I notice this growing trend that whenever you have a film company that puts out a shitty movie or show based on an IP they race-swap the characters. Nowadays, you do get this growing backlash from minorities. Which is funny since these media companies will often use the race swapping to call their critics racists and bigots. 

I wonder if a “Not Your Shield” type protest against these companies would work. Then again, I think they would be slandered much like the original Not Your Shield movement was.
