Tandy's 1000, sold by Tandy Corporation in 1984 via its RadioShack stores, was a low-cost home computer designed to be compatible with IBM PC software. It shipped with an Intel 8088 processor, 128 KB of RAM, expandable to 640 KB, and had better-at-the-time graphics and sound than many of the standard PCs. The 1000 had the Tandy Graphics Adapter, or TGA, and the more superior SN76496 or NCR 8496 sound chips. The built-in joystick port also made it desirable for gamers and home users. Different models were produced, each with improved hardware, before being discontinued in 1993. One of the main selling features was its compatibility with IBM-PC, the MS-DOS operating system, and expansion slots for peripheral devices.

So, Dave the Diver is a fun game where you are a guy named Dave who catches fish for a sushi restaurant and explores the ocean and nothing weird happens.

That being said.

There are so many other things I could have mentioned to be options for this poll. Not an ad, I just ADORE this insane little game. My top game of 2023 so far for sure.

For our first Game of the Month we are playing the amazing Gameboy Advance game LoZ: The Minish Cap!

When the sorcerer Vaati turns Princess Zelda to stone, the king of Hyrule sends Link on a quest that will take him to places he's never imagined. Using the power of a mystical hat called the Minish Cap, the Hylian hero will shrink down for a massive quest on a microscopic scale!

Minish Cap is currently available on the Gameboy Advance app on the Nintendo Switch but it doesn't matter where you play it just as long as you play!
