She talks about her running away without looking and without consideration for others as one of the reasons she wanted to break up with Junho, and that was one of the things he got upset about as she actually was doing the break up - think about all the times mid conversation she would just up and run off bc she had some revelation!

1 : Soap never had any idea that woman wanted him carnally, he's not the most observant on that front (he never noticed Ghost flirting with him and thought his love was one-sided for the longest time, but tbf Ghost was also very discreet about it)

2 : He sewed the hat, eyepatch and hook himself, because he's the best uncle and then got distracted as he was wrapping it up, so now he's watching a tutorial on youtube about how to build a voice box. Honestly how hard could it be, he builds explosive devices as a hobby (listen, Price doesn't have to know)

3 : He is out to his family, but doesn't want his mum to know he has a boyfriend because he knows she'll insist on meeting him and welcoming him to the family and making a big deal out of this, and he knows that Ghost isn't ready for that.

4 : Christmas is obviously a very hard time for Ghost, but he is very very in love with Soap and some days still can't believe that it's mutual, but then his Johnny does something like that and his head gets quieter while he's melting a bit.

5 : For the people that didn't see my other post : the bird is a Caique parrot, and they're supposedly very energetic, a bit loud, medium sized, unintelligible, very friendly to what they consider their family, adventurous and danger prone, with an explosive personality and a hate of boredom, so basically the adhd bird.

I tried out a new challah recipe! It's a very soft bread and, if it makes sense, has a thin bite to it (as in, it's a very light bread). The dough was also surprisingly pleasant to work with! I didn't have to alter much of it at all in order to get to work

There's honey in it (I hate honey), but it's baked out pretty well, though it hasn't been baked out well enough that it can be a savory bread. If you added cinnamon or chocolate chips or something to sweeten it, I think the flavors would make even more sense. I think next time, I'll try to make it sweeter because the honey notes are confusing me a bit.

Ingredients (U.S.):

2 eggs

1 cup of water

1.2 teaspoons of yeast

1/3 cup honey

4.5 cups bread flour

1.2 teaspoons salt

1/4 cup oil

Optional: Everything bagel seasoning, sesame seed, cinnamon

In a bowl:

Break and combine both eggs. Set aside a small portion to serve as the egg wash. Stir well, add water, and stir until combined.

Before mixing well, add yeast, honey, and flour to the bowl

Add salt then oil. Mix.

Knead the dough for ten minutes

Cover the dough in a bowl until it doubles in size (approximately 45 minutes)

Deflate the dough, then separate into six equal parts

Roll out each ball, then braid the dough together

Use the eggs as an egg wash for each challah, then add any additional toppings

Bake at 350°F/176°C for 25 minutes

Currently working on my EAH multi-part video essay (which might be split up into separate videos before releasing a combined version with all the parts together), and Part 1 is me dissecting some of the lore regarding Destiny and the system around it, but my subsection on the Storybook of Legends is unhinged due to me losing my sanity over it.

Nami gaining weight after Arlong Park is not only accurate but an important conversation we have to have regarding how healing can cause food intake to change. It is an important piece of rep, and I think Oda missed out. 👊😔 No, but truly. I see a lot of people complain for a variety of reasons, but like... first of all, I don't care. Erm, but like even with sorta valid complaints, I feel like they're wrong, or there could be a reason why she could be slightly overweight to midsized.

To address complaints that she's too active, One Piece bodies are not anatomically accurate or possessing the same as metabolism or whatever as us. So, like that alone is that answer. But also, you can be overweight and active, you all know that right? Weight is calories in vs calories out, Nami could eat/drink enough calories in a day to be overweight.

Another, maybe reasonable complaint, is that Sanji meal plans. But like, I don't like the idea that Sanji keeps any of the Strawhats at their necessary caloric intake and never goes above that. Nami's height and weight, 5'7 and 110lbs, would currently put her in the underweight category. There's no chance in hell. I refuse. Sanji, based on Canon characterization, might not like super overweight women aesthetically, but his ass is not feeding nami to be underweight. Both because of her muscle and the fact that Sanji is feeding his crew good, no way. She would have to eat under 2500 calories, this is based on her doing intense exercise daily cause, like they are doing crazy exercise, a day to maintain that. That's not happening. Think of how many snacks and drinks Sanji gives Nami and Robin, just the ones shown on screen. Let's say for a moment, being we're the same height, she's my weight. 161 lbs, just overweight, but y'know still overweight. She'd have stay under 3000 calories a day, that's feels more realistic. Still I feel like she might weigh more with both fat and muscle. If she was 180lbs she would eat about 3,076 calories to maintain that weight, which between 180lbs and 160lbs is only 163 calories difference which shows how easily she could and would gain weight.

I don't know. I just feel that all factors, including her height, activity level, muscle, caloric intake, etc, would make her weight lay around 160-180lbs. I also just get weirdly fixated on things and need to put pen to paper or thumb to keyboard. Also, this is a better use of my time and knowledge on calories and weight and stuff than what else I could be doing with that knowledge so.

I don't understand why everyone is cheering, because to me it's clear that Futa is at least beginning to see medical treatment as inadequate, if not starting to reject it. I got the impression that he at least feels that medicine isn't enough. And that's horrible because that probably means he is getting more indoctrinated by Amane, not only that, but I'm getting the feeling he's developing a savior complex(? all over again. Just like when he thought that harassing people online made him some kind of hero, the only person capable enough of saving others. His weapon now is whatever ideals he's clinging to, to keep himself sane rather than doxxing and harassing, this time.

I'm happy about the 0306 interaction but if Futa gets indoctrinated it's not just him who's in danger of the cult's ways. It's Mahiru too, because he seems to be getting close to her. It's Haruka too because he seems worried about him and I think Futa is the most likely to save him from, you know. I used to think that Futa probably isn't believing what Amane is telling him 100% and while I still believe that, I still believe that Futa is developing his own ideals from a basis (a corrupt one...) I feel that the info he is being fed is enough to make him... not Futa. It's worrying.

I feel so bad for both him and Amane... the girl is feeling like shit herself because of the guilty verdict and yet she's trying to help Futa with the only thing she knows, her religion. And Futa is at his breaking point, extremely vulnerable, he was already not on super very good terms with any of the other prisoners before except Haruka, and now with Haruka's situation he probably feels that Amane is the only one whom he can cling to for any appreciation and reassurance. It's so heartbreaking and unfair for the both of them
