Notes: This wasn't supposed to happen yet but I'm working on several chapters at once so this got posted first due to timing. This chapter was meant to go last. (besides I'm not going to pretend that most of you didn't just come here for this guy. I just want to get this over with.)

Malleus

"The Hero"

Grimm wasn't the most social of the kids but he was finally learning how to play with others. From what the child development book says he had a rich imagination and took part in imaginative play with others. He had even shown interest in things like singing and dancing with other kids.

But when art time came Grimm looked upset and yelled at another girl. Yuu had to apologize to the girl and her father. They had an argument which caused Grimm to lose his temper. He wouldn't say what it was about either.

When it was time to go Grimm waited by the car and stared at the crumpled drawing he made in his hands.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Yuu asked helping Grimm into his car seat.

Grimm shook his head.

Yuu nodded and decided to leave it alone.

When they got home Grimm went to his room without much fuss. Even bathtime was quiet without his usual crying.

When it was time for bed Grimm still clutched the paper ball.

"Mama?" He asked for her while he was deep in thought.

"Yeah, sweetie?" Yuu pulled the covers over him.

"Where is our family?" Grimm unfurled the pater to reveal a drawing of her and him in crayon.

Yuu's voice was caught in her throat. She wanted to wait until he was older to explain this.

"We are a family." She said simply.

"But Erinn said that families were big like hers. A mommy, daddy, sister, brother, grandma, and grandpa. But I only have a Mommy." Grimm asked confused. "I told Erinn that I only had Mama and she said that we weren't a real family without that. So I got mad."

Yuu knew she had to control her emotions and try to explain but it was getting hard.

"We are a family. All the family we need. Erinn is lucky and has a big family already and she doesn't understand what other families look like." Yuu said stiffly "I'm sorry if I'm not enough. If I could, I would give you the family you deserve but I'm only one person."

Yuu quickly finished saying goodnight before retreating to her room. Tears of frustration blinded her.

It wasn't her fault.

She wanted a family too.

Ever since she returned to her world and old life she had tried to find her place. Friends and family were happy to see her again but they had moved on after years of her absence. Everything familiar was now strange. Then came the questions about where she was and what happened. She couldn't answer, no one would believe her. They turned on her with suspicion and called out her lies. News media caught wind and police had questions as well. Everyone wanted to know but she had no answers.

Rumors were everywhere and even the people who trusted and wanted to help Yuu had mud slung their way. She did what had to do to protect them and left. She escaped as far as she could to a place where no one knew her. She wrote her books in solitude and kicked out everyone who tried to profit from her newfound fame.

Conspiracy theorists and true crime fans still hounded her but she had a life where she could be in relative peace.

She had a son now and could live a normal life. Wasn't that enough? Can't she live her life?

Yuu cried for herself, for her son, for their future.

"Are you sure we shouldn't wait until tomorrow, your Majesty? Yuu may be asleep by now." Silver asked pushing aside the foliage with a ball of light he cased in the other.

"Of course, my child of man has always stayed up late in the night. She is undoubtedly awake." Malleus said proudly leaving Sebek and Silver to clear the way. Trails of Will o'-Wisps marked their path to find their way back.

Lilia flew above the group as he enjoyed the scenery. He seemed even more relaxed these days. Silver and Sebek had finally taken over their roles as captains of the royal guards. Malleus was firmly established himself as the ruling king and let his dear grandmother retire to her castle on the coast. She was certainly enjoying the sun in her scales.

Malleus had been hard at work revitalizing his kingdom. Bringing his kingdom into the current Era took effort but he had reached out to Shroud's heir for his assistance. Now the youth of his kingdom had new jobs to look forward to and new citizens had begun to move into their land. Malleus had also reached out to over classmates and found their help invaluable.

Kingscholar and Viper had been invaluable political partners and expanded trade between their lands. Rosehearts had joined him in laying out new laws compatible with technological developments. Ashengrotto had great knowledge of how to take advantage of natural resources in the area. Schoenheit offered assistance in starting an entertainment business hub like filming to take advantage of the vista.

Malleus had developed strong friendships with each of them but none of them could compare to the one that changed his life. Something they all agreed on.

"This place is so nice. So many stars but you can still see the city lights in the far distance. Are we close to the shore?" Lilia couldn't wait to visit another world and go touring with Yuu. His boys may be reserved to just seeing her but he had plans.

"The terrain is dangerous. It's rocky and likely has many dangerous creatures lurking about. How that human can stand being so much peril is beyond me." Sebek huffed.

Silver shook his head and ignored his co-captain.

As the group journeyed through the forest they noticed a small sound break up the buzzing of cicadas. Small sniffles and whimpers echoed and wrapped around the trees.

