This fanfic basically surrounded around the reader who was an old dragon ball fan when she was younger however that fact was never really accepted with the readers parents, so she ended up removing it with her life and followed her parents. One day she was really minding her own business until she started hearing voices around her house, next thing you know she wakes up in friezas body. (Mild description but I promise you it's good! 😭)

This was super good for what it was trying to get across, you could really feel that your really involved in the game and the author really found ways to get the reader included even more. The only problem that I would have to address is that there was some points where the reader and Frieza was missing some chemistry, but I feel like it was only because the author was afraid of making Frieza ooc which is totally understandable : ) I loved it regardless. I give it a good 8/10(ﾉ´∀｀*)

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW AMAZING THIS FIC IS ( Ĭ ^ Ĭ )!!! This was my first cell/reader fic I've read and it's just amazing but not complete yet, however I wouldn't let it stop anyone from giving this a good read. The chemistry between the reader and cell is so freaking cute! It's my main inspiration from a fic I'm writing. The amount of butterfly's and drama, the romance!! Ugh so good easily a 10/10, just wish there was more (╥╯^╰╥)

She one night goes on a walk, and on that walk she hears something unusual in the bushes, it's a overally grown weird alien bug(larval form cell). Who seems to be injured. She then came up with a bright idea to take him in and take care of him until he heals. However this decision would seem to change her life, at least in her perspective to be the last thing she expected.

This was certainly a fanfic! A wild and very entertaining ride of emotions that I binged read in one night. I feel like the only thing that bothers me is the fact that there is a lot of scenes that I shouldn't be reading 😭 however it's just overall a good story even with the..you know. Anyway I have nothing but positive things to say about this fic, this is an AU without goku and takes things a different way then what dragon ball z did originally with cell, cell actually has free will!! And to be honest I love that, this version of cell is named Zed and is preferably called that way. This used to be a fic I would avoid because it's an OC/cell but I later warmed up to it and accepted it for what it was and I'm so happy that I did!! I give it a good 9.5/10 (^^)

In this fic, shadow had broken something that was really precious to him, his motorcycle!! Rouge notices he's upset and comes up with a deal. Rouge would buy him a new motorcycle in exchange for him going to 5 different party's with her. And so, with tough consideration he accepted. Little did he know in every single one of those parties he would see a certain blue hedgehog.

This was actually The first Sonic fic I’ve read as well as Sonadow fic. It's so cute! And wholesome!! （●´∀｀）ノ♡If your one who's into lighthearted fics with a nice slow burn romance I would 100% recommend this one (if you also like Sonadow..) I actually stumbled upon this one on a tumblr post community thing and I guess I was curious, one thing came after another and now its one of my favs ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡. I give this a good 9/10 because I'm still a bit unfamiliar with the sonic franchise. Other than that, adorable!!! 💖

In the past few years, there has been a sudden rise in the use of technology in various aspects of life, especially in education. With the increasing availability of digital tools and online resources, students now have more access to more information and learning opportunities than ever before. This shift has significantly changed the way we students study, collaborate, and comprehend academic content. As a Senior High School STEM student, I’ve witnessed firsthand how technology has shaped our academic journey throughout the years. Here are various reasons why technology is changing the way we learn.

1. Access to Various Sources

Back in the earlier days, the library was the primary source of information. The library was a haven not just for bookworms, but for students who needed help with their homework. The library had a collection of books that were full of specific information that assisted students in finding answers, solutions, definitions, and terms needed for their homework. Growing up in Gen Z like myself as a STEM student relies much more on technology nowadays than a physical library because with a touch of a smartphone or a click of a computer, you now have access to different websites that contain the information you need, especially when you need to conduct a research study, which most students use Google Scholar.

2. Interactive Learning Tools

Textbooks are no longer the only tools we use to learn. Interactive apps, simulations, and educational games have become commonplace in many classrooms. As a STEM student, I’ve experienced how these tools make learning more engaging. Apps like Khan Academy offer interactive courses in math, physics, and computer science, breaking down complex topics into bite-sized lessons with visual aids.

Platforms like Quizizz display flashcards that could help students enhance their active recall, memorizing, and understanding of the concepts easily because of the quiz game it offers.

3. Collaboration in Real-Time

One of the biggest changes technology has brought to education is the ability to collaborate in real-time, regardless of any location in the world. Platforms like Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom have been helping students ever since the Covid-19 pandemic struck. During the pandemic, remote learning platforms became essential for continuing education. Even though many students faced challenges with online learning, these platforms provided a way for education to continue without interruption all thanks to the implementation of Online Classes. Now, blended learning—combining in-person and online education—is becoming the norm, offering more flexibility for both teachers and students.

4. Personalized Learning

Every student learns differently, and technology is helping cater to these individual learning styles. Adaptive learning platforms use algorithms to tailor lessons to each student’s needs. If you’re struggling with a particular topic, these platforms adjust the difficulty and provide extra support until you grasp the concept. Tools like Duolingo and Grammarly, which offer students language and grammar support are just a few examples of how technology provides customized learning experiences.

For us STEM students, this is particularly helpful, especially when using Grammarly for a research project. Using Platforms like Grammarly helps correct revisable sentences and paragraphs easily in one click, providing less effort and less time-consuming for us students.

5. Preparation for the Future

Technology isn’t just transforming education for the present; it’s also preparing students for the future. As technology like AI and Programming evolves, we students could resort to learning skills like coding, and learning the different types of programming languages so that we could adjust to the evolving technology all around us.

6. The Potential Downsides

While technology has brought us numerous benefits, it’s important to acknowledge the challenges and disadvantages it presents. Overreliance on technology can often lead to distractions, with social media and games constantly thriving for attention. Furthermore, the concept of Technology and its use remains a problem in many parts of the world, where students lack access to the necessary tools and internet connectivity to fully benefit from online learning resources.

