I have a hot take and opinion. I find it so strange when other systems say they support all systems (those with DID/OSDD), but the moment they have differences within their system, suddenly some of you become cold.
A common one is how people feel when a person talks about their inner world as a real place. Why does that bother you so much? I’m genuinely wondering. And don’t hit me with the “it’s weird, it’s not okay, that’s not how systems work” or something else that is absolutely ridiculous. I want to know a full-depth answer on why someone with DID or OSDD (a fellow system) talking about their inner headspace causes such distress for you?
In my opinion, who really cares lol? Why are we policing how people interact with their system if they are a legitimate traumagenic system that is not spreading misinformation about systems? It’s like when people say they have a front room, cool! If someone talks about how it’s like an empty void, also cool! A person mapping out their inner world or drawing it? Lovely! But then god forbid someone talks about the inner world like a real place (which usually they know it’s not real as far as IRL goes).
It’s always systems support systems until they’re a little different from you (and no I do NOT include endo’s/nontraumagenic people, they are NOT systems). A professional wouldn’t put down someone for talking about their inner world so why should you?

Systems of tumblr I seek feedback yet again.
I see a lot of discourse online about referring to your alters as parts because it's dehumanizing.
Our alters don't mind being called parts, and some of us even refer to ourselves as IDs, but we don't want to do this if it actually is harmful.
Is it okay to refer to yourself as a part or even ID? some of our alters when introducing themselves say, "My ID is (name)" instead of "My name is (name), I'm an alter/part" because it works better for them.
TLDR: Is it okay to use part or ID instead of alter / sysmate? Or is that harmful?

Write about your system prompts/ask game
(You can use these as a personal list or an ask game. Only answer as much as you feel comfortable doing)
Who was the first alter you were aware of? Are they still around now? Was this before or after system discovery
What is your system count going off of vibes and not accuracy? How does it compare to the actual or estimated count
What terms do you use to describe yourself? Do you opt for more medical language or non-medical language? Do you have a preference either way?
Are there any popular system roles that your system either doesn't use or doesn't have?
What are your fronting patterns like? Anything you feel is unique to what you've seen online?
What percentage of time do you spend in front? How does this compare to others (number does not need to be exact)
How do levels of elaboration and distinctness range? Do most parts share the same levels of each, or does it range a lot? Does it range for one and not both?
Do you have an inner world? Did it exist upon system discovery or was it self created? Do you want one/do you use it often
How have internal dynamics changed overtime? this could be anything from structure to inner world to main fronters
Are there any common motifs or themes within your system
Assign a system superlative to anyone in your system (you can do multiple if you can think of them and you can also assign one to yourself)
Describe anything else about how your system works structurally you feel like sharing
Do you have any items that 'belong' to specific parts?
Do you share skills? What about method of utilizing them?
Are there parts you wish to connect to better with? You can also mention parts who you know want to connect with others
System pvp: who wins in a fight
System pvp: who could you never fight
System pvp: who is definitely losing
Do you know any systems irl
What are your thoughts on fusion? Have you considered it? How do other parts feel

hello, system community!
i’m trying to find information/hear personal experiences of systemhood from others, if any of you would be so kind as to help me!
particularly, i would like to hear from those who identify as endogenic or otherwise non-trauma formed systems. of course, i would love to hear from trauma-formed systems as well! it’s just that i am one, and so that’s the community i have been most involved with & heard from already.
feel free to DM me anonymously if you don’t want to share publicly. i won’t post anything. my aim is to hear from others so that i can form my own opinions, figure out the right direction to go for independent research, and to simply understand others more.
thank you very much in advance, and i hope you all are having a wonderful day 💙
(please be mindful & respectful with what is said if you reply publicly. i am looking for open discussion, not arguments or hate.)

