Danny starts selling random magical artifacts from Pariah Dark's castle to people. Super heroes, super villains, doesn't matter. What do the artifacts do? Fuck if Danny knows! He got rent to pay!

Danny: Yeah, I do! …. After people buy them and get cursed… but it’s not too bad! Like just yesterday, a random guy named Constantine bought a watch from me and he’s still alive! It’s perfectly fine!

Imagine you live in pelican town. The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.

And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...

...

Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!

Surely he can't get any weirder... Right?

i knowww everyone wants maric to be alistair so bad and i know the books present a younger maric like alistair but im so invested in a completely rotten through to the core maric theirin who has sacrificed everything he has ever had and wanted for power and is now left with nothing but that power and no peers, no great loves of his life and no real family. stuck in a marriage with a friend he didnt love, suffocated by loghain's constant presence bc its a reminder of all the way he's lacking and all the things he "allowed" loghain to push him to do (bc its easier to blame loghain than take responsibility ofc) and loghain's refusal to understand or empathise with his struggle, and stuck with a son he doesn't quite know what to do with and who he can never really make understand everything it cost for him to have this life that even maric himself never got.

Curly's little blurb on his steam trading card just keeps reminding me he is a much more miserable person than people realize.

We don't get a lot of his thoughts, inner confliction that aren't bogged down by what Jimmy says or does. Even in the The Last One and Then Another, his dialogue is reflective, not the Curly before the crash but the result of everything. Parts of the him he was are there of course, but also disfigured and warped beyond recognition just like he is physically.

Curly really doesn't think much of himself and desires. He clearly chases fleeting moments of happiness. He doesn't really have prospects for himself, assumes in a similar way to Swansea, that if it should make it happy then he is happy. Though, he hasn't reached the point Swansea did to admit it doesn't. He neither sees the glass half full or empty, it's just water, something he needs and he'll take it from any perspective.

He wasn't running from anything but he's never really been going towards something either. He's listless. I've been using the term complacent to describe how he feels about his life and the closest people (really just Jimmy) in it, but now that word feels too neutral, too nice. Happier than Curly really was. There isn't just one word for it, he's unfulfilled, uncertain, uninspired. There are no active problems he faces and that's the issue, why should he be upset?

I believe he really is a person who doesn't know who he is or wants to be. He follows a structure. I don't think he's suicidal, but he clearly doesn't think about what makes him happy. He's numb. I suppose that is a better word than complacent, used to the feeling even if he hates it. It doesn't hurt so why stop it?

Sometimes items slip out the human's conscious. Objects that, if pointed out, a person immediately remembers existing. But until that moment? Up until they remember, the object is lost. Sometimes these objects wash up on the shores of Pixies' Corp. The Pixies call these foreign objects: Found Things.

Most of the time its massive socks, or a giant clear lid for some tupperware. Other times, they find rarities such as human phones! Pixies enjoy scrapping Found Things, and ditching work to play with Found Things.

Although Jorgen usually ends up sending the items back down to Earth.

I don't even have words for what would happen next. I was gonna say "ford would be devastated" but of course that's an understatement. he would grieve all over again, that years-old wound reopened as the thing that contained stan's entire life is now gone. just like stan himself
