Don't say I'm biased against Feligami because I'm a hardcore Felila shipper cuz I ship Chloélila too or whatever their ship name could be idk (I'm bad at ship names I couldn't even think of Ikarimoth myself I take no credit for that ship name) they just work but Feligami doesn't cuz it's out of character that's why I don't like it and also it gets creepier the more I think about it

Felix is Ladybug
School starts tomorrow, and I'm already dreading it. Please send help. : (
Felinette November Day 3; Kwami Swap
-----
"So let me get this straight. Apparently, M'Lady is sick today and trusted you enough to let you know her secret identity and let you be ladybug for a day?"
"You are correct."
"Isn't that hypocritical? I mean, she did say that no one could know our secret identities."
"Apparently, I'm an exception."
-----
It was cold. So very cold.
Marinette pulled the blanket tighter around her body, shivering when she exhaled a hot breath. Glancing down, her phone lay idle by her feet. With the little strength she had, Marinette forced herself to pick up her phone and lift it up to her face, turning the screen on with a pained hiss. The bright screen practically burned her retinas in the dark bedroom. Marinette's sight adjusted to see the clock displaying a bold '1:59 pm' on her pink lockscreen.
2 o'clock. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The sunlight was supposed to be burning everything it touched at this hour. Then why the hell, for Kwami's sake, was it so damn cold?!
She buried her face into the pillow in her arms, though no amount of smothering could ease the headache that seemed intent on pounding her temples into smithereens. Marinette groaned in frustration, all too tempted to pull her hair out from the roots to just distract her from her aching limbs. Well, as if she even had the energy to move her arms right now.
"It'll be fine, Marinette. Get plenty of rest so you can recover quickly." Tikki tried to assure the teen, only to receive a soft grunt in return.
"But its a Monday, Tikki. And out of all days to be sick, it just had to be today when a project was due!" Marinette tried to raise her voice to emphasize her worry, but her sentences came out in a low, slurred rasp instead.
"And an addition to that, I promised to take a few of the Kwamis to the movies today. I've only been the guardian for a few months, and I'm already breaking promises." She forced out, her tone was worried and guilt-ridden.
Tikki frowned, "You shouldn't worry about any of that when you're running such a high fever! I'm sure the other kwamis will understand. Your health is much more important right now."
"But–"
"No buts and no more talking! Your sore throat might get worse!" Tikki scolded. Marinette pouted, but Tikki's voice demanded no more arguements. Instead, she pulled the thick blanket over her head in surrender.
"Stupid flu. Stupid fever. Stupid germ akuma making me sick." She muttered under her breath. Tikki sighed.
'Beep beep.' Her phone sounded, nearly startling the teen out of her own body.
Marinette groaned, "Of course. The day I'm sick, and Hawkmoth decides to terrorize Paris." Marinette weakly removed the blanket from her body, biting her lip to ignore the ache.
Tikki put her hand on Marinette's forehead, "You're not transforming."
"But Ladybug–" Cough, cough. Marinette covered her mouth, the onslaught of vigorous coughs attacked her throat.
"We'll find another solution." The kwami insisted, forcing Marinette back onto the blankets.
Knock knock. Tikki gasped, before swiftly hiding inside Marinette's hair.
"Dumpling, your classmate Felix is here to visit you!" Sabine's voice called out before the sound of retreating footfalls eased their worries.
"Marinette, may I come in? An Akuma attacked and we were let home early." Felix's sentence was muffled through the door.
Tikki hid a smirk, "I may have an idea."
"Tikki, no!" Marinette choked.
-----
"So I just say 'Spots on', correct?" Felix swiftly slid the second ladybug earring into his left ear.
"Yep!" Tikki nodded.
Felix sighed, "Alright. I've probably kept the cat waiting for far too long." he cleared his throat.
Marinette sniffled, "I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Felix." A guilty frown etched it's way onto her face.
His gaze softened, "It's fine, Marinette. Just promise to stay in bed and get better? It would ease the most of my worries." Felix assured her.
"Thanks, Fé." Marinette smiled.
"There's no problem." Felix said. Gripping his tie, he sucked a breath,"It's now or never, Tikki."
"Spots on."
-----
Felix's day could not get any stranger.
Well, 'strange' is relative when your city is targeted by a terrorist on the daily, but that's besides the point.
For one, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was absent today. The lack of her presence alone meant his day was missing the color and liveliness it usually had. His other classmates seemed to have missed her as well. After all, the absence of the Class Representative meant that no one would mediate between classroom disagreements (which unfortunately happened much more often than what Felix deemed normal). As much as Rossi tried to capitalize on these issues, like hell could such a selfish girl handle a responsibility like leadership, as she only succeeded in making the issues worse.
Next was a rather strange akuma attack. In the middle of a class discussion, while Felix was oh so peacefully taking down notes for a certain lunette, when his handiwork was suddenly trampled by, no joke, a hundred or so cats.
And then he pieced it all together.
'Marinette was sick. Thus, Ladybug is also sick. There are thousands of cats running madly around Paris. Oh, sh–'
And so he booked it out of the school to Tom and Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.
Where upon arriving into Marinette's room, he was given the responsibility of becoming a kwami-damned superhero.
And now, he was here on a stranger's rooftop, overlooking cats of all things, running feral around the city. With Chat Noir looking at him like he killed his puppy.
"Who are you?" The black-clad superhero warily asked, donning a defensive stance with his baton shielding him.
Felix cleared his throat, "Erm, I haven't really thought of a name for myself yet. But I am supposed to be Ladybug's substitute today."
"Substitute? Why would she need a substitute?" Confusion practically swirled in Chat's eyes.
"Ladybug is awfully ill due to the previous akuma, so she enlisted my assistance until she recovers." Felix tried his best to explain, but he couldn't help but dread the hero's reaction.
"Wait, she asked for your help? You know her civilian identity?!" He burst out, Chat held a tone of betrayal in his voice. Felix fought a wince.
"Yes, I do."
"So let me get this straight. Apparently, M'Lady is sick today and trusted you enough to let you know her secret identity and let you be ladybug for a day?" Every emphasis was coated in disbelief; disbelief that Ladybug had trusted someone else over her own partner.
"You are correct." Felix sighed.
Chat Noir huffed, "Isn't that hypocritical? I mean, she did say that no one could know our secret identities."
"Apparently, I'm an exception." Felix forced himself to say. He couldn't disclose his circumstances anyway.
Chat laughed dryly, "Yeah. Of course you are." he bitterly said.
A period of awkward silence followed after.
"A-anyway, we better go before that akuma hits more people." Chat inhaled. Felix could tell that the hero already didn't like him.
"Agreed."
-----
"I am Little Feline! Cats are getting mistreated by you inconsiderate scum! This is their retribution!" The Akuma was a little girl, Felix assumed. A little girl who was concerned for a few cats, and yet Hawkmoth still decided to use her.
This only reinforced Felix's opinion that yes, Hawkmoth is scum.
"She isn't particularly powerful. She just has a lot of cats surrounding her. Hawkmoth is getting less creative it seems." Chat Noir said, and Felix honestly agreed. They were currently hiding behind quite a large billboard, overlooking the truly staggering amount of cats surrounding the akuma.
"I can see that. It seems her scratch turns civilians into cats." Felix added, darting around to find the source of the power.
"So we should just not get scratched then?"
"It seems that way." Felix clicked his tongue.
"Hey, word of advice." Chat started, "You should probably use Lucky Charm right about now."
"Oh, right." Felix felt his face heat up, "Lucky charm!" Felix held out his hand, and caught the handle of something.
A magnifying glass.
It was a magnifying glass.
"A magnifying glass? How is this supposed to help us?" Felix combed a hand through his hair in exasperation.
Chat awkwardly smiled, "Yeah, Lucky charm does that."
Now how the hell to use this. Felix stared at the object in his hands. How would Marinette use something like this? The sun shone behind them, casting a shadow on the Akuma's fleet of felines.
Felix turned his back to the board. He held the glass by the handle and put it up to the sky right above his face.
The light almost hit his eye.
"Ah!" Stupid, stupid Felix.
"Are you alright?" Chat blinked at him.
"I think." Felix groaned.
He paused.
Wait. That's it.
Felix stared at the glass.
"Chat Noir, I have a plan."
-----
The plan was a bit convoluted, but alas, it did just the trick. Making use of the billboard casting a shadow over the cats, Felix used the magnifying glass to direct a beam of light to distract the horde away from the girl. Chat Noir figured that the akuma was in the gloves that the akuma used to turn people into cats, so he used the opportunity to use cataclysm on the claws while she was distracted.
How did Marinette deal with all of this?
Felix watched the white Butterfly fly away, relieved that all of this was over.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" He threw the magnifying glass to the sky, watching with awe as it transformed into glowing ladybugs that swept through Paris as a miraculous cure.
His earrings started beeping.
"I guess this is my cue to leave. Thank you, Chat Noir." Felix offered a handshake.
"You're welcome." The hero reluctantly smiled and returned his gesture.
A familiar voice gasped, "Wait! Wait a minute!" She ran to them, a phone recording in her hand.
Alya Cesaire.
"I'm afraid I must go before I detransform. Chat Noir will answer all of your questions." Felix clasped the yoyo, about to zip away if not for his classmate putting a hand on his forearm.
"Just one question, please!" She pleaded.
Felix sighed, "I suppose–"
Alya almost squealed, cutting him off. "Thank you! So what do we call you?!"
Felix paused for a moment,
"Call me Cerberus." he finally said.
-----
"Cerberus, huh." Marinette rasped.
Felix groaned, "It was on a whim."
"Uhuh, sure. Because you totally didn't know that there's a chance that Cerberus means 'Spotted' in Greek."
He frowned, "I will not confirm, nor deny your suspicions."
"Oh, don't you know that the Latin for Cerberus can also mean clouds?" Despite her sickness, Marinette still loved to tease him. No matter the circumstances.
"Shut up, Dupain-Cheng."
Marinette cackled, "Oh wouldn't you like that, Fluffy."
-----
I shouldn't be up at 11:30 in the night because school resumes tomorrow. But eh, screw it.

Prompt
B is A's clone. They were created by C and the antagonists and are being used and manipulated to achieve some nefarious goal.
A feels responsible for them and guilty for not being able to protect them. They want to rescue B or help them somehow because the poor thing is pure and sweet and completely ignorant of the danger surrounding them.
Here's some food for thought:
a) The antagonists don't have to be actual villains; they can be the "good guys TM" who aren't that good.
b) What if A was a double agent? Or they're being held hostage by the antagonists? Or they betrayed/ are planning to betray the antagonists? Or maybe C and A were close before things went bad (and maybe they ended up on opposite sides)?
c) What if... B is younger? Like, Kid!A but they're actually their clone? Overprotectiveness increases.
d) What if A and C are ex-lovers? And C is crazy and still obsessive about them, so... they're kinda using B as a proxy? (This would be really creepy if c) happened too)

Note: Inspired by that one dream I had where Félix was the original Agreste kid and Adrien is a sentimonster created as his copy and Félix kinda feels responsible for him?

Chapter 3: Kindred Spirits Always Find A Way To Assemble
•—–—–†–—–—•
Time: 5:30am
location: Louvre
Ladybug, Abeille, Bunnyx, Trickster, and Chat Noir are fighting an akuma, not anything major, just Mr. Pigeon and his pigeons trying to melt the Louvre with deadly acidic bird dropings, so yeah, nothing major. Just another early bird gets the akuma kinda day...
"Looks like the early bird is trying to melt the Louvre, what say you M'lady, shall we make this swift and- *Loud sneeze* Let me now *sneeze* when I'm *sneeze* needed" - Chat Noir
"For to long our kind has been oppressed, they feed us miserable seeds, when we beg for bread, we shall show them no mercy, as our justice shall be swift!" picks up two pigeons, holds them by their legs and aims the rear cannons "Surrender your Miraculous and your justice shall be swift and painless!!" with an evil villain laugh at the end bla bla bla.
" Anyone else getting Pigeon (French) Revolution vibes? No? just me? Cause I swear he said seeds instead of cake."
"Not the time Bunnyx." - Abeille
"Oh it so Is The Time." - Bunnyx
"Off with Mr. Pigeon Antoinette's Akumatized object!" - Chat Noir from a distance.
"Viva La Revolution!!!" - Trickster
"Dear Kwami, how did it come to a frickin Pigeon Revolution?!" - Ladybug
As the last line is said, Mr. Pigeon fires the -ehem- cannons at the heroes, only for them to be an illusion. In the confusion Bunnyx pops out of her burrow and wacks Mr. Pigeon on the head, effectively knocking him out.
"The Pigeon Revolution is over, we have taken back our home, and shall continue to defend it from the creepy Man of MOTH!!!!" - Bunnyx
and with that Bunnyx brakes the Akumatized object, and Ladybug purifies the akuma.
