Well, for as long as they live that is. so giving life to anything too important like a brain or a heart is not recommended.

Valley

Season of Liars: The dark underbelly of the Valley city has been exposed! Corruption in the sports betting market has been rampant among the youth of Valley. What can you even do at this point?!

Season of Floating: A strange spirit has been trying to conquer the skies by learning how to fly. Yet all their friends use boats.

Season of Prosperity: A bustling center of architecture has burned down. It’s up to four inexperienced designers to re-create it while adding their own touch.

Season of Heights: To the tallest mountain of Valley, four spirits try to mount an expedition. But strange things happen when you’re so close to the stars…

Wasteland

Season of Beneath: “And so, the spirits have made it here. A land that stars never reach. A land that, somehow, is inhabited. Who would willingly reject themselves from the Light while still being part of it?”

Season of Hiding: Those horrific creatures may not be fully conquered, but in a remote outpost, some have talked about change. They believe that by studying their behaviors, they can outsmart the Dark Dragons.

Season of Collapse: A large dock is breaking down due to poor management. Most spirits want to evacuate, but a nostalgic loner believes in something better.

Season of Burning: (my main one): Traumatized by the war, some spirits still believe there’s a battle to fight. What campaigns will they go on? Nobody knows as they go on an adventure of a lifetime.

Season of Desolation: Even in the Golden Wasteland, this dump would never be willingly inhabited… or so, one might think.

Season of Sharing: This tight-knit community sent soldiers to both sides of the war. After both sides lost, their purpose seems unclear, until someone new steps up.

Season of Survival: Rejects from the Forgotten Ark, these gloomy spirits feel like they have nowhere else to go. But once they find a pristine lake filled with wildlife, their attitude start to shift.

Vault:

Season of Relinquish: “What if both the light and dark could be left behind… to forge a new world? Something that truly belongs to us? I have been thinking a lot, in this place beyond order and chaos.”

Season of Stories: Writing is all these spirits want to do. Who can blame them, with that beautiful library of theirs? But with no one to read it, they feel frustrated.

Season of Opening: Trapped in a bunker for the war, these spirits have a warped perception of time. Can you convince them that they now live in an era of peace?

Season of Closing: A sequel to the Season of Opening. After realizing the horrors of the Shattering, the spirits from the bunker go to the Vault Elder to beg for help. But nobody is there.

Profiles in Villainy

Emperor Belos

Philip Wittebane had been a human from the Deadwardian Era who came to the realm of the Boiling Isles in search of his missing brother, Caleb.  He found the Boiling Isles to be an ungodly and sinful place and came to hate the witches who inhabited it.  Seeing himself as trapped and unable to return to the human world, Wittebane decided to seize control of the realm.  

He crafted the guise of a charismatic sage named Belos and somehow managed to impose his will on the land, convincing the residents to adhere to a strict system of covens to restrict the witches' use of magic and knowledge.  Any who resisted were declared ‘wild witches’ and would face terrible punishments. Sometime later he was named emperor of the islands, gaining the respect and devotion of all.  He created a secret order of witch-like beings designed to resemble his lost brother Caleb.  These were called the Golden Guard and they enforced Belos’ laws with brutal efficiency.  

When the young human Luz Noceda happened upon the isles by fate, Belos sought her to claim the portal that brought her to the realm. Although only succeeding in obtaining the fragments of the portal, Belos started reconstructing it in secret and launched his campaign for the so-called ‘Day of Unity’ wherein Belos planned to both return to the human world and destroy the Boiling Isles.  

The scheme was foiled by Luz and her allies and Belos was transformed into a heinous creature by the mystical entity known as The Collector.  Now a monster, Belos attempted to extract revenge on Luz yet was defeated once more and perished in the process.  

Actor Matthew Rhys provided the voice for Emperor Belos with the villain first appearing in the eighteenth episode of the first season of The Owl House, airing on August 22nd, 2020.

whew, this is mostly done, probably! i spent the last four and a half days doing nothing but drawing this map, where my next ttrpg campaign will be set. the triskele is one continent (??? i honestly don't know what to call a collection of islands like this) of the world called the known shores. (yes, i will be drawing the other continents too; yes, i have a problem.)

i stole the names "the ethuveraz" and "barizhan" from the goblin emperor books because the names are dope.

many of the other names are pulled from irish/celtic history and geography.

i drew everything by hand, but i followed a lot of the tutorials located here, which i highly recommend!