Lilia as if sensing a child's distress told the group to be quiet as he tracked down the whining.

Tucked into a hollow at the base of a tree a small boy huddled with a stuffed cat clutched to his body for dear life. The poor child cried for no one but himself.

As the group got closer they lit up wisp light around the area. The soft light alerted the boy as he drew closer.

"Hey, there. What are you doing out here so late?" Lilia crouched down to the boy's level to not scare him. "You should be at home."

The boy shook his head.

"You're parents are probably looking for you." Silver said.

"I can't. I'm bad." The boy rubbed his red puffy eyes.

"You're bad?" Malleus asked holding out his hand to Silver who immediately grabbed Sebek and grabbed a handkerchief from the half-fae's pocket. He then gave it to his king.

Lilia took the handkerchief and held it up to the boy's nose and told him to blow his nose. (Crying gets very messy with kids his age and makes it hard for them to breathe with clogged sinuses. Not mention kids have a hard time blowing their nose on their own at a young age.)

The boy wrinkled his face as Lilia cleaned his stuffy nose with practiced ease. The boy tried to weakly fend him off the same way any child does when you try to clean a smudge off their cheek with your thumb. Once he was freed and cleaned up he finally responded.

"I'm a bad boy. I made Mama cry. She said cus of me." He said remorseful.

"Why don't you just say sorry then?" Sebek said tactlessly.

Silver elbowed him and the crocodile shrugged with an expression that said 'What do you want me to say! I'm right!"

"Because I always make Mama cry. Mama is always sad. So I'm going back so I can't make her sad again." He said defiantly.

He was going to help his mother even if he wasn't going to be with her.

"Where are you going?" Malleus asked kneeling beside Lilia.

The boy looked that Malleus's horns with wonder.

"Mama found me here in these woods. But she told me a story of a dragon that lived far in the woods. The dragon was nice and helped the lost princess so I want to find him and ask him to help Mama." The boy sounded really proud of his plan.

"A quest. What a brave boy you are." Lilia ruffled the boy's hair. The boy tried to dodge but failed.

"Hey, are you the dragon?" The boy asked pointing at Malleus's horns.

"I'm a dragon-fae. The king in fact." Malleus responded.

"And you can help my Mama? With your magic? Can you take her nightmares?" The boy asked pleading.

"I will try to help if you lead us to her." Malleus wanted to see Yuu again but he knew he had to help this child first. Reuniting this family was more important right now than petty wants.

Yuu couldn't sleep. She just needed the check. Maybe she was excessive but she just worried. Almost every night she would cheak on Grimm, just in case. She just need to see he was alive and breathing.

Some times she just had nightmares where he...

The parenting manuals said that this was perfectly normal. Her fears were natural and these impulses were a product of evolution and prevention of S.I.Ds.

Wait is there a cut-off point for S.I.Ds? Could Grimm still get it?

Yuu took a deep breath, she just needed to see him.

Yuu opened the door quietly to find...an empty bed.

"Grimm?" Yuu called out.

She began checking the bathroom in case he needed to go potty...nothing.

She checked the kitchen in case he wanted water...nothing.

The living room, The study, her bedroom, the attic, the garage

Nothing, nothing , nothing, nothing, nothing, NOTHING!

Yuu searched everywhere as she rushed outside and called for him. Soon the hysteria kicked in as she banged on her neighbors' doors. Frantically she gathered people to help her find her son.

The group was no less enthusiastic to help as they treated the boy like a little hero on a quest. Unfortunately, this hero was very tired and needed to be carried by the dragon king. Lilia was desperate to have his turn but the bat was way too energetic right now.

Lilia was secretly praying that Yuu lived with children so he could play with them.

Grimm was fascinated with Malleus. He studied the dragon's horns, eyes and fangs.

"Mama said the dragon was best friends with the lost princess. Is that true?" Grimm asked touching Malleus's sharp ears.

Malleus let the boy explore as he thought of a response.

"I cared deeply for a friend who was far from home. She was my best friend."

"What was she like? I like the princess most." Grimm said cheerfully.

"The princess, I mean she was beautiful like any princess. But she was better. She was kind and selfless. She made friends everywhere she went." As Malleus said this little fingers pulled at his lips to get a better look at his teeth.

"She's so cool. I wish I could meet her."

Malleus quickly handed the child off to Sebek. Sebek received no better treatment as the boy pulled on his ears and cheeks. He has pincer-like fingers and speed.

Lilia laughed. Silver was the same way.

Sebek practically tossed Grimm to Silver to deal with. Sliver was fine with Grimm but Lilia's silent pleading made him hand the boy over.

Almost immediately Grimm was asleep as Lilia rocked the boy to sleep. The group sighed in relief.

