10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Probably Hey, Good Lookin’, the first fic wherein my version of Johnny Topside showed up, just cause I was real excited to finally be showing him to my readers, especially since it was a different kind of setting for my Deltaclair stuff. Was real interesting writing Delta actually speaking and being heard and whatnot c: Plus, the fic in general was just all. sweet and romantic and whatnot that it made me all warm and fuzzy inside

Any of y’all who follow this blog know that my favourite thing ever to write/daydream extensively about is Protective Delta going apeshit when Sinclair is in trouble. Obviously, in this scene Sinclair isn’t actually in danger - he just had a nightmare - but hey Delta didn’t know that. He just heard Sinclair scream for him and came running. and ended up going through a wall to get to him lmao. Delta was ready to THROW DOWN (and obvs once you get to the scene in the kitchen it becomes clearer that his panic was also cause of some Rapture Induced Trauma so it has some harsher in hindsight qualities that I love). y'all KNOW that roar meant "NOT MY AUGUSTUS". Plus, Sinclair being savvy enough to know what’s about to happen and diving for safety just before Delta comes barreling through - he knows how Delta is

I just think this is one of the more tender moments I’ve written for these two, with Sinclair falling asleep and waking up to find that Delta laid him down from where he was sitting up, put a blanket over him and then sat down to watch over him as he slept, with the added detail that he’s sitting in front of Sinclair, as in to shield him, all because he told Sinclair earlier in the fic that he would protect him. And it’s telling that Sinclair never woke up prior to this moment, even while Delta was moving him around. Nobody’s gonna be getting to Sinclair tonight - Delta will see to that

I honestly think this here is the cutest fucking thing I’ve ever written for this ship. For context, this whole fic was my excuse to talk about my hcs regarding Sinclair and Delta’s sexualities (it was written for Pride, after all). It was the first fic of mine to officially confirm that, yes, when I write him, Sinclair is a gay man (I implied it in A Train Car Fit for Two but it was a throwaway comment that I think people missed), but more importantly, it talked about how Delta only has eyes for Sinclair. Literally nobody else interests him in that kind of manner. The narrative literally mentions that if Sinclair were a woman instead, Delta would still love her just the same as he does this Sinclair

And this is his response to Sinclair asking him what he likes (“Now, I know it ain’t your top priority and you’re well within your rights ta tell me to butt out, but since we’re on the topic…what is it that you especially like?”). Just to say ‘well…I only like you?’ Just. how innocent and honest Delta is with it, combined with the fact that Sinclair is literally laying in Delta’s lap in this scene just. makes it for me, if I may toot my own horn c’:

G: Gentle | How do they react to gentle tickles?

Most of the time they’re relaxing and can help him calm down if he’s particularly grumpy or tense that day. Like if he comes home annoyed from dealing with debtors or Izaya lol gentle tickles on his shoulders and back can get rid of the lingering stank face lolol

However- he’s more sensitive to gentle tickles rather than rough tickles, so if you try it on some specific areas, he will start squirming a bit and growling out chuckles

Rambling a bit here but it can appear that he’s not ticklish a lot of the time, but prolonged gentle tickling in spots like his neck or under his arms will slowly but surely break him down until he’s fully laughing 🥰

H: Habits | As a lee/ler or both, do they have specific habits when it comes to tickling?

As a lee: Whenever he’s being tickled, he usually tries to grab on to something- the couch cushion, the sheets, his own hair- to make sure he doesn’t accidentally hurt his ler. He doesn’t squirm too crazy, but he knows that even a light knock from his elbow would hurt like a bitch so he’s careful about it! Well, if he likes his ler at least lmao then again if someone who he didn’t like was tickling him, they’d be lucky to make it out alive He’ll also let out little growls at first when he’s still trying to fight back his laughter

As a ler: I don’t know if these would be habits, per se, but I can describe some things he does! He tends to be very blunt when he’s tickling someone; making observations about their reactions or about where he’s tickling in a way that’s not even meant to be teasing but is still flustering (“This spot is pretty bad, huh?” “Ah, you jump a lot when I squeeze here”) He’s also the type to give out some pretty scary threats if you were annoying him/being a brat before he started tickling you- “Oh, you’ll die if i don’t stop? Then die laughing”

O: Online | Text messaging and social media, do they have some kind of online tickly behavior to tease their lee or ler with?

