THE YARDS (2000) Grade: C
I didn’t find it very entertaining and kinda predictable to be honest. Great cast. James Caan was good in his part. Mark Wahlberg was average, someone else would had done more with the character. He always had the same face in this movie.

****Celebrities examples are all sun sign placements, but description would be more for rising+sun.
👀Sagittarius placements always have cat eyes and really luscious lips 👄 they’re like the siren 🚨 personified xxx I personally think they’re some of the most beautiful people that have graced the earth- so sensual, so sessy. ex: Zoe Kravitz, Scarlett Johansson, Alexa Demie, Lucy Liu, Jane Birkin, Brad Pitt, Gemma Chan,
👀Cancer placements …y’all are SO ethereally beautiful, like what ? You all look like fallen angels: full, round face, soft eyes and perfectly pouty lips. So angelic, so divine 👼not stereotyping but y’all do look a little moony lol 🌝 ex: Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Kali Uchis, Hoyeon Jung, Lana Del Rey, Hope Sandoval,
👀Taurus placements..your bone structure is insane. This one’s obvious because Taurus is ruled by the planet of beauty, Venus, but there’s this grace and goddess/god like energy of Taurus placements. Earth mama/daddy energy. 🌎🍃Nurturing, grounding peaceful. 🕊ex: Gigi Hadid, Robert Pattinson, George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Travis Scott, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Penelope Cruz
👀Gemini placements: there’s this untouchable kinda beauty to y’all. Almost like you’re not from this planet. Eternal youthfulness (Mercury ruled y’all) feminine yet masculine at the same time or vice versa. 🧔‍♀️Very gender fluid. Mischievous look in ur eyes. Deep set eyes that have perma Smokey eye filter. Smaller frame ex: Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Lily Rose Depp and Johnny Depp, Tom Holland, Princess Nokia, Emma Chamberlain, Emily Ratajkowski, Stevie Nicks, Naomi Campbell
👀Capricorn placements..this one’s personal because I have many caprisun placements, but everyone always says I have great bone structure. I see that in a lot of Capricorn celebrities. Great smiles (Capricorn rules the teeth), oddly goat 🐐 like but in the best way possible. Beautiful skin and usually blessed with great hair as well. Actually really ageless, no joke, we ages backwards I swear…a little elf like 🪄🧝‍♀️ ex: my boy Timothee Chalamet, Suki Waterhouse, FKA Twigs, Kate Moss, Hunter Schafer, Jared Leto, Francois Hardy, Florence Pugh
👀Scorpio placements: for real, y’all are so frickin sexy. Like damn.. you got those bedroom eyes and killer smile. Even if they’re not traditionally handsome (like Libras lol) there’s always something about Scorpio placements that draws you to them magnetically. Hypnotizing. Also there’s a kinda vampire 🧛‍♀️ vibe to them ngl. ex: Ryan Gosling, Leo DiCaprio, Travis Barker, Adam Driver, Winona Ryder, WILLOW, Joaquin Phoenix, Drake
👀Pisces placements: otherworldly beauty, like so so dreamy. They have that “dream girl” “dream guy” aura to them. Enchanting, intoxicating. 🔮Neptune rules Pisces and there is a undeniable fantastical quality to y’all. The kinda peeps that you can’t really take your eyes off of. Old soul energy with deep kindness in their eyes. Mermaid/merman energy 🧜‍♀️🧜 ex: Rihanna, Bad Bunny, Ansel Elgort, Olivia Wilde, Liz Taylor, Lupita Nyung’O, Drew Barrymore, Erykah Badu, Kurt Russell
👀Libra placements : I always tell people that Libras are gods favorite. They got the charm+ the looks+the artistic talent. 🙏Sheesh 🙄 There’s a kinda sweetness to their looks, yet you know they’re hiding something from you. It’s the same trickster energy as Gemini. If you were to create the perfectly balanced ⚖️human face, it would be on a Libra for sure. ex: Kim K, A$AP Rocky, Doja Cat, Brigitte Bardot, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, Dakota Johnson
👀Leo placements: there’s def a cat like energy to y’all- cat eyes, cat nose- just the way you carry yourself is regal 👸 you’re royalty and you know it. Big messy beautiful hair and even bigger luminous smiles. Your aura is like a big ball of light. Super star 🌟 quality. ex: Madonna, J Lo, Austin Butler, Jason Momoa, Chris Hemsworth, Mila Kunis, Cara Delevingne, Obama, Charlize Theron
