~Between going after villains to dealing with the PD

~So when you two fell asleep one night

~He had a nightmare you were killed by multiple Gotham villains

~You don't notice he has a nightmare until you feel cold

~When Jim is sitting in the kitchen nursing something to drink

~But not facing the bedroom

~You have to come up from behind

~And hug him tight

~He will probably jump 

~But he melts in your embrace 

~He wont tell you want happened

~But he will allow to be vulnerable 

~And allow you to just mumble in a sleepy voice all the reasons you love him

Edward Nygma

~Edward didn't have nightmares often

~But seemed to have them after being in Arkham

~Then escaping to home

~You would only know when you heard him arguing with himself

~That he shouldn't wake you up

~That this makes him useless

~As you could hear him mutter these things

~Pull him down to the bed

~So you can cuddle into him

~And promise that you'll always be there

~Both sides will melt

~And he'll tell you about the nightmare 

~So you'll understand his pain

Oswald Cobblepot 

~Oswald had nightmares often

~And you usually knew

~The reason is that he talked in his sleep and would hold onto you tight

~You would feel his hands tighten

~And whimpers fall out of his lips

~You’ll probably have to wake him up

~Just to let him know that he is not alone

~He will be sweaty and his heart racing

~But as long as you kiss his lips

~And squeeze his hand

~Oswald will calm down

~Go get a washcloth to help him cool off

~And intertwine your hands before you fall back asleep

Jonathan Crane

~Nightmares plague his head all the time

~And it isn’t because it is his fault

~It usually has to do with his father

~And another person that you will know when he wakes up

~Because he gets as far away from you

~He is shaking in fear 

~It’s usually when he does not consume himself in fear

~But appears in his nightmare

~Allow him to slowly calm down on his own

~He’ll immediately climb back into bed 

~Because he needs to feel you by his side

~Usually he falls asleep slowly after

Jervis Tech

~Jervis usually has nightmares that his Alice runs away

~You ran away because he harms you

~Jervis is one of the ones who will wake you up

~Just to make sure you are real

~And still loves him

~Before you get tired again, you’ll notice the fear in his eyes

~Whisper to him how much you love him

~And kiss his cheek 

~Before cuddling into his chest which calms him down

Victor Zsasz

~Victor wont show he has nightmares 

~You usually know when you wake up

~And he’s sitting in the shared bathroom just staring

~No emotions are shown

~But you know what is going on

~So you’ll have to go in

~And kneel where you look up at him

~He won't say anything

~He’ll just pull you into his lap

~And holds you tight 

~Just the silent of the night is going to be heard

~Victor will pick you up and bring you back to bed

~Usually it takes just that before the two of you fall asleep

~Victor will probably mention his nightmare later on in the week

~When he is ready

Jeremiah Valeska

~Even after the spray, Jeremiah still gets nightmares

~It happens to be about him almost killing you

~And he’ll wake up to you being sound asleep

~He’ll touch your arm

~And sigh 

~Usually you know something happened because he’ll be in the lab

~Bent over

~And probably throwing things in anger

~When you ask him what’s wrong

~You’ll see the anger turn to worry

~An emotion you do not see often

~And Jeremiah will walk over to you to hold you tight

~Demanding you wont leave him

~Even though you never thought that way

~It’s feeling you near him that causes him to want to go back to bed with you

Jerome Valeska

~Jerome did not have nightmares too often

~He was awake in the middle of the night usually

~But when he did fall asleep and had nightmares

~He was similar to Oswald by holding you tighter against him

~But you would still be asleep 

~Until you feel him kissing your face and neck while rubbing your hip

~When you slowly wake up, Jerome will kiss you lips and grin

~Usually you wouldn’t ask much

~Until you watch his grin falter

~That’s when you touch his face

~And kiss him softly till Jerome makes you fall back into his chest

~Once the two of you hit the bed, he’ll still be rubbing your arms or hips

~But you’ll hear him yawn

~He falls asleep pretty quick

EFFORT

Living in Gotham had never been easy, and some of your friends wondered why you would stay there despite all the crime, corruption, and being in some level of danger every day. You knew it might have sounded crazy, and it probably was — but you still thought of Gotham as your home, as flawed as it was.