WASSERMAN’S HOLLY ROWLAND ON THE RISE OF LOUIS TOMLINSON

"When I say I've booked a 39-date arena tour for Louis, people can't believe it and they can't believe his ticket sales," says Tomlinson's agent

Wasserman Music agent Holly Rowland has spoken to IQ about Louis Tomlinson’s 2023 European arena tour.

The former One Direction star is to embark on a 39-date outing across 28 countries next year, having recently completed a pandemic-delayed tour that spanned 57 dates in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia.

“Louis wanted to go everywhere,” says Rowland, who represents Tomlinson with Wassmerman’s Alex Hardee.

“One Direction never really toured Europe extensively – they did the major cities and the stadiums – but they never went to Eastern Europe for example. During their solo careers, Harry Styles has never done it and Niall Horan has never done it.”

Rowland believes that unlike Styles and Horan, who have also carved out solo careers since the best-selling boyband disbanded in 2016, Tomlinson’s worth is often underestimated.

“When I say I’ve booked a 39-date arena tour for Louis, people can’t believe it,” Rowland tells IQ. “They don’t believe his sales or the fact he has his own festival.”

If Tomlinson was overlooked before, it all looks set to change now. Last Friday (18 November), the star beat Bruce Springsteen to score his first solo UK No. 1 album with ‘Faith In The Future’ via BMG. At the same time, ticket sales for his forthcoming tour are “really strong” despite going on sale a year in advance.

“It will sell out,” says Rowland. “London’s The O2 [cap. 21,000], for example, is on 90% and even markets which are typically late sellers, like Greece, are nearly sold out even though the concerts are still a year away.”

Rowland says it’s thanks to a symbiotic album-tour campaign that Tomlinson’s sales are strong on both the recorded and the live side.

“You wouldn’t typically go on sale with a tour so early but we needed to go out before the album so we could get the pre-orders,” she explains. “Synchronicity with recorded and live has sometimes been missed before but now, more than ever, it’s so important. An artist does well because their whole team is across everything and is communicating with each other.”

Rowland and Tomlinson’s team are particularly proud of the ticket prices for the tour, which start at £27.50 regionally.

“He’s a man of the people,” she says. “For example, he won’t do any golden circles or platinum or flexible ticketing or increased isle seating or paid meet-and-greets. That’s his philosophy.

“The issue nowadays is costs are going up so you have to cover your base but also keep it fair for the customer. The promoters crunched the numbers on their side and there was a lot of back and forth on the ticket price but obviously, the tour is spread across multiple dates so that helps. Plus it’s something Louis really wants to do.”

Promoters working on Tomlinson’s forthcoming tour include Live Nation (Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria), 8 Days a Week (Baltics), Pop Farm (Greece), Follow The Step (Poland), Charmenko (Romania), Fource Entertainment (Czech Republic) and SJM (UK).

The Faith In The Future 2023 outing is the follow-up to Tomlinson’s first world tour, which concluded in September, having been pushed back due to the pandemic.

Highlights from the tour include South America – “one of Louis’s biggest markets” – which saw the star sell 30,000 tickets in Brazil, 30,000 in Buenos Aires and 21,000 in Mexico.

Rowland also notes an open-air show in Milan, Italy, at the beginning of September, which saw 34,000 tickets fly off the shelf in 48 hours.

2022 also saw the evolution of Tomlinson’s own festival, Away From Home, which launched last year in Crystal Palace Park, London, and was free to attend.

This year the event moved to Malaga in Spain and featured The Vaccines, Sun Room, Stone and Hinds, all of whom performed alongside Tomlinson. This time around the event was ticked and Rowland says it sold 15,500 tickets in two days.

“I programmed it [alongside Louis] so it was quite fun to be on the other side of things, being the promoter and offering out supports to agents,” says Rowland.

Launching a festival was the natural progression for Tomlinson, who is known to hand-pick his own tour supports – many of whom go on to see great success, according to Rowland and Hardee.

“His fanbase is so loyal and they hang on every word he says,” says Rowland. “He’ll go onstage after the support acts and say ‘How amazing were they, go out and follow them,’ and that’s what his fans do because they really believe in him and trust him.”

Rowland notes that Tomlinson’s fanbase is surprisingly young – between 14–18 years old – which translates into strong merchandise sales, thanks to the parent pound.

“What’s crazy is that his fanbase is so young, they weren’t even around when One Direction were having their heyday. They must’ve found the band through siblings or something…” she notes.

When asked if it has been difficult to extricate Tomlinson from his previous work in One Direction, Rowland says: “He can’t hide from his past – One Direction were one of the biggest boybands of all time – but we need to respect his path and see him for the artist he wants to be and not who he was.