👀Aquarius placements: Def something really striking about y’all, it’s like a beauty you can’t describe in words. 👀Tend to be quite slender in frame. Badass energy. 🏍Intimidating, yet warm. Contradicting to a T and that’s Uranian energy for you. ex: Harry Styles, Emma Roberts, Christian Bale, The Weeknd, Kid Cudi, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Shakira, Paris Hilton
👀Aries placements: there’s a childlike 👶🏻👶🏻innocence to your look, yet because of the Martian influence there is a fiery 🔥quality to ur looks and aura. Super sexy, yet looks like you wouldn’t hurt a fly. Smaller frame usually ex: Emma Watson, Paul Rudd, Kristen Stewart, Saoirse Ronan, Lady Gaga, Kiera Knightly, Pharrell
👀Virgo placements: Virgo is the virgin🧘‍♀️ maiden, and earthy energy of Mercury. There is a youthful quality to Virgo placements, just like Gemini, but it’s more feminine and soft in nature because Virgo is a feminine sign. Y’all have this wisdom in your eyes, like you see all the worlds hurts. Kind, gentle, yet a hidden sexiness to y’all. The kinda peeps who look innocent on the outside but u know there’s something quite tempting about them. 😉Smaller frame usually ex: Keanu Reeves, Salma Hayek, Zendaya, Beyoncé, Blake Lively, Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Sydney Sweeny
That’s all y’all 💜 thanks for reading 🙏

Is there a masterlist of, like, actors and celebrities that have come forward for trans rights?
I know the internet has all sorts of collections of people who've done something messed up and those always depress me but reading about David Tennant being supportive in the face of the UK government and current legislation and stuff really hit me and I'd love to be able to see who else is out there standing up for us and what's right.
If not, here's a list I'm putting together, feel free to add to it or add context in the notes if you want! I'm including celebrities who have affirmed their support for trans family members even if they're not doing other activism. I'm also only listing celebrities I know of, and this list does not in any way endorse any problematic stuff any of them may have done outside of the topic.
Just making this list is cheering me up a lot tbh

Deadline can reveal that the letter has now been signed by over 1,000 actors, including stars such as Charlize Theron, Joaquin Phoenix, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cobie Smulders and Pedro Pascal, as well as, curiously SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher.
Other names recently added include Paul Giamatti, Bradley Whitford, Rose Byrne, Olivia Wilde, Ewan McGregor, Aubrey Plaza, Rooney Mara and Sarah Paulson.
The Letter
“Solidarity demands honesty, and we need to make clear our resolve. A strike brings incredible hardships to so many, and no one wants it. But we are prepared to strike if it comes to that. And we are concerned by the idea that SAG-AFTRA members may be ready to make sacrifices that leadership is not. We hope you’ve heard the message from us. This is an unprecedented inflection point in our industry, and what might be considered a good deal in any other years is simply not enough,” the letter noted.
“This is not a moment to meet in the middle, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that the eyes of history are on all of us. We ask that you push for all the change we need and protections we deserve and make history doing it. If you are not able to get all the way there, we ask that you use the power given to you by us, the membership, and join the WGA on the picket lines,”

10 Favorite Movies
Tagged by @aeide, @sleeplessincarcosa, & @brasideios. Thanks for thinking of me everyone :) This was harder than I expected! I rarely watch movies for some weird reason, so subject to frequent change and in no particular order...
1. Fight Club (1999)
Just for the shock value. After finishing this movie, I immediately had to start it over and rewatch on the spot. Only other movie that’s ever done that to me was Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. I love a good concept drop that changes everything.
2. Pride & Prejudice (1995)
I’m willing to die on this hill, folks. 1995 beats 2005 at every angle. You can’t beat Colin Firth at regency drama. King’s Speech? Importance of Being Ernest? Also every moment of this film is crisp and poignant. I turn it on in the background every few years. A solid comfort movie.
3. Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Live stunts, which are CRAZY… The shot clipping. The lack of dialogue. The stylistic choices as a whole are just fantastic. And the overarching themes! Not to mention Charlize Theron. And Furiosa being an amputee! SO GOOD.
4. Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001)
It’s cliche, but I’ll never stop finding new things to love about this trilogy. Or admiring Tolkien’s complete obsession and immersion in his own fictional world. The fact that entire books are made from pieced-together napkin scribblings left scattered all over his life is just writer goals.
5. Dirty Dancing (1987)
Guilty pleasure. Despite being a truly horrific dancer myself, I’m a bit obsessed with it. Being able to connect to your body like that… not a very familiar feeling for me 😂 And I have a serious soft spot for Patrick Swayze.
6. Hamilton (2020)
Cheating here, but it’s on Disney+ so I’m not apologizing. I think it takes an undeservedly rosy outlook on history, but the first time I watched this I was floored. Leslie Odom Jr. and Christopher Jackson, in particular, KILLED those performances. Unbelievably good. And I’m weirdly obsessed with the way they use dance and sound to make everything so seamless and alive, while completely in the background is just 🙌
7. Overboard (1987)
TERRIBLE movie. Do NOT recommend. Extremely problematic on every level. But somehow it found its way to the top of my guilty pleasure list and I can’t extract it. But that hard work montage? And the fact that Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are life partners ❤️
8. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)
My cliche childhood horse obsession loved this movie. But my adult self loves it so much more. I’ve only recently been learning how they handled the representation. And that metaphor, folks. That METAPHOR! No clue how this got made, but I’m behind it.
9. Gladiator (2000)
Even with what I assume are egregious inaccuracies, this is such a fun movie with such a great soundtrack. I love the aesthetic. Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix… the cinematography… That dagger at the end… The commentary on power. And it came out in the golden era of YouTube fanvids. I still can’t listen to this song without seeing specific sword strokes 😂
10. Rogue One (2016)
Jyn Erso is my spirit animal. I love that neither Jyn or Cassian are traditional leads. I love that the team chose NOT to go for the cliche romance, which gives it so much more character and relational depth IMO. I love that it’s hopeless and also …uplifting? And I extra love that it gives (what I perceive to be) a major nod to KotOR’s Unknown World.
Tagging @ruzzsta214, @egoborderline, @xeagle-bearerx, @raenacreates, @inlovewithassassins2, @justalittlerayofpitchblack, @newengland-shrike, @fenharel-enaste, @fanonisrealcanon, @ratcready. As always, no pressure though :)

Looking Ahead to 2024
With the new year finally here, I thought this would be a good time to list the films I am most excited about coming to theaters in 2024. So I present the films I am most excited about coming out this year (in alphabetical order):
Ballerina
Spinning out of the John Wick films comes this action thriller starring Ana de Armas that takes place between John Wick: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.
Beetlejuice 2
Apparently, it took 36 years for someone to say his name three times because Beetlejuice is back! Tim Burton directs the sequel starring original stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara and joined by new addition Jenna Ortega.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.
I'll be honest, I really liked Beverly Hills Cop III and am disappointed we never got to see the 2013 CBS pilot about Axel Foley's son. Count me in for the fourth film coming to Netflix this year.
Deadpool 3
The lone Marvel Studios film coming in 2024 is a continuation of the Fox Deadpool series. But with Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, this one is one to watch.
Dune: Part Two
Return to Arrakis with director Denis Villeneuve for this adaptation of the second half of Frank Herbert’s Dune. Originally slated for a late 2023 release, it is finally coming this year.
The Fall Guy
Ryan Gosling is a stuntman turned investigator in this action comedy, based on a 1980s TV series, co-starring Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Anya Taylor-Joy is Furiosa in this origin story focused on Charlize Theron's character from Fury Road.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
The Splenger kids are back in this sequel to 2021's Afterlife (and the fourth film in the Ghostbusters series).
Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 and Chapter 2
While this may be two films, let's count it as one. Coming this year is Kevin Costner's epic Western Horizon. And don't forget, Costner has plans for four Horizon films.
