thinking abt how gale and wyll are both hopeless/devoted romantics, but with a very different flavor to them

wyll believes in the grand tales of romance, writing your story together and witnessing your very own epic tale, the true power of love, wanting to court you in the traditional way, being your knight in shining armor, making sure you never want for anything — the beauty of an ending through your own making, your happily-ever-after.

while gale is more spiritual in his approach to romance. he believes in the bond between souls, true connection and devotion that defies even physical factors, something otherwordly and magical that solely exists between the two of you, a merging of body and mind, getting lost in one another and choosing you each day anew. — he doesn't believe in fate, but he does believe in serendipity.

what they do have in common, however, is wanting to dedicate themselves to their partner with their whole heart. i just think they're both really neat and deserve to be appreciated more by the fandom as a whole!!

i like the idea that lily is one of the smartest people in hogwarts but she's also just like

very clumsy. she drops things, she trips on air, and she's very unlucky too, gum sticks randomly on her hair (mary or marlene always cuts the tips of her hair every month or so because of that), and everytime something like that happens, she makes an odd sound as she snorts and laughs.

because yes, she's clumsy and unlucky, but she's surprisingly positive about it, she finds everything to be very funny, and mary and marlene are so used to it by now that they're always ready to hold her before she falls, take her out of the way of something that's being thrown, or just hold something she dropped before it breaks.

i like lily being a bit of a mess, let her be a bit of a failgirl as a treat, she's adorable, and she's a genius!!!!

(also, mary can't help but look so, so fond and in love with her whenever lily laughs when she trips on the hem of her robes, like she makes the entire day brighter just by smiling)

you know what makes me sick to my stomach? its the fact that people say when you wish upon a star you’re a million years too late… it’s because the stars that you wish upon are millions of lightyears away meaning by the time you see it in the night sky it’s probably dead.

and maybe just maybe during 1977 james wished upon the stars to bring him his star back into his arms, during 1979 sirius wished upon the stars to give him his brother back but what they didn’t know was the star was dead… and so were their dreams.

i have this headcanon that the wizarding worlds laws change during wars. No one has time to fact check and so famously, people would break into houses and kill because they could and… they could get married.

Sirius and Remus could’ve gotten married because who has time to check whether one of the two is a werewolf in the midst of a war.

One day Remus would come home, beaten up from the werewolf gang, and whisper in Sirius’ ear “we could get married” and Sirius would turn to Remus, the traitor, and whisper “okay”.

And they would get married. And Remus’ mind was barely there, what with the wolves and missions muddling him up, and Sirius would know his husband was working for Voldemort. But for a second, they were happy. Despite it all.