And as for comparisons to his former bandmates’ solo careers, she adds: “Harry is pop, Niall is more singer-songwriter and Louis is indie. That’s the music he loves and you can see that through the acts he requests to support him. It’s time now to shine the light on who he is.”

Takes counsel from advisors and vassals, listens to them, takes their advice into consideration.

Willing to engage in mercy if asked sufficiently, but more inclined to mercilessness as a default, and swift to punish treachery. E.g.: let the surrendering Saxons go back to Germany, then hanged all the Saxon hostages when the Saxons turned back around and attacked the Briton countryside. E.g.: had made the decision to let none of the Picts and Scots live, but the bishops and clergy of those lands approached him and begged for mercy, such that "pity finally moved him to tears".

Fierce fighter and battle-leader, even at a young age, often even rushing into the front lines to inspire and rally the troops and successfully killing… lots of men. (470, in one of his first campaigns.)

Loyal and protective of his vassals.

Rejoiced at being universally feared after his conquests, and desired to "submit all Europe to his rule", so he conquered Norway, Denmark, and Gaul (over the course of a 9-year campaign). Eventually also fought and defeated the forces of Rome (though didn't get to conquer all of Rome due to Mordred interrupting by taking over Britain).

Unhesitant to accept single combat, and would even seek out challenges (for example, fighting two different giants in single combat and winning). "For King Arthur possessed such strength and courage that he scoffed at bringing the entire army against such monsters. He wanted to impress his men by vanquishing the creature himself" and so would do stuff like get Bedivere and Kay to steal away with him so he can fight a giant in single combat

Eloquent and well-spoken, able to give speeches "bedecked with a truly Ciceronian eloquence".

Had a portentous dream (about a dragon and bear fighting), not very good at interpreting it though.

Wife: Guinevere, "from a noble Roman family", who had been brought up in the household of Duke Cador of Cornwall and "surpassed all the other women of the isle in beauty."

Mother: Igerna, married to Gorlois the duke of Cornwall when Arthur was conceived. Her "beauty surpassed that of all the other women of Britain".

Father: Uther Pendragon, who was disguised as Gorlois when Arthur was conceived, then later married Igerna after Gorlois' death. Poisoned to death by the Saxons after defeating them. Buried in Stonehenge (the "Ring of Giants") next to his brother Aurelius.

Sister: Anna, "whose sons and grandsons will later rule the kingdom of Britain" per Merlin's prophecy. Married Loth of Lothian, lord of Leis, "a most experienced soldier, wise and mature".

Another sister? Possibly a half-sister from Igerna and Gorlois? Unclear and unnamed, but married Budicus the king of the Armorican Britons over in what's now part of France.

Nephew: Hoel, king of the Armorican Britons. Arthur and Hoel were very fond of one another, "united by love and a common blood", and Hoel was a strong ally. Arthur dropped everything to rally to his rescue when he was ill and besieged, and they showed affection to each other more than Arthur is described as doing with anyone else in Geoffrey's narrative. (I get the sense based on the timeline and interactions that they're of similar ages, but I don't have evidence of that.)

Nephew: Gawain, son of Loth of Lothian and Arthur's sister Anna.

Nephew: Mordred, son of Loth of Lothian and Arthur's sister Anna.

Brother-in-law: Loth of Lothian, Earl of Lothian and King of Norway

Paternal uncle: Constans, eldest brother of Uther, prior king of Britain before Vortigern and Vortimer, former monk, puppet of Vortigern, deceased before Arthur's birth.

Paternal uncle: Aurelius Ambrosius, older brother of Uther, prior king of Britain after Vortigern and before Uther, deceased before Arthur's birth.

Grandfather: Constantine, king of Britain before Constans, deceased before Arthur's birth

Timeline

Arthur's birth prophesied by Merlin to Uther, along with the birth of his sister Anna.

Conceived at Tintagel Castle in Cornwall when Uther lay with Igerna while disguised by Merlin as her husband Gorlois, who he was at war with at the time (because he wanted Igerna).

Uther and Igerna marry shortly thereafter, as Gorlois died in battle while Uther and Igerna were conceiving Arthur. They "lived together as equals bound by mutual affection".

Arthur's sister Anna is born to Uther and Igerna.

Uther becomes ill and places Loth of Lothian in charge of the armies to fight the invading Saxons. Uther is carried in a litter to command the battle when Loth is unable to command the Britons successfully, manages to mostly succeed until the Saxons assassinate him by poisoning a spring.