"So," Sliver spoke up only for a chorus of 'Shh' to stop him. He was just going to ask about the stuffed cat that looked exactly like Grim. Or the fact that his name was Grimm. Just him? Okay.

But the blissful silence didn't last as sirens and shouting were heard.

"Grimm?! Grimm?!" Voices shouted as groups of people searched for the boy.

Safe to say his mother was looking for him.

The group managed to dodge the cops as the found a familiar young woman still wrapped in her night clothes shouting Grimm's name. Bright searchlights haloed around her.

"Yuu?!" Malleus called out as soon as he saw her.

The woman squinted to see through the lights before she gasped. She quietly scrambled through the foliage. She had trouble due to still being in her house shoes, she couldn't even think of changing when her son was missing.

"Mal?" She called trying to see if she was hallucinating.

"Malleus please, you have to help me. My son, he's gone." Yuu begged her hand clutched over her chest.

Malleus didn't know how to respond at first. No words would help. The only thing to ease her is her child.

Lilia came forward and handed the sleeping boy back into his mother's arms.

Yuu's eyes lit up with unimaginable joy like finally breathing after unending suffocation. She fell to her knees as she held him close to her.

"My baby. My sweet baby." She mumbled pressing kisses to his head as tears of relief flowed down her cheeks. "Thank you. Thank you."

The situation took time to clean up as everyone was alerted that Grimm was found. Everyone sighed in relief and returned home. Except for that crotchety old woman next door. Yuu would expect a strongly worded letter soon.

The reunion wasn't what anyone expected but Yuu was no less grateful to her friends.

When they explained the situation, Yuu's eyes dimmed.

"I see, it's my fault." She sighed.

"He was just trying to help you. He doesn't know any better." Sebek rolled his eyes.

"That's the point. He's a child, he doesn't know any better. It's my responsibility not to make him feel responsible for my emotions. He should never see his mother cry. I tried to hid it." Yuu berated herself.

"Yuu, from one parent to another you need to hear this. It's hard, it's always going to be hard, but you're doing great." Lilia said gently pulling Yuu into a hug.

All the stress she had been carrying since she assumed her role as parent bubbles to the surface. All this time she had been carrying the heavy weight of expectations and constantly questioned herself. Everytime she got something wrong she panicked. Every crying fit and scraped knee she blamed on herself. Judging herself based on every parenting manual and blog she read. It all came to the surface.

She felt like she was going to break into pieces.

Suddenly another pair of arms wrapped around her then another and reluctantly another.

This was what she needed. Reassurance.

"Who dares intrude upon my lair." Lilia cackled wrapped in a black blanket.

"I do! Grimm the dragon prince!" Grimm stood proudly over Sebek's(slain in battle, r.i.p) body with a plastic sword in hand.

Grimm had taken to wearing a pair of fake ram horns and pretending to be a dragon recently.

Yuu raised an eyebrow as she drank her tea.

"If you wish to save the princess you must face my minions!" Lilia said waving a hand and sending Silver out to duel with the boy.

"Don't worry! I have my own minions! Go dragon king!Save the princess!" Grimm said sawing his hand this time.

Yuu snorted and held back her laughter as she looked up from her notepad.

Malleus of course assisted as he pretended to battle Lilia.

"Mal are you a king or a minion?" Yuu laughed.

"Are you a princess or are you just wearing a cone hat?" Malleus retorted.

"You've become more sassy with age. Now hurry up and save me." Yuu pouted taking off the pink cone hat.

Malleus picked up Yuu in a princess carry as Grimm cheered.

"My heros~" Yuu giggled as she wrapped her arms around Malleus's neck.

"Where too now my dear princess?"Malleus asked.

"To the study my stead!" She shouted.

Sebet tried to say something before Silver kicked him from their downed position.

"I'm a stead now, am I?" Malleus teased as he carried her off.

Grimm payed no mind. Grandpa Lilia said that they need space. The boy instead leapt onto his uncles who grunted as the air was forced from their lungs.

Upstairs Malleus placed Yuu on her desk chair as she began typing out her new book.

"Finally designed on a name for it?" Malleus asked resting his head on her shoulder.

"Yep, The Lost Prince and the Dragon King"

"Hmm, I like it."

Hey! I hope you're having a good day!

Do you know how many siblings each characters has (in the case that they have any at all)? I saw something about Azul having a step-sibling but I don't know if that was headcanon territory or not, and I couldn't find anything about it???

Also something that I've noticed is, except of Ace, Leona and Cater, most of the boys are the oldest sibling in their family. Any of your trademark game insight would be very appreciated.

