The Number 430
written by Will Schumacher
Strongs H430 = God, “Elohiym”
Its meaning is ruler and judge. It is exclusively used in Genesis 1. God starts off the Bible by declaring He created this world and He is the rightful ruler and judge. He is in charge.
When God makes man in Genesis 2, Strong’s H3068 = LORD (Yahweh) is introduced. Yahweh is God’s personal name and it intimates the relationship aspect of God and His mercy and love in which He relates to us.
I have often thought there is a correlation to Strong’s H430 = God and the 430 years to the exact day of the Exodus:
Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41) And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
There are actually three more 430 year periods specifically mentioned in the Bible that all show the same thing. Here they are:
Genesis 11:17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
Galatians 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
Ezekiel lied on his side for 430 days for the iniquity of the two houses of Israel.
Ezekiel 4:4-7 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity. 5) For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. 6) And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. 7) Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
All four time periods of 430 reflect the meaning of Strong’s H430. God is the creator and therefore lone ruler and judge.
When Moses first meets Pharoah and tells him to let the Israelites go because the Lord God said so, Pharaoh asks the question “who is the Lord that I should obey his voice? Notice Moses says both Strong’s H430 and H3068 (Lord and God) but Pharoah uses just Strong’s H3068. Pharoah does not recognize God as ruler and judge.
Exodus 5:1-2 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.
The Exodus story is about God showing He is the creator, ruler and judge of this world. He is the lone God. He is in charge. Pharoah found out the answer to the question of “who is the Lord that I should obey Him”. Pharoah and his army were judged and God showed His mercy and love to His people and redeemed them.
The time period of 430 is a reflection of God as ruler and judge just as Strong’s H430 implies.
Paul uses the time period of 430 for the giving of the Law:
Galatians 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
God again is the lone authority. He is the creator, ruler, and judge so He alone knows what absolute truth is and He alone distinguishes what is good and what is evil.
The third period of time of 430 is the death of Eber from the birth of Peleg.
Genesis 11:17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
I have posted on Eber and Peleg before. Eber dies at the age of 464. He is tied to the door closing.
Strong’s H5677 = Eber = means “the region beyond”. From Abarim publications: “The important verb עבר ('abar) means to pass or cross over (a river, border, obstacle or terrain). The derived noun עבר ('eber) describes what or where you end up when you do the verb: the other side or region beyond.”
The birth of Eber is a picture of the beginning of our “crossing over”. We are wandering this earth in this thing called life and God is measuring each of us to see if we are His or not. The death of Eber then is a type of the end of our “crossing over” and we are then put into our eternity by God as He judges us.
Eber died at age 464 and this number is tied to the closing of the door.
This is verse 464, a door being shut:
Genesis 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
In this famous Rapture verse of “closing a door”, the word “door” has a gematria of 464:
Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Incredibly both verses about doors closing are tied to Eber’s age of death at 464.
So Eber means the region beyond and his age at death after 430 years is tied to the closing of the door. The door is Jesus. When He returns to gather His own the door is closed and the wrath of God begins. This again refers back to God as the one in charge who is ruler and judge of His creation. In love and mercy He has offered a personal relationship and to those who rejected it will come the wrath of God/plagues of Egypt to let the ungodly know “who is the Lord that I should obey Him”.
The final time period of 430 is the number of days that Ezekiel laid on his side for the number of years of iniquity for the 2 houses of Israel. Ezekiel was prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem. Again this number of 430 is assigned to it to show God as the judge and ruler and He judged His people for their sins.

HOT TAKE
But I like the idea of the phantom world being reincarnated into very unexpected people.
Like I still love the idea of Danny being Martha or Thomas.
Or Dani being another clone, or her being Damian, and Sam being Poison Ivy and or Martha, etc.
But I also like the unhinged nonsense of Sam being a clone in the dc world — ideally Kon, and Dani (or Dan) being Bruce, while Vlad is gasp Thomas Wayne.
HEAR ME OUT
JUST HEAR ME OUT
I just think the idea of Danny finding out that in an alternate world he married a nicer and age appropriate Vlad and had the son the guy has been demanding for so long in their world is hilarious.
The absolute mental breakdown that boy will go through: this is my son, and I love him, look at him go being a hero and kicking ass, but holy fucking Ancients above I fucked VLAD —
And on the other hand, can you imagine Bruce’s reaction? To his alternate mom being a sassy teenage boy, his alternate dad being an older guy ‘preying’ on this kid that absolutely HATES the guy, and being an absolute creep while his alt self **gestures to your choosing** is either a tiny girl menace or the biggest and meanest growling ghost that is BARELY tolerating being in the same space as the living.
But they also hate his alternate dad and would punch him into next week with Mom! Danny.
This man will being going THROUGH IT.

DO NOT BE AFRAID
this is combining Ovid's Heroides and the Excidium Troie because I can't stop thinking of Hermes telling him not to be afraid. what the fuck!! Ares is wearing the crown that Paris gave him.
I have. thoughts. about Paris. he's almost got this Troilos parallel in my mind, that the event that defines him in detail exists in a lost narrative that we don't have (the Cypria), but everyone else knew. the event that defines Troilos is his death (murdered, butchered by Achilles, the violence of which haunts everything after. Achilles, child killer, you can't escape that!), and the event that defines Paris is the Judgement. what's a lost text but a kind of grave!!
idk I don't think that Paris before the Judgement would recognize himself after bc when you become god touched, it rearranges your guts. you become transformed in the worst way possible! how could you recognize yourself! but I also think that all the Parises after the Judgement would recognize each other because that event is so locked into the trauma of war and the scar it leaves on the land, it's like a scar on the narrative too. it exists like this forever, over and over again, so you exist like that forever too. Troy collects grief and despairs.