The leaders of the various provinces of Britain ask Archbishop Dubricius of Caerleon to crown 15-year-old Arthur as king.

Arthur "upheld the ancient custom" of gift-giving to soldiers who joined him until he ran began to run out of gifts, so then he attacked the Saxons to distribute their riches among his men.

Drove out the Saxons, then also the Picts, Scots, and Irish from Britain (the Britain of the time, which is now Wales and some of England).

Rebuilt the churches that the Saxons had destroyed.

Married Guinevere.

Subdued Ireland and Iceland, and then the kings of Gotland and Orkney surrendered to him before they could get invaded.

12 years of peace, during which Arthur invited "all the bravest men from the farflung reaches of his domain to join his household," and cultivated "such refinement in his court so that people far and wide sought to emulate it," and "every young nobleman was tempted to hang himself unless he could dress or bear arms like the knights of King Arthur's court".

Possibly around this time is when Arthur fights the giant Retho atop Mount Aravius, when Retho challenges him to single combat to add to Retho's kingly beard collection? (Retho was collecting beards of kings to make a fur coat.) Timeline is unclear here.

Conquers Norway and Denmark. Establishes Loth as king.

Spends 9 years conquering Gaul, holds court at Paris, gives Neudtria (Normandy) to Bedivere and gives the province of Anjou to Kay.

Big fancy feast/tournament/celebration at Caerlon, is ceremoniously bestowed the royal crown. Rome sends a delegation to threaten Britain, tell Arthur to come to Rome in August, and that Britain still owes Rome tribute. The Britons are outraged, Arthur tells Rome they should give Britain tribute instead.

Rome advances towards Britain. Arthur leaves Britain under custodianship of Mordred and Guinevere and invades Rome.

Arthur sneaks off with Bedivere and Kay to fight and kill an unnamed giant in single combat while waiting in Gaul for the rest of his armies to arrive.

The Britons defeat the Roman forces somewhere between Paris and Rome. Arthur winters in the Allobroges, continuing to conquer the area, and wants to cross the mountains to invade Rome when summer comes.

Arthur receives word that Mordred has "proven himself to be a tyrant and a traitor", seized the throne of Britain, and "now took his wicked pleasure with Guinevere, who had broken her marriage vows".

Arthur returns to Britain and wages war against Mordred, who's allied with the Scots, Picts, Irish, and Saxons. Guinevere joins the nuns at a church in Caerleon when hearing of Arthur's arrival and victories.

~542 C.E.: Battle of Camlann. Mordred is killed Arthur is carried off by Merlin, Barinthus, and maybe others to Avalon to be healed by Morgen. Constantine, son of Duke Cador of Cornwall, becomes king.

Other notes

"The Boar of Cornwall" in Merlin's prophecies refers to Arthur.

Most described court events were at Tintagel or Caerleon.

Merlin does not show up in Arthur's story after his conception. In "The Life of Merlin", Merlin implies that he helped bring Arthur's body to Avalon as well.

A manga series in the Pokémon world, kind of like JoJo. It details the events of the games, but in a world where instead of Pokémon, people just. Have access to Infinity energy directly. The parts are:

Part 1: Red Green Blue

A tale of a ninja boy studying to become a great ninja. Probably the weakest story wise. Based on gen 1.

Part 2: Golden Days

2 years after the protagonist's journey, a young man ventures to explore the region he calls home, making friends and enemies along the way. The first to follow the Infinity formula. Based on gen 2.

Part 3: Flaming Oceans

A young man explores Hoenn on a vacation, oblivious to the lurking horror of the legendary beings awaiting him. Based on gen 3.

Part 4: Temporal Spatial Madness

A general election is taking place in Sinnoh, and a young man seeks to win it. On his campaign trail, he stumbles across a major conspiracy to overthrow the world order as we know it. Probably the most groundbreaking so far. Based on gen 4.

Special Saga: Will of God

A young man is sent to the ancient past by the Lord Arceus for unknown purposes. While dealing with the politics and mysterious powers of the land of Hisui, what awaits him? Based on Legends Arceus.

Part 5: Ideal Truth

It's Unova! A young man goes out on a journey of self discovery with his friends, and meets a man with a unique power: a complete lack of Infinity Energy. Along his path, he deals with those who seek to wipe out Infinity Energy altogether. Based on gen 5.

Special Saga 2: Shades of Gray

Two years after the Team Plasma incident, a new hero shows up in the wreckage. What world will he shape? What world has been shaped already? Based on BW2.

