Very funny to me how Stansas present her character as being so interesting and complex because of her vulnerabilities, while simultaneously ignoring those same vulnerabilities in other characters. Dany is sold as a bridal slave and lacks agency throughout AGOT and after. Her dragons are either too young/small to utilize effectively or locked away for the majority of the story. They aren't some all-powerful trump card that protects her from harm. Arya is captured as a prisoner of war, forced to watch countless people tortured and murdered, and then essentially enslaved in Harrenhal with no way to fight back. She has an entire arc of feeling powerless, of being a "mouse", during ACOK. She doesn't have "kung-fu" or the ability to magically fight her way out of every situation, she's a young child lacking physical strength with only the most basic sword training.
Sansa isn't the only female character, she isn't the only young character, she isn't the only character who suffered, and no one is obligated to prioritize her. I'm so tired of Dany and Arya being mischaracterized and having their stories erased to prop Sansa up. "Sansa has kept her dignity" In other words, let's praise her for having a level of security that Dany and Arya don't have access to. She hasn't ever been forced to make a hard decision which of course means that she's morally superior to them. They can't even admit to themselves that her lack of action is due to her own passivity. If it doesn't fit their delusion, they erase it from the story and expect the rest of us to play along. Ask one of them what they like about her character without bringing up her being the ultimate victim, and I genuinely don't believe they'd be able to give you an answer. They belittle other characters more than they talk about her and these takes just scream insecurity/jealousy at the content and development other characters have in their POVs.

It's not that the Black Rose arc was a bad idea, it was just poorly integrated into the story. I think things would have worked out better if Mel stayed in Piltover and the show played into the fact Piltover is anti-magic and are thus wary of mages.

**A Man is Nothing Without His Borderline Personality Disorder Girlfriend: Hilarious Tales from the Trenches of Love**
Let’s face it: relationships can be wild rides, and when you throw in a girlfriend with borderline personality disorder (BPD), you’re in for an adventure like no other. As someone who’s been in this kind of relationship, I can confidently say that a man is nothing without his BPD girlfriend—especially when it comes to the endless stories that come from navigating the quirky world of love and mental health.
**The Emotional Rollercoaster**
First off, dating someone with BPD is like getting a VIP pass to the emotional rollercoaster of a lifetime. One moment, she’s on top of the world, showering you with love and affection like you’re the last slice of pizza at a party. The next, you’re standing in the eye of the storm, wondering why she’s suddenly convinced you’re the villain in her life story. “Did I forget to take out the trash?” you ponder, while she’s accusing you of plotting to ruin her life. Spoiler alert: No, you didn’t forget to take out the trash— but now you’re questioning every life choice you’ve ever made.
**Love and Fear of Abandonment: The Ultimate Combo**
Then there's the classic “I can’t believe you’re leaving me!” scenario every time you run to the store for milk. It’s a routine grocery trip, but suddenly, you’re walking into a scene reminiscent of a dramatic soap opera. “You’ll find someone better! I know it!” she cries, clutching her stuffed penguin like it’s the last lifeline on a sinking ship. Little do you know, this is just a friendly reminder that your seemingly mundane errand could threaten the very fabric of your relationship.
**Communication Shenanigans**
Let’s talk about communication, or as I like to call it, “The Game of Telephone on Steroids.” Conversations often morph into full-blown debates over the slightest misunderstandings. You could say, “Wow, it’s a beautiful day!” and end up with her convinced you’re subtly hinting that she’s not as bright and sunny as the weather. You know what they say: “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.” And trust me, if you say anything that can be interpreted as a hidden insult, you’ve just opened Pandora’s box.
**The “I Love You, I Hate You” Tango**
If you’re in it for the long haul, you’ll quickly learn that the “I love you, I hate you” tango is the official dance of your relationship. One minute, you’re cuddling on the couch, watching romantic comedies and discussing your future together. The next, you’re being accused of not caring enough because you forgot to ask about her favorite flavor of ice cream. The irony? You both just polished off a pint of her favorite flavor! But logic? Who needs that in a whirlwind romance?
**The Quirky Quirks**
Now, let’s not forget the quirky quirks that come with the territory. There are spontaneous road trips to nowhere, where you find yourself navigating to a destination you didn’t even know existed, all in the name of “let’s find ourselves!” You might even discover that your new favorite hobby is deep-diving into mental health articles, not for your sake, but to keep up with the whirlwind that is her life. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and by the end, you’ll probably be a certified expert in BPD—complete with a degree in emotional navigation.
**In Conclusion: Embrace the Chaos**
At the end of the day, dating a woman with borderline personality disorder may come with its challenges, but it’s also filled with unforgettable moments, lots of laughs, and a kind of love that’s fierce and unwavering. Sure, there will be bumps along the way, but every relationship has its quirks. The key is to embrace the chaos, find humor in the madness, and remember that love comes in all forms—even if it includes an emotional rollercoaster or two.
So here’s to the men out there who find themselves navigating the tumultuous waters of love with a BPD girlfriend—may your adventures be wild, your stories be hilarious, and your relationship be a journey worth taking! Just remember, without her chaotic charm, you’d be left with a very boring life…and who wants that?