This particular night had been a long day at work, and your boss had set you free two hours past your regular work time. He had done that a lot lately, whipping his workers to the edge, threatening to fire you if you dared to complain. So when you got home and kicked your shoes off and hung your coat into the closet, you felt at peace for the first time for hours.

You went straight to the kitchen and opened the fridge and took out the lemonade jug you had had sitting there for a few days now, sniffing it before shrugging - good enough. You poured it into the glass, adding some ice before chucking the lemonade down your dry throat. You let out a breath after swallowing, and watched the lights sprawling through your home street.

“Rough day, doll?” a voice drawled from the darkness of your living room, and you spun around, throwing the glass before even looking at the intruder — you knew exactly who it was. That fiery-haired boy had been following you for weeks, enough for you to see nightmares with his voice. You’d recognise it from anywhere.

And sure enough, it was him. He dodged the glass easily as it hurled into the wall behind him. He lounged on your couch, clearly anticipating you throwing something but he laughed anyway. “Woah, you have an odd way to greet your guests.”

“Jerome,” you growled, lifting the lemonade jug for protection. “What are you doing here?”

He stood up, smoothing out his jacket. “I saw your boss shouting at you today. Not very nice of him. I’m planning to give him a talk later, but I first wanted to check on you.”

“Fuck you! Get out of my house!” you shouted, waving the lemonade jug at him.

He pouted at you. “Am I really that unwelcome here? But I made all this effort to find you, to get into your apartment — I could get used to hanging out here occasionally, if you let me.”

You ignored it, turning to your bag for your phone, but Jerome reached you with a few quick strides, taking a hold of your wrist and pried the lemonade jug away from you, placing it on the counter. “Ah, ah, ah. Let’s not make this difficult. We could have so much fun, you wouldn’t want the police involved in our fun, would you?”

You tried to pull your wrist off his hold, but he just tightened his hold. You took a step closer to him. “Let me go, or I will make sure your balls will never again function.”

He tilted his head. “I just want to get to know you better.”

You tried to struggle yourself free as you seethed, “The feeling isn’t mutual.”

His smile disappeared for a moment. “That’s not very nice to say. I’ve been watching you for weeks. I know every little quirk and habit of yours. Doesn’t my effort mean anything to you?”

“You’re sick.”

His grip tightened again for a moment before he slowly let go, and you pulled your hand back as soon as his grip loosened enough, rubbing the red marks he left on you. He stepped back and sighed. “You know, you aren’t the first person to tell me that, and won’t be the last either.”

You took one more step further from him, your spine colliding with your kitchen counter. “What do you want from me? Why me?”

His grin returned immediately, trapping you in between himself and the counter. At that moment, you wished you would have been one of the people they experimented with in Arkham, that you could just… melt through the floor to escape, or something like that. He lifted his hand, caressing your cheek. “Isn’t it obvious? I want to study you. I want to learn what makes you tick. Why aren’t you like the others, others are boring but you… you’re like a puzzle. And I love puzzles.”

Your gaze jumped around the kitchen as you tried to make up a way to get past him. The kitchen knife was tucked away with your cutting board next to the sink, and your phone was still in your bag over your shoulder, but with Jerome so close that you could almost feel his breath… not a chance.

“S-stay away from me,” you stuttered out, grimacing internally at your attempt to sound brave. “I-I mean it, I’m, I’m going to get you locked up, I…”

He pouted again, cupping your chin. “Oh, doll. It’s cute how innocent you are sometimes, do you really think the police will find me? Or if they even bother looking properly just for you? Have you forgotten where you live?”

You swallowed, knowing he was right. The police wouldn’t have time to protect you like that, you weren’t important in any way.

“My friends will notice if I disappear,” you squeaked out, and he hummed.

“That’s the best part of it. The thrill of being chased. But don’t worry doll, I’m not here to take you away. Not tonight, anyway.” He took a step back again, and looked around. “But I see you’re in no mood of company today, so I'd better get going. Your boss waits for me anyway, that warehouse is cozy for me but for my guests, it’s… less cozy.”

He walked to the door, and you stared at him as he went. You finally found a piece of courage, and asked, “What are you going to do with him?”

