"Good girl."
What makes your heart race? What scares you? What makes you feel… alive? Let’s find out, shall we?
Elise can't sleep. Sierra can't stop. The dominatrix wants to feast. The copywriter can't stomach the idea of sustaining her appetite. The redhead wants to own, to feel a woman come undone. The blonde wants to escape the drudgery of a normal working life. The masculine, dominant Mistress wants to distract herself from anger. The feminine, shy submissive wants to distract herself from the demons in her head. Two women cut from a very different sheet of cloth. They're opposites in the widest degree. But something about opposites… They attract.
Tumblr media
They’re opposites in the widest degree.
Elise Hahnfeld is the ‘perfect’, obedient, high-performing office worker. She’s been a doormat for so many years it felt second-nature, but she’s growing exasperated at the drudgery of her normal life, her job that’s taken more from her than she can afford to give. If only someone was there to show her a different path, one where the unknown can be exciting instead of terrifying. Someone who could distract her from the mundane. When Elise loses everything, desperation drives her to do something unthinkable.
She gives up control to a dominant woman with a taste of the forbidden.
Sierra Kernan isn’t a stereotypical Mistress. She’s masculine, cocky… and exactly Elise’s type. Sierra is a barber-turned disciplinarian with a body that could turn even the straightest woman into a flustered mess with just a command. Sierra is everything that Elise isn’t: confident, strong, and self-assured.
When their paths meet, Elise realizes that Sierra isn’t the revered Mistress she claims, but a woman with a dark past. Sierra’s jealous twin sister Abi is a toughened mercenary determined to make their lives a whole lot messier.
It’s a delicate dance of trust and submission. Elise is repressing a feistiness that only Mistress Sierra knows how to tame… but who says that being tamed is a bad thing?
Available now as an eBook. Paperback and audiobook versions coming sometime in the not-so-distant future!
For all the sapphics who want a strong masc lesbian to tell them they're a good girl and pin them against the wall, to be soft and dominant in equal tithes - welcome home, darlings.

BOOKS

Want to hear about my INDIE BOOKS? No? Here they are anyway!
I write oldschool fantasy defined by memorable characters and sincere storytelling, as well as nonfiction werewolf research/werewolf studies. (I have sci-fi & more on the way, too. I'm always working!)
I'm a full-time author, and I am only supported by wonderful readers like you and all my incredibly lovely patrons.
Please consider giving some of my work a try! You can find my Amazon page here--
But if you don't like Amazon, please do search for my works on your preferred online retailers! I'm not exactly an Amazon fan, either... but sadly there's nothing I can do about monopolies.
Pick up a book! I recommend The Demon's Fang (ebook is free everywhere you can find it, including most online retailers) and Knightfall.
I promise you won't regret it! <3

Sorcery rules for Jiol
Something I think is really important in stories with magic/sorcery is to have rules. So, in my best attempts to not be hypocritical, I made some rules for my action-fantasy, Changing Waters: Jiol.
There are different forms of sorcery, each with varying degrees of difficulty. One form is spell sorcery. There are minor spells which everyone could learn like camouflage spells, ranging to those which are extremely complex like cloning (not cloning other Jiolans, just items). Essentially, the sky is the limit for spellcasters. They're only stopped by their creativity and their skillset. The more complex the spell, the better the sorcerer. Jiolans can also create their own spells, but this requires great practice or they can hurt themselves. These still have limits. No one is granted full power, so a spell itself can't kill, create life, permanently paralyze, etc. Spells also will wear off with time and they all have the ability to have a counterspell.
Potions. These can be used for a variety of reasons such as healing or poisons. Typically, potions are easier to create than spells since it is more like following a recipe. They also last longer. If someone has a complex spell (something which will be popping up in book 2), then that individual needs to be very skilled. Again, the recipe analogy works because most people can follow a recipe, but a true cook knows how to make their own out of nothing. Prodigies and those who become more proficient will be able to create spells instinctively.
And now, we have combat sorcery. At its most basic, there is hydrokinesis. Controlling water can be done by any Jiolan who uses combat sorcery. It can be kept in liquid form, turned to ice, or turned into "hard water" which would allow someone to create a sword or other weapons. Even if it's basic, it can be lethal. The next step up is coral manipulation. Since coral is made up of living organisms, this requires more skill, but it can be helpful in creating shields. There is less versatility than hydrokinesis, but the coral can be stretched, flattened, and manipulated in any other way to be of use in a fight. Next, there's sand manipulation. This one takes a nice amount of focus and this is when you start having really skilled fighters. The grains of sand can be kept loose, making this easier than coral manipulation, or put together so that the object is now firm. This can mimic hydrokinesis, but it can be more dangerous.
Lastly, there is electrokinesis. This is the most challenging of them all and not everyone can do this. A Jiolan who can create electric charges is considered a great threat and sorcerer. It shows a combination of raw power as well as controlled precision. Jiolans can either let electricity shoot off their body in all directions, or create a thin line of lightning to target someone. The amount of power used in the attack will often determine whether someone lives or not. This is not easy to dodge and many attempts to block will fail.
If you'd like to read more, the first three chapters of the story are on Ao3. This will become a trilogy and the first book is published on Amazon.

Having finally published my book, I think everybody's wrong, the worst file format of all time has got to be .epub. Jesus Christ. Like what if PDFs fucking sucked, and didn't work, and didn't retain any of the formatting information you put into it? and what if what it looked like entirely depended on what app you use to read it?

Hello, Tumblr community!
Tumblr media
I'm thrilled to announce the release of my latest novel, Comfort. This story follows Lillian Isley Jones as she navigates trauma, loss, and the challenges of reinventing herself to embrace the life she was destined for. Drawing from my own experiences as a transgender woman from DeKalb, IL, I aimed to create a narrative that resonates with themes of resilience and self-discovery.
Blurb
After a series of personal tragedies, Lillian Isley Jones finds herself at a crossroads. Determined to rebuild, she embarks on a journey of transformation, confronting past demons and societal expectations. Through unexpected friendships and newfound passions, Lillian learns that true comfort comes from embracing one's authentic self.
Tropes
- Personal transformation
- Found family
- Overcoming adversity
- LGBTQ+ identity
- Emotional healing
Trigger Warnings
- Mentions of trauma and loss
- Discussions of gender dysphoria
- Emotional and psychological struggles
To celebrate its release, Comfort is available for free on Kindle from February 28th through March 5th. I hope Lillian's journey inspires and resonates with you. Your feedback and thoughts would mean the world to me.

Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
Elizabeth Fern Jensen

As writers, I don't think we should fear trying something new. It is suggested that we learn about other books in our genre--other book covers. We are supposed to do all this in order to fit in, but every genre had to start somewhere. There was a first fantasy novel, a first thriller, a first drama book that had nothing to look to outside of the author's own mind. Who knows what's on the horizon for the future of literature? The only way to find out is to take that risk, rely on passion, and see your vision through to the end.
