It's only one post old and I'm already invested XD

Honestly the Superpowers AU is still in progress with a solid storyline, but I'd love to share small tidbits of the AU when I drew some more of it! Funfact : The Superpowers AU is actually a Soulmate timer au w/ powers 💀 I never really got to mention that because it'll sound weird without context.

The au is just one giant Tuckington fanfiction in disguise I'll tell you that. It originally started with "imagine, enemies to lovers Tuckington Soulmate au. BUT WITH SUPERPOWERS AND THEY ARE IN OPPOSING SIDES" I just went wild with this idea with a friend. But then I also went to have fun with the other characters in this AU too. I should definitely draw The Criminal!Reds and Blues with a pleased smile while in the background there's a burning Baskin Robbins. When I have the chance I'll share some more info bout this!

As there are many, many, many different approaches to the “soulmate au”s, I decided to make list with all of the concepts I’ve stumbled upon. Please feel free to request any of them, or add on to them if you know of a concept that isn’t covered here or thought of a new one.

1) Soulmate’s curse: You are cursed. The only person this curse has no effect on is your soulmate.

27) Body swap: At a random time, you will swap bodies with your soulmate. The only way to swap back is meeting them.

28) Forgotten:

28.1] No one can remember you when they aren’t interacting with or seeing you, until you meet your soulmate

28.2] At one point in life, after meeting your soulmate, everyone will forget you. Only your soulmate will remember you.

29) Memories: When you touch your soulmate you can share memories. When your soulmate dies, you loose all memories you made together but get to keep the memories you soulmate gave you.

30) Animal: You can shape shift into your soulmate’s favorite animal. When your soulmate dies, you are stuck in whatever form you have at the moment.

31) Soul’s world: You and your soulmate have a world you can shape and shift however you want. You can visit it at any time, but only you and your soulmate can enter.

32) Time:

32.1] Time stops for you and your soulmate at one point. The only way to escape that one moment you are trapped in is finding them.

32.2] You stop aging at a certain age. Only when you meet your soulmate will you continue to age again.

33) Smell: Your soulmate smells intoxicating to you, like a mixture of all of your favorite things. (Careful, some people may get addicted to this smell ;D )

Extra: 34) Different marks: Your soulmate and you don’t necessarily have the same soulmark. It can be any of the ones above, making the hints harder to follow

there’s exactly thirty three minutes left, you already took a shower, brushed your teeth, wore your favorite outfit. You were excited, Really excited. after waiting seventeen years you’ll finally get to meet him. 

You were in the car with your father- Tony Stark and Happy Hogan, Tony Noticed that you were tapping your foot on the car floor too much. 

“You alright?” You faced away from the window to look at him. 

“Yep, Just nervous.” he flashed you a reassuring smile. 

“It’s going to be okay, You’ll meet him when It’s time to meet him.” You sucked in a deep breath and nodded at him. 

“Who are we going to meet anyways?” 

“Just some kids with different kinds of mutations, We could help them or recruit them.” 

“why do I have to go too?” You asked.

“Because...You also have what they have.” 

You laughed a little. “Dad, all I can do Is feel other people’s emotions. and that’s because some strange passed it on to me as he died! I’m not useful!”

“Trust me, You are.” You arrived at the Avengers Facility where the meeting will be held, You saw your Aunt Natasha on the way with Steve. You checked your wrist and there was only two minutes left. 

You walked in the room and saw several people who was about your age, Your dad started talking but you only zoned out, you could feel the ticking of the clock on your wrist joined by your fast heartbeat, You checked again. ten seconds. 

where could they be?

You swallowed the lump on your throat.

four, three. two..

Someone opened the door and you looked up. 

..one.

“Sorry I’m--” The boy with beautiful dark brown hair and eyes met your gaze. “--late.” the last words came out as a whisper. 

“You’re just in time.” You said and you both continued to look at each other in surprise. 

“holy shit, they’re soulmates.” Someone said in the room, Steve gave him look. For the first time in a while you could only focus on one emotion and those emotions are yours. 

“Alright, how about we take this meeting to another room?” Natasha said, Everyone nodded in agreement. and walked out. You finally broke eye contact and walked closer to the boy. 

“I’m..Y/n Stark.” 

“P-Peter Parker. I mean.. That’s me. that’s my name I’m Peter Parker. Oh god of course that’s me.” You could feel his nervousness matching with your own. 

“It’s really nice to meet you Peter Parker.”

Tony let you both go out and get to know each other, You both went to get some burger first. 

“So, Spiderboy. you’ve known dad for a while?” You asked. 

“Yeah..He helped me with stuff and gave ma a new suit..."

“I wonder why I’ve never met you before." You wondered, you dad basically dragged you with him everytime there’s a teenager with superpowers. 

“Where are we going to go after this?”

You ended up going to the library since you mentioned you've never been in a public library before.

"This is cool. Way bigger than the library at home." You said while looking around. You looked back at Peter and he smiled at you.

"You can go pick a book." You smiled at Peter before walking away. When you were out of sight he finally let out the breath he was holding.

He was happy and very nervous, But mostly happy. He wanted to scream out of happiness, But instead he took a deep breath and pulled out a random book from the shelves. He was starting to calm down when you passed by while examining a book. He didn't know why suddenly everything was in slow motion, Probably his spidey senses? No. It was just you and your effect on him as his soulmate.

His heart started to beat faster again. He sighed and mumbled to himself, "Great."

