Fairy Gala

Originally the design was more feminine with a lot of ruffles and lace but decided against it because although the gala designs for the boys have a lot of embellishing, the cloth textures didn't match

Took aspects of the 2 events' style

Poofy, relaxed style clothing and embellishments like Silver's and Leona's

Jack's lower half cause I really liked the poofy calf pants + strappy slippers combo

To compliment Ortho's design (the best one objectively) I wanted a firefly-like design where the wings are more narrow

The colours are a lot more akin to Ortho's because iridescent colours are peak fairy designs (with ivory as the base)

I also wanted to add another element which are fluffy wings because SSR designs vs. SR designs lmao

so Shining Nikki just dropped a huge free QOL update in the dye shop with almost no acknowledgement of it?? i'm losing my mind

the new mode layers dye colour over the existing hair colour, so effects like streaks and gradients are preserved. The result is gorgeous and it makes such a difference!! This is literally everything we’ve wanted since the dye shop launched.

There’s no extra cost to unlock and you can easily toggle back to the solid dye mode if you’re going for that flat-colour pastel look. It works on all dyeable styles whether UR, SSR, or SR.

As a bonus, layering green dye over pink hairstyles (or pink dye over green hairstyles) in the new mode now gives you beautiful rich browns.

The update's impact is most obvious on textured or multicolour hairstyles, of course, but single-colour hairstyles also now benefit from a much bigger range of hues!

Rather than continuing to only make bracelets when ssr cards I want drop, I’ve been seriously bored so i decided to just do the rest today. Octavinelle trio is the only dorm group where it was only four color patterns, so as a group, it’s finished first.

Also, like, idk why, any time I pick up a creative hobby my mom is always trying to be like “oh, you should open an online shop about it”, so like, might as well ask. Would anyone legit buy these? They’re easy to make and supplies are cheap, so I’d think buying them would be kinda weird, but if there are people out there willing to give me money for something like this, I’m not gonna say no, I’m broke as hell. Just wanna know if this is something I could pursue. (if it matters, azul’s would be $3, Jade $3.03, and Floyd $3.08. Flat rate for time, $1.48, + supplies cost, 1¢ per bead 5¢ per letter)

To be honest, Anon, it’s always a bit difficult to think about cheating when it comes to the way we ship characters. There are multiple ways to go around it, and it really depends on what kind of scenario we want: an angsty one or a horny one (yay NTR!). And with some characters and ships, certain situations would be much more upsetting than the others…

In general though, I feel like everyone would get upset in their own way. I wouldn’t want to break the bottoms’ hearts too much (aside from intentionally mean scenarios); the tops would get horny though! They always do for some fucking reason.

But! Speaking of being upset in their own way: I also wrote a post on a similar topic before: the one about twst guys reacting to their loves calling them by the wrong name. Even though there are some specific (calling someone by the wrong name could be an accident and/or doesn’t necessarily apply that the person is actively cheating), I feel like the overall reaction would be pretty much the same… but twice as furious, yikes lol

Oh, maybe they're just shy? In that case Kalim will go first to break the ice! Jamil of course would ask him to let him handle it (As the heir you cannot afford to embarrass yourself in front of these people!). Any complaints from the guests would probably die down pretty quickly (As expected from Asim, everything they offer is first-rate, even their servants!), with mission entertain-the-guests being a complete success. Although mission try-to-stop-Kalim-from-making-a-fool-out-of-himself wouldn't go as well... he would likely last less than five minutes before going "That looks like fun!" and deciding to join Jamil (mostly because he suddenly really really really wants to touch Jamil)

Oh my god, leave it to Kalim fucking al-Asim to think that strip clubs are for dancing. Just what one would expect from a guy that treats his harem like a bunch of cool friends. I have no idea how Jamil didn’t prevent this type of situation from happening, but we can’t blame it on him: the guy has too much on his plate… and now he has even more on his plate with this whole stripping thing + with Kalim joining him!

Of course he would suddenly really-really want to touch Jamil, I wonder why…

ginnojo was my first boy i liked from ayakashi just because his ssr was my first. i was like, yep, i'll make him my fav just because he was my first lol

ginnojo is a shy bookshop keeper, a veteran of war, and he is VERY shy around women

he is blushing and stuttering his way through every interaction with mc in the game (i'm exaggerating lol)

his story was kinda the most boring one, unfortunately :c

but they compinsated with ssr hidden stories and small interactions in events

in game, he doesn't have anything interesting in his design that would reflect his dragon nature. you can see on official artwork that he has like a few scales on his cheek and arm, and that's it. i think it's a mist opportunity! so i added more scales and a dragon tale for him.

ginnojo is kind of weird yokai as well, he is a water dragon. how do you become a water dragon yokai in nc universe? i don't know!

ginnojo lives in deep water territory. even though, water territory seems to be more inhabited by people, like light territory, i bet there is still secluded places for rare mythical creatures to occupy.

i imagined his living by a high mountain lake, but looking over nc map (i'll probably post it sometime later) it seems that water territory is very flat 😭

and i don't want another yokai chilling in wood territory. i know that it's often their birth place, and it's safer from humans, but idk it's a big concentration of sexy dudes in one place lmao they can't be ALL neighbors to each other yk

water territory seems to have dence forests too, judging from the main story (where rei lives), so i bet there is a place for a magical secret lake or something suitable for a water dragon. *huffs and puffs*

Ursus went flying backwards, hitting the wall by the door and slumping to the floor, stunned. Story - summarized

Yueniang just graduated from college, but he's flat broke. Begrudgingly, he returns to his old home. The servants are surprised to see Yueniang when he arrives at the gate. While he was away, his family tossed out all his belongings. He no longer has anything to his name except the clothes on his back.

