I can't draw hands but that won't stop me from talking about them because idk I just wanna talk about hands (mainly made this for the mangle weed trio but decided to add other characters too also a lot of this ignores the canon look of their hands)

Michaels hands are thin and kinda boney and always has perfectly manicured nails (almost constantly sharp because of his retractable claws) although his hands are beat up and shake a little and he has lines on each joint because of the living doll thing

Jacks hands look rough but are always soft and gentle he has scars on each joint because of the springlock suit his nails are usually short

Mikes hands look kinda average but do always feel dried out and look like he's been outside in the cold for a while he also has a bunch of random scars from him playing around while camping as a kid his right thumb twitches involuntarily randomly he also has little care for his hands

Benrey just straight up has claws that kind of discolor their fingers at the tips that then fade into the rest of his skin and has beans like a cat on their palms

Ethan has basically pitch black hands that fade up his arms to around his elbow before becoming his normal shin color his palms are also really rough due to having to walk on all fours all the time

Karl has a lot of scars on his hands from doing experiments and other things also his hands look like deadpools skin but less dramatic because of him going back to normal after mutating (the rest of his body looks like that too because of it although less so on his face)

Simon (ghost) has really beat up hands that have tons of scars but he wears gloves almost all the time because of sensory issues (especially while on missions where he has no clue what he could potentially touch)

Peter has pretty thin hands that have a bunch of scars from constantly fighting and his hands shake from getting hit in the head a bunch

Gwen has similar hands to Peter but she has less scars (her hands still shake)

Duplicate Michael's hands and get rid of the doll joints and you have Elizabeths hands but get rid of the sharp nails too

Evan has the most normal hands of everyone in the mall and he keeps his hands nice

Johnny has perfect looking hands because he tries to make himself look as perfect as he can

Jack (walten) has grey hands that look like he'd give great pats on the head or back (he'd also give great dad hugs)

Gordon has really thin hands that look overly streached outwards that have a few scars and shakes all the time because of his anxiety and trauma

Vanessa (game) has a few cuts on her hands from when William controlled her and she picks at the sides of her fingers

Syzoth has almost scaley skin and because he makes the pizzas he almost always has pizza stuff on his hands unless he's on break

Kenshi has tattoos on his hands (as seen in game) but also likes to take care of his nails and his hands are usually really warm

Harry has the same springlock scars as jack does but his hands look less rough

Crowley has boney hands that are sorta scaley like syzoth's hands and are cold most of the time (he's cold blooded)

Had an idea about who would be Ghost Spider's rival turned friend similar to Batman And Superman. Then an OC character inspired by Akiba Maid War called Phantom Maid would be the answer. Phantom Maid mini bio: Real Name: Jasmine Takahashi Age: 22 Occupation: Maid at the Oniky Doink Cafe in Akihabara Mini Bio: Raised in an orphanage outside of Tokyo. Jasmine begrudgingly works in the Oniky Doink Maid Cafe to pay off damages done due to an attempted break-in. One day she stumbled on the secret Akiba Maid War of 99. Under the mentorship of Nagomi Wahira Jasmine dons the Phantom Maid. Despite the "I don't care" attitude she has, Jasmie is very vigilant. Today in “Seemingly Simple Questions That I Think Too Hard About”: Why are so many fans of the Yugioh franchise so eager to hate on the card game aspect?

I know that the manga is held up to some gold standard. I've even seen people say that Duel Monsters "ruined Yugioh." This is so weird to me because, real talk guys, there would be no Yugioh without Duel Monsters. I don't mean the concept, obviously. The original manga would still exist. But the franchise? The thing that we're all talking about to this day? No way.

I say this because Yugioh has a noticeably clearer direction once it drops the Game of the Week conceit and adopts Duel Monsters as its game of choice. The early manga is episodic, possibly to a fault. It's apparent that Takahashi had some idea of what he was trying to do with the myth arc but not much structure. For instance, we kind of take it for granted now that Yugi's alter ego is a pharaoh. When Shadi shows up in volume 2, however, he only recognizes that Yugi has a power and believes it must be tested. He doesn't say, "Yo, my family has been waiting 3000 years for someone to solve this puzzle because the spirit of the pharaoh is inside it." You think that would have come up. So I'm not entirely sure that Yami Yugi being a pharaoh was the original plan. Heck, I'm not even sure there there was much of a plan at all. I feel like so much creative energy was probably put into coming up with each Game of the Week and a story to go with it that the larger myth arc kind of fell by the wayside.

Moviebob Chipman once claimed that "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" acts as an in-continuity soft reboot of the entire Amazing Spider-Man comic due to the drastic changes in status quo. Duelist Kingdom serves a similar function in Yugioh. It introduces a new overarching villain, Pegasus. The closest thing we had to an old overarching villain, Kaiba, has had a literal reset. He's now less malevolent, cares for his little brother, and is set up as someone Yami Yugi can respect as a rival. Jonouchi's character motivation has changed. Before he only wanted money to pay off his dad's debts. Now he suddenly has a sister that he needs to cure from Soap Opera Blindness, like, right now. And the danger of the Millennium Items is no longer a thing that pops up every few volumes. Instead it hovers over all proceedings because we know why Yugi needs to save his grandfather. You can, in fact, start from Duelist Kingdom and have little need for more context. That's probably why NAS chose to do just that for the second series anime.