"Ok, I will admit that last speach was funny, now lets hurry back before hells bells go off." - Ladybug
•~—~—~—~—~—~—~•
" Bla bla bla, nothing important, bla bla bla bla, yada yada yada bla yada." - Mrs. Bustier
"'Viva La Revolution', that was perfect." - Whispering Alix
"It just came to me, but Chats 'Off with Mr. Pigeon Antoinette's Akumatized object' line and your 'Man of Moth' speech were really well timed !" -whispering Peter
"well of course, I'm always punctual with any time sensitive joke/pun." -whispering Alix
"Will you to zip it! we can't have these simpletons finding anything out!" -whispering Chloé
"Please, they all share a broken defective regect of a brain cell, I doubt they could ever put two and two together." -whispering Alix
"Hey, do you think we should start a protest in our classroom?" -whispering Peter
"... Viva.La.Revolution!" - whispering Chloé with a mischievous grin
"No." - Maria
•~—~—~—~ Later when Mrs. Bustier is out of class ~—~—~—~•
"I just don't know what to do." - Lie-la
" You think she finally realized how horrible that hair style is?" - Alix
"After visiting Gotham a few months ago I met Damian Wayne, you might've heard about him, he's just so amazing, kind-hearted, and brave. We had a wonderful time, but then he asked me out! And I don't want to hurt Parkers feelings, I care for both of them!" - Lie-la
"Man, she must be extremely full of it to keep pulling that sh-t out of her @ss every hour or so." - Alix
"Wow Peter, didn't know your cared for Ms. Rossi like that" - Chloé said in a sarcastic tone.
" I'd rather strap her to a supersonic rocket heading for a black hole, and I'm pretty sure this Damian Wayne would do the same... he probably has the money for it actually." - Peter
" Enough plotting, we still need to get enough money, if we want that summer trip, we've already crossed off: Baking sales, becoming a mime, jobs are out unless they're fine with you leaving right after joining, and we can't just ask for donations." - Maria
" I can use my MDC mon-" - Maria
"Oh hell no you won't! You worked your butt off to get that money, you said it yourself! That money is for when you apply to college! I refuse to let you waste your money on our ignoramus classmates!" - Chloé
Thankfully by now everyone was out of the classroom.
" Oh Kwami she's serious, she never uses her big words!" - Adrien
" Then what do you suggest Chloé?" - Maria
" I'll ask daddy to pay!" - Chloé
" I can also ask my father, he'll probably do it if Mr. Bourgeois puts in a donation." - Adrien
" But- " - Maria
" No! The decision is final all in agreement say aye!" - Chloé
"Aye!" - Everyone
"You've watched to many movies Chloé, fine, but please don't drastically overdo it." - Maria
" When have I ever drastically overdone something? Name one time." - Chloé
"Well, there was the time you over did it, by not sleeping for almost three weeks." - Maria
" and after that you got so fed up with one akuma that you kicked him with the force of a thousand suns down unda, you may have scared him for life after that honestly. " - Adrien
" Oh! or the time you went overboard with Peters B-day, and the cake landed on his face! - Alix
"Well in her defense, the cake was great, but it was kinda a mouthful." -Peter
"... I said name one time. (ー_ー)" - Chloé
•~—~—~—~—~—~—~•
Sooo, after all that happened Mr. Bourgeois, Fallowed by Gabriel Agreste, gave a very generous donation, so that solves that problem. And since I'm sure you don't want to see (More Lies) boring stuff, lets skip to two days before the trip begins.
〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜time skip " You're welcome, I'm here all eternity." - Bunnyx〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
•—–· At Chloés Hotel ·–—•
"Ok are we sure we have everything?" - Maria
" Yes now can we please watch something already, we've triple, and even quadruple checked everything, we're good." - Alix
" I have to go out and inform Tempête and Vipère, before anything else, be back soon." - Maria then heads out calling upon the other heroes.
" So what do you need?" - Vipère
" Do you have a top secret mission for us?" - Tempête
" For the summer Abeille, Bunnyx, Trickster, and Chat Noir will be unavailable, unless they are truly needed, I however will be able to travel back and forth via portals for fights. Paris will be in your care while we aren't here." - Ladybug
"It is our honor, we shall defend Paris with our lives." - Tempête
" Agreed, enjoy your summer." - Vipère
"Thank you, stay safe."  and with that Maria headed back to the hotel prepared to watch movies, only to be bombarded with questions as soon as she got back.
" HOLD UP! You know MAGIC?!" - Alix
" When were you going to tell us?!" - Chloé
"So cool, how does it work?" - Peter
" Can you teach us?!" - Adrien
" Spots-Off, yes I know magic, I swear I've told you before. Do you want a demonstration?" - Maria
They all shook their heads excitedly.
" Ok well, I'm able to Heal myself if I get hurt, but I don't wish to hurt myself just for that, I can also increase my Luck with magic, as well as Communicate/ Manipulate plants, and see peoples Souls, thanks to Tikki. I learned Protection magic thanks to Wayzz, and Illusion magic thank  to Trixx. I'm also learning Teleportation from Kaalki, which I've almost completed, and Mutitude from Mullo, which still needs work." - Maria
" If you can really talk to plants, what did we do earlier while you where out, hmmmmm?" - Alix
Maria then walks over to the roses near the couch and whispers to them, after a moment she turns back to her friends, and calmly says "Traitors."
" What do you mean?" - Peter
" You continued watching Star Wars: Clone Wars Without me!" - Maria
" Ok we believe you, but does this mean we can also use magic?" - Adrien
"Hmmm, let me see" as she says this her eyes start to glow an almost ethereal icy blue.
" Why are you eyes glowing?" - Chloé
"Looking at you souls... ok" she then claps her hands and her eyes go back to normal "Adrien, you can use slight Destruction magic on objects, if you use it on a person it would just cause them extreme pain, you can also cast Bad Luck on someone, so I guess thats good, and you can also learn slight Jubilation magic. Peter you can learn Illusion, and Protection magic. Chloé you can Learn Subjection, and Multiplication magic. And Alix, you can learn Evolution, Intuition, and Teleportation magic." As Maria finished, she saw the star struck looks in their eyes at the thought of learning magic became obtainable for them.
"Teach us!" they all bowed only to get a laugh from Maria in response.
"You would have to ask the Kwamis that, I only know what I know thanks to them." - Maria
And for most of the night they all started practicing magic. And when they woke up, they continued to practice, they had fun and were really enjoying it.
Then came the day Maria and her friends were to head for Gotham, and it was hectic, but everyone made it in one piece after an 8 hour flight, which at this point Maria was glad she sent all of her important luggage ahead of time, because somehow her luggage with only her toiletries and pyjamas was stolen, so all she had now was her back pack on her and the Miracle box in a Pocket dimension (thanks to the training from Fluff and Kaalki)
Lila was annoyed, when Maria didn't even care that she lost her bag with all her stuff (jokes on you she sent that one to the hotel 2 days ago HA!) they ended up checking into the hotel, everyone was with someone, Peter was with Adrien, Chloé was with Alix, and Maria... just had the Kwamis, yup that's right, apparently Lila has a condition that prevents her from being in any room below a quality vip room, so now she was upgrade and without a roommate, good for Lila, and Lucky for Maira, because now she doesn't have to worry about someone noticing her climbing out the window to go free-running across rooftops as Multimouce.
Around 7:30 pm. everyone heads out for lunch... and they leave Maria behind.
"Of course this happens." and with that she asked the receptionist for the directions to where her class went, afterwards she went out and proceeded to get lost, after trying to retrace her steps, she just got lost quicker, and her phone was at 20% what luck.
After walking for a little bit, she had decided to take a break, and as she leaned up against a wall, she closed her eyes.
'Maybe if I search for the receptionists Soul I can find my way back.' as she was doing this, she saw souls of all colors walking by, she even noticed a dark emerald green soul, and a dark blue soul across the street on a rooftop... and then she felt her hair stand on end, a few feet to her right was a bloody rust looking soul, she could tell it was a male, late 20s, average build, and 5'11, he was targeting her. As she opened her eyes  she did a quick scan of her seroundings, noticing an alley, she started to walk again. Sensing the slight increase in speed from the man now behind her, as he got closer, she made a sharp left into the alley, she made it a few feet in before the man started laughing and walking closer, she saw the disgusting look in his eyes, and the outline of a gun in his front left pocket.
"Come on now girlie,  I just wanna talk."
" I am good thankz." she made sure to add an accent to make him feel like he had an upper hand, which seemed to work, if his sickening smile was anything to go off of.
He stepped closer and Maria (the little genius she was) decided to act nervous, which only lowered the guys gaurd even more, once he reached to grab her in a quick motion she proceeded to do this.
Tumblr media
She held the guy in a lock until he fell unconscious. As she stood up, she noticed a hand reaching for her, she then grabbed the hand and flipped the figure over her shoulder hard, hearing a yelp from the man as she did so.
When she realized who she had flipped over, her face turned bright red
"Mon dieu, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you are you ok Monsieur Nightwing?!"
"Yeah I'm fine and don't apologize, reflexes like that are key to survival here in Gotham, isn't that right Robin.... Robin?"
When Nightwing didn't get any sound from Robin he looked over to see the boy a blushing mess, then Robin snaped out of it, cuffing the mugger, and turning his attention to the girl.
" Ehem. Mam it's dangerous to be out here at this time alone, please allow us to take you wherever you need to go." - Robin
"Oh thank you um, do you know where Wayne Hotel is? I was supposed to go with my class to dinner, but they... “forgot” me, I decided to try and meet up with them, but I failed horribly." - Maria
"Wait they just left you? and in Gothan of all cities?! What kind of teacher does that?!" - Nightwing
" An instegator." - Maria said under her breath in French, she didn't notice the slight shock on both their faces from what she said.
"Anyway lets get you to your hotel before it gets any later." - Nightwing
"Thank you again." - Maria
She arrived safely, thanks to Nightwing and Robin, she thanked them one more time and went inside, when she got to her room she found her friends pacing back and forth in the room, Chloé and Peter looking like they would soon become two people on a mission to find her, but thankfully she was back, she of course had to answer alot of questions, but that was no big deal. After answering all their questions, everyone went to their rooms, and fell asleep, they had a big day tomorrow afterall... ... and then Marias' Akuma alert went off, ok so it took about thirty minutes to defeated the akuma 2 more before she could cure anything and another 5 minutes before she could head back to her room, and it was now 2am, but she could still wake up early right? hehe (・–・;) right?
No, the answer was no she couldn't, well technically she was up on time for when the bus "should" have started getting ready to leave, BUT turns out Lila SOMEHOW, managed to get everyone on board without even thinking of her an hour early! Maria asked for directions once again, and the receptionist had a worried and apologetic look on her face, Maria thanked her again, and headed out, this time however, she made it without getting lost and without getting mugged, Yay! She even had enough time to get a coffe (Tim special was a wierd name but oh well it did the job pretty well) from a shop near by (double yay!) before entering the WE building.
" You have to start the tour! we've been here for an hour and thirty minutes already!" - Ms. Bustier
"Like I said before, I will not start the tour until your student gets back, and if they don't get back, then we better hope nothing happened to them, or else it's your fault for your negligence." - Tour guide
"Sorry I'm late, the bus left earlier than what we scheduled, why didn't you inform me about the change?" - Maira
"Lila said you were the one who made the changes and that you were just trying to get attention, I am VERY disappointed in you Maria, now apologize to your class for delaying the tour!" - Ms Bustier
"I think you mean “I'm sorry we left you behind in a city where murder happens to young kids on a daily basis” now you apologize to Your student that is Your responsibility." - Tour Guide with a glare that could kill a thousand armys
Ms. Bustier proceeded to apologise to half the class's disbelief.
"Alright then, now that thats all taken care of, Hello and welcome to Wayne Enterprise, where we focus on making Gotham and the world a better place. I'm Dick Grayson, and I'll be you tour guide for today."
As the tour went on Maria stood at the front with her friends, she took notes of everything that was said, and she ignored whatever nonsense Lila was spouting, somthing about saving or dating Damian Wayne, she didn't really care.
When the lunch break came, she sat with her friends until she needed a long overdo refill on her coffee, she walked over to the coffee machine and started figuring what combination will keep her brain working for the rest of the day.
"Press button 3 followed by 5, 6, 8, 1, 2, 4, 9, and 7, that is the ultimate coffee mixture, if your mortal self is up for the challenge." - Sleep deprived guy
"I accepte." she presses the buttons in the exact order and then " Wait none of the cups are big enough."
"Here, secrect cup, from beyond the mortal realm." - Sleep deprived guy
" Thanks" she grapped the very large cup, and filled it with coffee till it was almost to the rim, she put the lid on and instantly took a big sip from the scolding hot coffee (she can heal, her tongue's fiiiiiiine)
"... Not bad, taste similar to the Tim Special I had earlier, but maybe a bit stronger." - Maria
" Kindred Spirit, let us be friends, you have drank the sacred coffee and are now immortal, congrats." - Sleep deprived guy
"It was not easy, but I have come this far, and I shall go the distance with nothing but coffee in my veins." Maria said in a serious tone as they shook hands "I am Maria, keeper of all nighters, and who might you be, my kindred spirit."