Azul says that he has no siblings, while the oldest sibling/youngest sibling distributions might be pretty balanced! Five characters have said they are the oldest while five have said they are the youngest :>

Runaway Chapter 8: Departure

Summary: Malleus continues to sort through his emotions while Lilia finally receives news…

Lilia’s body went cold as the world stopped around him.

“A...body?” he repeated, his heart coming to a sharp stop. No. No, that couldn’t be true.

It had to be a mistake. It had to be.

“Papa, please live a long and healthy life.”

“No matter how strong you are, you’re still my one and only father. So, please, let me take care of you.”

“Let’s stay together, forever!”

‘Silver…’ Lilia’s body quaked with terror. N o. No! This couldn’t be real, it couldn’t! There had to be a mistake. There just had to be. Silver couldn’t be dead ! He couldn’t!

Lilia never had a chance to explain things, to apologize. He didn’t get to tell the other he was sorry for everything--

‘This can’t be happening.’ He felt sick.

This couldn’t be real! This--

“Yeah, near a skeletal body on a pirate ship.”

...eh?

“What?” Both Lilia and Crowley mirrored the question.

“The ring hooked on to the hat somehow and sank it down to the bottom of the sea. It landed near the body of a dead pirate on the wreckage of an ol’ ship. Already looted, unfortunately.”

Lilia tilted to the side as the world restarted itself, the man's face completely blank.

Once the world rebooted, Lilia shifted from a stunned bat to an angry cat.

“ You--!! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SAY IT LIKE THAT?! ” he yowled, loud enough that the other men jumped. He nearly pounced, claws out, when Crowley grabbed him around the waist.

“Oi! Easy now, Vanrouge! Easy! ” Growling like a dog, Lilia easily shoved the headmaster aside, glaring at the sailor.

“Someone get a map!” h e demanded. “I want to know the exact location you found this!”

If the broom was missing a rider, then Silver must have fallen into the ocean. If so, it was likely he was swept to a nearby island. Provided, he didn’t drown. Lilia just needed to figure out which island that was by finding where Silver was and what the current was like that night.

The sailor was startled by the sudden demand.

“Huh? I--” Lilia’s patience snapped, and he leveled the poor old man with a glare that would make a dragon tremble. (And had.)

“ Did I stutter? ” he barked, making the others jump like rabbits, his red eyes flashing like warning lights. “Get me a map! NOW! ”

After getting the frightened sailor to pinpoint the area where the ring was found and getting information about the currents, Lilia took the map back to his room to decide his next course of action.

It wasn’t easy.

There were several islands, and there was no way to tell where Silver was swept. Lilia could only guess when Silver fell into the sea, which made tracing the tides difficult. It didn’t help that the storm had thrown everything off, messing up the waves of the currents.

Regardless, Lilia had to figure it out quickly.

If Silver was on a little island, it wasn't a big deal, as it would limit where he could go unless a ship came. In that case, Lilia could easily inquire about it. (Assuming the island wasn't abandoned.) However, if the boy was on the mainland, Silver could be getting further and further away from him every second. And what if Silver never even made it to land?

What if he was abducted by pirates and was forced to work as a swabbie? Or sold off as a slave somewhere? Or what if he was taken by Nemo and forced to live on a submarine for the rest of his life, drinking turtle milk and the like? Never be seen again by the surface world? Well, if it was the latter, then Lilia would make sure Nemo was never found again, and if it was the pirate thing, he’d--

Lilia took a deep breath to rein his mind in.

‘Keep it together, Lilia,’ he told himself, rolling Silver’s ring between his fingers. Letting his imagination run wild wouldn’t help a thing. But then, what would help?

Lilia looked at his reflection in the crystal stones of the gold ring.

It had been three days since the jewel piece was brought to him.

That meant it had been a whole week where Lilia had no idea where his son was or if he was safe.

It was driving him crazier than he thought. Lilia hadn’t slept in days, and he only ate when Sebek or Kalim came to check on him.

‘Heh. I’ve really become a worrywart, haven’t I?’ Then again, according to Malenore, he was always this way.

His expression dropped as he thought of his dear friend and first love.

Malleus said that by taking in Silver, Lilia had betrayed her. Lilia never thought of it like that.

When he took in Silver, he only thought of Leven’s dreams for their people and if Lilia himself could come to care for a human. But now, he couldn’t help but wonder: how would Malenore react to Lilia raising the son of her enemy?

She hated humans. Even before the war, she looked down on them as inferior and thought it was “cute” that Leven wanted to live at peace with them, at best.

If she saw him now, how would she react?

Lilia bit his lip, then shook his head.

‘No. There’s no time for that.’ Lilia had to concentrate on pinpointing Silver’s location. The rest could wait. It had to.