He turned to you slightly, raising his eyebrows. “Your boss? Well, let’s just say… he may not come to work tomorrow. Or ever, depending on my mood. Don’t be too surprised if that happens, he needs to learn that my doll deserves some respect.”

Your heart jumped, and before you even had time to consider it, you took two steps towards him. “Jerome, I may lose my job if you kill him. And I can’t pay my rent, or bills, or food if that happens.”

He looked at you, and smirked. “Leave all that up to me. Just sit tight, all of your worries will be gone by tomorrow.”

Before you could reply, he was out, his steps echoing in your stairwell — and even when you knew it was wrong, you were unable to dash after him and plead with him to not kill your boss. You just stood there frozen and only went back inside when you heard the stairwell door close. You closed your door with a soft click and leaned against it, taking in deep breaths.

You knew you should call the police. Or even one of your friends. Tell someone. You knew it, but yet you just stood there like an idiot. A thought that filled your head, that you should just let him do it. It was true that your boss was being unfair, forcing you to work like slaves. Overtime without bonuses, knowing his workers wouldn’t be able to afford to get fired. And his superiors didn’t care about it. As long as money was pouring in, your boss was allowed to do whatever he wanted.

So maybe… this was a way out. Maybe you should just let Jerome do what he will to the boss. And it wasn’t like you knew which warehouse he was talking about, there were hundreds in Gotham. You could just pretend to be shocked when the news rang out about what happened.

You knew it was still wrong, and it may be that this was exactly what Jerome was after, but you couldn’t help it, the feeling of finding a way out.

So, you closed your eyes for a moment before you straightened up and made your way to the couch, moving it to clean the shattered glass from the floor — and you found yourself being intrigued about his next visit, even when you tried to shoo yourself from thinking about it.

Ranting about a possible fanfic I'll write.

Anyone reading this hear me out. There are some Yandere Batfam x neglected reader that I love. Basically, the reader is a part of the family and is ignored by everyone until some event happens leading the family slowly becoming yandere. I just love the angst.

Okay, so what if she has a boyfriend before the whole family starts going off the rails? Right, okay, so what if her boyfriend was one of the Valeska twins? Both would just fuck everything up for the family and I'd love it.

Regarding which Valeska y/n would end up with I'd see y/n dating per-spray Jeremiah. Could see him only dating y/n because she is a Wayne. I see him being the more narcissistic one out of the two even though they both are. Slowly developing an obsession with y/n as I could see her being attentive toward anyone who shows her positive attention. And that could feed into Jeremiah's narcissism.

So when y/n opens up or Jeremiah realizes that she doesn't have a strong relationship with Bruce, he'd be more inclined to dump her. He plans to get a wealthy job at Wayne Enterprises and live a luxurious life, unlike his upbringing. So dating the daughter's CEO would give him an advantage, that's at least what he thought.

He'd gently put her down so that he could focus more on other things, but…This underlying obsession made it impossible. Now he's like fuck, I actually like her what do I do now? (y/n is definitely one to say I love you first.)

I couldn't see Jerome and y/n dating just because of her upbringing. She has strong morals having been trained by Batman and formally being Batgirl for a few years. She would have had to meet Jerome before he murders his mother since that leads him down this psychotic path.

Regardless of which Valeska she dated, I'd say that she has some loyalty toward him. Seeing them as more of a victim of circumstances rather than a villain. Though that would be thrown out once Jerome or post-spray Jeremiah start harming or worse killing civilians.

I just love the idea of the when the family is or turning yandere are just like y/n who the fuck is this and why are they trying to kidnap you? Meanwhile, the Valeskas are just screaming and throwing shit that they have to deal with more bullshit to get to y/n.

y/n's Personality

Loyalty would be one of her trades as she'd do almost anything for her loved ones that actually care for her. It doesn't mean she's blindly loyal to anyone who shows her kindness.

Empathy and consideration are strong ones as y/n has a big heart. She'd be understanding why the family is busy and how much work they'd do as they are not being close. But that doesn't mean she's not hurt or frustrated when Bruce blatantly shows favoritism. Yet she doesn't want to be an inconvenience or get in the way of their vigilantism.

