The year is 2004. Flip-phones are in vogue, MySpace has just been launched, and Britney Spears’ Toxic is top of the charts. And Castle Dracula is about to receive a young guest for dinner…

Armed with only his dictaphone, newly-minted solicitor Jonathan Harker has taken the Eurostar out of Britain and travelled to the depths of Romania, where phone service and peace of mind have become a thing of the past. But Jonathan isn’t the only one in the toils: he’s just unwittingly given a bloodsucking monster unfettered access to London’s teeming millions, and he, his friends and Mina, the love of his life, are in grave danger.

A found-footage extravaganza, Dracula: 2004 dares to ask what happens when you combine vampires and dial-up internet. Join Jonathan as he survives the work trip from hell; gossip with Mina and Lucy over Lucy’s three suitors; and meet the eccentric Van Helsing and her vampire-hunting armoury. This is a new millennium, a new age of technology, and a version of Dracula that you have never experienced before.

Sebastian Stan’s upcoming projects:

FJORD.

The drama, based on a true story, follows the Gheorghiu family—made up of a Romanian father, Mihai (Stan) and a Norwegian mother (Reinsve). They relocate to a remote village in the mother’s homeland (Norway). Quickly forming a close bond with the neighboring Halberg family, but when troubling allegations surface, the Gheorghiu’s find themselves at the center of a small-town reckoning dealing with the scrutiny of it’s judicial system.

This is Sebastian’s first time playing a Romanian character, like himself, and acting in his mother tongue.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

A RIVER’S GAZE

⤷ Finished production. Releases in theaters later this year.

A coming of age film featuring a single mother, Lavinia, and her 14 year old son, Dani. Balancing building a better life for them while also being a good mother. Their story unfolds under the quiet, watchful presence of the river. Down in a valley where time flows in unpredictable ways. Grief lingers beneath the surface, carried by the undercurrent of Lavinia's unresolved love affair with her ex-partner, which shapes the choices she makes along the way.

Sebastian Stan is a producer and has also funded the film.

BURNING RAINBOW FARM

A drama thriller, based on a true story, following 2 gay cannabis activists, Tom Crosslin (Stan) and his lover Rollie Rohm (Woodall), who build Rainbow Farm. They confront the FBI to defend their farm and their family once their child is taken from them.

RUINS

⤷ In development. Set for 2026.

A drama of a modern greek tragedy. The film follows a couple, Emma (Kirby) and Julian (Stan). Who arrive on a trip to house sit a friends house in Greece, with hopes of mending their frayed relationship. With their visions of the future seem to be pulling them in different ways. Yet an affair with a young Greek woman over the course of a summer in Athens threatens to crack their relationship open in a story about privilege and power, desire and intimacy.

Both Stan and Kirby are starring and producing.

CRACKPOT

A drama/comedy starring Dakota Johnson & Sebastian Stan. Assumed to be the last narrative feature film Elaine May would direct since ‘Ishtar’, 30+ years ago.

LET THE EVIL GO WEST

A horror thriller set in the Old West. A railroad worker discovers a chest of gold and seeks to use it to build a city, only for said gold to drive him into madness that consumes him and his family.

PUMPING BLACK

A thriller following a desperate cyclist and a charismatic team doctor who develops a risky training program in order to win the Tour de France. As the race intensifies, they turn to darker methods to hide their secret and stay ahead.

RECKLESS

⤷ In development.

Set in the 80’s, this noir thriller features a former agent who’s now part-time detective, part-hired thug. ‘Ethan Reckless’ moves through the world with ruthless efficiency. Solving problems for people at the end of their rope.

No one can repress like Jack Seward can - who's got time to think about relationship drama when your patient is currently attempting to eat a sparrow whole? Jack has the health and safety coordinator breathing down his neck, a major safeguarding issue to deal with, his bonkers Dutch mentor is doing things with garlic, and to top it all off, absolutely no one wants to date him. 2004 is not Jack's year.

DEADLINE: Vanessa Kirby and Sebastian Stan are attached to star in the film adaption of ‘Ruins’.

EXCLUSIVE: Miramax in a competitive bid has snapped up the rights to Australian author Amy Taylor's upcoming second novel ‘Ruins’ with Oscar nominees VANESSA KIRBY and SEBASTIAN STAN attached to star.

Kirby and Stan are also producing with Scott Free and Linden. The actress will produce through her company Aluna Entertainment.