The bat frowned.

‘If only there was a way to track him—‘ “Ah!”

As he thought about this, the ring seemed to jump out of his hand.

It landed on the map and began to roll around and around before falling. Lilia read the name under it; his brow furrowed in thought.

“The Queendom of Roses?” Could that be where Silver was? Even if that were the case, how would Silver’s ring know?

The jewelry piece glittered as if responding. The frown on Lilia's brow deepened.

Despite having had the ring for all these years, Lilia had no idea what its magical properties were. Only that, it helped both the knight and Silver and had diurnal magic. Regardless, it had a connection to the two.

‘Could it lead me to Silver?’ Well, it wasn’t like he had any other directions to take. He would have to gamble and hope for the best.

“Well then! Time to head to Queendom to paint the roses,” he decided, circling the island with a pen. He only prayed that he would find more than white rabbits and Cheshire cats there.

When Lilia announced his departure to Sebek, the lad insisted on accompanying him, but Lilia turned him down.

“You’re still a student, remember? I’m not,” he reminded the other. While Crowley was “kind” enough to allow Lilia to remain, the fact remained that he had already dropped out. He couldn’t stay forever. (As much as he would have liked to.)

Lilia had to push down his emotions.

They were in the mirror hall now, Crowley having gotten the mirror ready to send him to Queensland, where he would begin his search. Sebek found out and came to see him off, even ditching his class to do so, something Lilia made sure to scold him for.

“Whatever else is going on, you have to continue your education,” he told the boy. “Otherwise, you won’t be able to become a guard, and all your efforts will be for nothing.

"Besides, Malleus would be all alone if you came. I know you don’t want that.” Lilia pushed down even harder at the emotions his ward brought up and the reminder that the two had yet to make up.

Sebek went stiff at the thought, his eyes shining.

“Ngh! Of course not. But…” His expression was torn. Of course, he wanted to be there for Malleus, but Sebek also had a sense of loyalty to Silver, who had been like a brother to him all this time.

Lilia lifted a hand to his shoulder and smiled.

“You did more than enough, Sebek,” he said honestly. He gripped the boy in appreciation. “Without you and your efforts, I wouldn’t even have a lead. You did your part. Now let me do mine.” Then he winked. “I’ll bring Silver back, and you can kick his ass for running away like this.” Lilia prayed that wasn’t an empty promise. Sebek still looked unsure.

“But will you be alright by yourself? With your magic..." Sebek trailed off, causing Lilia to tense as he forced his smile to remain.

“Even without my magic, I can take care of myself.” Lilia was magicless, not helpless, and he refused to be treated as such. (It was partially what pushed him to leave in the first place.) He continued;

“I still have my strength, my speed--” ‘My clever.’ “--I’ll just fine.” A teasing grin crossed the old man’s face.

“Or are you doubting my skill?” he asked, fangs glinting in the light as he revealed them with a grin. Sebek jumped erect.

“I would never doubt you, Lord Lilia!!” he boomed, his voice echoing around the room. Lilia chuckled.

‘Cute as always,’ he thought. He patted the boy’s arm.

“Excellent! I leave Malleus in your hands, which I know are more than capable.” At the mention of his ward, the amusement drained from Lilia’s features and was replaced with solemnity and a heavy heart. “...Take care of him, Sebek,” he said quietly, his arm dropping. Sebek’s expression fell like a puppy’s.

“Won’t--Won’t you say goodbye to him?” he urged. Lilia paused in his action to grab his travel bag (the rest of his stuff was generously stored by Kalim).

Malleus hadn’t taken the news of Lilia’s departure well last time—in fact, that was what led to this whole mess—but now, it may be different.

“I’m sure he’ll be glad to see me gone now.” Lilia sighed as he picked up the sack, his fingers shaking. Sebek nearly burst into tears.

“Master Lilia! You can’t believe that.” Lilia didn’t know what he believed.

Before this whole debacle started, Lilia truly believed that while Malleus would be saddened by his departure, he wouldn’t be as affected as he was.

Then, after he woke up—He didn’t know. Lilia just didn't know anymore.

Was leaving like this for the best, or was he just running away from his own feelings?

“I don’t know,” he admitted, shouldering the bag. “Regardless, Malleus won’t talk to me, and Silver—" The man closed his eyes. “Silver’s all by himself right now.” That’s right.

Malleus was alone before but was saved by Silver and Sebek, just as Lilia was saved by Malleus and Silver once upon a time. Now Lilia had to save Silver.

“I’m not saying goodbye—not yet,” he promised. “But I have to go, for now at least. I’ll be back when I find Silver.” That part may have been a lie, considering Malleus was directing all his pain at Silver, but saying so would have hurt his student even more.