I bet Raised Together Alastor's introduction to deal making actually was with Charlie. It was an accident though, he offered her his dessert if she'd do some of his homework. One big blast of magic rattling the palace later and they are both getting a stern lecture by Lucifer.
And here we see early signs of Alastor's deal-making acumen. For you see, Alastor doesn't like sweets in the first place! He was sacrificing nothing by letting Charlie eat his dessert!
Lilith was proud. Lucifer less so. The lecture was long and ended with a punctuated, 'Don't take shit from other demons!' And Alastor was forced to do extra homework anyway. And Charlie soon learned she got double dessert without the need for a deal if she just flashed the puppy dog eyes.

"this ur fave?"
Tumblr media
saw this on twt and it did make me giggle because Armin did far worse than Caitlyn ever did, so if you're an Armin fan you realllly can't be going that hard on Cait (said as a massive Armin fan who's eh on Cait).
you can discuss how the narrative of Arcane handled her character or policing as a system, or their differing ideologies, etc, but comparing Caitlyn to Hitler when your fave is Armin, who LITERALLY killed thousands personally and enabled near omnicide (albeit (mostly) unknowingly), is wild. the comparison is extremely distasteful and inaccurate - especially having seen the racist "Caitler" caricature going around.
Caitlyn's crimes are bad enough without such exaggeration: she was a dictator doing evil cop stuff, not committing genocide or waging war for territorial expansion, or even committing mass murder.
It reminds me of the Eren stans I'd encounter back in the day who hated on Catra and it was like. Oh you love your glorious king when he does omnicide but a catgirl almost does it and suddenly it's too far? 🧐 alright buddy
honestly comparing the crimes of most AoT characters is almost always gonna be a losing battle lol. though it seems twt users are now claiming Mikasa intentionally enabled genocide (though she ended it) and that AoT supports genocide?? it explicitly does not, what are we doing here

growing up is like, every single thing you thought would be so complicated and unmanageable and unthinkably difficult turns out to be, actually, pretty simple. and every single thing you thought was so simple and easy to understand and how come adults don’t get this turns out to be painfully hard to deal with, to actually understand and internalize.
the thing you thought you had all figured out—somehow, you forget the right way to handle it. the thing you thought would dictate the course of your entire life, the thing you thought would ruin you forever—you move on in 2 months. the worst thing to ever happen to you hasn’t caught up yet. maybe it never will. maybe life shouldn’t be based on which worst thing happens when.
a hobby you thought would be a silly one-off becomes an all-time favorite. a genre you could never see yourself getting into can offer you the best story you’ve ever experienced. an inherent belief you thought you’d never budge on starts getting cracks. a person you’ve only ever seen in passing and had short conversations with can become your closest three, five, seven years later.
everything you thought about yourself can turn out to be wrong. you’ll get better in ways you didn’t know you could. you’ll slip and fall just as much, get new scrapes along the way as you survive yet another mess of a job, a situation, a relationship. it might be fear, or it might be happiness when you’ll look at yourself in the mirror and not recognize who it is.
so yeah, i guess, if i had to describe what growing up feels like, i could say i’m closer to figuring my life out, or i’m even more lost than before, or that it’s like a rebirth, i’m becoming a new person, i’m finally getting to know myself, or the many, many other things people say when you ask them.
and they’re all right, of course—the future you dreamed for yourself at age 12 is no longer there to guide you anymore, but sometimes it does feel like you see things clearer, like the pieces occasionally click in your head even if you can never comprehend the puzzle. you’re still who you were at your core, but you’re also starting to peel back the layers, to find such things that you never even imagined could be you.
so yeah, i guess, growing up is all of those things and more. it never stops to wait for you to realize it’s happening. it’s changing, changing in a way you can never anticipate, changing in a way that will simultaneously ache deeply and make you the happiest you’ve ever been. it’s the most complex, most intricate experience a human could have.
but, like most complicated things, it’s also actually pretty simple.
i mean—it’s just plain fun, isn’t it?