Hmmm I don’t see Shizuo as very tech-savvy so the most he’d use is text messaging, and even then he’s not super teasy with it. He’s a very face to face kind of guy, you know? But I could see him sending little ominous threats if his lee was being annoying or cheeky over text. Just something vague like [You’re really gonna get it once I’m home] and then ignoring any follow up questions afjsfdhsk

1. who is/are your comfort character(s)?

Not to be mentally ill on main but the first handful that come to mind are Handsome Jack (and Timothy), Terra from Kingdom Hearts, Ingo from Pkmn, Oswald Cobblepot (Gotham especially) and Kakashi from Nart.

9. which do you prefer, hot coffee or cold coffee?

I do not like coffee. But beyond that I actually don't like most hot drinks! Hot chocolate is one of the few exceptions.

14. do you love the smell of earth after it rains?

Yeah! I don't miss most things about my old house in GA but I do miss being out in the woods after it rained. It was always so nice and peaceful afterward--especially hearing the rain falling out in the distance as it drips from the trees after the actual rain stopped? 10/10

31. what type of music keeps you grounded?

I. Don't actually have an answer to this one! I don't listen to music as much as I used to just bc of my work schedule and stuff but when I do its literally just my liked songs on Spotify playing

I am Habib from Gaza. I am married and have four children: Menna, 12 years old, Adam, 10 years old (suffering from quadriplegia), Maria, 6 years old, and Ezz, one year old. Although they are young, they have survived previous wars, but this current war is the most difficult of all. This is a war of genocide, and the difficulty of the war lies in the inability to meet the needs of my son Adam, who needs special care.

Over the past ten months, we have been caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Our once peaceful home in Khan Yunis has been reduced to rubble, and now we find ourselves displaced in Deir al-Balah, living in squalid conditions in a makeshift tent on the streets. The devastation not only deprived us of our physical shelter, but also destroyed my livelihood - the once thriving business that supported our family's well-being, is now in ruins. The daily struggle for survival is exacerbated by the scarcity of basic necessities such as clean water, adequate sanitation and basic medical supplies

Our home was the place where we found hope and safety, and where we made precious memories. Losing him was like losing years of our lives.

Not only that, they destroyed my source of livelihood, burned it, and demolished it with bulldozers, and today I am without a home and without a job. I was working in a store I owned that met the needs and expenses of my family

Living in tents is miserable. There is a lack of drinking water, hot sun rays, and strange insects that have terrified my children. What hurts me most is my young son Ezz, who I see growing up in an unclean environment and with no healthy food for him. I believe he has not received his right to life.

At this stage, my husband and I decided to go to you and create an account on the Go Fund Me website and ask you to help us in these difficult times until we get out of Gaza, from the land of war to the land of peace. We will spend it by paying the amount to coordinate entry through the Rafah land crossing, which connects Gaza to the State of Egypt, since, as I mentioned, they charge an adult $5,000, but depending on the pressures, crises, and waiting, the amount may reach $7,000 per person, and children $2,500 to $4,000.

We will also use it for the rest of the travel and safe transportation expenses to provide for all family members.

okay so, everyone is always telling buck that eddie has a resting bitch face, right? and buck is so so so adamant that he doesn’t and he fights everyone on it. he really can’t understand what people mean. he’s baffled when chimney makes jokes about eddie scaring patients with his stony expression. he is so confused when maddie tells him she was a bit intimated by eddie before they ever talked. buck just can’t believe that this is something people think.

until one day hen shows buck a video of eddie just chilling at the station while reading a magazine. and he looks so serious, so frowny. a little bitchy if buck is being totally honest. and then, in the video, buck walks up the stairs and as soon as eddie sees him he lights up. suddenly he’s all sunshine and rainbows. he’s all smiley and he just looks so soft.

and that’s how buck finds out that eddie does have a resting bitch face but buck never sees it because eddie always looks ecstatic when buck is near.

Bruce Wayne is canonically a very handsome man (he is called a "pretty boy" and he is in his 40s, for fuck's sake), and he is pretty famous as a rich philanthropist who doesn't want to leave his awful cursed crime infested city. So, there must be a ton of people thirsting over him on the internet. Fancams, edits, fanfics and imagines ("kidnapped with Bruce Wayne 😍 by a Gotham rogue"), the whole charade!

And anytime one of the batkids stumbles on a thirst post, they have the most dramatic disgusted reaction, loudly gagging, before sending the link to the batkids chat, because if they must suffer, then they should all suffer. Clicking on a link in this groupchat is like playing russian roulette, and getting rickrolled is a good ending.