Inferiority complex. Being the only family member to quit being a vigilante has taken a bit out of y/n. She is justified in her reason, but that doesn't stop her from feeling less valued. She wants to be seen as valuable, so she doesn't often go to anyone for help. Fearing that it would make her look less valuable to whoever.

Depressed. y/n may smile and laugh, but that doesn't mean she's not dealing with depression. Having trouble getting out of bed and whatnot was one of the factors that made her quit being a vigilante.

People pleaser. Trying to show her value as a person by doing what most say. Or just trying to avoid as much conflict as possible.

Notable Things About y/n

Art is what she uses to express herself. Drawing or writing (totally not self-indulgent) are the primary examples. Won't or couldn't bond with Damian over this because he doesn't like her already and she's too afraid of opening herself up to him.

Baking things with Alfred if he has the time. It's therapeutic and helps combat anxiety. She also loves giving sweets to others seeing them enjoy it and showing that she’s not completely worthless.

Probably in a big sister program to provide support to those younger than her and prevent others from feeling lonely like her. As she isn’t able to help the family as much as she used to. Might even be a soup kitchen volunteer.

Hopes to have a job that’s in the creative field and move far out of Gotham. Will try to get into a college out of Gotham once she’s done with high school.

Either has a few or just one friend. Often spending the night at their place, so that she’s not alone.

Wants a normal, quiet life. Get married have kids or adopt if her partner wants to.

y/n as Batgirl

Let's say she was adopted by Bruce when she was 8. Taking about 2 to 3 years to train before even being allowed to patrol.

Become Batgirl before Jason gets killed and was probably somewhat close to Jason. His death showed the dark reality of vigilantism but wasn't what made her quit. Though it made her think of what the future would look like.

Meeting Tim, she wasn't malicious or anything. Quite the opposite and she was probably closer to Tim than Jason given that they were the same age. Didn't like the idea of having him become the next Robin since Jason's death was still recent, but didn't want to start an argument with Bruce.

It was kinda painful to see Tim dressed up as Robin as he almost looked like Jason. y/n coping that this is just keeping Jason's memory alive and she was the weird one for feeling uncomfortable.

Seeing how quickly Tim was able to gain the role of Robin while it took her a few years made her feel inadequate. Maybe she wasn't made for this but quickly got rid of that thought. Everyone learns at their own pace and Tim happened to be faster.

Jason coming back had y/n squealing out of pure happiness until he tried to kill everyone including her. Could see y/n being the one who nearly gets killed by Jason simply because she's never been a fighter. Too passive for her good. Also, she couldn't bring herself to punch him even before hearing all that he's been through.

There probably wasn't a traumatic event that led her to end her time as Batgirl. Just slowly realizing that this wasn’t her passion, feeling like an inconvenience when her depression knocks her down, and her insecurities. After quitting she avoided everyone as she couldn’t stand them trying to persuade her to not quit or expressing their disappointment in her.

By the time Damian comes around, she is not at all involved with Batman or the others. He mocks her, believing that she couldn’t handle the heat of being a hero which is partly true. If she has any inhuman power then I feel that Damian’s mocking would be more intense. Thinking that she has an advantage that one of them has yet still wasn’t enough and is wasting her power by being a civilian.

Going back to the Valeska twins. I think y/n would be more inclined to be loyal to Jeremiah if dating him rather than Jerome. Mainly because it takes him longer to harm innocent people while Jerome is just stabbing people for shits and giggles. She'd probably hope that there is a cure for the laughing toxin. Any horrible thing post-spray Jeremiah could be blamed on the toxin despite him stating otherwise. Her loyalty and hope would slowly be crushed by how the heinous acts are getting.

(I'd like to think that Jerome made the spray to change his physical appearance to look more like the Joker. Could see the Joker taking in Jerome to become the next "Joker". Was going to use it on himself until y/n expressed her distaste for the Joker. He wasn't going to stop working with or for Joker just because of that, but he wasn't going to use the spray. Which sucks because he worked so hard on it. Then just decided to use it on his brother for 3 reasons. 1) He didn't want it to go to waste. 2) He thinks it'd be funny. 3) Fuck Jeremiah.)