Part 6: Deadly Daily Stroll

In the beautiful region of Kalos, a new power awakens. What is this "Mega evolution"? Who are these people who desire eternal beauty? And what new and old faces will we meet this time? Definitely a game changer for the series, as it introduces arc gimmicks into the main series(they EXISTED in Special Saga 1, but not in mainline.)Based on Gen 6.

Part 7: Arrows of Sun and Moon

On the Alolan Isles, a young man seeks to become a master archer, despite his lack of skill. As he hones his skills, the forms of Z moves come into play. How will this power propel his growth? My second favorite idea. Based on gen 7.

Part 8: Warrior of Heaven and Hell

A young Galarian boy is sent on a journey by the strongest fighter in the region. Moreover, the power of "Dynamax", increasing one's size and strength, is becoming ubiquitous. What will this mean for the world? Probably my least favourite idea, but I still like it. Based on gen 8.

Part 9: Futurama

A teenager from Kanto moves to Paldea to go to the prestigious Uva Academy. On his way, however, he notices a mysterious injured woman at the beach, revealing metal and wires from her injuries. Moreover, he soon learns the power of "Terastal", crystallizing oneself to increase one's power. What is the true meaning of this phenomenon? What does it have to do with the woman at the beach? Who is she? And what does all this have to do with the mysterious Area Zero of Paldea? My personal favorite, and if I make specific region posts, the one I'm doing first. Based on Gen 9.

Captain of Demonic Cultivation (MDZS x TWST AU) - Jiang Yanli’s Phoenix Mountain Moment but It’s Yuuken Instead

I want to write the whole Phoenix Mountain Hunt but I have no energy to write the whole episode. So, I just write Yanli best scene. Either this or The Untamed "I used to see you as my lifelong bosom friend" scene, but the latter will be only after I have more context.

The Sunshot Campaign had passed and peace had arrived. Whispers among the streets about his brother's new unusual cultivation method, but Yuuken still stands by his belief. Both of his siblings are the only family left, thus he will stand by their side as they rebuilt their fallen House Crowley of Dawn.

It was during this time that House Kingscholar of Afterglow decided to hold a Crowd-Hunt at Phoenix Mountain, inviting all the remaining four Great House. This was also one of the few that Yuuken can attend since he was personally invited by First Lady Claudia Kingscholar, the mother of Leona Kingscholar, his former fiance. Though Yuuken could've guessed why she did that.

Even so, that didn't make walking down the forest path with Leona by his side to be less awkward. Lucky for them, there weren't any monsters around, though Yuuken guessed that it had something to do with the sound of a flute earlier.

"Looks like we have ourselves a human-size snake."

Yuuken snapped out of his thought to look at Leona. "What?"

"A monster from the southern isle." The young lord crouched down. His fingers brush away some grass, revealing the shedded green scales that were too big for Yuuken's liking. "It'll just have a height-measuring contest when you encounter it. If it's taller than you, it'll swallow you up. Looks tough but it's nothing compared to us."

Yuuken's eyes widened slightly. "Us?"

Leona glanced back, but Yuuken quickly looked away. "Surely you can take care of yourself."

Yuuken unconsciously reached for the hilt of his sword, Enma. "Oh. Of course." It wasn't that Yuuken didn't know how to fight. He had his spiritual sword and studied along with his siblings and Leona at Cloud Reccesses. But his spiritual power and experience in hunting are less than theirs, in addition to never being allowed to participate in the battlefield.

Leona was quiet for a while before getting up and started walking again. Yuuken followed with a few steps behind him.

"I can bring you to Afterglow Savannah's private hunting ground for next month's hunt," Leona said again. "You can catch many rare preys there."

Yuuken just hummed. Seemed like that wasn't the right response as Leona turned around and Yuuken immediately looked to the ground. "Not liking that idea? Don't you want to go hunting once in a while?"

Yuuken shook his head. "It's not that, but..."

"Or you just don't want to be with me?"

His breath hitched. "It's complicated." Yuuken might not be the smartest, but he understands himself. And he understand that he fancied Leona for the longest time. The two of them were engaged because both of their mothers were best friends. It was only natural for the two House to strengthen their bond. With Yuuka being born with a naturally stronger golden core, thus securing her role as the future leader of the House, Yuuken's role is to alliance through marriage. He understood that since he was little and as he grew older, his admiration and crush for Leona grew. He knew Leona had trouble expressing himself, leading to many misunderstandings like the incident that caused Jonah to get expelled from fighting with Leona and leading to them breaking their engagement.

"Is there anything about him that can make me happy?"

"You son a bitch!"