Sebek looked as if he were about to argue but bit his tongue. Instead, he closed his eyes and retracted his sobs with a loud ‘s niff.’

“Take care of yourself, Master Lilia!” he said in a thick voice. “Both Malleus and I—we’re counting on you to bring Silver back.”

Lilia nodded. “I will.”

Sebek stepped back from his teacher as his mentor approached the mirror. In front of the glass, Lilia paused.

He felt as if he was being pulled in opposite directions. The father was eager to find Silver as soon as possible. But on the other hand, leaving Malleus...

His grip tightened on his bag.

‘No. No turning back now,’ Lilia told himself.

All other factors aside, Malleus was safe and had friends who would help him. Silver, on the other hand...

Determined more than ever, Lilia stepped into the mirror, leaving Night Raven College and all those within behind.

Not as exciting as the previous I'll admit, but I promise to make up for that in chapters to come.

About Yume(i)

Before the current events of Twisted Wonderland, Yume was appeared first as the main protagonist.

Magicless but is pretty a smart person in general.

They say without magic, everything is hopeless.

Is it now?

Magic can beat almost everything but that is just how people see it, minds and talents alike are the main reason why everyone is unique with magic. Magic doesn’t appear so easily, it appears when the person is passionate or talented for it.

But what about the magicless? Are they just here to be treated like shit?

In truth magicless people can perform other stuff in talents than magic, strategizing stuff or any of the sort increases or helps reduce the blot.

For Yume’s case serving as magicless human with only a magical camera and Grim its just a normal thing.

And yet the camera is special.

Much to Yume(i)’s surprise the photos from the previous cycles are still saved, it makes them like a timekeeper or something but only time can tell.

They are just normal humans nothing special.

Yume appears as silent yet positive.

Yumi appears as cheerful but hides a deeper pain.

They are both magicless and yet, being magicless isn’t all that bad.

Their story till the present

Everything would have gone well at this point, and Crowley was trying his best to give the exit to Yumi.

But….is it all there is to it?

It would have felt that her way to going home would be a massive waste of time, especially when there is no actually proof of what the actual world looks like? Everyone does have their hellos and goodbyes, but can they say a proper goodbye when there is more than meets the eyes?

The final current was the first appearance of Yume that was soon changed to be Yumi.

Knowing that everyone else would be confused as who Yume truly was, I guess it is her way of coping that her own brother is there for her at times like this (for a last resort). By simply taking his identity by rechanging her appearance from all of her expereince in potionology.

Anyone would have simply question it, but they soon forgot about it cause of the forced changed subject.

It felt pathetic for Yumi to not tell the whole truth.

Yumi soon took over Yume ever since Book 7, especially when Yume did lose to Malleus’ unexpected attack.

But after everything that happened especially in Book 8 where everyone is completely in denial of Yume(i) to go home the only thing they can do is to put them in a sleep even if its wrong but they are all villains in the end anyways.

But months has passed and everyone went from casual to….extreme worry real fast.

They need to see what is wrong with Yume(i).

Self-relfection Arc

Before the cycle breaking into place, Yumi did appear as a girl, but due to her original appearance of a massive messier appearance it is hard to tell who that person was.

Her past is pretty straight forward and yet simple. But only for the tip of the iceberg.

She had to cope, the reality is right in front of her.

Her older twin brother Yume died by a car accident in a heavy earthquake, but she was in a daze not knowing who or why did they kill him. Till everything hits on her…. Her own family killed him.

She overblotted because of that.

Despite having no magic there will be chances that no magic users can overblot, negative emotions can summon the blot itself and will infect the person till they are at their breaking point. She asked herself did she just repeat the 500 cycles of repeat just to realize that her efforts are all for nothing?

Life is so cruel and yet so beautiful in its own ways.

It terrifying even.

She never told a single soul about herself, why even bother when they just forget about it in repeat.

All she can do is wait till her chance to go home….aka the afterlife.

Perhaps a good rest from all the cycles of pain and suffering is all she needed, but she doesn’t even know when will she wakes up.

She is facing her on sin, her own reflection.

They won’t know her pain, they wont understand her.

All she needed from them was a good memory of them before everything comes to an end.

The truth

Is going home truly the right answer, all that is waiting for her is death itself and the afterlife.

She was born in an abusive household, Yume is her only comfort yet life took him away from her.

She had to cook, starve, suffer abuse and eat little. Appearance in her first cycle was a complete mess, hair a mess and ugly and purely skinny closer to a skeleton.

Before appearing in NRC she got herself to an accident from running away from the people who are trying to reach out to her, out of fear of being in a repeated nightmare again. She was scared, confused, and is often seen weak, and yet she knows what she is doing at the same time.