IF
John Krasinski writes and directs this fantasy comedy starring Ryan Reynolds as a man who can see people's imaginary friends.
Joker: Folie a Deux
Joaquin Phoenix returns as the Joker is joined by Lady Gaga has Dr. Harleen Quinzel in this sequel to 2019's award-winning Joker.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
Guy Ritchie directs Henry Cavill in this action spy film about the British black ops during WWII.
Twisters
As a huge fan of 1996's Twister, I am ready for more. More twisters.
Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story
Is 2024 the year we finally see Jerry Seinfeld's film about the origins of Pop-Tarts for Netflix? I sure hope so.
Wolfs
Jon Watts writes and directs this psychological action-thriller starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Honorable Mention (films not mentioned above): Argylle, Madame Web, Drive-Away Dolls, Road House, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Abigail, Civil War, Challengers, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Inside Out 2, Bad Boys 4, The Bikeriders, A Quiet Place: Day One, Project Artemis, Alien: Romulus, Kraven the Hunter, Venom 3, Alto Knights, Red One, Gladiator 2, Wicked: Part One, Mufasa: The Lion King, and Nosferatu.
Now for a quick look ahead to 2024, my top picks for that year are Avatar 3, The Batman - Part II, Captain America: Brave New World, Fantastic Four, Mission: Impossible 8, Superman: Legacy, and any of the above-mentioned films that get bumped to 2025.
Looking back at the 15 films on my Looking Ahead to 2023 list from last year: I saw 13 in theaters, one was bumped to 2024 and is included above, and one I didn't get a chance to see yet thanks to the flu. (sorry Wonka).

Who, in your opinion, are ✨Legendary, Talented Actors and Actresses✨ (deceased, alive and "legend in the making")?
Nice question!!!!  Like the word “versatile”, I feel that when referring to an actor or actress, “legendary” is thrown around too often without actually understanding what that word means and how it correlates to an actor or actress. That being said, I hope I do this right...
Alive: - Daniel Craig - Winona Ryder - Christian Bale - Julianne Moore - Jim Carrey - Meryl Streep - James McAvoy - Julia Roberts - Willem Dafoe - Susan Sarandon - Ewan McGregor - Charlize Theron - Johnny Depp (like him or not) - Nicole Kidman - Tom Hanks - Kate Winslet - Edward Norton - Morgan Freeman - Robert Downey Jr. - Leonardo DiCaprio - Allison Janney - Christopher Walken - Will Smith - Michael Caine - Brad Pitt - Dakota Fanning - Denzel Washington - Viola Davis - Gary Oldman - Bryce Dallas Howard - Idris Elba - Helena Bonham Carter - Tom Cruise (like him or not, and I, personally, absolutely despise him) - Jessica Chastain - Al Pacino - Cate Blanchett - Steve Carell (his career took off after he landed his iconic role as Michael Scott in The Office, but since his last episode in 2011, he's come a long way and has even branched out into a variety of genres as well as role types) - Angelina Jolie - Michael Keaton - Michelle Pfeiffer - Daniel Day-Lewis - Sandra Bullock - Robert De Niro - Renée Zellweger - Colin Farrell - Patricia Arquette - Colin Firth - Joaquin Phoenix - Keanu Reeves - Matthew McConaughey - Brendan Fraser - Harrison Ford - Jack Nicholson - Stanley Tucci
**There are tons of actors and actresses from the 30s-60s that were in-demand and could definitely be considered a legend, but I chose to leave them off because I didn’t want this list to be long and I wanted to focus on only the ones I grew up with as well as heard of**
Gone, but NEVER Forgotten - Heath Ledger - Carrie Fisher - Robin Williams - Brittany Murphy - River Phoenix - Chadwick Boseman - Chris Farley - Patrick Swayze
Legend in the Making: - Anya Taylor-Joy - Robert Pattinson - Margot Robbie - Julia Garner (I can just feel it...!) - Finn Wolfhard - Melissa McCarthy - Andrew Garfield - Sadie Sink (I can just feel it...!) - Cillian Murphy - Kate McKinnon - Saoirse Ronan - Anne Hathaway - Amy Adams - Lin-Manuel Miranda - Kristen Stewart (like her or not)
Honorable Mentions: Emma Thompson, Natalie Portman, Elle Fanning, Halle Berry, Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Zoë Saldaña, Emma Stone, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler
Unsure:
Hugh Jackman - click here
Matthew Modine - A true artist at heart who was quite versatile with his roles and genres in the 80s (and so fine 😍), but he isn't super well-known nor popular like, for example, Tom Hanks; however, the role of 'Papa' on Stranger Things won him tons of new fans as well as awoke his fans that grew up with him
Jason Bateman - He's been around since the 80s, but aside from Ozark, he only really stars in crude R-rated films, so I'm on the fence about whether he'd be considered one or not
Amy Poehler
Adam Driver
Tina Fey
Jake Gyllenhaal
Chris Rock
Florence Pugh
Bill Skarsgård
Tom Holland
|---------------------------------------------------------------|
There are definitely tons--I mean tons of more actors and actresses I could write out for each category, but I'll end the lists here. Thank for the ask, this was fun to think about! If any of you have suggestions, then send me an ask.

