Last stream we basically made zero progress. We spent the entire stream in Tangled world. Today? We will probably do the same thing.
It's more KH3 Crit LV1! Wish me luck.

...Is Luxord Yozora's dad?
I was rewatching the old Versus XIII trailers, and I realized a lot when they got to the 2011 trailer, where the scene from KH3 remind is most clearly recreated.
youtube
The first thing I realized immediately is that, the line of Noctis's driver is basically the same in terms of meaning as what Yozora's driver says with Luxord's voice. "Impressive, is it not"? He wants Noctis to look out the window and see. The Shinjuku government building. Which is now, in this fictional setting, a royal palace, a citadel.
Its still the seat of power it is in real Japan, but. Now there's actually literally a seat. A throne.
In KH3, Luxord doesn't call Yozora "prince" before that, but. I didn't realize the similarity of the lines afterwards.
But, in the same trailer, after the scene with Noctis and Stella, at about 17 minutes and 30 seconds in that video, it shows Noctis's father, on his throne, and it says he'll be the last king, and I realized that. He looks the same as the driver? It's hard to tell, we don't get a close up on him at the same angle, and. I don't have any photoshop or image editing skills, so if any tumblr users could play with jpegs like dolls, to make a better comparison, that would help.
For people who only know Final Fantasy XV, this might be confusing because he doesn't look like Regis in that version, but. Regis actually got redesigned between Versus XIII and XV. I also don't know if he was named Regis, but. When they changed Versus into XV, Nomura says he redesigned Stella, and then when Tabata took over, they changed Stella's name to Luna, because there was a different story role.
In Versus XIII, the kings of Lucis were more like. A yakuza family. So Noctis's dad looked like. A mob boss. Slicked back hair and a dark suit. In XV, the kingdom of Lucis was more straightforwardly noble, politically, so he got changed to look more like a refined, elder statesman. Gray hair, a cape.
And, Luxord Kingdom Hearts doesn't look much like. Any version of Regis's design. Aside from having facial hair. And we see Yozora's driver has blond hair and. That is definitely Robin Atkin Downes doing the British accent he does for Luxord.
But. If the scene being recreated where Luxord drives Yozora is one where Noctis was being driven by his dad. Does that mean that. If Yozora is playing Noctis's role, that Luxord is playing. Regis's role?
...This is all moot if the driver for Noctis isn't actually Regis, I guess. But it looks so similar to me, and it's hard for me to tell.
The driver in Versus seems sorta playful and amused by Noctis's comment about the invasion, and "Noctis Oji" isn't the most respectful way to talk to a prince. There's no "sama" implying he's the driver's superior.
Noctis and Regis supposedly have a playful relationship, even in that version, so. I mean, maybe. Or maybe I'm reading too much into the facial expressions.
The car looks like the Regalia, which is Regis's car in XV, though my understanding is that the car got more important later, after Nomura left. Maybe it was just a car at this point.
The person Regis talks to later is probably Ravus/Lupis, who supposedly in the Versus version was chosen by a crystal/is a L'Cie, and wears a white sheet as a shroud. He's sick or whatever, and also maybe jealous of the Lucis family and working for Niflheim like Ravus in XV, unclear. But I don't think he's talking to Noctis, and telling him directly he'll never be king.
Hes not going to let Noctis be king, but it's supposedly an act of love.
...I don't know what it means for Luxord's character, if he's actually a king, or. I dunno, I guess a General or. An Admiral? A captain? If he's the superior of a. "Commander".
But looking at that trailer. It's interesting, that there's details, and how they might line up with the recreation in KH.