His brother, Zicheng, appears and offers to help Yueniang get back on his feet. However, Yueniang knows this is just a polite ruse. Ever since his mother died, his family cut him off. Zicheng would offer his brother money or a job... but it was only to placate Yueniang and keep him from uncovering the reason his mother died.

Inside their mother's old room, Yueniang and Zicheng reminisce about their mom. Meiniang loved her sons, and she would play with them a lot. She encouraged Yueniang to grow into a mature, respectable young man, and she promised to be right next to him as he grew up.

But soon after that, she died.

Defiant, Yueniang puts on one of his mother's dresses and her jade hairpin. If he couldn't have his old things, he would take Meiniang's things.

Yueniang leaves the room, coming face-to-face with his father and the servants. All of them are stunned: Yueniang is the spitting image of Meiniang. Without a word, he leaves his family behind, leaving the home and never coming back.

-During the Blessed Blossoms hell event, Yueniang reveals that his family, the House Yue, rules over Yue Prefecture City. It's the city that Lingwu, the white tiger, protects and guards.

Fun Facts

-Yueniang's name means "moon lady." His old name, Zilang, refers to either a beautiful rock or a precious, blue coral. And his brother's name, Zicheng, describes the sound of a stringed instrument. (Thanks, yuli, for the translation!)

-Yueniang is gender-nonconforming: he refers to himself as a man, but he dresses and behaves more femininely. He may be nonbinary as well, but that is not confirmed.

“Would you say you’re a better baker or a chef?”

Stahli: What a good question… I’m not really sure! Stahli: Baking and cooking are like polar opposites, you see. You need to treat both processes very differently. Comparing my skill between the two is like apples to oranges.

“What do you mean?”

Stahli: How do I put this… Cooking is a craft where you can be very loose with your ingredients. Recipes are more like a template or a guide, you can make changes easily and still come out with something delicious! Stahli: However, with baking you must be richtig – very strict, exact, and precise. If you alter a recipe even slightly wrong, you will ruin the whole dish. Stahli: You cannot add too much or two little of any one ingredient, you must bake at the exact perfect temperature for the exact right amount of time… Stahli: For more complex recipes you must also ensure there’s enough air beaten into the batter and that you do not overmix… There’s lots of things to consider! Everything is very as it is and unable to be easily changed. Stahli: Cooking is like a dance of ingredients in a pan, and baking is like entering a professional dance competition! Either way, I find the journey to deliciousness a fun one~

“What would you say is your signature dish?”

Stahli: I suppose that depends on the medium! Stahli: One of my favorite things to bake is perhaps scones. My grandmother taught me her recipe, and I never once forgot it. Stahli: She used to fry hers and serve it with cinnamon honey butter. I don’t make it often, but they’re really such a comfort food of mine~ Stahli: The scones I make regularly are a more crumbly kind that has fruit in them. I make sure to add extra berries when I can, and I’ll split them in half to add extra jam before I eat them~ Stahli: Outside of baking, I’m also quite proud of my schnitzel and maultaschen recipes! …Ah, sorry, I don’t know the words for them in English. Stahli: How to describe them… schnitzel is where you take a piece of meat, like a porkchop, and you pound it flat, bread it, and fry it until the outside is crispy and golden. Stahli: Sometimes people make layered schnitzel, so the inside is strips of ham and cheese. My mother used to make it that way for me when me and my sisters were younger~ Stahli: Maultaschen is like a filled pasta dumpling… I think that’s the right word. Stahli: You take pasta dough and make it like a pillowcase, then fill it with all kinds of good things! My favorite is made with grilled peppers, onions, and sausage. Stahli: You close them up, then take the dumplings and either fry them in butter or simmer them in a soup, and you’re done! Stahli: I usually like them fried, but whenever someone is sick, I’ll make them some in a soup to help them feel better. Stahli: I made some for Epel a couple weeks ago when he had a cold, and he said it was one of the best things he’s ever eaten in Pomefiore! It made me so happy to hear that~ Stahli: If you’re ever sick, please don’t hesitate to call me and I’ll make you some too! It’ll cure your illness faster than anything else, and that’s my promise~

"You sure know a lot about cooking."

Stahli: Haha~! Well, my parents can be thanked for that. Stahli: Both of my mothers are very busy most days. Between running the family shop and tending to the garden and orchard, they may be around but they would not be able to do much in the way of housework. Stahli: In the evenings they would usually be so tired that cooking was a pain to do. And, of course, when the shop is being run during the day they cannot cook for my youngest siblings. Stahli: They wanted us, the older siblings, to be able to help with cooking when we are able, so that nobody must suffer when they are not around to help. Stahli: Me and my older sister learned how to cook all their recipes and help them in the kitchen! My older sister does not like to cook as much as I do though, so I often did most of the extra cooking and baking around the house. Stahli: She finds it to be a chore, but I find it quite fun and therapeutic. To each their own! I'm glad that my mothers taught me how to cook.