"I am Tim, the keeper of sacred coffee and all that is unholy."
"It was an honor to meet you Sacred Tim, may the coffee gods guide you in your journey, sadly we must part ways, for the lunch break is over, farewell..." and with that Maria left to rejoin the group.
"Dear god where the hell did you get that much coffee?!" - Chloé
"Kindred Spirits always find a way to assemble." - Maria
"Huh, so there is someone out there who is also a sleep deprived child." - Alix
The tour continued, and Maria noticed their tour guide kept looking at her with growing concern as she slowly made her way through the lovely coffee, she finished the cup within 1 hour and 30 minutes, and most of the staff kept looking at her as she now held the empty unholy cup, that was said to put people (that weren't chosen by the coffee gods) into caffeine induced commas, but she was fine, if anything she was more awake than yesterday and today combined. So yeah Today had a rocky start, but I'd say things are only just beginning.

realizing that Lila is Literally if Marinette was written with more honestly blew my mind like granted i don't think it was that intentional with the writers but it makes so much sense They are Two sides of the same Coin except one is more romentacized and loved while the other is ironically the ugly truth and despised
Yeah.
I think Lila is supposed to be foil to Marinette and show like, what if Marinette wasn't good and instead of just lying because she has to as a superhero, she lies for clout and what if instead of letting Adrien think her gift was from his dad because she just wants him to be happy, she harrassed him and went behind his back to get around his boundaries because she feels entitled to him?
Only problem is umm... Marinette does lie to cover her ass, get people to like her and get closer to Adrien. And she is sneaky and harrasses him via stalker behaviour. Oops?
Marinette is this underdog who didn't get along with everyone in class at first and spent seasons building friendships to become their "everyday Ladybug". And she gets recognised by celebrities because she really is talented at designing/etc. Lila contrasts by taking a shortcut to achieve the same (and threaten to take it away from Marinette) by lying. And I think Lila's crush on Adrien is supposed to be shallow to contrast Marinette falling for him because he's nice. So I feel like they're kinda not supposed to be as similar as they really are..? But I almost can't tell.
Like maybe in a better show this would be the point. Marinette would get angry over Lila's behaviour and when another character would point out that she acts the same way, she'd be offended but then realise they're right. She'd wonder if Adrien and Kagami feel the same way about her that she and Adrien feel about Lila. She'd be embarrassed and try to change. Remember in Mean Girls when Aaron tells Cady she's "just like a clone of Regina"? It's devastating for her but we, the audience, know at this point that he's right.
But in Miraculous Ladybug we see Marinette shown as flawed and learn lessons all the time, some of them about the crappy things she does for love, like pretending to be friends with Kagami to sabotage her - she learns to give her a chance. Volpina has her realise she was wrong to humiliate Lila the way she did. But a lot of her behaviour is swept under the rug... Even with those two examples, she still guilt trips Kagami about asking Adrien out in the finale, and she still tries to expose Lila in Chameleon. She stammers and giggles so we know she's just being cute and quirky while she lies and sniffs Adrien's pillow! Sometimes Alya criticises her but it's light hearted and she just as often encourages her. Lila on the other hand scowls and she's got sinister them music while she lies and snoops through Adrien's room. Plagg, Tikki and Adrien say she's doing wrong while they only ever praise Marinette... Everyone agrees that Marinette is creepy in Puppeteer 2 right? Adrien is surprised she kisses him but he doesn't act uncomfortable or say it crossed a line, and Tikki encourages her to keep pursuing him when Marinette thinks of giving up.
So I can easily imagine the show having Marinette realise she's very similar to Lila... But I also can't at the same time because I can't imagine them suddenly wanting to hold her accountable for her behaviour. Marinette's obsession with Adrien is just portrayed as cartoonish comic relief, it's over the top and silly and Adrien himself doesn't mind... But Lila's existence invalidates all that because her very similar behaviour is taken seriously and yeah ironically, she is portrayed honestly. The message ends up being that Lila's behaviour is not okay... Unless you're awkward and really want people to like you and you and your crush are soulmates of course! I'm not at all saying Lila isn't bad, she is. I just really wish the heroic lead set a better example... It's good that she's flawed, but these aren't flaws with negative consequences that make her re-evaluate her values, they're just quirks.

Even More Awesome
Prompt: Try Everything
Request: Adrien/Multimouse
Rating: E
Read on Ao3
Adrien’s stamina was, in a word, insane.
Cats had nine lives, after all, and that meant after using the Cat Miraculous for years, Adrien could last for nine ‘little deaths’.
Marinette’s Miraculous gave her no such similar stamina. She tried her best to keep up with Adrien, but she was sore and worn out too soon.
Adrien usually finished himself off with his hand, but Marinette felt bad about that. She wanted to be enough for him. But no one woman could possibly be enough!
So when Marinette told Adrien she had a surprise for him, in that tone of voice that implied a sexy surprise, he was excited, but part of him was also already disappointed. Every other time she’d tried this, she still couldn’t last long enough for him, and he ended up fucking his hand. Again.
But—this was Marinette, his Lady. He wanted to trust her.
So he headed to their bedroom when he arrived home. Through the closed door, he could hear Marinette talking to someone, and another girl’s voice giggling. He pulled open the door to see—Marinette, Marinette, and Marinette.
Or rather, Multimice. Three of them, their hair all done in mouse ear buns, nude except for their masks and the necklace the original one wore. Two of them were passionately kissing each other as the third stroked her hands along her sides. She glanced up with a smile. “Hi, Adrien.”
“H-hi,” he replied, the blood rushing to his dick so fast he felt dizzy. “You’re—wow.”
“I’ve been practicing using Multitude,” she said, standing from the bed as one of her clones started to grope the breasts of the other, causing her to softly moan. “I can hang onto three indefinitely now…and I might be small, but I’m still big enough to handle my kitty…”
“Fuck,” Adrien swore, practically ripping his shirt in his haste to disrobe. “Marinette, I—wow. This is for me?”
She nodded. “Take me till I’m worn out, Adrien…and then take me again and again.”
His pants were gone, and he wrapped his arms around the petite girl, lifting her so she could wrap her legs around his torso as she kissed him hungrily. Her torso was much shorter than his, so her pussy rested against his stomach, just barely trapping the tip of his cock between them. He could feel just how wet she was, and he couldn’t wait to satisfy her. All of her.
“What do you want?” Multimouse murmured into his ear. “All of this, all of us, are for you.”
“Can I use your mouth?” he asked. “You’re so good with your tongue, Princess…”
“Of course,” she said with a smile. “Bring me back to the bed?”
He kissed her neck, making her softly moan and even squeak as he carried her the few steps to the bed. He gently set her down on the mattress as the other two Multimice crawled towards him, smiling and doing that little excited butt wiggle he loved so much.
The first Multimouse opened her mouth, taking in as much of Adrien’s cock as she could. Her smaller size meant she was gagging when she was halfway down his shaft, so the other two happily took care of the rest by kissing his shaft, his balls, letting their tongues trail along his skin, one softly sucking his balls. The mice let their tongues and lips meet, making out with each other with Adrien’s cock trapped between them.
It was so many tongues, so warm and soft and wet, that Adrien was groaning as he let his hands idly play with each girl’s hair. “F-fuck, Marinette, I’m going to—”
She pulled back and smiled before placing a soft kiss to the tip of his cock. He groaned as he came, cum splattering along her lips, her chest. The other two Multimice pounced on her, giggling as they pushed her to the mattress and licked her clean, making a show of enjoying the taste of Adrien.
He watched the two gorgeous asses wiggling before him, two beautiful pink pussies open and wet for him, and he couldn’t help but grab one of the Multimice by her hips and press his still-hard cock against her. She moaned and pressed back against him, quickly turning so she was facing him. “Me first?” she asked with a shy smile.
Adrien just wordlessly nodded. He sat on the bed and Multimouse quickly straddled his lap, easily lowering herself onto his cock. She gasped as she settled onto him completely, her head just coming up to his chest.
“You feel so much bigger like this!” she cried. “It’s so good, Adrien…”
“And you’re so cute like this,” he murmured, his hands holding her waist, wrapping around her completely. “I just want to kiss you all over!”
“Adrien!” she cried, laughing as he showered the top of her head with soft kisses. Her laughing quickly turned into gasping moans as he moved his hips, thrusting up into her rapidly. “Oh, god, Adrien, don’t stop…”
The other two moved to either side of him, kissing his cheeks. He turned to kiss them softly, one after the other, his pace never slowing as he fucked the girl on his lap.
“Dibs on him next!” the Multimouse on his left cried, as the one riding his cock had her voice dissolve into the most adorable squeaky moans.
“He’s supposed to decide!” the Multimouse on his right replied, her face twisted into a pout. Adrien couldn’t stop himself from cupping that cute little face in his hands and kissing her as his second orgasm hit, filling up Multimouse with a low groan.
He gently pushed back the girl from his lap, letting her fall on the bed. He turned to the right and murmured, “Can you clean her up for me, my little mouse?”
She smiled and moved between her copy’s legs, eagerly licking her own pussy, her tongue catching Adrien’s cum that leaked out of her.
“You,” Adrien said, turning to his left. “Can you grab the lube and prepare your pretty ass for me?”
Her eyes widened, but she smiled and nodded, reaching over to the nightstand to grab their trusty bottle of lube. Adrien sat back and watched as she slicked up her fingers before pushing them in her ass, slowly fingering herself as she moaned softly.
They’d done anal a few times, but it was definitely not Marinette’s favorite thing. He was a little worried about hurting her when she was so much smaller than normal, so as he lined himself up with her ass, he pushed into her so incredibly slowly.
His cock was barely in her when he realized that she was too tight like this. He pulled back, his hands gently holding her hips as he readjusted and slid into her pussy in one swift move.
“A-Adrien!” she cried. “I could have—ahh!—handled it…”
“I don’t want to hurt you,” he murmured, giving her a soft kiss on the back of her neck. “Besides, there’s something new I want to try in this position.” He settled back onto his knees and lifted Multimouse, sliding her along his cock as though she were a toy for him to use. The soft squeaks of pleasure she made as he slammed her down against his cock just added to the overwhelming sensation he felt as he fucked her.
“Ah—ah, Adrien!” she moaned, her pussy clenching impossibly tight around him as she came. His own orgasm followed, and he held her tight against him as he spilled into her.
“Oh, Adrien,” the other two Multimice chorused. He turned to see the two doubles lying one on top of the other, their legs both spread wide, their pussies pressed together, both glistening wet as the two girls giggled and kissed each other. “Come fuck us, Adrien!”
“I will as soon as you stop doing the creepy double voice thing,” he responded, moving over to them. He pushed his cock between their bodies, sliding against both their pussies at once. They moaned, wriggling and kissing each other, providing plenty of friction for him to fuck.
“Damn, I am hot,” the third Multimouse said, watching them from beside the bed. “Let me clean them up, I want to know what it’s like to taste myself!”
Adrien’s cock was slick now from the Multimice and the multiple loads of cum he’d released. He easily slid it along the Multimice bodies as he fucked them both, enjoying their moans of pleasure—but the visual of a third mouse eating out the other two was what pushed him over the edge, spilling white onto their stomachs.
“You should relax,” one of the Multimice said, gently pushing Adrien to lie on his back. “We want a turn to take care of you.”
She was licking her copy’s stomach, cleaning her skin of cum as the third moved to straddle Adrien’s face. His view was blocked suddenly by pussy, practically begging him to lick, suck, taste her. So he did, eagerly pressing his mouth against his girlfriend’s slit, his tongue working tirelessly against her.
He felt two sets of hands grasp his cock, slowly pumping along his shaft. He lowered his hands from the one mouse’s hips to his sides, and felt two more needy pussies rub against his fingers, inviting him to push his fingers inside them and rub against swollen clits.
He was more than happy to let them use him for a while, especially as a third pair of hands were on his cock, all three working together to milk him, make him come again.
He took a breath of air as Multimouse moved from his face, and was greeted with the sight of the other two playfully swiping their fingers through his latest load of cum that had landed on one of their chests.
He hadn’t had a cum fetish before, but the view of his beautiful girlfriend covered in his release, marked as his…he was starting to see the appeal.
“Me next!” one of them cried out eagerly, moving to straddle his face. He obediently got to work, flicking his tongue against her clit, exploring her folds with his mouth. He tasted traces of himself alongside the delectable taste of Marinette, and was so lost in it that he almost didn’t notice another girl lowering herself onto his cock.
He did notice two tongues joining the tight cunt in pleasuring him, one above his shaft, one below. The feeling of fucking his amazing girlfriend while she sucked his balls the way he liked was one he would never forget—it was enough to make him come twice in a row, the girls eagerly licking as his first release dripped out of her pussy.
