Hey, does anyone remember that one episode of the OG teen titans where it was that contest of champions or whatever? Becuase...
"Welcome, champions all! I am the Master of Games, and you are hereby invited to compete in the Tournament of the Strongest! Each of you have been specially chosen as the smartest and strongest each species has to offer."
"Hey, isn't that a fourteen-year-old?"

Fundraising Medical Care for My Cat
Hey, so my mom started a new gofundme page for our eldest cat White Socks. The last one lost traction. So we figured doing a new one will help. She even made a cute little video for it, you see above. Its so "A Mom Made This" video, I love it, aha. I'll make a transcript for it when I have the time and I'm not as stressed out, aha.
More info about the situation under the readmore.
Basically, we want to raise money for his hyperthyroidism treatment and other medical care. We are currently struggling financially and we just don't have the income to do this on our own. Most of my family are out of work since there's so few hiring jobs where we live.
Before my pc died, I did a push to promo my art commissions more to get some funds just to get an appointment for him after he developed a lump on his hip that needed draining. It ended up costing more than expected. I would do more commission work to fund his future appointments, but this isn't sustainable for me even if my pc wasn't broken. Hence the fundraiser.
When my pc is fixed, I'll probably do some streams again to try to boost his fundraiser? Do some doodles for people who donate? I don't like making posts like this. Its always so vulnerable to try to ask for help and explain why you need it. I always feel guilty and all twisted in knots. Money is so hard for everyone in these current times. This sucks.
Honestly we really would appreciate any help, even if just advice.

Countdown to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries: Day 631
Wanda: “I’m mad! I’m so so ANGRY!”
Agatha: “Yeah, yeah! Feel those emotions, let them leave that festering place and just explode!”
Wanda, tearing off her shoes: “GARR” *chucks them and breaks a window*
Y/N: “…I think Agatha meant with your magic. This isn’t helping Wanda, you’re being scary!”
Agatha: “No, no. This is much more fun. Here!” *hands Wanda her shoes*
Wanda, throwing them and breaking another window: “And I’m mad at myself and at him because I knew that Pietro imposter wasn’t real but I believed him anyway!”
Wanda: “Give me your shoes”
Y/N: “But these are my nice chucks!…okay”
Wanda, gleefully: “And this is what I wanted to do to Agatha when I learned she orchestrated IT ALL!” *smashes bay window*
Agatha: “…maybe now I’m scared”

I'm gonna try a KAL this summer! I had great success with a MAL earlier, and then I saw this one come up for Stardew Summer Socks by Oakwood Knits and immediately knew I had to participate. Unsure if I'll finish them before the KAL is over, especially as I've never done colorwork like this for socks, but I'm gonna get as far along as I can during the official KAL! I'm excited to work on this; Stardew Valley is such a comfort game and these socks are so nicely representative of the season in the game!
(holy moly but this yarn is teeny tiny though)

Welcome to July! The Featured Pattern for this month is the newly republished Gauntlet Socks, first published in Cast On Magazine.
Don't worry, if you don't have the pattern from Cast On, it's 50% off through the month of July!
The pattern is 50% off for the month of July, plus, if you finish a pair of socks by the end of July, you have the chance to win a Gift Card from Knit Picks. (US/Canada only at the moment, sorry!) or 4 patterns of your choice from my web shop!
Other cool stuff to know:
The stitch pattern is written only (no need for charts with this one!)
The pattern has a large-print version for folks who need it (this version also works with screen-reading tech)
It comes in three sizes: with a leg circumference of 7 (8, 9) inches, 18 (20.5, 23) cm, and adjustable foot and leg length.
Sample is in Lichen and Lace’s 80/20 Sock, which is 80% Superwash Merino, and 20% Recycled nylon. Any standard fingering-weight sock yarn should sub in well for this pattern.
If you're a Patron, you can download the pattern here
. . . . Yes, part of my inspiration for these socks was the Lord of the Rings movies. /sigh/
Anyway, you can find all the details about how to enter the Knit Along on the Pattern Page, and if you've got any questions, please, drop them on this post or in the Ask Box!

If I headcanon/design El Bailador as a birdlike monster instead I can make like. a bird exclusive headcanon.
Please consider El Bailador being Martlet's eccentric (/pos) uncle. Please consider Martlet also knowing a bit of spanish..

WIP Wednesday
The ace pride hat kit is coming along nicely! I'm definitely glad I started with the black instead of the purple like the pattern wanted, I'm much happier with this result overall than I was with the pictures of the finished hat as the kit intended. I have plenty of black and grey left, so I almost wish I'd added more length to each section.
Actually made some progress on the socks this week! With this week's progress, I'm about 75% of the way through the foot, and then I'll be onto the short row heel. The fade in this yarn is extremely gradual, but so far I'm really happy with how they're turning out!
No progress on the Leafy Leaf cowl this week. I'm planning the next restart of my cardigan after frogging it at the beginning of the month, and I promised myself I could start it once the Leafy Leaf cowl is done, so I've been trying to knock out some of my other wips first.