Having a break up with either Valeska is going to have y/n balling her eyes in her room. So the yandere family is just going to break down the door and act like they cared the whole time. "What are you talking about y/n? Us ignoring you? No, that isn't right, we hang out all the time." y/n would have liked the fact that her family cares enough to check on her, but it overwhelmed and freaked out by how sudden this is.

The family would encourage force y/n to start training with them regularly since there are two psychopaths after her. Not only will they be able to keep an eye on her, but also be able to catch up on all that time they missed.

I'm ending it here for now because I have other things to do. But I swear I'm going to get this written. No one's gonna read it, but I'm going to write cuz why not. Possible cover art for the story.

Thank you so much for answering, I’ll definitely check him out in a bit! I'm not sure if you're asking me when I was last active, but I was around from about 2019 to 2021, but ended up deactivating my blog sometime around March or April of 2021. A friend talked me into "growing out" of reader inserts because I had just turned 20, and apparently that meant I was supposed to focus only on published literature, fanfiction was “for kids.” 🙃 But earlier this year, I started really missing the community and made a new blog. It’s just been hard finding anyone still active. Like, lotsoffandomimagines seems to have deactivated last year, which really threw me off, they were kind of a backbone of the community. There were also a bunch of writers I followed who’ve been silent for years, and some I only remember in fragments, just avatars or a few fics, but not their usernames. For example, I remember this one girl who ran a blog dedicated entirely to rare characters, she wrote AMAZING stuff and had this huge list of characters hardly anyone touched. Her avatar was a sparkly book, I think? Then there was someone else I really liked who wrote for so many fandoms and she had four pet rats with funny names. Her avatar was her holding one of the rats in front of her face. She used to write a lot for Marvel and Gotham, and I think Harry Potter too, though she stopped writing for HP a few weeks before I deactivated. Those seemed like the fandoms she was known for? I might be mixing some details of her up with another writer who really loved Jerome Valeska though, I think they were mutuals, this other girl had this avatar of a woman looking up, I don't know if it was a character from one of the fandoms she wrote for. And then there was this writer who used to post really short fics, often without much dialogue. Their banners had white backgrounds with small black font, and they scheduled posts so every character got a turn, instead of just posting as inspiration hit or based on requests, and their avatar was Bucky Barnes I think? I think they, and honestly a lot of the others I followed, may have deactivated because they were getting bullied... There were days my entire dash was full of hate anons sent to them. Ace was hands-down my favorite writer on here, and I used to interact with them a lot. I eventually found out what happened after doing a deep dive on their username. That search led me to discover a few more writers who’ve gone quiet... Now I feel like I’m on a little expedition to find others,maybe some new favorites, but honestly, even finding one old fave might help me reconnect with more I’ve forgotten. Or at least lead me back to some of their old fics. I’d love to reread a few and feel that old spark again. Anyway, sorry for rambling! Thank you again for being so kind and helpful. Jerome endured a horrific upbringing that included his mother's abuse, that of her partners, that of his uncle, and lastly, Jeremiah's abandonment. He remembered Cicero's counsel at his 9th birthday, that he ought to accept the truth that the world didn't care about him. But what does that old man know? He had someone who cared; you; his sole friend and the only good thing in his life. 

Even as a child, Jerome was very possessive. As mentioned before, you were the only good thing to happen to him in a long time. He grew up to have a mindset where you both are against the world; that’s he your only friend, who knows and understands you more than anyone else. While most didn’t see it, at such a young age, you were able to identify that something was ‘wrong’ with Jerome.

Once, you invited a friend over to play with you and Jerome, which infuriated him. While you were going down the slides, Jerome pushed your friend into the slide face down. This resulted in them breaking their nose, which also resulted in the parents questioning Jerome. Wanting to protect Jerome, you lied and claimed they fell instead. After that incident, you never brought another friend again. 

As much as Lila didn’t like you around her son; she had no choice. When she tried separating you for the first time, Jerome seemed unhinged, almost on the verge of snapping. No amount of beating or ‘punishments’ could calm him. For the first time after Jeremiah; she was terrified of what he could do. When allows him to see you again, Jerome goes back to his normal old self. But Lila was unaware of how much she dug her own grave. 