The three moved away from him then, giggling as they locked eyes with each other, each having that face that meant Marinette had a devious plan.
“I got the lube,” one said, grabbing the discarded bottle.
“And I have the toy!”
The one with the bottle tossed it to herself, just out of Adrien’s sight. She then lay back on the bed with her legs spread and murmured, “Will you please fuck me, kitty?”
He was all to eager to push his cock into her, kneeling over her as he fucked her hard, enjoying the squeaking moans she made. He groaned as he suddenly felt slim fingers at his ass, lubing him up.
“So that’s the toy you meant?” he asked, as another Multimouse pushed his favorite dildo inside him. “You know me so well, Princess.”
It was a heady rush, fucking his girlfriend while she also fucked him, being surrounded by her scent, the soft feeling of her body against his. All he could feel was Marinette and he couldn’t ask for anything better.
The dildo angled just right to make him see stars as he groaned and came in Multimouse. Cum leaked out of her, around his cock as he pulled out, smiling at the sight of his cock-drunk girlfriend lying addled on the bed.
“You’ve got one left, right?” another Multimouse asked, reaching out to grab his hand as one pulled the dildo out of his ass. “You haven’t finished in me yet…”
He grinned at her. “Yeah, I can go again. You want to ride?”
“Yes please,” she said with a cheeky smile. Adrien laid on his back, his hands guiding her to straddle him.
“God, I love you,” he murmured as she sank down onto him with a moan. “You’re the best, Marinette, Marinette…”
“Adrien,” she moaned softly. “I love you so much…”
“I love you,” another Multimouse echoed, resting her hand on his chest and murmuring in his ear.
“Oh, Adrien,” the third said, kissing his forehead as she cuddled close to him. “My Adrien…”
Adrien smiled, completely surrounded by his girlfriend’s soft words and soft kisses as he slowly fucked her, taking his time and enjoying this last round before he was finally fully satisfied. It didn’t take long for him to reach orgasm, releasing into Multimouse while the other two kissed his cheeks, his neck.
She moved off of him and the three coalesced back into one Multimouse, lying beside Adrien with a wide smile on her face. “So—how was it?”
“Amazing,” he murmured. “Thank you.”
“I—I can’t do that every time,” she warned. “But, uh, sometimes?”
He kissed her gently, shifting to move his arms around her. “Every time with you is amazing, Marinette. You don’t have to worry about getting me off.”
Her cheeks pinked. “Um—it was a lot of fun for me too, I think—I’d like to do it again.”
“Well in that case, yes, please.”
Marinette laughed as she cuddled close to her boyfriend, intending to relax with him in bed for the rest of the night.

In Other Magic, I wonder if Wayhem might be a doppleganger. It'd explain why he's basically Adrien's clone.
Nah, he’s just a creepy fan
He’s been shown to actually have brown hair
He just dyed it

Sandboy Scenario
A Different Scenario in Sandboy where Multiple Fans also had Nightmares of Adrien like Marinette’s dream
After smashing the prison bars in his bedroom, Chat Noir jumped out of the Agreste Mansion to find where the akuma was. He jumps to a nearby rooftop to check it out, but hears someone scream.
“Adrien!” They cried.
Chat Noir, confused, turned to find the one calling his name. He found part of the problem beside him. “What the … ” He whispered, eyes wide. Below him was a demonic looking clone of his civilian self.
With more and more parisians fleeing their homes, multiple Adriens began to run out the doors. Chat Noir watched as the city below him filled with different clones and scared Parisians.
“I will never lo-ove y-you … ”
“I’m too famous for you!”
“How could I l-like someone I don’t kno-ow?” One crawled into the street. “I’ve never noticed you.”
They all spoke creepily while they chased the citizens.
“Oh no, Plagg, what happened?!” Chat Noir panicked, putting his hands on the sides of his head. “Did I do something wrong?”
Looking down at almost 12 Adriens in the streets, Chat Noir backed up to the other edge of the building. He turned around to see even more of them. One girl screamed as another demonic figure of him crawled out of one of his perfume ads, looking like a scene from the ring.
“It’s like an apocalypse” Chat Noir slid his hands down to his cheeks. “Of me!”
“Adrien … oh no!” The girl shouted, taking steps backwards. The clone slowly came towards her, twitching and fidgeting. “Go away. Get away!” She screamed.
“No, no, no.” Chat shook his head. “Make it stop! Please, make it stop!”
Later that Night:
“Ugh.” Adrien shuddered. “Glad that’s all over.”
Plagg laughed. “Why, because of all those Adriens everywhere?”
“Yes! They were so weird and creepy. There were so many of them.” Adrien fell back on his bed with a sigh. “Why so many of them?” He looked disgusted.
“I guess that’s the price of being a celebrity.” Plagg grinned. “You are the nightmare of a thousand teenage girls.”
Adrien glared up at the floating kwami before groaning as he buried his face in his pillow.

A Mile In Her Shoes
When an Akuma causes her to swap bodies with someone else, Marinette wonders how she will keep her identity as Ladybug secret.
Turns out, that's the least of her problems.
(Warning Rated this Teen because while usually I ignore swearing, there’s some mentioning of creepiness that can happen during body swap shenanigans.)
Read on Ao3
Another day, another Akuma. Marinette wasn’t quite sure what had set off this kid, but it had to have happened in the middle of the school lunch break. Great.
She got up and ran to find a place to hide and transform, swearing under her breath and shoving the rest of her lunch in her mouth as she did, since she wouldn’t get another chance to eat if classes resumed. Whenever an Akuma hit the school during class, it was always a toss up on whether or not they were supposed to go back to class or go home, but she didn’t want to take the chance.
As she ran, she saw some students get zapped by the Akuma’s Magic, but didn’t focus long enough to see what the effects were. Thankfully most had taken cover under tables, but she didn’t worry too much. She had to leave, because whatever that Magic could do might keep Ladybug from saving them.
She neared the door, but so did someone else. There was a glow of purple, a change in the air pressure that she easily recognized as Magic. And of course it was heading for the blonde in front of her.
Cursing her Hero nature, she forced herself to run faster. She leaped forward, tackling the blonde through the door and rolling them both into the hall. Unfortunately, judging by the electric tingling she felt make the hairs on her arms stand up, she hadn’t been quick enough.
As the pair disentangled themselves, thankful for the empty hall as that would be embarrassing no matter what position they landed in, Marinette tried to see what the blast had done to her. It seemed okay, she looked normal. It wasn’t like she had been transformed into some themed minion or a replica of the Akuma.
That’s when it hit her. She looked normal. She looked normal. Marientte could see herself, all of her, as a separate person. Since there were still only the two of them in the hall, it couldn’t be a clone, which left one possibility.
               Body Swap Akuma.
Despite a small amount of fear growing, she double checked and looked at the body she could see, the one she was in. Yeah, that was all too familiar, but not her familiar. She watched herself, the one in her body, go through the same realization.
"Are you fucking kidding me?” she demanded.
“Come on, it’s not that bad,” Marinette countered.
“Yes,” she agreed, pinching the bridge of her nose before glaring back at the door to shout. “I can handle a body swap, but why Marinette of all people?!”
“I’m not that happy about it either, Chloé,” she sighed, standing up and offering a hand. “Come on, we need to get out of here.”
Chloé glared, but the sound of another blast from the room behind them convinced her otherwise. With a dramatic sigh, she took Marinette’s hand, getting up somewhat unstably. Perhaps it was just getting used to the different body. As Marinette looked down at Chloé, or rather at herself, she realized they did have a good few inches of height difference.
Marinette decided it would be a good idea to run off, and dragged Chloé with her. Despite her verbal protests, she didn’t stop her. Even when she said to go down a different hall, Chloé didn’t pull her that way, instead just letting herself be dragged along.
That was odd. Marinette knew she was far stronger than Chloé, and that strength should stay with her body. Okay, they’d never tested their strength like Alix and Kim would have, but Marinette knew their strengths.
Last year, Chloé would’ve had the advantage. Not only because of their size difference, but because everyone knows she’s been in martial arts classes for years. She said it was only because the Mayor’s daughter should know how to defend herself, but Adrien had let slip that she actually had a lot of fun when they sparred.
Now, however, Marinette was Ladybug. Sure, the transformation gave her a lot more strength, but she was still doing all of that running, jumping, swinging, and everything else. It built up a good amount of muscle for her civilian self, and burned a hell of a lot of calories, which made her glad she lived in a bakery. But while she might not have Ladybug’s full strength, Marinette knew she could easily lift more than people expected from her.
Marinette stopped, realizing that while she wanted to get Chloé, along with her own body, to safety, she still needed to be Ladybug. She could easily get away from her, but Chloé was in her body. Her body that was currently wearing the Ladybug Miraculous and had Tikki in the purse over her shoulder.
“Are you done dragging me around?” Chloé demanded, yanking her arm out of Marinette’s grip.
“You could’ve gotten away at any time,” Marinette retorted.
“You think I didn’t try?” she snapped. “I’ve been digging my heels into the ground this whole damn time! But you just pulled me along like a fucking dog sled team! I couldn’t-”
Chloé stopped talking, eyes wide with realization. Next thing she knew, she was checking out the bottoms of Marinette’s shoes. Frowning and running her thumb along the sole, she looked back up at her.
“Oh my stars,” Chloé gasped. “That’s why you trip all the time! I thought you were just that clumsy! To be fair, you’re still far more clumsy than normal-”
               “Hey!” Marinette protested.
“But your shoes are so worn!” she complained, ignoring the protest. “There’s no traction at all! It’s like your walking on fucking banana peels all the time!”
“They’re not that bad,” she said, pouting more than protesting now.
“Hold that thought and watch this,” she said, holding up a hand.
Before Marinette could ask what she was doing, Chloé began to walk off. No, she slid off. Her feet never left the ground, but she moved forward, sliding on the ground. It almost looked like how Alix skates, pushing and sliding without truly leaving the ground.
She made a lap down the hall and back, easily sliding to a stop in front of Marinette. She then gestured to the hall, pointing out the whole bewildering display.
“The hell was that?” Marinette asked.
“Listen,” Chloé said. “When you’re a kid whose bedroom is a full Luxury Hotel Suite that includes a large section of tile, you master the art of sock skating. Your shoes have so little traction that I can use them for sock skating!”
“Okay… maybe you do have a point,” she relented.
“Why though?” she wondered. “First off, these flats seem like the sole’s traction would’ve worn off within a few weeks, and I’m surprised they’re not worn through. Why haven’t you gotten a new pair?”
“Not all of us can randomly drop money on shoes, Chloé,” she glared.
“I’ll give you that one,” she said, her expression somewhere between sheepish and biting back an insult. “But you aren’t that poor.”
“No, but other things take priority,” she said. “Sure, I slip a bit more often, but they still function as shoes, so I’ll buy things I do need instead.”
Chloé’s expression was difficult to read. Partly because it was a gambit of expressions and gestures as if she were arguing back and forth, and partly because they were still body swapped. Marinette was too entranced in seeing her own face make those expressions to attempt to interpret them. Huh, she really did have more freckles than she thought.
Finally, Chloé took a breath. Calming herself, she seemed to come to a decision.
“Give me my purse,” Chloé said, holding out her hand.
“What?” Marinette asked, slipping the bag off her shoulder anyway.
“We’re going shopping,” she said, already digging through the purse. “You need new shoes.”
“You’re going to buy me shoes?” she raised an eyebrow. “I know we switched bodies, but did you switch twice with someone who actually likes me?”
“Yeah yeah,” she rolled her eyes. “Look, Adrien wants me to be nicer to you people, and these shoes are a health hazard. One of these days you’re going to slip and either take out a bystander, or fall down the stairs. And as much as we don’t get along, I don’t want you dead. So damn it I’m buying you shoes.”
“There’s an Akuma rampaging and you want to go on a-,” she stopped, realizing it could help her. “Fine. Go on the shopping trip. But I’m staying here, or maybe somewhere safer if that Akuma wanders off.”
“Okay,” she shrugged. “Makes it easier for me, because you’d probably complain about something. Don’t worry, I know your style enough to pick something you’d like, but you’d continue on the whole ‘you don’t have to buy me things’ rant and I really don’t want to hear it.”
“Alright,” she nodded. “Meet me back here though. And give me my purse and my earrings.”
“I get the purse, but why the earrings?” she wondered, already taking the small purse of her shoulder.
“They’re… important to me,” she said. “I don’t want them getting lost.”
I can understand that,” she nodded. “But I don’t think even you can lose my shoes, so I’ll trust you with them.”
As Chloé took the earrings out of her ears, Marinette’s ears, there was a different expression. It wasn’t one she could quite place, but it was an expression that made her bite her tongue on the curiosity of why Chloé’s shoes were important.
Chloé handed her the items, then quickly made her way down the hall. The moment she was around the corner, Marinette let out a sigh of relief. Even Tikki floated out of the purse to check on her.
