How did you decide on Ben?

First of all, thank you for the compliment ^^ my MC is almost like a daughter to me. Also, i'm always happy to see more fellow Ben lovers, that guy deserves the world. And well, It's a kind of funny story because it wasn't exactly planned. At first I really liked Ben as a friend, and as a character he was interesting too. So I never saw him with romantic eyes at the beginning and I also never planned to ship my MC with someone from the game, but I saw them as good friends. Then the Celestial Ball mission happened and I really wanted to go with Tonks because she was one of my favorite characters. But she wasn't available, and as I wasn't very familiar with the other characters, I decided to go with Ben because he was the closest friend Pearly had at the time and I wanted to give him an opportunity to stand out and have some fun, but just as friends. But I didn't expect the event to take such a romantic turn, and he started hitting on my MC at the event and I was like "Oh my God, what did I do, I deceived this poor boy… ." well, life goes on, and the seed had already been planted. But what particularly made me ship it for good was the scene in the fountain where Ben wants to talk alone with the MC after the red robe wizard thing. And seeing that boy who was afraid of even napkins arrive and throw himself in front of my MC to defend her from a dark wizard who could very well end up killing him was what made me look at the screen with wide eyes and scream "OH MY GOD !! IT'S HIM!!" (I actually did this, it was very exciting for me at the time). And it was kind of from there that I definitely started to see Ben with different eyes and invest in his ship with Pearly, and I really don't regret that, lately I've been moving away from the game, but the moments that these two spent together, even though in the end it didn't even end up being a fixed romantic option, it was the best experience I had playing it. That's it, I definitely recommend shipping Ben with your MC, it's a goldmine.