sending you some random OC questions(feel free to only answer one/specific ones and not all):
1. Do you have any OCs that you specifically created to be forgettable, but they decided not to be? If so, which ones?
2. If you had to pick one of your OCs to swap places with for an unspecified period of time, who would it be?
3. Which of your OCs do you think would want to be your friend if they were real and aware that you created them?
4. Do you have any OCs that were created entirely based on the vibes a specific song gave you? If so, which OCs and which songs?
1. would you believe me if i said theron. and now theyre the main antagonist/protagonist.
theron was originally meant to be like. a small detail. like they were part of the origin of how the demon came to be, but they no longer existed and no longer had influence on the demon. but instead they kind of. festered in my mind and fought for control and now the story is about them. its kind of really in theme when the main conflict of the story is about theron reclaiming control of their story that dara took from them. the story is definitely way better for it ADGSGFSHF
2. reverie. rip to them but i could handle the horrors of my reality not being real and i wouldnt take being a cool wizard for granted like THEY did
3. ,,,,,,,im going to answer this one under a cut actually. check the readmore
4. hrmm... this is hard cause i actually like,,,, have not Designed a character for myself in a WHILE. the last 2 characters i made with the intention of being for me and weren't adopts i just kept, were shadow (from the raid shadow legend gang) and ghost. and i made ghost a year ago. and my ocs typically arent based on songs, sure I'll make 200 song playlists for my ocs but i wont Make Them based on songs
im gonna have to count characters i remade for this, I'll go with george! George was originally a dnd npc that i was super hyperfixated on for like a year. that fixation eventually faded and i dont totally remember why i liked him so much, but i was considering remaking him for another story for a while and finally everything i wanted him to be clicked when i heard this
youtube
Tumblr media
(would like to clarify i do not care that much about dsmp the songs just banging. have no clue what its about but its a bop)
didnt realize i even took some visual inspirations from the animation til now LMAO. but yeah now hes a fucked up crime guy whos also a himbo full of love. and violence.
3. this answers a bit. personal <3
most of my characters that Do canonically know i exist dont have super strong opinions on me. reverie was expecting something else when they met me and had to abandon the plan of using me as a way to get out of the game. dara thinks im annoying at best. a nuisance at worst. for pretty much every character ive made thats aware of me, im kind of like. just some guy. im just writing down what they're doing and its kind of annoying but not a big deal. and i know that cause i talk to them sometimes. i never thought it was a big deal i would just think really loudly in their direction and they'd respond. so, because of that, i do know of at least one character who is canonically my friend! phoenix, one of the deathspeaker gods, was genuinely one of my closest friends for a while. we talked All The Time and helped each other take care of ourselves if we needed it. i havent talked to elysium because she doesnt seem to fully be aware im there but if she does ever realize i think we'd be besties. she's so nice and pleasant
(will not be taking any follow up questions on this thanks <3 i have 0 interest in finding out Why they can respond to me they're just my buddies and i like them. dont think about it harder than that)