               “This is weird,” Tikki said.
“Yeah,” Marinette nodded, already putting the Miraculous in Chloé’s ears. “Being bodyswapped won’t affect anything, will it?”
“I don’t think so, but we haven’t tried it before,” she said. “At worst your costume design might change.”
“Great,” she grumbled, finishing the second earring. “Tikki, Transform Me!”
There was the familiar flash of pink, and all to exciting rush of Magic energy. It seemed to work, and as Marinette opened her eyes, she saw that Tikki had been right. The costume had changed a litle.
She was still, thankfully, in the usual bodysuit, but the pattern had changed a bit. The top began off with solid black, going down her arms and becoming the usual red spotted with black after the elbow, making it look like gloves. As for her chest, well, it seemed like the red was in a sweetheart neckline style. Turning, she could see that in the back the red began just under her shoulder blades, making her feel even more like she was wearing the red over the black.
The other two spots of black felt more like black over red. One was at her waist, a shallow v over her hips. It looked like a belt, but wasn’t actually a belt. And then everything below her knees was black, like boots.
There were only two changes to the physical design instead of the pattern. Firstly that her neckline, the actual neckline from the black part and not the false neckline of the red, was a lot lower. Instead of covering her entire neck, it was just low enough to show off her collarbone. The other change was the ‘boots’ of the suit now had heels. Not much, but just a little extra height.
“Okay, weird,” Ladybug sighed, reaching for her yo-yo. “I’ll think about that later.”
It didn’t take her long to get to the Akuma. The kid had made his way out of the school and a bit into the city. She followed, realizing exactly how much time she’d wasted with Chloé.
“Glad to have you, Bugaboo,” a voice said. “Thought I’d never get to see your….. Uh, you got hit, didn’t you?”
“That obvious?” Ladybug rolled her eyes and turned to look at him.
Only to not look at ‘him’. While the voice had told her that Chat had gotten bodyswapped too, she didn’t expect to see how much that changed him.
First off, Chat had switched with a girl. Hopefully he had already gone through that existential crisis, or was compartmentalizing and saving it for later. ‘He’ had pink hair, messier than his usual style.  He was also a good bit shorter than her, probably shorter than Marinette’s real body too.
His costume had changed too. His gloves were the same, as were the boots and cat ears. The mask seemed to be the same too, but the eyes were a bit more blue, probably reflecting the eyes of whoever he was swapped with. Everything else had changed  good bit. He had a shallow v-neck tank top, with a high-collared vest over it, which seemed redundant. Instead of he tight suit he had a pair of loose shorts that reached his knees. There was also a second belt, kind of. It seemed like the belts crossed in an X pattern in front, but joined at the back to create the usual tail. All of it also had a bit more decoration, the shirt and a few bits of decorative piping over the vest and shorts in Chat’s usual bright green. She really tried hard not to laugh at the fact that the bell zipper had become an actual collar with a bell.
“Yeah, I know,” Chat sighed. “Unexpected, but I still look hella cool.”
“If you say so,” Ladybug rolled her eyes.
“Come on, I look great!” he insisted. “I’m so good, I can look like someone else and still look amazing.”
“You look like someone’s Kingdom Hearts OC,” she retorted.
“Maybe a bit,” he frowned, glancing to the belts. “Wait, you’re a Kingdom Hearts fan?”
“Focus, kit-kat,” she said. “We have an Akuma to fight.”
“I know,” he said, easily following as she leaped to the next building. “You seem mad. Is this because I didn’t say you’re still pretty as someone else too?”
“No it’s not,” she rolled her eyes and trying not to think of how late to the fight she was.
“Well, uh,” he began. “You- you might not pull off the ‘I still look amazing as someone else’ thing like I do, but you’re…. Objectively still pretty?”
“Blondes not your type?” she teased.
“Not exactly the problem,” he said, voice a little strained. “You just… right now you really look like a friend of mine who is practically my sister. So even though I know you’re you, making some flirty line feels like flirting with her, which feels a bit too creepy.”
“Ah,” she nodded. “Well, at least that should keep you from flirting through the whole fight.”
With Chat pouting a little more, both jumped in to fight the Akuma.
Chloé was really late. The fight had been over all too soon, but Marinette had quickly realized a problem. If she used her power to fix everything, it would be hard to keep her identity secret, not to mention Chat’s identity. After all, if everyone went back into their own bodies the moment she fixed it, Chloé and whoever Chat had swapped with would suddenly be in the middle of the city as Ladybug and Chat Noir.
It would be pretty hard to convince Chloé that she wasn’t Ladybug if that happened. So she decided to wait in the hall where they decided to meet. But it took far too long for Chloé to return. What could she possibly be doing? If it took her this long to get back from a shoe shop, she was glad she’d decided to wait at the school instead of switching back elsewhere. She’d probbly get lost.
Finally, she saw Chloé turning the corner. Technically she saw herself turning the corner, but not the point. Her grip tightened around the battle’s Lucky Charm, a jump rope.
She’d already talked it over with Tikki. As long as she still had the Lucky Charm, Tikki could use her own energy to do the ‘fix everything’ spell, leaving Marinette to be in her civilian form when she and Chloé switched back. Though she’d owe the Kwami a lot more cookies than usual.
Whispering the words from the spell, she felt the jump rope dissolve in her hand. It was disorienting, switching back, suddenly seeing the hall from a different view and feeling the weight of several shopping bags in her arms. Even so, it felt good to be her again.
“No wonder you took so long,” Marinette said, dropping the bags at Chloé’s feet. “You were buying a pair of shoes, not going off on a full spree.”
“I had time to kill and money to spend,” she Chloé shrugged, returning the purse and earrings. “Besides, it was interesting testing out things I’d never wear.”
“What do you mean things you’d never wear?” she raised an eyebrow.
“First off, our personal styles are different,” she said, gesturing to all of Marinette’s outfit. “Secondly, we have different skintones and hair colors, so there are colors I wouldn't usually wear that are good on you. So I might've gotten lost testing out all of the styles and colors and....Well, look on the bright side! I managed to find you a pair of flats that look almost identical to your death traps, but much higher quality! So, you know, it’ll take a lot longer to get to the sliding phase, and if I’m around for it I’m smacking some sense into you so you get a new pair.”
“Yeah yeah,” she rolled her eyes, putting the earrings back in their proper place. “Just tell me which bag is mine so we can get back to class.”
“Well…” she said a little sheepishly. “They’re all yours?”
“What the hell do you mean ‘they’re all mine’?” she demanded.
“As I said, I had time to kill, money to spend, and something interesting to work with,” she said. “So I ended up buying a lot of things. And none of them are my size since, you know, I was trying them on as you so…”
“So you went from buying me one pair of shoes to all this?” she exclaimed, gesturing at the bags. “And considering where you shop, that had to be a lot of money you just dropped. You don’t even like me!”
“I’m trying to be better about that?” she said. “Mostly for Adrien, because he wants me to be nicer to you and possibly get along. Well, he thinks we could be 'the best of friends', but considering our history I think we'll only make it to 'civil' without weird bonging experiences. And this wasn’t planned as a ‘by your affection’ thing, I just got caught up in what looks good on you because… okay, I know I’ve said a lot of insults in the past, but you are actually really cute, so my confidence in knowing I look good combined with being in your body, which I already mentioned I could try a lot of different things in, made me go a bit overboard."
“A bit?” she said. “There’s twelve damn bags here, and they’re all full! How overboard-?”
“A few pairs of shoes, including the flats,” she listed. “It’s mostly sets of tops, pants or skirts, and jackets, most can be mixed and matched with each other and with the shoes. A couple dresses, ranging from ‘simple’ to ‘datenight’ to ‘formal’ and one for ‘that kind of datenight’. And… and a few matching underwear sets?”
“Wait, stop,” she held up her hands and tried not to glare. “Please tell me that you bought based on the size I was wearing and you didn’t actually try them on!”
Chloé didn’t answer, or look her in the face. That only caused Marinette’s own face to become a shade that would match another ‘signature outfit’ of hers.
“That is kind of an invasion of privacy!” Marinette said, reigning in the need to scream.
“Well, I had to make sure they fit,” she said. “And we’re both girls anyway, so it's not like I'd have seen anything new. If it helps, I did kind of realize half-way into trying on the first dress that it might be creepy, so I kept my eyes closed while changing.
“Even when you tried on the underwear sets?” she demanded, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
“Kind of?” she admitted with a minor blush. “Okay, so, technically, yes, I did see your body in underwear. But I’ve seen you in a two-piece swimsuit before, so I didn’t see anything more just now than I did back then, so I still haven’t seen you totally naked. And again, I’m a girl too, so it’s not like I would've seen something that I haven't seen.”
“Rationally, that’s a good argument,” she gave an angry sigh. “But it still feels a little violating.”
“Again, sorry, didn’t think,” she said, looking to the floor. “I’d offer to let you return the offense, but we already switched back, and saying ‘would it make you feel better to see me in my underwear’ sounds even creepier than what I did in the first place. Like a skeevy way to ask you out.”
“This day is weird,” she shook her head. “Body switching, you not only being a little nice to me, but going way overboard and accidentally creepy. How about we ignore that last part and get back to class?”
“I think that’s for the best,” she agreed.
Since they’d spent so much time talking, most people were back to class. A handful were still missing, but they were quickly showing back up. Of course the Akuma was up for discussion, though most of the focus was on bodyswap shenanigans. Who swapped with who and what they tried out.
Marinette and Chloé did get a few looks as they walked in, mostly because they did it without fighting. As usual, she looked to Adrien’s seat. He seemed a bit nervous, staring at the door. He was aware enough to wave at the two of them, but obviously waiting for someone else. Dropping the shopping bags beside her desk, Marinette was about to ask who Adrien was waiting for when Alya took her attention.
“What’s with the haul?” Alya asked.
               “Chloé-” Marinette began
“I have no self control when it comes to shopping,” Chloé admitted, leaning on Adrien's desk with a dramatic exasperated sigh.
               “But why-?” Alya began.
               “Hey!”
Another voice cut her off. This one belonged to Alix, who was just walking into the room. Actually, she was sprinting into the room, slamming her hands on Adrien’s desk. She was panting heavily, as if she'd been running for a while.
“What the fuck man?!” Alix demanded.
               “Sorry?” Adrien offered.
“What’s going on?” Marinette asked, already up and ready to diffuse the situation.
“This fucker,” Alix glared at Adrien. “We get bodyswapped, and at first that’s fine. Kinda weird being a guy, but whatever. We agreed that we didn’t have to stick together or anything, so I went off to the gym to hang there until we switch back. But when I do switch back, I’m on Mari’s roof!”
               “I’m sorry?” Adrien repeated.
“What were you doing on my roof?”Marinette wondered.
“Uh, well, I was in the area because I was hungry,” he said nervously. “Had a craving for those cheese danish things at your shop. And, er, the Akuma wandered the same way, but Chat Noir picked me up and put me up there because it was safer, but I guess he detransformed before coming back to get me down?”
“I bet Chat picking you up would be ridiculous,” Chloé deadpanned.
“Well, technically, he picked up ‘Alix’,” he corrected. “Again, sorry about that. But I wasn’t sure how to get down. I didn't want to risk climbing down the building, especially in a body I wasn't used to. And the other option was to go through the trapdoor into Marinette's room and through her house. But I don't know her parents well enough to know if they'd be okay with me, or you, walking through their house after inviting myself through their daughter's balcony.
“Fine,” Alix sighed, calming down a lot. “Mari's family knows me well enough that I just walked on down and said ‘Akuma shenanigans’, and they nodded before offering an apology cookie. Oh, here’s your ring back, by the way.”
“Why does she have your ring?” Alya asked.
“He wanted it when we were switched,” she replied, pulling the silver ring off her finger. “Don’t care why, so I traded it for the combo to his gym locker and the permission to switch outfits so I didn't get his pretty clothes all sweaty.”
“You were okay with her changing outfits in your body?” Marinette raised an eyebrow at Adrien. “Isn’t that a little…”
“I thought we agreed not to discuss this,” Chloé muttered.
“Yeah?” Adrien answered, a little scared of Marinette’s apprehension. “Does it sound weird to say ‘I’m used to it’? I mean, modeling career and all. You know the fashion world. A lot of people work for my dad, and they all like taking their own measurements, so every time I go for a fitting I'm in my underwear. And switching outfits between photo shoots and especially during fashion shows doesn’t leave much room for being shy. I don't care about people seeing me in only underwear. ”
“Exactly,” Alix nodded. “I just got dressed. It’s not like I looked beneath the boxers. Not that I needed to. When you bodyswitch with another gender, you're far too aware about that.”
“Now it's a little creepy,” Adrien said. "But yeah, you're right about being very aware of that difference."
“Hold up,” Alya said. “While I’d love to keep going on this discussion of where the ‘creepy’ line is when bodyswapped and undressing- stars that sounded creepy on its own. Anyway, how’d you keep the ring on your hand?”