Predicting and analyzing the situation at hand and think fast before she decides on what to do.

Reads books daily till she realized that she can try other hobbies since she had the entire freedom to herself, but soon after the cycles had repeated again and again. But despite the pain she can still keep her appearance she soon has the upper idea to try other clubs to relish in the experience just experience if the words in the books are true or not.

But cooking is her massive passion, and BECAUSE she can cook her appearance went from skinny to a healthier one.

Thanks to acting and other types of talents she learns to adapt to a new persona.

Cheerful, annoying, sweet, and kind.

Keeping the smile despite all the pain, and yet she still went out of her way to comfort the boys especially those who also overblot.

It felt annoying at first but as time goes on she got used to them 100% and made sure they won’t ask her about her past.

If she actually was she just simple say it was a normal boring life as a lie.

One day in her Glorious Masqurade, she meet a man.

A total stranger who asked her for a dance and is unrecognizable by many people, yet she knew who he was. Accepting the dance she danced with him and had a normal yet deep conversation, she thought he was weird but giving the questions she got from him makes her wonder.

Is death truly the answer?

The real answer is no.

She didn’t realize till now before the cycle finally ended.

There are many opportunities that no one had ever told you, it is as tho she is tempted to reject the second chance but she can’t reject it but accept it.

Before she ask him what is her name, her throat is dry knowing who he is.

He is her incarnation.

She is the reincarnation of the puppet Executioner aka Exe.

Aftermath

Crowley had provided Yumi the way home, but deep down everyone knows that she is just going to die anyway and her home is the afterlife itself. So the possible solution for everyone is to let her live in Twisted Wonderland but had to complete her school year as a normal person.

Sure its never a good ending, but Yumi soon knows what to do.

Assert dominance in school and achieve even greater heights.

Especially explore the world with her tho it is entirely up to her.

She is still cheerful but not faking it

“A Story Yet To Be Told”

I taught I go ahead and do a little story that I have in my head right now, here I am sharing my fantasy with you guys, hope you enjoy this wonderfull adventure.

Character : The hold first year gang and Grim and a fem!y/n

On one Lovely evening outside the dorm, you and Grim sitting outside the dorm relaxing and feeling the fresh air while Grim lay on your lap sleeping away and you enjoying the view, you with never know that the view near Ramshackle Dorm with be this beautiful, but that peaceful moment was ruined by a loud noise coming from the distance, it was your fellow first year friend.

Ace : “Hey! (y/n)!”

Deuce : “Ace could you stop shouting into my ear!”

Ace : “oh come on Deuce, a little bit of shouting won't hurt anyone or are you just weak.”

Deuce : “WHAT DID YOU SAY!”

Jack : “You guys stop fighting with eachother where here to go get (y/n) not fight over something stupid.”

Sebek : “I would have been with the young lord, only if he accept the invitation for me, OH YOUNG LORD MALLEUS!!” *tear up*

Epel : “can we get (y/n) and go already...”

Your Fellow friends is about before your furry friend woke up.

Grim : “Nayaa~~ can't I sleep a bit more~~”

(y/n) : “Nope and is about to get louder”.

Your Fellow friends approach you.

Ace : “Hey! (y/n) wanna go check out this forest with us!”

Deuce : “I think we should not be going there at all is a very dark forest..”

Ace : “all I'm hearing from you is that your just a wimp.”

Deuce : “YOU BETTER TAKE THAT BACK!!”

Ace : “Your Talking like a wimp.”

Ace and Deuce is fighting again, until Jack break the fight from those two.

(y/n) : “alright I'll go with you Is not like you will stop bothering us”

With your answer all your friends started talking about what to pack to the forest and what time there meeting up at.

all you was going to pack was some can of tuna for Grim and some bottle of water and your smartphone and a flashlight with some extra battery, in case your flashlight will go out of battery so you put extra so you won't run out of battery.

8:00 AM

Is so dark and cold outside right now, you and your friend got together and gone into the dark forest.

(y/n) : “Do any of you guys know what this place call?”

Sebek : “Yes, this place is call the solid wood, rumors has it that there are a lot of Dark Spirits live here.”

With this much information you all gone into the forest without thinking twice that there live Dark Spirit here.

The forest it was dark but on the other hand is very beautiful at the same time, you gone further into the woods and there you feel shiver down to your spine that maybe there was someone here but is not following us or watching us at all, it seem that someone is wandering around the wood as well, you thought they may have been lost in these wood, so you try to find the person, leaving your friend confused and Grim who is grabbing on to your shoulder for dear life sake.

Ace : “Hey (y/n)! Where you going!”

Deuce : “it not a good to separate!”