When Jerome realizes that he sees you more than a friend, he accepts it rather quickly. He wants to spend his entire life with you on his side. So in his mind, it makes complete sense for him to see you through a romantic lens. His love of ideas is a bit twisted, though. His mother didn’t show it and his only guidance is those romantic comedies he watched with you, but then again, they aren’t the best example either. 

When he killed his mother, Jerome finally felt free. Not only will he no longer suffer under her abuse; she won’t get in the way between you and him ever again. He’s excited to tell you what he's done, but has to clean up the scene. And while Cicero advises him not to inform you about his deeds, Jerome tunes him out. You’re his best friend. You’ll never leave or turn him in. You would lie to protect him as you always did growing up. 

Eventually, Jerome was questioned about his mother’s disappearance leading to his arrest, then being sent to Arkham Asylum. The staff had to deal with his violent and unpredictable behavior, hence, why they had you visit him so often. It was the only way to get him on his ‘good’ behavior. But he’d get angry whenever the guards would stay in the room, but for the moment, he doesn’t let it show. It can be unsettling how casual he’s about the whole thing. 

Once Jerome is out of the asylum, he’s so eager to see you again. While he may be a little hurt, if you had a hand in his arrest, he could never be truly mad at you. He’ll hold you close to him. Speaking as if it’s an everyday thing for him to break into your place. 

If there’s one thing about Jerome is he’s very open about his feelings. He casually confesses his ‘love’ for you. No matter what you do, he’ll continue loving you. Betray him in any way, it’s fine, he forgives you after some psychological punishment. Telling Jerome that you hate him will not deter him in the least. And while he professes his love of you in front of everyone, no one dares to use you against him, as they know Jerome will burn down all of Gotham if anything were to happen to you.

You grimaced as Jerome shot Greenwood. 

“There’s nothing more contagious than laughter,” he echoed, breaking into it. You and your boss simultaneously spat in your captor’s face.

Jerome looked momentarily taken aback, lick/ing where her sa/liva had hit his chin. His finger poked his cheek where you’d splattered him. Then popped into his mouth.

“That was strangely pleasant,” he announced, grinning, before turning to you. “But your aim isn’t quite there. Do it again.” Jerome opened wide. Like a carnival clown awaiting the water gun.

Montoya promptly head-butted him. That caught him off guard again, giving you the split second you needed to continue shimmying out of your bounds.

“AH, A- Heh heh heh!” His nose dripped blood. You shifted in your seat. “You got me! Now it’s my turn.”

“No, it’s mine.”

If you weren’t worried about hurting your hand, you would have sucker punched him. Instead, Jerome got a face full of chair. Or would have, if he hadn’t ducked in time.

“Huh. I would’ve hoped you’d rather take a seat on my face than to my face.”

Note: So “saliva,” according to Tumblr, is a no-no word.

Doing this to clean up my pinned post a little.

Q: Are your requests open?

My requests are always open for now.

Q: Do you write smut/NSFW?

No. All sex scenes are fade to black. I do not feel comfortable writing that kind of stuff and I make no expections, even if there's a character/fandom no one else writes for.

If you feel the need to complain, guilt-trip or harass me, claiming I’m selfish or that I’m your only option for smut in a particular fandom and I'm being selfish by turning it down because there's no one else etc, please understand that such behavior will result in a block after one warning. I write for enjoyment, and respecting my boundaries is non-negotiable.

Q: Do you write for [fandom]?

Check my fandom list. If it's listed, I write for it. If it's not, I either don't know it or don't feel comfortable writing for it. You're welcome to ask if I write for a fandom if you can't see it on my list, but in 99% of answers, it will be a no because I've scavenged through everything I've watched, read or played and picked out the cherries I'm interested writing for, so please don't keep your hopes too much up.

Please ASK before sending in a request for that fandom, as requests like "hey can you write Daryl Dixon x reader where reader has a bite scare" have created confusion waves before because people didn't read my "sorry but I don't write for The Walking Dead" and I have gotten spammed with "AAAAHHHH I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WRITE FOR TWD OMGGGG 😍😍😍😍).

