sidesystems and their own unique factions and innerworld, although not all will be speaking here, not all use social media or find it pleasant.

❧ There is no issue with cursing, where we are from that is not something that is kept from children until a certain age, although you are advised against using vulgar or anatomical expressions in your cursings, as littles may be present and we want to spare them the knowledge to such deep extent.

❧ we plan to make informative posts alongside rants of daily life and incidents, and we have research of multiple years under our belt, yet we always warmly welcome any knowledge that may escaped us, and always ready for a friendly debate about multiple factors regarding the disorder, at least in regards to how we live with it.

❥ at times we may be under the weather, not in a mental state well enough, or in any other reason unable to comply with a desire for a debate who will fully remain objective and friendly spirited, be respectful of that. We are humans just like any other and we at times cannot conform to things, especially if they are not necessities of daily life.

❧ in that note, any sort of hate regarding people of any gender identity, sexual orientation, color of skin or race, heritage, or other means of self identification will not be tolerated, and will be treated with either matching your energy and belittling or dragging your name through the mud, or simply blocking your account for an unlimited period of time. We have alters who treat all sorts of situations in their own unique way, and we strive to make it a safe place for any people who may wander across this page.

❥ Any syscourse regarding endos and other similar topics need to be informed of prior, as we have much to discuss on those topics and therefore would want to know we are able to focus and treat the situation with the necessary politeness and respect.

❧ this should come as surprise to no one and it saddens me a tad to know that it need to be brought up, but please do not treat our alters as their source unless you have their consent to do so. We strive for at least mild level of source detachment, and most alters do not use the same name as they did back then or keep the same hobbies as they did.