(That's not to say NAS did things perfectly. The loosely adapted manga chapters that shoehorn in the card game are ... weird. The choice not to include an episode on Yugi solving the Millennium Puzzle? Kind of baffling. And the attempt to mix "The Cards with Teeth" with Death-T is a little awkward in its execution.)

In any case, the story gets so much tighter around this time. It's where the Hero's Journey portion of the narrative actually starts. And I put most of the credit for this on the fact that the tournaments have a built in context for each duel. Y'know, because it is a tournament. People have to duel to progress. That means less creative energy had to go into the set up of each game and more could go into the planning of the myth arc. I mean, yeah, I guess it's cool that originally Yami Yugi had a fondness for disproportionate and often violent retribution. But if Yugioh had stayed an episodic Game of the Week manga it would have died on the page. And you know how I know this? Because the Toei anime, despite trying to introduce some kind of overarching plot with Kaiba's Game Masters, despite how ‘cool’ everyone thinks it is in retrospect, still couldn't manage to make it past 27 episodes.

The Vitamin IV at The Nippon Budoukan?

In May, Niigaki-san and Mitsui (Aika)-san graduated ("Morning Musume. Concert Tour 2012 Spring ~Ultra Smart~ Niigaki Risa Mitsui Aika Graduation Special" 5/18/2012), and the the 11th Gen "Clear-Faced Diva" audition was announced. Although I was interested in the audition, I felt a little impatient for it since my seniors were graduating so quickly, one after another. To us, Takahashi-san was our first leader. Takahashi-san and Niigaki-san were both 5th Gen members, so they were at the very top, and there was a feeling of unease once they left, plus just barely making it in time along with them, Mitsui-san (8th Gen) left as well, so there were of course a lot of feelings of "Will we be okay?"

It was during this time, when we had a concert at the Budoukan upcoming, that I had to have a vitamin IV drip. We had a program scheduled at such a large venue that I got extremely nervous, which pulled my physical health down, and exposed my own weakness. When we went to the Yokohama Arena in 2014 I was well enough, so in that way I had grown stronger, but up until that time I had to have a vitamin drip every time.

With both of my seniors graduating, the ratio of the group ended up heavily leaning towards newer members, and I thought, "What will we do if we put Michishige-san and Tanaka-san into an uncontrollable situation?"

The truth is, when I look at Michishige-san and Tanaka-san, I feel like I unexcusably caused them trouble, but right before Tanaka-san's graduation, the distance between Tanaka-san and Michishige-san and the rest of the members became very close, so it was very relieving. I think the other members felt that, too, and the 9th and 10th Gen realized we had to do better for the sake of our juniors! 

Masaki-chan really grew closely attached to Tanaka-san, calling after her "Tanaka-saan! Tanaka-saan!" all the time. I think Tanaka-san herself didn't know how to meet her juniors halfway. Masaki-chan demolished her wall rapidly, the first one to get around that wall.

The play "Stacies Girls Re-killing Theatre" (6/6~6/12 2012) left an impression on me. When I perform in plays, either my taste in singing changes, or the way I sing changes. To be able to sing in a musical fashion, I learn how to sing with the power of expressiveness, rather than with skill/technique, it was a good experience.

But, acting itself...... I never felt that it was my strong point. Of course, I did my best because it was something I had to do. Because there was someone who wrote the script with all their might, someone who directed us, someone who wrote songs for it, those of us acting it out couldn't cut any corners. It was fun to become a character that was so different from myself, and it was a chance to grow in a way that I didn't usually get to, so I'm really glad that I got to do it.

The final night of War of the Worlds happened last night in Villa Park, IL, in the afterglow of the Bullet Club’s All In show selling out 10,000 seats inside of thirty minutes. Congratulations to them. I won’t be there. This was apparently a TV taping so I guess there are spoilers here. Jay Lethal missed this show as well, having suffered an injury in Toronto on Friday.

During the intermission, Cody Rhodes and Marty Scurll had it out over who will win the ROH World Title first. Bully Ray attacked Flip Gordon during an interview segment too. The crowd were apparently not very happy with the result of the World TV Title match, and were all the way behind LIJ in the main event.

Meanwhile, in other NJPW partner promotions, Revolution Pro in the UK had their Epic Encounter 2018 show this past Friday 5/11/2018 at York Hall, Bethnal Green in London. The reigning Undisputed British Heavyweight champion Tomohiro Ishii successfully defended his title in a hard knock encounter with Keith Lee, in what was described as brutal and very good. It’s one of Lee’s final indie matches before starting full time with NXT. 

Prior to that, the Undispited British Tag Team titles were defended by Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Jr., who defeated CCK (Chris Brookes & Travis Banks) by Gotch Style Piledriver to retain their titles. Before that one, current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay beat El Phantasmo in a non-title bout. There were other matches featuring Shane Strickland, Matt Riddle & Jeff Cobb on this show, so it will be worth checking out on RevProOnDemand.com once it hits.

Tomorrow, we get the 12th edition of Lion’s Gate, featuring Daisuke Sekimoto of Big Japan in a featured match that you won’t want to miss, as well as another mini-reunion of TEAM 2000/nWo Japan/Team Wolf. It will be shown live on NJPWWorld.
