I have seen a lot of comments on a lot of platforms about how the strike is… basically not convenient for people. 🙃

we know everyone’s poor and struggling! But these posts are not the time or place to say “well this is short notice/not fair to ask because i HAVE to do XYZ.” At least have the tact to keep it to yourself if you feel that way.

The US JUST vetoed the UN resolution days ago. People are clinging to their lives and still trying to get us into action last minute from across the world, so it’s not going to be perfect . Just do what you can.

I personally am not asking anyone to lose their job from calling off/not be able to make rent or pass their class, but put something at stake— think about what’s at stake across the world and how it is a privilege by comparison to have our comforts and complacency, however flawed and nuanced they are. Just try to do some thing, where you can.

Is fucking pissing me off. In a world and society where everyone is chronically online whether that be posting about themselves or hiding behind an avatar…why is it so important to people to know who you are? Why can’t people remain anonymous?

You are not entitled to know who the members are, that’s the whole point of them remaining and being anonymous and wearing masks. They don’t want you to know, because it’s not important.

I feel the Internet and the rising trend of social media has completely destroyed people’s basic comprehension and respect for one another. Especially when it comes to ‘celebrities’

And spreading comments like that around should not be tolerated and should be deleted.

I told a teacher (she is aware that I’m autistic and have adhd and has seen me have a panic attack before) that I need to take a break from the activity because it involved having to hold someone else’s hand.

I was starting to become very overwhelmed of all the sensory and knew it was better for myself to miss out then to end up having a panic attack. I explained to her that it was a lot at the moment with everything sensory-wise including stuff like noise and I didn’t think I’d be able to hold someone else hand because it would be overwhelming for me.

THIS BITCH SAID NO!

I’m the type of student who teachers normally trust because I always try to do the right thing and I wouldn’t just say that to get out of something and she knows that. It’s not like it was an important activity! I tried to further explain that I really couldn’t and how surely it wasn’t a big deal if I sat out a minute and it would be better than triggering a panic attack.

SHE SAID NO AGAIN!

So I was like nah this ain’t happening, this is too much.