Leona clicked his tongue and Yuuken dared himself to look up. Leona wasn't looking at him. His eyes were closed and his head turned another way.

"Whatever," he said. "I wasn't going you invite you on this hunt anyway. Forget about it."

Yuuken hummed again. He had his guesses. "Please, excuse me." He turned around, going back to the path he went through, trying not to feel disappointed. Back then, even before their engagement broke, he wondered if Leona actually like being with him. But maybe it was Yuuken who isn't worth being by his side. Maybe that was why he didn't even realize the exploding cliff until Leona screamed his name.

"YUUKEN!"

Yuuken almost looked up too late as the human-size snake rose, possibly taller than the stairs leading to Cloud Reccess. Before he could reach for his sword, Jonah suddenly appeared in front of him, raising his hand as his golden eye glowed to summon his power. It protected them and attacked the snake at the same time, slicing through the thick skin as it screeched. An arrow suddenly flew through the air, hitting the bullseye right in the snake's eye. With a final loud screech, the snake fell down, causing the ground to shake. Yuuken turned around toward where the arrow came from, finding Riddle Rosehearts with his bow raised.

"What's going on?!"

Looking up, Yuuken could see Claudia, along with some of their House disciples, jumping down from her sword and quickly running toward Yuuken. Her hands were on his upper arm out of concern. "Yuuken, dear. Are you alright?"

Yuuken tried to calm her. "I'm fine, First Lady Claudia."

"Did the brat bully you again?"

"Mother!" Leona exclaimed, clearly not happy with the accusation. But Yuuken couldn't look up to defend him, not when Leona did in a way.

Claudia huffed, turning toward her son. "Leona Kingscholar! Do I need to spank you again?!"

"It doesn't matter what Sir Kingscholar said," Jonah said, positioning himself between Yuuken and the Kingscholars. "From now on, he and Yuuken-oniisama will walk on their own separate ways."

"Now see here, Sir Argentum." A Kingscholar disciple came forward, standing next to the snake corpse with a look of annoyance despite his regal posture. Yuuken knew him. Farena Kingscholar, Leona's brother. "Aren't you being too arrogant for talking to your elder like this?"

Jonah scoffed at him. "I'm trying to go against First Lady Kingscholar. But your brother has bullied oniisama several times. How am I the arrogant one here?"

"How are you not arrogant one?" Farena landed his foot on the snake's head, twisting like he was squishing some ants underneath. "Catching a third of a prey. Not even leaving us the snake. Are you purposely showing off your demonic skill?" He sighed in disappointment. "The House Crowley's upbringing is nothing more but that."

"Farena!" Claudia warned.

But Jonah just chuckled. "Upbringings? Demonic?" His hand reached for the flute that was fastened on his belt where Captain's Order previously was. Yuuken watched his brother worriedly. He knew he wouldn't hurt anyone, however, no one know how far his new power could extend.

"Jonah." It seemed that Riddle had the same thought as him as he called him, but Jonah either didn't listen or purposely ignored him. He had a mocking smile on his face as he spun his flute with one hand, challenging Farena who watched him as if he was being insulted. 

"I may never bring my sword anymore, but I can still beat you any day with my so-called Demonic power." He stopped spinning his flute and his golden eye glowed as a warning. "You guys all are no match for me!"

Farena sucked in a breath. He gritted his teeth, his growls were audible, and his fists were curled. "Argentum!" He pointed at Jonah. "You're nothing but a servant's son! Don't get too cocky!"

Yuuken let out a gasp. He looked at Jonah almost quickly. His brother was silent for a second, but Yuuken knew his anger was brewing. "Oh." He chuckled. "So that's how you wanna play?"

Riddle was quick to step in first, grabbing Jonah's trembling hand that was holding his flute to avoid bringing it to his lips. "Jonah. Focus." But Jonah once again didn't listen to him, too furious to even acknowledge Riddle. Everyone could feel the air changing like the first sign of a dangerous storm as red auras trickled down his clenched fist.

Yuuken walked toward him, positioning himself in front of Jonah and putting a hand on his shoulder, giving him a gentle yet grounding squeeze. "Jonah-kun." When he didn't get any response, Yuuken pressed a hand onto his cheek. "Jonah-kun, come back to me."

Jonah sucked in a breath and finally came out of his trance. He looked up at Yuuken with a panting breath. "Yuuken-niisama..."

Yuuken couldn't help but smile, relieve that Jonah was back again. "Stand behind me, okay?" he whispered. He turned around as he gently push Jonah behind him.

