I did before I started my apocalyptic series. My friend was like "I want a funny crossover fanfic" and I was like "okay, I can't write, but that won't stop me."

So I wrote a thing called The purpleest man alive. It's basically about how Donnie and Mikey get into the 2012 series, but like...zero drama and a hundred percent of my clown jokes.

I have to say that this whole silly little fic is held together by the power of the translator and dark magic.

Also, 2012 April acts pretty crappy in the beginning there. I was planning on doing her character development, but haven't gotten around to writing the part where she gets better yet

finished TSC!!

i love the way the narrations of neil and of jean clash. whereas Neil is a lost runaway, attempting to find some place to stay for a bit and then scatter away, through jeans eyes we see so much conviction of what and who he is that it's such a jarring difference. it's been said that jean is similar to neil in a lot of fronts, and I think that despite their beginnings being different, that's the point the point where they're similar. they both clutch to the idea of belonging with such a death grip. jean spent the better half of the book wanting to return to what he considered his, and in a similar way, neil spent it thinking of an escape plan from a potential home of his own. like wow. they both longed so much for something they never truly experienced. they both experinced their center point being (be it his mom, or his master) an abusive, controlling thing. they both believe, still, that they deserved it. be it his mom's abuse that neil thinks kept them alive, and jeans abuse that he thought was his purpose. as the book goes, they experience the idea that theres more than the way their mind was locked into. they both fight with the mindset that was beaten into them. slowly, almost unconsciously, they find that being a part of something can be a gentle thing.