ICYMI: Chapter 4 of Grounded posted yesterday!
Hera discovers Apollo is missing. This leads to more than one devastating revelation and forces Hera to question everything she thought she knew about her troubled son.
This chapter is a major turning point in the overall story, and @hyacinthusmemorial and I have been really excited to share it! Mind the tags, warnings and author’s note. Happy reading!

I find it so ironically funny when hardcore Debbie defenders use the defense that she was just a victimised teenage girl (agreed) and then proceed to slander Fiona and express their hatred for her character and lack of sympathy
as if being an adult magically absolves an individual of the horrifying trauma that precedes them and screws up their mentality and actions
funnily enough these people get mad at others for "expecting Debbie to be an innocent angel and hating on her for acting out as a result of trauma" (also agreed, debbie does deserve more sympathy, she can't be expected to grow up to be a perfect saint when she's been through so much) yet seem to hold Fiona to the same unattainable standards and put her on a pedestal as if she wasnt a child that was forced to intensely grow up while never actually being raised
like lets put this into perspective and remember that fiona grew up surrounded by corrupt morals and insanely screwed up behaviour yet still emerged as messed up, yes, but surprisingly good considering the situation she was in??? she had to navigate basic things such as morals and being a good, responsible person on her own. imagine how difficult it must be to lead a bunch of kids, including yourself, with no previous role model or good example of your own to follow. most of the time, she always tried to do what she thought was best and would have the most desirable outcome
#listen a lot of the time debbie defenders make good points#is debbie my favourite? no but she does deserve more sympathy#im really unserious on here and ive made some dumb meaningless jokes but at the heart of it i have sympathy for debbie#so no its not the debbie defense i have an issue with#its the way these people claim to be#1 understanders of shameless women and their complexity#top defenders#including of the women who have said and done worse than/just as bad as fiona#and then proceed to spew all this vitriolic lack of sympathy regarding fionas character#they always talk about fiona making the choice to be their legal guardian#as if the situation wasnt complex and 1) she felt pushed into an inescapable corner#2) that doesnt change the fact that she'd have strong feelings about her baby sister choosing to have a whole baby???#she claimed legal guardianship over HER siblings she did not foresee any other children being added to the mix#so yes she went about it harshly at times when she made debbie raise franny independently#but its not surprising considering her exhausted life?? her history as a TEENAGE GIRL and CHILD of raising kids???#there are actual mothers who'd be worse about this situation and fiona wasnt trying to be nasty#it was tough love and it could've been shown in better ways#and im not putting all the blame on debbie cause she was so young and vulnerable#but at the end of the day she made a choice and fiona was trying to help her understand the importance of consequences to your choice#and navigating adulthood when you choose to behave like one#of course debbie was often put in situations where she felt like she had to be a grown up and that is not her fault#but its not fionas either. theyre all just trying to survive. and fiona tried her damn hardest to preserve debbies childhood#so how do you think she'll react realistically to the whiplash of debbie purposefully getting pregnant#ultimately theres a lot of complexity and flaws and nuance to these situations and i find it weird when people criticise#others for putting so much blame on debbie#and then do the same to fiona as if shes not a victimised product of her environment too#you can show sympathy to debbie while understanding Fiona too and being critical in a mature#nuanced way#im not being a hater to anyone btw im just sharing some thoughts and letting it out. all im saying is#most of the shameless women deserve sympathy and understanding and its strange to deny fiona of that