Yuuken stared Farena straight in the eyes, standing tall without any trace of fear. The young man in front of him had stepped the line. Jonah's parents had been a sore subject in their family, more often than not the arguments between his birth parents. But it never hinders Jonah's smile which Yuuken has loved ever since their first meeting. Even when his mother didn't like Jonah in the family, Yuuken made it his life goal to love his new adopted brother just like how he loved his birth sister.

"Sir Farena," he started. His voice was steady and not wanting to show any anger. "From what you said earlier, Jonah caught a third of the monsters in Phoenix Mountain. He was unruly and too cocky. He intentionally caused trouble for you." He bowed him. "I apologize to you all on his behalf."

"Oniisama!" Jonah cried, but Yuuken just glanced back and gave him a headshake.

Farena chuckled. "Sir Yuuken, you really are kind and understanding." He eyed Jonah who looked like he was ready to pounce at Farena if it wasn't for Riddle still holding his hand. "What your brother did was extremely inappropriate and made quite a fuss." He looked back at Yuuken, a victorious smile on his face. "But for Sir Yuuken and Lady Yuuka's sake, there's no need to apologize. House Crowley of Dawn and House Kingscholar of Afterglow are like siblings."

Yuuken nodded and continued with his chin raised high. "However, while I don't join in a hunt that often, I know that throughout the years of hunting, I've never heard of a rule that forbids someone from hunting too much prey. If Jonah broke a rule, which one was it?"

Farena blinked confusedly. "What?"

"Sir Yuuken, what you said might not be the best way to put it," an older Kingscholar disciple spoke up. "Although it was not written, everyone understands clearly and obeys them well."

"That's right," another younger one chimed in. "How much prey is in the area in total? Probably below five hundred. That's so little compared to the five thousand hunters attending this! And Argentum hog them for himself! What are we supposed to do?"

"It isn't his fault that others can't capture any prey," Yuuken spoke without looking at who spoke, still focusing on Farena who slowly became more annoyed at him. "Isn't the hunt all about a test of one's skill? Although the methods that Jonah-kun used are different from others, it's still his magical skill that he build on his own. Just because the others can no longer hunt that third of the prey, you can't say he follows an unorthodox path. In the end, hunting is hunting. There's no need to bring up about upbringings. Jonah-kun is a disciple of House Crowley of Dawn. He grew up with my sister and me and is as close as a brother is to me. I will not accept anyone calling him a 'servant's son'. A mockery toward him means a mockery toward our House."

Yuuken stepped forward until his chest nearly touched Farena's. He took a deep breath before releasing it through his nose. His heart was hammering hard behind his chest. He knew what he was doing was right. All for his little brother. "So, I hope that Sir Farena Kingscholar will apologize to Jonah Argentum of House Crowley of Dawn."

Farena was taken back, just like the others from the murmurs. Jonah looked like he was going to cry, while Riddle nodded at him with respect.

Claudia stepped forward, a hand on his arm and rubbing gently. "Yuuken, dear. It's a small matter. Don't be angry anymore."

Yuuken turned to her, smiling out of respect. "First Lady Claudia. Jonah-kun is my brother. I won't let anyone insult him."

He looked up to Jonah and smiled with a promise. Promise that no matter what, he will love his dearest brother.

And he still loves him until his final breath.

Today let’s say hi to Dorado! He is a Shifter who changed from fighter class to Paladin and now, soon… barbarian! He’s been through a lot lol.

Here’s the first drawing I ever made of him:

He’s meant to look like a golden retriever! Originally, he was just a guest character for the campaign (The Destination Isle) so I decided his personality would be something very easy going so that he could just fit right into the party without problems.

He’s very much a good boy, dumb as rocks, and for the sake of the party he was a tank that could easily get from point a to point b (he was an Echo Knight at first!)

But when I got invited on to stay as a permanent member I had to embellish his story more because at first I had only thought of him from a very basic surface level haha. I kept his himbo nature but I worked with the DM on his BG heehee.

He has gone through some changes, including becoming a Paladin, so he looks like this atm:

Scarlet on the left (a romantic partner that he most recently got engaged to) and a guest character Civant on the right (who he previously was involved with briefly). Dorado is 5’3! He’s just a little guy!

Also I never officially made a NICE reference for Dorado because my good friend Kayla was making visuals for our twitch channel and she made a very nice one based off of some simple drawings I provided for reference (as to what he should be wearing etc).

These are just some outfits for some sessions that took place on a cruise ship!

Anyways I’ll post some more Dorado stuff a little later in the day!