hello! I’m not a system myself, but I’m doing some research for a friend of mine who’s questioning.
I was wondering if you could do a ‘the people wanna know’ about what different kinds of systems there are/how it can present, or something in that vein?
Thanks, love your stuff!
The People Wanna Know: System Types
Disclaimer: We are by no means experts in this at all. We are quite new to the whole being plural thing and there is A LOT to learn when it comes to plurality and systems, especially in types and "microlabels". These microlabels are VERY helpful when someone is trying to sort out if they are plural or not especially if they are an atypical system like us. They can make you feel validated and at home when previously there was fear and confusion. We also want to suggest that you continue your deep dive outside of this post! We hope you give you a launch pad into the complex world of plurality but do not let this be the end of the research! I will be using definitions mostly from Pluralpedia. Systemhood and plurality is very under researched so many of the labels you'll see are created by community members that are then adopted by the greater community. That all being said, as validating as these microlabels can be they can sometimes also have the opposite effect if they don't fit all the way. If you guys land on them being plural, we encourage you to leave the microlabels behind especially if those labels are close to their experiences but not quite accurate in all ways. 🛸I found when identifying specifically as a Median system, it lead to a few denial spirals because that label mostly fit our experience but not all the way or all the time which lead to us question our experiences making it harder to accept and understand ourselves. I personally find just calling myself plural or a system is enough and allows me the freedom to have my own unique experience as a human being with an atypical brain that science is only just starting to research and understand rather than trying to define my experiences filtered through a ill fitting label that doesn't change with me as we grow and learn. But, if you guys find a label that fits like a glove CONGRATS! Use it, love it, where it with pride!
ANYWAY, THE PEOPLE WANNA KNOW!
System Types
DIAGNOSABLE SYSTEMS (labels recognized by the DSM-V) DID OSDD 1 OSDD 1A OSDD 1B OSDD 2 OSDD 3 OSDD 4 UDD
None of those fit? Build Your Own System
I will be giving short definitions of each label. If you want more information each term will take you to a more in depth description.
ORIGINS (why the system formed) Traumagenic: Origins were trauma related. Endogenic: Umbrella term for origins that are related to something other than trauma, though trauma can still be a factor but not always. SUBCATEGORIES: (link to microlabels of the subcategories bellow) Created: Systems that were created intentionally for any reason. Adaptive: Origins that were related to trauma or other adversity. Spontaneous: For systems that seemed to just appear one day seemingly without cause. Unknown: A system who's origins are unknown, unclear, or still being sorted out. Mixed: Multiple origin labels can be applied to these systems.
CONSCIOUSNESS (how communication, conscious connection, and shared existence feels with in a system) Monoconscious: Shared consciousness between members where everyone thinks the same thing together as individuals. Polyconscious: Everyone in a system has their own thoughts and mind that are separate from each other. Hydraconscious: Everyone has their own thoughts and mind but in a collective consciousness. This may feel like everyone talking out loud about different things at the same time. Cephaconscious: When member are in or near the front together they have a shared monoconscious experience but when they are not in the front they have their own separate thoughts and mind. Mutoconscious: When member are in or near the front together they have a shared monoconscious experience but when they are not in the front they have a hydraconscious experience. SYSTEM SEPARATION (how individual are the individuals) Partitionary System: Individuals are very distinct. They do not share memories and often experience time loss. Median Systems: Individuals are less distinct and blend with each other more. These systems often don't experience typical amnesia. Blurian: Systems who share 100% of memories regardless of who's fronting. These system may also not experience Amnesia. (Edit: Here is some more resources for things that blur the line of plurality and systemhood ) Unrelated to the question but maybe to your situation here is a link to help questioning systems
I hope this was helpful let me know if you have any questions or need clarification!!
REMEMBER: You're gonna be ok. You're gonna figure it out. Be kind and gentle with yourself and others. Asks are open. Have a nice day.

Why are most Endogenics misinformed about DID and OSDD?
This is a question to Anti-Endos , but Pro can also answear
We now often saw and realized that Endogenics belive DID and OSDD Alters are their own invidiuals and don't let themselfes get convinced otherwhise
We thought that there aren't many of those Endogenics , but it seems to be more than i thought. It can be really bad for people with DID and OSDD because this belief can simply worsen barriers , we shouln't need to show proof to prove this belief is bad.
You can ask any Psychatrist , the belief that Alters are their own invidiual worsens barriers , this is why for recovery the knowlege that they are parts of a whole is needed.

Making an alt account so no one knows how confused I am.
But I have a question. For those that "switch" or have someone else fronting or controlling or whatever word you want to use. Do you as the host remember it?
Because I do.
I may not be *there* but I can still see.
I don't relate to when people keep talking about amnesia or amnesia barriers because I just don't get it.
Or maybe I don't? How much are you supposed to remember.
I can remember going to a gas station, but it took me a moment to remember if I went in or out.
I remember going to the store and picking up like 4 things, but I don't remember really any conversations in the store or what I was feeling.
But you're not supposed to remember those details..right?

Morning guys, what’s up? I have a question! P-DID systems— can you guys explain to me how exactly P-DID works? Not in a way of saying it’s fake!! Definitely not.
I don’t come across many people with P-DID so it would be cool to know more information about it! Like can someone have P-DID and OSDD?? (Seen someone say that). Do you guys have alter states but a lack of fronting? I’m just curious to know more!

One struggle that our system has is overthinking what parts are actually there. We can have a part in front and realize that they're acting differently than normal, and we have to try not to immediately think, "This is a new part, not one we know of."
An old host did this whenever the vibe felt even the slightest bit off, which led to hs believing we had, quite literally, 10 times the number of parts we actually had. And though that host is no longer here, we still find a bit of trouble with that being our first thought.
Does any other system experience this?

Hello, I have some questions for the medians on Tumblr. This is specifically for medians who lean closer to the singlet side of the spectrum than the multiple side. Feel free to answer as many or as little of these questions as you want, I just would like to hear more experiences. (I tried to make the wording be inclusive as possible, but let me know if something is wrong.)
In your own words, how would you describe yourself/selves? As in, if you had to give some kind of metaphor to someone who does not understand medianhood, plurality, etcetera at all, how would you do so?
Do you distinguish yourself/selves at all? Like, are there any lines between one or the other? Such as having different names or different pronouns; or even something like you all like/use the same name(s) or pronoun(s), but some of you prefer one name/pronoun slightly more than the others?
Do you have any communication with each other? Or, is it more like you're simply existing in the same body with each other, like how two co-workers can be aware of each other but never really talk?
Can you/yourself/selves switch or front? What does it feel like, and how does it work? Or can you not switch/front?
If you are/in a chimera/hybrid system (have both multiple and median headmates), can you distinguish between multiple and median members? How so?
(Sort of a continuation of the above) again, if you are/in a chimera/hybrid system, and if you have a headspace of any sort, are there any differences between median and multiple headmates there?
If you/yourself/selves are also another type of alterhuman, does that have any influence? Do certain selves feel more of a connection to a certain alterhuman identity more than others, or are you all equally connected to that identity?
#I am asking these because I keep being directed towards median spaces#but I still find myself not relating to a lot of the medians I see. With only the rare few posts that I feel can actually be relatable to#what I'm going through now.#(< related to the Saarn timelines thing)#So yeah this does come from a lot of questioning of my own experiences.😭#alterhuman#plural#plural aligned#plurallet#plural system#plurality#median system#actually median#Syslet#hybrid system#system questions