An Encounter With A Rude Person
Author: Autobot2001 Genre: Fanfiction Fandom: NBC Hannibal Rating: T Warning: Rude comment about mental health Pairing: None Description: Someone is rude, making comments about Jamie. Continued from day 18.2. I haven't heard anyone make a comment like this, and I hope people don't actually say this. This is just what came to mind.
Day 27.1 @feveruary: Vacation Disaster @fluffyfebruary: Fixer-upper @fluffbruary: kitchen | sun
Under the cut
Tannibal, Jamie, and Will have settled into a routine. Three days into the vacation Hannibal and Will lay on lounge chairs while Jamie plays in the water. "Oh so you two care for a fixer upper?" Someone says. "Excuse me?" Hannibal asks. "A fixer-upper Yeah, the term is used for a house that needs a lot of work, but there's people with shit mental states, like her, that need a lot of work to be fixed." This infuriates Hannibal and Will. The person walks away. "How would they know?" Will asks. "She's happy right now, playing in the water." "I don't know." Hannibal watches the person walk away.
Jamie walks out of the water ten minutes later. "You have a bad sunburn," Hannibal observes. "Time to return to the rental." The three friends get into Hannibal's car.
Once at the house, Hannibal gets cream to treat Jamie's sunburn. Hannibal and Will are still thinking about what the person said. They hope Jamie never hears a comment like that and that they don't encounter the person at the beach again.

2020 Memories: Kingdom Hearts III ReMIND DLC
AKA the real finale to the Dark Seeker Saga, and to Kingdom Hearts as a whole as far as I'm gonna be concerned. And I was actually skeptical about this DLC when it was first announced and showcased to us in teasers, feeling like it was just set to add insult on top of injury to a perfectly alright game that was also an underwhelming and massively disappointing concluding chapter to a story that had already become a massive disappointment for a whole ass decade.
By the final promotional trailer, I saw enough promising features that made me suck it up and get the thing. And at its start, it's really not very impressive. It immediately throws a bunch of useless, terribly written nonsequiturs at you made for the purpose of "clarification" but in true Nomura fashion only further complicate things, and then takes us back to Sora using the Power of Waking to locate and save Kairi at the end of KH3, leading to more convoluted Power of Waking, The Final World, Time Travelling, Heart Out Of Body Experience bullshit that improves the proceedings in the Keyblade Graveyard in only a few places but is otherwise not much better than what came before, downright nonsensical and contradictory at worst, to the point where you have to fight most of the boss fights from the games' final stretch all over again. Much as I appreciated fixes such as more proactive and useful contributions from the female cast and finally having Christopher Lloyd voicing Master Xehanort like he ought to have been the first KH3 around, it was incredibly awkward and shaky.
But then something happens after Sora finally reaches the point he'd wanted to and follows his past self and past Donald and Goofy through the portal of Master Xehanort's heart to Scala Ad Caelum. From an actually fully playable and explorable Scala Ad Caelum and onward, shit gets good. Like, really genuinely surprisingly good.

Everything in this section of the DLC feels like the big, stupid, over-the-top flashy and even emotionally resonant grand finale we were promised and should have had in the initial rollout of KH3. It's not KH2's finale, it's not even KH1's finale, but it's actually workable, appropriate, and largely satisfying as a final sequence for this story. The playable portion where King Mickey makes his big stand and walks towards the big shiny keyhole even against an all-out assault from the Xehanort Replicas is particularly powerful and memorable, and the final boss battle that soon follows is a perfect counterpart piece to Sora, Donald, and Goofy's big fight going on at the same time, ending on a note where you feel as though the evil that's been plaguing this universe and these characters has been truly, utterly, finally vanquished, and the happy ending everyone gets afterwards sits more right with you when Sora and Kairi are revealed to have been part of it all the entire time. Well, at least until Sora still has to fade from reality, but he's in Smash Bros. Ultimate now, so no biggie!
Ignoring the remaining DLC content of Limit Cut Episode aside from the Data Greeting feature, some returning Final Fantasy characters, and some unwinnable boss fights, it's a fine note to leave KH on.

So the limitcut fights are all about ‘here’s how powerful the bosses would be if we weren’t balancing them around being beatable by the average gamer’ right? They are literally what if we cut the limits. Every member is fighting at their max strength, not holding back.
Except Xigbar.
Obviously at this point we know why, but just think about that. Xigbar was that powerful, and that was only an act. Now the glove’s off, his ACTUAL limit is cut.
I cannot wait to fight Luxu, and the rest of the lost masters. And here’s hoping they all get limitcut fights too!!