So his name is Dorathel Lefevbre (Dolly as a nickname) he's a sheep themed tiefling! his dad was a sheppard so he grew up arround sheep a lot and he got picked up by the circus after an angry mob burned down his house (and potentially parents) cause they were dumb and afraid and thought they were raising a demon he was lk 9 he didnt actually SEE them die but he also hasnt been back to his home town ever since cause untill he sees the graves they might still be alive so BUT yeah the circus is awesome its all feywild themed! theres a hag, a watter nympth a centaur, all kinds of fun stuff! the owner of the circus used to be lk royalty in the feywild but moved over and brought some of his friends to start a circus cause no one was impressed by magic over there Dorathel is a tight rope walker and sword swallower glamor bard, and his partner is Zazel or Zee for short(they/them), a changeling who also got a kinda shit life, their parents were dopplegangers who used zazel to scam people and tried to sell them to the circus for profit so the circus owner actually said yes to get them out of that shitty situation They re a bit older than dorathel but they became really good friends and then lovers and grew up together as an acting duo! doing stunts and acrobatic stuff together! Zazel is a swords bard/rogue multiclass and they re a knife thrower (so lots of performances together of them throwing knives and dorathel being the assistant) they re very much incredibly in love lk they re THAT annoying couple just being obnoxious over how much they love each other asjkdad they ve also broken each other out of jail a few times for getting into trouble the circus leader disapeared out of nowhere, left only his jacket that he wears now everywhere, so Dorathel's main mission in a campaign whenever i play him will be to look for clues for what happened while Zazel stays at the circus shapeshifting into the leader to keep up appearances and keep the show going. They ve talked about getting married but want it to be special so they both agreed to bet on who can make the most over dramatic insane proposal first askjd with the leader back to officiate them/walk them down the isle! i already got their wedding outfits ready and all! Dorathel is gonna spend all the time just either using Sending every day to check on them or just constnatly write letters back and forth akjsd have some art of them! ps! the golden ribbon thing they both have on the tail and neck, is made from 2 halfs of the first ticket they ever sold for their act together! this way they re always together (and dorathel can recognize Zazel no matter what shape they take <3)

thats mostly it i think! dorathel was my first ever dnd character and has gone through a lot of changes across the years, i put a lot of my self in him and its been a really great way to explore gender expression so he really means a lot to me, and its super fun to have 2 ocs super in love for whenever i wanna draw wholesome content, currently in a campaign with a different character cause it fit better thematically, so i cant wait to play with Dorathel one day! <3 hope you enjoy it and thank you again for asking! i draw nearly exclusively my own dnd characters so im always down to talk about them to whoever is interested ^^ (do feel free to dm me if you wanna/are comfortable to talk about any character of yours i d love to hear about them as well!)

With Belos, as I have said, I felt disappointed with how he turns out to just be some human (or was) witch hunter which kind of killed the mystique (much like how they showed Belos' face early instead of during the Coven Day Parade).

But, I feel that, keeping with the major themes of the show, it makes him suited for the role. The series is all about finding a place to belong where you can be yourself and have your own friend/family group. Naturally, we would see committing genocide on an entire race for misconceived notions as being evil.

That is why I love his dual nature to Luz: Belos came from a time when witchcraft was seen as evil, so it makes sense he would still have that mentality even though he has been on the Boiling Isles for hundreds of years.

Really looking into Belos, he does have the potential to be slightly complex: I always love it when you have a villain who is fully convinced that they are correct in their judgments while the other characters can see them for what they truly are.

Belos, or Philip, is such a narcissistic villain, standing as a pretty accurate depiction of a narcissist as well. He is so convinced that he is the hero of his own story that he either started off lying and eventually it became interchangeable from him being truthful, or he really does believe all the claims he makes (besides saying the Titan can speak to him which was an obvious lie).

I believe it to be the latter: he has several portraits of himself in his "fake mindscape" all representing himself like he was some kind of hero with a dashing cape. Just look at him standing triumphantly over Luz and the others even though that was not the case at all.

Or just see how he can remorselessly go through 18 Golden Guards over the centuries and even have the gall to catalog all the ways he killed them? And yet, because of his narcissism, Belos can never realize the errors of his ways that maybe his genocidal campaign was one reason as to why his grimwalkers would "betray him?"

But, no. Belos cannot be wrong. He is always right. So that means that the grimwalkers chose to rebel and so they did it to themselves. He can just discard all those grimwalkers like broken toys worn out from his sadistic hardcore playing sessions. But who cares if one grimwalker gets broken down? After all, it's not like they have their own identity as people.

That is exactly how narcissists like Belos acts. And that is scary.