               “Huh?” Alix wondered.
“Adrien’s ring,” she clarified. “His hands are a lot bigger than yours. How’d that thing not slip off our hand on the way over? I could get if when Adrien was in your body he was overly aware and making sure it doesn’t slip off, but you were pissed and probably didn’t remember until just now. How’d it not fall off?”
Alix looked down to the ring she still held, then to Adrien’s hands. Face turning to a thoughtful frown, she slipped the ring back on her hand, flexing her fingers. Without warning, she flung out her arm and shook her hand around. Yet the ring stayed on.
“It fits fine,” Alix said, still frowning as she took it off. “Perfect, actually. Ad, you usually wear it on the right ring finger, right?”
               “Yeah…” Adrien answered hesitantly.
Despite Adrien trying to pull away, Alix grabbed his right hand and compared it to hers, focusing on the finger he’d worn the ring on. When you looked close, you could see the difference between their hands, how a ring in her size would never fit him. Yet when she slipped it onto his finger, it fit just as perfectly, not even getting caught on a knuckle.
“That’s weird, right?” Marinette said, mostly to confirm that she wasn’t going crazy.
“Very,” Alix nodded, still staring at Adrien’s hand.
“Kinda odd,” Chloé agreed. “But considering everything else, who cares?”
“What do you mean who cares?” Alya demanded. “This is interesting! A ring that fits whoever wears it!”
“Well, yeah,” she nodded. “But, well, call them 'Superheroes' and 'Supervillains' all we want, we do have a world where Magical Beings regularly battle one another with their 'spells'. It makes sense that there’s more Magic items out there. Ad just happened to find a ring that fits whoever puts it on. It’s not like he can blast light beams or something.”
“Not a Planeteer then?” Alix laughed. “You've got a point though. One of my ancestors from the 1800s made a pocket watch that displays a hologram, so Magic rings aren't that strange. So, you know he and I switched, who’d you switch with?”
“Aurore,” Alya groaned. “She’s sweet, but it’s hard to do the Ladyblog report with her wanting to help. I mean, I’m both Cameraman and Reporter, but she wanted to do the reporting too, and let’s just say that someone should get that girl her own cameraman. She argued that since I'm 'the face of the Ladyblog', then the one who has 'my face' should be reporting.”
“Chloé and I switched,” Marinette admitted.
“Is that why you were carrying in the bags?” she asked. “Wait, hadn’t you already switch back.”
“I bought them, but they’re all for her because I have no self control,” Chloé said.
               “Why?” Alix asked.
“Her regular shoes are why she trips all the time,” she answered. “They have no traction. They’re sock skating level slippery.”
“Seriously?” Alya groaned, giving Marinette an incredulous look. “That’s why-ugh.”
“I know, right?” she rolled her eyes. “I went to just get her a better pair of shoes so that she wouldn’t end up slipping and dying, but-”
“But you and shopping is a slippery slope?” Adrien offered.
They all groaned at the pun, while the punmaster himself cackled.
“So if she went shopping, what’d you do?” Alya asked, changing the subject to Marinette.
“Oh, uh, nothing really,” Marinette answered, rubbing the back of her neck. “I mean, I was bodyswapped with Chloé and didn't want to go shopping with her, what else could I do, right?”
Alya, Alix and Chloé shrugged it off, letting the four girls go to other subjects. Yet Adrien stayed on it, certain gears in his head turning. Marinette didn’t notice the realization on his face, or when his eyes flicked from Chloé to Marinette's earrings while he turned the ring on his finger. And most unfortunately, she didn’t notice the calm yet giddy smile that replaced his surprise, and the look in his eyes as she laughed at something he'd stopped hearing long ago.

ME Asks: 15, 18, 27, & 30 :)
thanks dustie!!!
mass effect ask prompts
15.Who should’ve been a romance option?
humm hmm hrmm. i would’ve loved a chance to romance edi tbh….. her and joker are cute too but she’s just so cute i wanna smooch her 😭😭😭
18.Character you really dislike?
i think we’re all aware of how much i hate timmy so BESIDES THE DIRTY BROTHER-KILLER……. i honestly really, really hate maya brooks, at least as a person. as a character and an antagonist?? fan-fucking-tastic. best surprise villain in the whole series tbh. i was watching a yt clickbait on “top 10 most surprising video game betrayals” and they named timmy but not maya and i was fucking FLOORED, like cmon they spent the entirety of me2 telling you timmy couldn’t be trusted TO YOUR FACE but maya??? i was fucking shook to the core, i never would’ve seen it coming, INCREDIBLE villain writing.
but as a person?? she’s really creepy, and manipulative, and the implications behind her backstory with the clone sends up all kinds of red flags for me. she’s a terrible person and i hate her and i hate that the fandom is so intent on woobifying her cause she freaks me out!!!!!
27.Worst moment in the games?
i honestly have so much trouble playing me1 cause everything that happens to saren makes me so sad……. also tarquin’s death is Awful, i always postpone it as long as i feel like i can justify, and then when you talk to adrien later and basically rub his face in it it’s even more upsetting
30.Something you disliked about ME/ME2/ME3?
ok lemme think……
i always have a hard time making myself get started in me1 cause the prologue drags so bad, i mean it drags in all the games but because of me1′s engine and how the maps work in it the dragging feels 100x worse……. there’s also a major problem with the conflict being forced, like a lot of stuff if you think about it for a few minutes the problem could easily be solved in like a minute instead of a three-hour-long mission :/
admittedly my favorite part of me2 also contributes to my least favorite, which is that a lot of it can feel very…. padding-y at times. like i love doing loyalty missions, but at the same time sometimes you just wanna Get Fuckin Going yknow??
in me3 i really hate how basically all of the authority figures are written to just get in your way and be frustrating so shepard can swoop in and be the Big Goddamn Hero who Gets Shit Done, not like those Big Dumb Babies in charge who just want to Argue all day. the council?? fools. quarian admirals?? fools. military leaders?? fools. like even though a lot of them do have a legitimate point, and a lot of times what you’re asking them to do really is beyond the scope of their power, they’re written as just obstructive assholes and it’s so FRUSTRATING cause i just want to tell them i understand!!!! i don’t want to yell at them and tell them they’re stupid i want to fucking compromise!!!!

Salty Asks:
1: What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*
Umm…..well, Dipper X Pacifica from Gravity Falls is obviously one, a second one would be Raven Queen X Apple White from Ever After High and a third one cause it’d take forever to list them here, would be Leo X Karai from TMNT 2012- like, the first one cause really, they 12-13 and its just a typical boy x girl thing really, the second one cause the pair always seemed to have toxic implications- i.e. Apple always trying to force Raven into her destiny, helping Raven fight against it AND THEN GOING BACK TO FORCING RAVEN INTO DESTINY, and three: Um….they pretty much siblings? That should be a obvious: WTF Ship, considering at first it was they adopted siblings, and now its the fact that in some sense, the turtles are half-genetic clones of Splinter due to his DNA playing a part of them being what they were and therefore, Leo is Karai’s half brother in some sense- seriously- its a bit obvious to not ship incest at this point and yet….
4: Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*
Besides a certain SW ship that has the most worst shippers yet and happens to be a ship of abuse and everything toxic? April X Donnie from TMNT 2012- Leori while I do dislike, was not slapped all over the show- this ship though, it was everywhere! Anytime we got some sweep Capril moments, it was cut short because apparently, we need some Donnie X April shippers claiming they canon- and yes, its a sadly popular ship that disliking it means you receive some hate when doing it. The shippers were just too annoying for me now and then to the point innocent ship tags like Raphril would get annoying posts about them not being canon- like, we get it! Your friggin cannon sadly!
I think its the fandom that ruined it mostly- the show just increased it worser and worser when it was clear Donnie needed to be fucking told that stalking a girl is not cute and that its creepy and concerning, let alone just focusing on her looks in the first place and honestly, he does know anytime she walks past he doesn’t need to try and impress her? I don’t know….the ship was just a little crush that was just….bad- and the shippers just made it equally worse.
12: Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
Hmm….not that I know off? I mean, maybe in Miraculous at this point we got the arc of Chloe possibly turning good soon, Adrien and his father arc and Mari learning about the miraculous’ from Master Fu- I think the third one is kinda disliked and I don’t know why? While yes, we need Adrien too soon learn too from Fu: we gotta point out something: Tikki had no choice but to take Mari to Fu cause of the book and Mari as a result start learning about the miraculous- Plagg has no reason to do the same with Adrien yet- besides, with the idea Mari hands out the miraculous’ to Nino, Chloe and Alya to be heroes, im pretty sure Marinette needs to know all she can when choosing the wielders- its not really over yet, but personally, im enjoying it, and looking forward to Chloe’s arc next really….

Felix doesn't have "Vacations"
Felinette November Day 4; Vacation
It's late, sorry.
So I had a vague idea of what to do, but it went off the rails real quick. I'm not proud of the ending, but I'll live.
I couldn't finish this yesterday because of well, school. So I'll probably do a double update one of these days to catch up on schedule.
-----
Felix Agreste is endearing.
Semestral break crept up on Felix like a fox stalking an unsuspecting prey; slow and steady before pouncing on him with a hectic onslaught of extracurricular activities on his schedule.
Felix would say he was merely inconvenienced by the numerous 'hobbies' his mother had requested him to partake in, but that didn't mean he wasn't overwhelmed by her overeager plans.
The timetable was light in his hands, though it honestly seemed to weigh him down with every task that was printed on the pristine, white paper. Felix scanned the letters in disdain, a faint throbbing started to grow at the back of his head.
A modeling gig on Monday, followed by a violin recital on Tuesday. Wednesday entails a whole day rehearsal with the local Chamber Orchestra, and we are set to perform on Friday at night. I have to assist with the fencing classes on Thursday, and another modeling event on Friday afternoon before the performance. Add my daily study sessions and the projects I have to finish into the mix, and I'm positive that this is impossible to achieve.
Felix bit back a groan. He knew how awfully ambitious his mother could get, but even he had to admit that this was edging on to overkill at this point. The thought of Monday alone l was enough to drown his mind with poisonous dread– draining Felix of the motivation that he tried desperately to keep. It didn't help that these kinds of events were already preplanned appointments, locking Felix out of any opportunity to just *ditch* them in favor of laying on his bed with an absurd amount of sweets. Felix pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering words of frustration under his breath.
"Grumpy today, aren't we. What's on your mind?" The familiar voice rang clear, the scent of freshly baked bread tickled his nose. Felix looked up to meet cheeky, bluebell eyes staring back. Marinette smiled at him, a tray of freshly baked croissants in her hands.
Felix inhaled the aroma, savoring the phantom taste of croissants on his tongue. He sighed, reaching out for a croissant. "Keen-eyed as ever, Dupain-Cheng." Felix quickly retracted his arm when Marinette slapped it away.
"Not until you tell me why you're grumbling over there." She set the tray on the table, and with a swift movement, plopped down on the seat in front of Felix.
"My mother gave me my schedule for the week today. And because it's semestral break, she took extra care to make my vacation, and I quote, productive." Felix emphasized his point with air quotes, handing the paper to Marinette. "And as much as it is a nuisance, her overeager involvement in my extracurricular activities is barely an uncommon occurence."
Marinette winced, "Wow. This is overkill. Is this even a vacation anymore?"
"It's an eyesore." Felix grumbled, taking a croissant from the tray. The pastry broke easily in his mouth. Flaky and crisp, it melted into raw happiness on his tongue.
Marinette giggled, "Well, best of luck to you. I bet you can't even survive 'til next week without me." she challenged.
Felix clicked his tongue, "Oh, please. I may have a hectic schedule, but it's still a vacation from seeing you tripping on air every five minutes." he rolled his eyes, taking another bite of his croissant.
Marinette stuck out her tongue, "Maybe so. But admit it, you can't live without me for a whole week." she said as she took a croissant for herself
"Keep on dreaming, Dupain-Cheng. I can survive very well without your cheeky comments." Felix scoffed, only to recieve Marinette's smug smirk in return.
"We'll see, Agreste." She giggled, "We'll see."
-----
Marinette didn't like liars. In fact, she openly despised them.
Perhaps her hatred for untruths stemmed from her strong sense of justice; a trait that, although it was already prominent in her life before Ladybug, was carefully nurtured and encouraged by Tikki to the point that it was nearly a fault. Marinette wouldn't have it any other way.
Yes, she may lie on a semi-regular basis, but it was only always when she needed to get away to transform into Paris' superhero, Ladybug. Marinette hated lying almost as she hated liars themselves. And so when she came to the conclusion that she loved teasing Felix Agreste, who was she to deny the truth? Denying it would've made her as bad as Lila Rossi, and Marinette absolutely refused to be likened to that witch.