Epel : “(y/n) Come back!”

Jack : “(y/n) is not okay to run off by yourself!”

Sebek : “Yes is it not safe out there, so come back (y/n)!”

You didn't listen to anything of your friends and hell you just Started Running leaving your your friend to run after you, then you started to hear little twinkle from the distance.

Grim : “AHHHHHHH, HEY! (y/n) WHERE ARE YOU GOING HERE!”

(y/n) : “I think there someone is here”

You started gotten closer to the twinkle sound and that when you saw something so different like is not supposed to be in this wood, it was so out of place.

Your fellow friends that was after you have just caught up to you without a brief second they was throwing question at you.

Ace : “WAHTA PLACE IS THIS!”

Deuce : “I don't think this is supposed to be here.”

Jack : “this place seem to be out of the ordinary.”

Epel : “What is this place?”

Sebek : “THIS WAS NOT ADD IN ANY OF THE BOOK I READ!!”

Grim : “(y/n) What is this place?”

(y/n) : “I don't know! I'm confused here too you know!”

That should shut up your fellow friends so you can describe what it look like.

The air was full of magic and White Sparkle in the air as well, then you saw butterfly but these butterfly was different they was as light as the sun but mostly like the sun, they was white and bright and they are flying to the bright light ahead of you before you started following the butterfly you look down to see a white path, it seem like the butterfly are following the past, would out a second thought you started walking down the path leaving your friend to catch of to you.

Making your path down you stop at the end of the path to only to see a figure in front of you, it was so bright you can’t describe what she look like but then you got got use to the light and was abuse to describe her figure, she have long blonde lock hair at the end of the hair is was a pink blossoming color, her eye are both different color her left eye was a blue ocean color and her right eye was a blossom pink color, she was wearing a Japanese kimono (is not that long kimono is the short one) the kimono she was wearing was light pink color with blossom on it, she was surrounded by the butterfly that you was following, she was wearing a gentle yet soft smile it was so beautiful.

Then your friends caught up to you before they could do anything seeing the figure in front of them got them to questioning what was happening all you guys is here for is to explore this wood and here you are in another situation that you don't understand is happening.

(y/n) : “Who are you and Why are you in this wood alone?”

The person in front of us turn to us in gash but then soon turn back to her smile

??? : “oh my, isn't that lovely, is it so nice to meet you Ace Deuce Jack Epel Sebek Grim and (y/n).”

You was all shocked by her response and even knowing all of our name, she was still smiling when respond to you.

(y/n) : “how do you know our name?”

??? : “Now that will be for later but first why are you all here in this wood so last in the night.”

(y/n) : “what do you mean we just got into the wood at 8:00.”

??? : “you should check your phone to see what time is now.”

With that you took out your smartphone only to see it

11:30 AM

you been in the wood for 2 hour and 30 minutes, but it only felt like a few minutes in.

(y/n) : “how did you know it was this late into the night!?!”

??? : “Well Magic Child, Now I think you should go back to your dorm and go to bed.”

(y/n) : “Yeah we should really go to bed now, is quite late.”

With that you wanted to go home and go to your cozy dorm and on to your soft bed and sleep.

(y/n) : “Do any of you guys know the way back?”

With your question all of your friends was panicking, non of you know where you was or how deep you are in the wood and you didn't know the way back out of this wood.

The mysterious lady sigh and turn to us with a face that seem like she knew this would happen

??? : “oh my, don't panic child I can bring you back to your dorm, but only for one condition.”

You was still surprise but not like you did before, now that you think of it this person know a lot about you and your friend and even know that you all are going to NRC so at this point you don’t question her or something bad might happen

Condition? You got quite uneasy by her word back then but then calm yourself down

(y/n) : “is this condition a big thing or something?”

??? : “it really isn’t not a very big condition…, is that you don't tell anyone you was in here.”

(y/n) : “is there anything else?”

??? : “oh yes, I almost forgot to mention this is that you don't ever tell anyone or anybody that you saw me and that you gone here.”

(y/n) : “I think we can do that.”

??? : “then is a promise!”

(y/n) : “well yeah, I guess..”

With all of that, you all was about to be teleport back to your dorm, but before you did the mysterious lady said something it was very clear and quick that maybe all of you had heard what she said.

??? : “Maybe in the future we will meet again, but for now Bye Bye!”

She was Smiling and that was the last time you saw her but maybe someday you will meet her again, but for now is not it.

You and your friend was all teleport us back to our respected dorm and into our room.

The End

This story took me 3 days to finish and I'm quite proud of myself for doing this I keep thinking before I even finish, I think I don't know what I'm writing anymore, hope you did enjoy this adventure that is in my head and I hope you enjoy reading this.