Pro tip: On web, use CTRL + F (or CMD + F on Mac) to find your fandom quickly. But please note that some fandoms are under a "Fandoms I no longer write for" banner. These are at the bottom of the list, and I’ve made it clear they’re no longer active.

Q: Do you take commissions or can I pay you to write my request faster?

No. I do this as a hobby + profiting from fanfiction is a copyright infringement and I don't want to participate in that kind of stuff.

Q: Do you write OOC character fics?

No. I know OOC is subjective and some may think something is in character while I don't think so, but I just don't feel comfortable writing characters like Jerome Valeska being cuddly and fluffy and cute, nor I want to write someone like Peter Pevensie as someone who's obsessive over reader.

Unfortunately, this may also apply to some prompts if you request them with certain characters. Like if you request a prompt or a song that's kinda "forcing" me to make a character OOC and I can't find my way around it, I won't write it. (I will try in any case to make up an idea that's potraying the character in a way that satisfies me but if I fail, I will turn the request down because writing a fic I wouldn't see happening is unpleasant to write and it would definitely be seen in the fic quality)

Q: How often do you post?

Starting from January 2025, I will post once a week. The post comes out every Friday at 4pm Eastern European Timezone. This pace may or may not pick up over time.

Q: Can I make a non-reader insert request?

This is exclusively a reader insert blog, so no. But as long as reader is the MC, canon ship fics are fine. Like for example, a Six of Crows fic where reader is trying to trick Kaz and Inej on a date and they work together with the other Crows to achieve that. But again, if reader is not involved in the request, I won't write it.

I do write non-reader inserts elsewhere (very occassionally, there may be years in between fics), but I don't take requests for those.

You can get my non-RI AO3 username by private messaging me if you're curious, I'm not advertising the account publicly because a lot of people don't really read posts beyond links to fics/rule pages either and I don't want to take a risk of starting to get requests for non-reader inserts... if you read this and come to ask for the username, I know you've read this paragraph and you already know I don't take non-RI requests.

NOTE: I don’t write fanon ships with reader. While I have my own fanon ships and don’t necessarily ship every canon pairing, there are certain popular fanon ships I don't want to touch and there are also many I'm not aware of if I'm not super into the fandom.

Q: Do you do special events anymore? Follower celebrations, holiday events etc?

I decided to quit those and no longer celebrate my follower milestones with any events, and holiday fics are off the table for now because I'm not sure if I'm able to spur out so many fics in such a short time right now + I want to get my current to-do list in shape first.

Q: Can you add me to the taglist?

I'm not currently doing taglists, sorry. They're really tedious to manage, I may reintroduce them at some point but there's lots of ifs and buts that keep me from starting to manage them again and I'm not sure if I have enough patience for that.

Alternative: If you have an AO3 account/are planning to send in an invitation request for an account and are interested to get notified about new uploads, head over to my AO3 series masterlist and pick out characters and fandoms you want to read about, AO3 informs you automatically whenever I upload something new to those, I don't have to do anything else than click on a few buttons.

Q: How does AO3 series taglist work? Do I need to sign up somewhere?

You’ll need an AO3 account. Once logged in:

Visit the series page you’re interested in.

Click "Subscribe" at the top-right corner of the page.

AO3 will send you an automatic email whenever I add something for that series.

If you’re only interested in certain fandoms or characters, it’s better to subscribe to those specific series instead of my entire account. (Subs are anon btw, I can't see the usernames of those who have subbed to my works, so you don't have to feel awkward with subbing)

Q: I clicked a tag link in your masterlist, but it came up empty or only has a few fics. Why?

When I unprivated my blog after 2022 September-2024 January hiatus, Tumblr failed to reindex tags for posts when I unprivated them, it's a rather common bug. Tumblr engineers are working on it right now for me. If the tag has a few fics and the masterlist looks empty overall, it's also possible that it's not a bug and that tag just doesn't have more than that.

Q: You last published a fic for a fandom in 2020 nor do you have anything for it in your to-do list, why?

Not having any pending requests for that fandom just means nobody has sent me anything, and unless the fandom/the character is the love of my life, I rarely have any ideas of my own for it. If the fandom is still listed in my fandom list, I still am willing to write for it.

Q: I requested a week ago and it still hasn't come out, are you still planning to write it?