He walked towards the table where you were and sat down in front of you, You were reading a book about Norse Mythology. Probably because you've met a Norse god before and became friends with him.

You both talked about things for a while, And soon you were both comfortable with each other. No one was nervous or shy. It was about 6:28 when your dad texted you that you'll need to go home.

You didn't even realize that the sun was going down. Peter walked you back to the tower you both took the elevator.

"Maybe we can meet again tomorrow? If you're not busy." He offered. You didn't hesitate to say yes.

"Of course. I'm not busy-- I'm actually never busy." You both stared at each other for a while. Finally, Peter leaned in and captured you lips, It was gentle and sweet.

You broke the kiss and at the same time, The elevator doors opened. Your dad stood there, Shocked.

"I- Mr. Stark." Peter started babbling. "Hello sir." You both walked out of the elevator.

"Well, I honestly should've seen this coming." Tony sighed. "Y/n go to your room I'm just going to have a talk with Peter."

"Just don't scare him too much?" You started to walk away and gave Peter a small reassuring smile. You walked away and smiled to yourself as you looked down at your timer, Glad that it was Peter Parker and not someone else.

SOULMATE AU ‘SUBCATEGORIES’ LIST

So I and @queen-of-elves​ had an idea to write down a big list of AU’s. I chose to write down the subcategories for the very popular soulmate au. I hope that you’ll like our lists, we’ve spent quite some time on them. 

I don’t really have a system, I just wrote down the ones I had on my mind or found them on the internet, in the alphabetical order, with a short description of what they’re about. And, the moodboard was made by me! It’s my first one.

After Death Memories You get your soulmate’s favourite memories after they pass away as a parting gift.

Age Once you turn 18/21, you stop ageing until you meet your destined half. 

a/n: I like that the point of it is that you get to spend your entire adulthood with your soulmate and the cool fact, that you can be basically immortal if you don’t find them. It’s a neat concept, sadly, none of the fics I’ve read with this theme (there were like two) didn’t get me like some other themes.

Age + Personality The age difference between the soulmates determines their maturity level. If you’re older than your soulmate, you get a piece of their childishness and they get a piece of your maturity. ** a/n: It definitely was a bummer to try to write it down so it’s easier to understand. I like the complexity. It’s something different and definitely interesting. 

Black and White You see only in black and white until you meet your soulmate. You gain colours at once when you meet your soulmate. ** a/n: It’s nothing new - this prompt is often used but I like it. I like to imagine the wonder soulmates must feel once they get to finally see in colour. If you want a more complex one, check out Colour Gaining.

Body Switch

From time to time, you switch your body with your soulmate but every time you try to get a glimpse of their face, it all gets blurry. ** a/n: It’s a Boy Girl Thing Anyone???

Book Character

It says, that the reason why we feel so attached to some book characters is that they were supposed to be our soulmates but they are in a different parallel universe.

Bruises You have bruises in the same place as your soulmate but they don’t hurt. They are just visible on your skin.

Colour Gaining After meeting your soulmate, you slowly start gaining colours with each emotion you explore with your soulmate.

Flowers Everyone has a flower bud in the centre of their palm - it blooms once you meet your soulmate

Footprints You can see your soulmate’s footprints as a clue to where they are.

Hair colour stripe You have a stripe on your wrist it is the same colour as your soulmate’s hair. It changes if they dye their hair.

Hanahaki Hanahaki disease is a sickness caused by one-sided love. The one in love coughs up flower petals. It stops once the one who is sick gets over them or if the other one falls in love with them. 

Heartbeat Your heart skips a beat when you make eye contact with your soulmate.

Heterochromia You have heterochromia. One eye colour is your soulmate’s, the other one is yours. Your eye colour turns to normal once you meet your soulmate.

Hints Every year on your birthday, you get one hint of who your soulmate is.

Injuries + Flowers If your soulmate hurts themselves, flowers will bloom on your body in the same place they got hurt.

Invisible Your soulmate is invisible to you. You can see them once you reach 18.

I have 974 posts sitting in my draft box. Of those, there are probably 6 threads I keep telling myself to do...but then I forget

2. What is your favourite band/artist?

My current favs are a band called Public with the Score coming in second, but I’m always a sucker for a good Linkin Park song

3. What’s an AU you’ve always wanted to write?

Hmmm maybe like one of those “the name of your soulmate” or “the timer till your death” AU would be pretty cool. I haven’t really done one of those before despite loving them so much

4. How many people do you follow?

893 blogs and slowly growing more by the day lol

5. What’s one thing on your blog that you’re proud of?

My muses. They are so much more developed than they started and I’m so proud of how far they have come as characters.

6. What’s something you like about your own writing?

I really like that I’m able to give more distinct voices to each of the characters I write as. Celina doesn’t sound like Ciara and neither sound like Damon and so on. I’m really happy I’m able to create a variation for different characters.

7. What’s something you want to work on in your writing?

Incorporating more of the senses. For example, I need to remember to not just to show that the muse is in a diner but remember to add what does it smell like, how does the seat feel or is the coffee warm to the touch or is it disgustingly cool as they have the misfortune of feeling it slither down their throat?

8. What’s your favourite season?

Fall. I like how it usually isn’t too cold or hot, Halloween is involved, I can start wearing sweaters again, and I have an excuse to buy hot chocolate again

Technically I have 3, but the third one is pretty inactive.

I love bonsai trees. I don’t own one myself, but I love how cute and small that little tree is.