She couldn't help herself. Felix was the stereotypical 'Ice King' at surface level: cold, reserved, and refused to show any weakness at all costs. So seeing his pale cheeks rapidly color a shade of pink, and him trying so desperately and failing to fight the flush everytime that she jested and poked fun at his little quirks, – It was not only hilarious, but outright endearing.
Felix Agreste is endearing.
Last week was no different.
Felix arrived earlier than usual at the bakery. Hell, she had only woken up about thirty minutes prior to her Papa announcing that a friend was asking for her downstairs. Marinette scrambled to make herself presentable, and went downstairs rather chaotically with a few fresh bruises on her ankles. Armed with a tray of freshly baked croissants, she scurried to their usual table only to see Felix looking awfully grumpy in his seat — well, grumpier than he usually was. Marinette may be a sometimes most of the time, tripping over her feet and bumping into random objects. But make no mistake, that despite all her shortcomings, she was observant. Observant enough to notice the frustration that shaped Felix's frown and his troubled countenance as he bit down on his lip. She had noticed his narrowed eyes, scrunched up nose and the way his fists tightly clenched the paper he glared at so furiously.
And so she greeted him heartily, hiding her concern when she asked why he looked so glum.
Apparently, his mother had filled his whole week with events. A photoshoot here, a rehearsal there, it all seemed so taxing. Felix had claimed that his mother was merely 'overeager', and that he had survived such schedules multiple times in his past. Marinette would've voiced her opinion of his mother expecting too much from him, but she ultimately decided to bite back her assumptions until after she had actually met Ms. Agreste. Instead, she did the best she could to lift his spirits with a few innocent jokes.
When he left, she made sure to give him a bag full of sweet pastries to lighten his mood. She knew how that boy loved sugar.
She continued to send some pastries to him everyday, with little cheeky notes sneakily attached to the inside of the paper bags. Macarons, pain au chocolats, croissants, cookies and even straight up chocolate arrived to his doorstep every morning. Yes, every morning. Marinette had forced herself to wake up every Seven AM just to make the poor boy some sweets. Tikki teased her about it for hours.
Maman and Papa are rubbing off on her.
Nevertheless, she just wished that Felix wouldn't get hospitalized over exhaustion. Actually, Marinette prayed that he would be alive on their next Sunday Afternoon meetup.
Which was today.
Felix entered the bakery with a subtle skip in his step, gray eyes frantically scanning the whole room in search of something.
Of someone.
When Felix finally met her gaze, Marinette could've sworn that *relief* flickered in his eyes.
The boy walked hastily to their table, sitting across Marinette,
"A bit enthusiastic today, are you?Welcome back." Marinette handed him a cup of hot chocolate.
He took the cup, and nodded. Now that was strange, Marinette thought. She was so used to him having witty comebacks for her every bite. Why was Felix acting so bashful?
"Thank you for the pastries." He finally said, his voice was slow and uncertain.
"You're welcome! It's no problem at all!"
"..."
He was silent again.
"Hey, Fé. Is something wrong?" Marinette asked him gently. Her worry grew every second that Felix maintained his averted gaze.
She frowned. Did he have a fever? If he did, then he shouldn't have come here! Marinette reached over the table to put her hand on Felix's forehead.
Felix drew back in surprise, pink started to appear on the skin of his neck up to his cheeks.
"Do you have a fever, Fé?
Felix forced a scoff, "I... am perfectly fine, Dupain-Cheng."
She deadpanned, "It doesn't look like it."
"W-well, I am." Did Felix just stutter?
"Then why weren't you answering me?" Marinette frowned. Felix being unsure of himself was strange.
A guilty look flashed on Felix's expression, "... My apologies, Marinette. I was simply... panicked because of our previous conversation."
Marinette's eyes widened, "Oh my God."
"Yes, I– what?"
"You actually used my name!" She squealed, a grin stretching across her lips.
"I..." He trailed off, the pink on his skin grew a few shades darker.
Marinette gaped. Felix Agreste; Resident Salt King, honor student, overachiever, sharp-tongued, cool and collected Felix Agreste, was right in front of her with no witty comeback, as red as a tomato, avoiding her eyes and pouting? In what world?!
Then it hit her.
Felix was pouting.
She cackled. Uncontrollably cackled.
Oh my gosh, that's adorable.
"Pfft, Ahaha! Y-you should see your f-face!" Marinette wheezed, clutching her stomach in laughter.
Felix sat in front of her, his face was all red.
She gasped for breath, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Marinette wiped a tear. She cleared her throat, "Why were you worried?"
Felix took a deep breath, "Through a number of contemplations, as well as evidence of a few peculiar moments in the week, I have deducted that you were correct in your prediction." Felix sped through his sentence.
"Uhm, what?" Marinette could barely understand his overly convoluted words; he was more verbose than usual, an air of uncharacteristic awkwardness surrounded him.
"AllthroughouttheweekIfeltthattherewasalwayssomethinglackinginmyeverydaylifeIhadnoonetotalktoandgivemewittyremarksandthiscausedmetobescoldedsomanytimesbecauseIkeptspacingoutand—" Marinette's eyes widened.
"Felix, slow down!"
"Idon'tknowwhatI'mfeelingbecauseI'vebeverreallyhadarelationshipwithanyoneaboveacquaintancesandIdon'tevenknowifyouconsidermeafriendand–"
Marinette stood up and pinched his cheek.
"Felix! Calm. Down!" She cried. Felix snapped out of his wordy breakdown.
"Apologies." Felix cleared his throat.
He was worried about a previous conversation they had? She was correct in her predictions? What in the world–
Oh. Marinette thought back on their last meetup.
Ohhh.
"Wait. Are you saying that you missed me?" Marinette couldn't stop the glee that bubbled frantically in her chest.
Felix looked at his hands, "I... If that is the term, t-then I suppose so."
Marinette almost squealed.
"Oh my Kw- that was adorable." She gushed, pinching Felix's cheeks once more.
"Hmmpf–" His face glowed scarlet at this point, Felix his flustered expression behind cupped hands.
Felix Agreste is endearing, and Marinette couldn't understand why anyone would think otherwise.

Mari takes off her rose-tinted glasses
Felinette November day 5; Scars.
Nothin' wrong with a bit of angst and some fluff on the side, right?
His skin was unmarred by blemishes; untainted by wicked marks. But his eyes revealed the grotesque scars she never bothered to notice before.
-----
She saw him as he stood idly in front of immense double doors, silent as he counted the drops of water that charged at the ground. Deja vu pierced through her chest like an arrow at the sight of his regard, twisting her heart with the pain of familiar nostalgia. Her palms ached, her lips quivered – cold, trembling fists tightened around the umbrella handle. The scene felt too familiar; too uncanny.
He looked so lonely.
Marinette stared at him from her spot, pensive. Adrien, by all accounts, looked absolutely normal – his posture was straight as the days before; his clothes were identical to yesterday and his passive countenance was the same as it always had been. But then why, she thought, why does he seem so different? Marinette never thought of Adrien as a lonely person, what with the attention and admiration he always recieved in class. And never in Marinette's whole career of lovelorn pining, had Adrien ever changed a single thing about himself. Not his hair, not his style of clothing, and not even his model-perfect complexion.
It didn't occur to her until she saw his eyes.
His skin was unmarred by blemishes; untainted by wicked marks since the day she fell in love. But those eyes... Dear lord, those beautiful green eyes that drove her over the edge every time she saw them. Those eyes that nudged her to fall into tragedy on that faithful day in the rain. Those eyes that she once coveted to the point of a malicious obsession,– that drove her mad with envy whenever someone else wanted them for their own. Those eyes – no, Adrien's eyes were morose under his hair. Disturbingly distant as he stared at the raindrops that fell on damp concrete. His eyes revealed the grotesque scars she never bothered to notice before, throbbing red and infected with every emotional anguish he had endured.
Oh, how she had been so cruel.
Marinette hated many things in life – she hated many things about herself. She hated being so clumsy and worrying the people she loved with the purple bruises on her skin. She hated how she always took it upon herself to deal with responsibilities that were never hers to begin with. She despised being a damn liar to her friends and family, even if it was for the sake of secret identities.
And most especially, she loathed being so selfish when it came to her desire for Adrien Agreste.
How many times had she sabotaged other people to preserve a love that never existed? How many people did she betray, regardless of their innocence? There were far too many to count – too many people she had hurt. She had been the catalyst of far too many cursed butterflies – had been a vessel of the toxicity she sought so hard to eradicate. It lit her up with raging hellfire and devoured her from the inside out.
Marinette was burning.
It burned. It scorched. It punished. It hurt. Her hands felt heavy with blood. Cruel voices whispered betrayal into her ear, accusations of crimes that Marinette couldn't deny. And suddenly, her conscience weighed heavy on her shoulders.
She couldn't go on like this.
She was a horrible friend in the countless times she ditched preplanned events just to stalk Adrien. She was an insensitive classmate when she seized opportunities that her classmates deserved a lot more. She had been a terrible lover when she prioritized her happiness over Adrien's smile. Unjust, naïve, and obsessive, Marinette almost laughed, How did I ever hope that he would be happy with me?
She had been so blind to his pains. A perfect image to uphold, his lack of freedom, and downtrodden by a neglectful father that pushed arduous responsibilities on his back. The daily akumas only rubbed salt on his wounds, – seeing so many of his friends become victim to Hawkmoth's manipulations. It was a miracle that Adrien still had the resolve to smile everyday.
Marinette peaked another glance his way, sighing.
God, she loved that boy. Her heart still beat frantically whenever he smiled her way, – her cheeks still reddened with his every compliment. Beautiful Adrien. Sweet, kind, and talented Adrien. How could she not love him? How could she simply ignore a boy who's goodness knew know bounds? One would be fool to hurt him.
Just like she did.
She loved him. She loved him so much. and she would continue to love him. Even if...
Even if it wasn't her to make him happy.
Marinette strode over to him, a black umbrella shielding her from the rain. Puddles broke with her every step. Adrien noticed her arrival, smiling awkwardly as he waved at her.
"Five PM is a bit late to still be in the school, isn't it?" Marinette forced herself to smile.
Adrien laughed, "It is, but the Gorilla is on leave today, and Nathalie won't be arriving until Seven." he grinned. "But don't worry, It's nothing I haven't handled before."
Marinette's heart clenched, had it always been like this?
"Don't you commute?"
Adrien ran a hand through his hair, "I do, but I'm not particularly equipped right now as you can see." He admitted sheepishly.
"Oh." Marinette's mind blanked on how to respond. Silence surrounded them with deafening volume, only broken by the pattering of water on the floor.
"Hey, doesn't this feel a bit familiar?" He finally said, looking to the sky in fond memory.
Marinette inhaled shakily, "It is."
"It's the day we first met, right? When you got trapped inside the umbrella?" Adrien tried to lighten the mood, albeit a bit poorly.
Marinette remembered that day well, – the memory burned deep into her mind. It was the day fell head-over-heels for the blond in front of her, and it was also the day she first embarassed herself in front of him.
"I'm appalled you still remember! And that you brought it up." She mustered all of her strength to reply, a cheeky grin on her lips.
He perked up at her reply, "Hey, hey! No harm, no foul. It was pretty adorable, honestly."
She faked a dramatic gasp, "Flattery, Agreste? Don't try to butter me up for croissants!"
His laugh was music to her ears, "I wasn't! It was the truth, cross my heart." Adrien drew a cross on his chest.
Marinette fought a blush from appearing, her heartbeat was starting to pick up it's pace. She gulped, "S-speaking of that day, remember this umbrella?"
"You brought it? I haven't seen it with you until today." His eyes widened at the sight of his black umbrella in Marinette's hands.
"I had a hunch about the weather." She said.
"I never knew about your clairvoyance." He teased back, a childish joy on his face. Marinette's never seen him like this before.
"You don't know a lot, Agreste." She quipped. She wasn't sure if her words were wholly jokes.
"Well," Adrien looked conflicted, "I do want to get to know you."
Marinette frowned, "Is that so?"
"Uhm, yeah! Sorry if it sounds a bit rude, but I can't but get the feeling that you're always scared around me." He admitted. She couldn't stand the hurt in his voice.
"Really?" Was all she managed to say.
"I mean, you always seem to run away whenever I enter the room. You stutter a lot, and Nino and Alya refuse to tell me why. " Adrien rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish expression. Marinette's chest hurt even more.
"I'm sorry that you felt that way. It was wrong of me to make you feel unwelcomed." Marinette's hold on the umbrella tightened, her palms ached with guilt.
His eyes widened, "Oh, don't apologize! I just thought that I did something wrong, but I never really had the chance to say sorry."
"Say sorry for me being a coward?" She laughed bitterly.
"No! Well, I uhm... It's just that we never get to talk like this! I kind of envy Alya because of that." He admitted. "You always seem so comfortable with her and the others."
Marinette glanced at him, his expression was that of a kicked puppy. "Well, I'm sorry for running away from you all the time." She started, "And, if it helps, maybe we can start over?"