Yes, unless I’ve told you otherwise. Check my to-do list to see if your request is listed. If it’s not, I may have asked for a clarification for your request if something was left unclear to me (like if you request something for "Peter", I have no idea which Peter do you mean because I currently write for 6 Peters at least) or turned it down, which you can confirm by searching my blog.

I prioritise older requests over newer ones and occasionally work on fresh requests if there's a new fandom I’m excited about.

Q: Can I repost your work elsewhere, like Wattpad fave fic books?

No. I have had my fair share of people who repost into some "my favourite x readers of [character] to Wattpad book (with credit) and their readers still assumed they're the author, so please don't. he's probably taken with you from the first moment y'all met, if i'm being honest, because jerome doesn't seem like a big Team Player to me (except when it suits him, of course). so for him to ask you to step in and be his little helper is. well, it's a bit out of the ordinary

but the way you handle his mood swings and crazy plans is really what does him in.

if you're calm and controlled under pressure, he's gonna love trying to make you crack. he'll also just be such a fan of how badass you are, it's great

and if you're something more like harley quinn, he'll love that you're engaging so much with the stuff he likes (arson, murder, destruction, disturbing the peace, etc etc)

Against Me (Jerome x Reader)

Pairing: Jerome x reader

Fandom: Gotham

Summary: In a fit of rage, Jerome murders y/n. It doesn’t take him long to realize he needs her.

Warnings: Murder, mild language. There is a slightly descriptive scene of a dead body. (Nothing gory, nothing gross, I promise. It’s just mildly descriptive of a newly dead body, no rotting or anything like that.)

Rating: Mid-fluff.

A/n: It’s kinda short. My first Jerome imagine since the hiatus, so it might not be the best?

Title: Against Me.

  “Jerome, look…you know I care about you. I just- maybe this is going too far? You’re talking about destroying an entire city, and I just don’t think-” Y/n’s voice is cut off by a sudden, croaky laugh from Jerome’s direction.

“Listen to me y/n. Think about it! Only the ones who fight back will die. The rest will live happily- it’ll be our city, y/n! You, my Queen…y/n l/n, Queen of Gotham.” He turns around quickly and walks over to her, placing one hand on her cheek. “Think about it. Gotham’s just the beginning.” Y/n’s head shakes slightly as she closes her eyes, turning her face from him.

“Jerome, so many innocent people are going to die…you can’t do this, please.” She whispers. The word innocent immediately elicits a reaction from Jerome. His eyes darken as his lips curl up in a venomous smile.

“Tsk, tsk. My darling, there are no innocent people.” His smile slowly fades as he steps closer to her, reaching out once again. “Just think of my whore of mother.” He places his hand on her cheek again. “Everyone thought she was innocent…but she hit me every night!” His voice rises dangerously and y/n flinches slightly. His eyes lock with hers as his hand goes to his pocket mindlessly. “Oh, and darling, if you’re not with me,” he pulls something out of his pocket, and the light reflects off it brightly. “You’re against me.” Before Y/n can react, Jerome plunges the blade into her neck. Her eyes roll back almost immediately as she falls to the ground.

Almost just as soon as he had snapped, his heart crashes in his chest. What has he done? He killed y/n. Y/n, his queen, his princess, his life- his everything. She’s dead now, all thanks to him, all because he couldn’t control himself.

Jerome drops to the ground, lifting her lifeless body up. Her skin is already cold as ice- how’s that even possible? Her skin has turned an ashen color, and her lips are bloody and cracked.

“Y/n? Baby, sweetcheeks? Y/n, wake up! Wake up, y/n! Please, wake up-”

  Jerome jolts up stiffly, letting out a rather loud gasp as his eyes pop open wide. Within a second he’s turned his head to his side to check the spot next to him, his heart pounding wildly. Everything in him calms when he sees y/n’s sleeping form next to him, her eyes closed as she sleeps serenely. He lays down slowly, gently wrapping his arms around her and cuddling up next to y/n.

“I’m sorry,” he whispers. “I won’t hurt you, y/n. I won’t let anyone hurt you, ever…” He buries his face in her neck and inhales deeply, closing his eyes.
