It’s so frustrating when you want to write a flashback scene in italics but then there’s a certain word that has to be italicized for emphasis but you can’t do it shwkanqkabaj. And making it bold just gives me the ick idk😭 so I have to either keep that one word un-italicized—which doesn’t give nearly the same effect—or I have to come up with a date for the flashback (which I do not have the brain power to do🗿) to keep the whole text un-italicized, but using italics for flashbacks is so much more seamless.