"What? Really?!" Adrien looked so hopeful. Marinette's heart melted.
She nodded, smiling. She extended her hand towards him, "Hello, stranger. I am Marinette Dupain-Cheng, an aspiring designer, baker's daughter, and can totally beat you in Ultimate Mega Strike 3." she ended with a smirk.
"Hi, Marinette." He started, unsure in his words. "My name is Adrien, I love anime, croissants and I hate stinky cheese." Marinette suppressed a coo at his cute introduction. Adrien smirked back, "And it's me who can beat you in UMS 3."
"Let's test your theory next time, then you'll treat me to a milkshake when I win." She challenged
"No way! You'll be the one getting me croissants when I kick your butt!" He laughed. Marinette joined him with a fit of giggles herself.
She felt... lighter somehow. She felt better than before.
When their laughs died down, Marinette extended the umbrella in his direction, "Here,"
Adrien looked at her, confused.
Marinette giggled, "It's getting late, and your house is already pretty far away." She toom his hand and placed the umbrella habdle into itm
"Marinette, I can't–" he frowned.
She deadpanned, "Adrien, I live a few feet away from the school, you need it more than me."
"But I–"
"If you fight me on this, you won't be getting any croissants tomorrow." Adrien reluctantly took the umbrella at the threat, avoiding ger gaze. Marinette sighed, satisfied. "Good. Now hurry to the train station before you get sick."
Adrien looked her in the eyes again, "We'll talk tomorrow, right?" he asked hopefully.
Marinette smiled, "Of course."
He stared at her. He looked happy.
A moment passed before somehow, somehow, the umbrella closed and trapped Adrien inside of it.
"Mmpf!" He yelped.
Marinette burst out in laughter, clutching her stomach. "At this point, I think your umbrella is cursed to trap people inside it on rainy days!" She gasped out. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen." Kneelibg down, she pulled the umbrella open, revealing a very flustered Adrien
"S-sorry about that!" A blush coated his cheeks, his stutter was adorable too.
Marinette snorted, "You shouldn't be the one apologizing, you dork!" She pulled him up on his feet.
"See ya," She said, opening the umbrella for him.
He took it in his hands, "Y-yeah." Adrien stuttered out, before rushing out of the school gates.
Marinette watched his retreating figure, a sigh escaped her lips. Her shoulders felt lighter, and she breathed much more freely.
Then why did she feel so empty?
It was only after he left the school grounds when she felt a tear kiss her cheeks.
Then another.
And another.
Until she dropped down on the floor, wracked with ugly sobs.
She wasn't rejected. Nothing hurt. On the contrary, her chest felt more numb than heartbroken. Then why on earth was she crying?! It didn't make any sense at all. She tried to wipe away the tears that fell, but more replaced them every time. Her shoulders trembled up and down, she bit her lips to keep them from shaking.
"Marinette, everything will be okay." A tiny, feminine voice assured, a small hand rubbing the shell of her ear in comfort.
Marinette gasped through the sobs, "Oh, Tikki. Why am I crying? Why is it so numb?! I shouldn't be crying!" she wailed, her hands cupping her face.
"It is perfectly normal to mourn a love that you let go." A different voice chimed, calming and rational. Marinette recognized the speaker to be Wayzz.
"I d-don't understand!" She hiccuped.
"I'm sorry..." Wayzz said, guilt laced his tone.
Marinette heard footfalls approaching her direction, splashing with every step. She swallowed her sobs and frantically tried to wipe her tears away as the teo kwamis hid inside her bag.
"Hey." A familiar voice gently called, – Marinette knew it all too well. The tears stopped falling on her cheeks. She looked up to meet his concerned eyes.
Felix.
"Hey to you too." She weakly greeted from the ground.
Felix frowned, "It's raining, you should go home."
She chuckled halfheartedly, "I kinda gave my umbrella away."
"Here, stand up. I'll walk you home." He offered his hand. Marinette took it gratefully, and pulled herself up.
She waved her hands, "It's really fine, Fé. You might get home late. I already sent Adrien home."
He clicked his tongue, "And leave you on the floor? Come on now, you live nearby anyway."
Marinette laughed, "You won't take no for an answer, will you?" she grinned at him. She knew him too well.
"No."
Smirking, she relented, "Alright, I accept, my Knight with too much hair gel."
"I might just splash you with rain water." Felix rolled his eyes.
"I'm kidding!" She snickered, taking his arm under the umbrella.
"Hey Fe,"
"Yes?"
"Thank you."
------
OKAY SO I'M EXTREMELY LATE, SO WHAT.
Everyone loves a good umbrella scene. Especially since It's a reverse umbrella scene. And even better, it's two umbrella scenes in one oneshot!
And yes, Adrien does develop a crush on Marinette after this, sue me.
So a lot of thought went into this, like Adrien and Marinette's 'introductions' to one another. Marinette presented herself with her full name, while Adrien only said "My name is Adrien." Additionally, Adrien told Mari that he liked Anime, croissants and hated stinky cheese. He didn't mention any activity that his father made him do, like fencing, piano and chinese. Take that as you will.
Oh, and the reverse umbrella scene was very on the nose, but a really poetic way to show Marinette moving on from Adrien to become a better person. And a way to make Adrien like Marinette to fulfill my Marichat dreams, but I digress.
And next, the Felinette umbrella scene. So, Felix wasn't very involved with this one. But, I decided that as opposed to Felix giving Marinette his umbrella, they share it together. This is for a number of very obvious reasons, but mainly because it's cute.
Anddd, I have noticed a pattern with my stories. I tend to have very blunt titles, and weird epigraphs in the beginning. Just wanted to put that out.

Andrè is a Matchmaker
Felinette day 1; Matchmaking.
*Apologies for the chaotic writing, it's 2 am and I cannot focus for the life of me.*
----
They stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, clutching each other in hysteric laughter and a red string between their right pinkies.
Andrè Glacier was a hopeless romantic,– a lover of love and a believer of soulmates. Of course, why wouldn't he be? His clairvoyance for romance and passion for love was all inherited, after all. Passed down from his ancestors, to his grandfather, to his own mother, until he was finally given the mantle of Paris' matchmaker, his ice cream scoop a symbol of his role.
Paris was known as the city of love, and for this, Andrè could not be more thankful. The idea of love in general gave him joy; seeing the hope and happiness it sparked between couples, both young and old. Love was abundant, no doubt, but it frequented Paris more often than not.
Above all else, did Andrè value people who found their soulmates. It was a rarity, yes, but such made the bond all the more valuable. Andrè knew of the red string of fate; he'd say he knew it well. He often recalled the stories of soul bonds and soulmates that his mother told him, of both his ancestor's experiences and of hers. And when he finally witnessed his first pair of soulmates in the union of Sabine Cheng and Tom Dupain,– well... None of his elaborate rhymes could ever describe the pure happiness that illuminated their eyes whenever they were together.
And the most recent pair...
They stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, in a remote part of the local park where Andrè had settled his ice cream stand at. The sun was high and it glared furiously, threatening to melt his icy treats if not for the trees that shielded his stand. It was a peaceful spot, practically barren of chatter with only the chirping of local pigeons to break the silence. The peace was gone when Andrè turned to see two teens clutching each other in hysterical laughter, suspiciously disheveled with mischief in their eyes. They hid behind his ice cream stand. Andrè had immediately recognized the young girl as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, with monochromatic boy chuckling at her side.
It was a peculiar sight, though what truly captured his attention was the glowing red string between their right pinkies.
The laughter soon died down and the boy was the first one to notice Andrè, steely grey eyes (or were they Blue?) met his gaze with a deadpan glare, dropping the joyful expression in a mere millisecond. Marinette was the one to greet him after following the boy's gaze. With a peppy jump,.
"Andrè! I wasn't expecting to see you here!"
"But of course, Love leads to the strangest of places! From bridges to park, to put smiles on your faces!" Andrè greeted them with a theatric rhyme, jovial and upbeat.
Marinette giggled before gasping abruptly, "Oh, before I forget! Andrè, this is Felix. Felix, this is Andrè, the ice cream man!"
Andrè almost pitied the boy's standoffishness, "Pleasure to meet you." Felix greeted him clearly, though it was much too formal for Andrè to deem it normal.
"We kind of got caught up in a... crowd." Marinette looked sheepish, rubbing the back of her head. As if on cue, Andrè heard the screaming of what seemed like teenage girls in the distance.
"Stampede is a much more fitting term." Felix dryly added, rolling his eyes.
Andrè grinned, "A monochrome boy and a girl so sweet. Say, would you like an icy treat?" he almost leaped at the opportunity.
"Do you want some, Felix?" Marinette asked.
Felix paused, hesitance flickered in his eyes. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt..." He relented after glancing at Marinette's hopeful face.
"Right! Two ice cream cups, please." She announced.
"But of cour–" Andrè halted.
Wait, two cups? This doesn't make sense.
"Not a sweetheart ice cream for both of you?"
"No, no! We're not together!" A blush dusted Marinette's cheeks as she denied his assumption with frantic hands.
Andrè frowned. Had he read them wrong? Surely not, the red string clearly connected their souls together. But Andrè couldn't quite grasp why they didn't have a singular flavor that most soulmates had. Felix clearly had Marinette in his mind, but another clearly held the sweet girl's heart. Soulmates always had one flavor that described their completed soul, if they realized their bond that is. Sabine and Tom's was vanilla, pure and sweet just like their classic love. Jagged Stone and Penny Rolling received rocky road, for sweet unpredictability.
"Coming right up!" Andrè did his best to not falter.
No, this isn't right. Andrè figured that they haven't realized their bond quite yet,– thus they haven't quite found their true flavors.
But fate whispered into his ear, that this pair wouldn't end as star-crossed lovers.
"Peach pink like his lips and mint like his eyes." Andrè recited, swiftly piling the scoops on the cup.
"Here you go!"
Marinette smiled, "Thanks a lot, Andrè!"
"Strawberry sweet for her sugary heart, blackberry for her hair, and blueberry for her sky blue stare!" Andrè didn't think that Felix truly believed in his 'magical' ice cream, but he would let it pass.
"Thank you..." Felix stiffly said.
"It's my pleasure, Mademoiselle, Monsoir. Come again soon. For now, bonsoir."
Andrè needn't worry,– he had a feeling that this wouldn't be their last visit.
----
They had stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, and they had visited many times more after. From sunny weathers to rainy days, circumstances always seemed to bring Felix and Marinette to his ice cream. Whether by fate or coincidence, though Andrè was sure it was the former.
With each passing visit, he watched them grow more comfortable; grow more in sync. They would know each other's words better, predict each other's movements and mannerisms like muscle memory. The sparkle of joy in their eyes grew as well. From a flickering flame, into starlight, brightly burning. The other boy in Marinette's heart faded away little by little, being replaced by none other than Felix himself. Andrè looked forward to the day that they would recognize each other as their other half.
The day they did was stormy and dreary,– they were both soaked head to toe in rain water, their clothes clung to their bodies. Yet despite the gloomy circumstances, they both laughed and smiled under the shelter of a single jacket. They approached his stand protected beneath a large umbrella, skipping with unabashed glee. And oddly enough, it was Felix who requested the couple's ice cream, while Marinette nodded enthusiastically beside him. It was momentous, really, if not a bit strange. Andrè nearly jumped with joy when he handed them the cup. He was sure to tell Tom and Sabine later when he stopped by the bakery.
Today, they sat comfortably on a bench, a little ways farther from his stand. Laughter was evident in their interactions, even from where Andrè stood, he could tell. Matchmaking aside, his mother told him many stories of soulmates that were cursed as star-crossed lovers, separated and unfavored by fate. He was just happy that they finally found each other, no tragedy in their wake.
----
"Andrè's sweetheart ice cream is really miraculous! Can you believe it finally brought Juleka and Rose together?" Marinette sat down next to her dear boyfriend, a cold cone of ice cream in her hand.
"I never really believed in the 'soulmates' and 'matchmaking' gimmick." Felix muttered, putting his book down beside him.
"And yet you stuck around to eat ice cream with me. Tell me, was it because you're actually a closet sweet tooth, or is there another reason for your adamance?" Marinette only smirked,– poking Felix in the cheek.
He grumbled, "You cheeky little bug. If I didn't know any better, I'd argue that you wielded the Fox miraculous."
Marinette scoffed, "Oh please, we both know that you're slyer than me." she pinched his cheek.
"Truthfully, I only relented each time because you looked so hopeful." Felix pinched her cheek in return.
"Oh Felix, ever the jerk with a heart of gold. Just admit that Andrè was a better matchmaker than you expected." Marinette snickered.
"Shut up and eat your ice cream." Felix shoved a spoon into Marinette's mouth, pink stained his pale face. She only laughed, savoring Felix's flustered face as well as the taste of cold and creamy salted caramel.
----
Felix will forever be the Jerk with a Heart of Gold to me. No creepy Adrien clone can stop me.