You seem so organized and constantly aiming for bigger and better projects in your life and I'm so mesmerized. How do you fight being in a slump? Like, when you feel like you have no direction and life feels a little meaningless... how do you always figure out where you're going?

I'm glad I come across that way but truthfully that's probably the more Big Picture side of it; I think what's annoying about being your own singular 'I' or 'me' is that you're constantly stuck with yourself in the small picture, the nitty gritty and grain; you're kind of aware at all times of what your intentions are and just how bigly and badly you might be failing to meet them

I'd love to know more about your side--is it coming up with ideas you're struggling with, or executing them? Or is the trouble with knowing what to do at all? I feel that all the time! Especially when we have survival in the mix, having to pay your way, it can be tough to know what to value or what's OK to spend time on...I'm really bad at finishing things. I have a lot of ideas but god helps me when it comes to getting them done. But at this point I have proof I am just sort of slow so I don't mind plugging away and taking forever

How old are you, if I can ask? Time really helps. When I was 21 (I just turned 29 yesterday!) I wrote on this blog really depressing stuff. It's how I was genuinely feeling I wrote: "i feel way too old to become anything now / i want a chrysalis; some hiding from this; / i need time for my transformations." I also wrote that I wanted life "to feel the way it looks." Well, it can't. Haha! I really believe it can't. I just can't see the interior world of other people. I cannot be so sure that they feel how they look like they're feeling. I hope they do but even so, why use what I can see as a point of comparison? I'm always going to be slightly convinced I am terribly and horribly different. I think being a person on earth is a very huge burden. I am tasked with the task of constantly picking myself up. But there is a lot I like about it. I like doing what I like, and enjoying my own taste...then of course all the earthly alive sensations like blowing wind and leaf-flutter

When I was 21, I couldn't see a way from A to Z and I think that's because the path isn't something you see, it's something you live. Any plans I put together were just too intense for someone with no experience in anything at all. I couldn't see the value in little steps until they'd suddenly added up. And now I sort of breathe easier even when I'm just doing a little. Because it all adds up

What helped the most was choosing my first commitment. Out of this first commitment (mine was my undergrad--it can be different for everybody--but mine was my undergrad which took me 7 years to finish because I kept dropping out) my life sort of took one shape...and now I'm carving out side paths and planting berries and what not...I think the hardest part is picking that initial road you're going to go down. And I say all this, but I still have a lot of Big Questions

Also, when it comes to direction and meaning -- I think everything I do comes out of an awareness of that meaningless!! I don't believe there is any direction or meaning for me outside of my own definitions, my own marks I put on the map. I come up with projects to work on mainly because there's nothing else for me to do here! I try to reflect as much as I can about what I would be the most sad about if I died in a freak accident

Do you have a project board? You can dog-ear things you might like to do one day. I don't use mine religiously, but the last three things I added to my project board are Not Really Real. They are 1) Make an Archive [cuz I stumbled across ResCarta and like the UI], 2) Make an interactive fiction game [cuz I stumbled across this online class that has a lot of course materials still posted], and 3) Write a Fan Fiction [cuz I don't like that I never had a fan fiction writing phase as a teenager and want to challenge myself to like something that much--to notice external dynamics and insert my own desires], etc.

Anyway, it's just random things! And I think about what I like in a different way. I use a mind map maker and add to it here and there. Current state below. Maybe give this a try! There's no need to worry, either, if nothing comes up. Just sort of turn the tap on and let yourself know it's open and that you won't judge what comes out. It's possibly that going to art school and having to force ideas together for creative projects quickly helped me with this practice but you can do it with whatever background you have right now :-)

  Spider, Kiri, Neteyam and Lo’ak were scattered around one of the lounge rooms of Hells Gate, art supplies strewn everywhere. Miles sat on one side of the room, carving the fin headband for his son’s costume. Jake was on the couch helping his kids with theirs. “What are you gonna be Lo’ak,” Spider asked.

          “A fan lizard!” The five year old was smearing a plant based dye all over a circular piece of fabric.

          “What about you ‘teyam?”

          “I’m going to be Bob!” Jake chuckled as he helped his eldest make wings that looked like his beloved ikran. 

           “And what about you Kiri?”

           “I’m gonna be a slinger,” the little girl said with a sadistic kind of mirth that made Miles eyebrows raise.

            “A what,” Miles asked.

             Jake cringed, “it’s a predator. It ah….it’s kinda two creatures in one. It’s got this dart like head that’s also it’s ah….baby? That can detach from its body. Which is also its parent. When it hunts, the head/offspring will detach to attack its prey then fly back to the body to eat it.” 

             Miles was silently horrified. Kiri grinned holding up the paper mache slinger head she was painting. “I’m gonna put it on a string so it can fly around!” Miles' abhorrence only grew at her enthusiasm. Jake looked defeated. 

              The door flew open with a bang. Z had kicked it open, her arms full of bundles of fabric, “special delivery!” She unceremoniously dumped the pile of old clothes by the children. “I raided an old storage room. Plenty of old jumpsuits that can be repurposed into costumes.”

              Spider pulled out a bright yellow custodian’s uniform and rushed over to his father. “Sempu this is perfect!”

             Miles inspected it. The color was just right but the outfit was sized for an adult. “Z how do y’a think I’m gonna get this to fit him?”

              Z smirked, “with a sewing machine. Dah.”

              Miles was horrified all over again. “I don’t know the first thing about any of that!”

             “Well you better to get learning! This might be the first piece of clothing you need to make for Spider but it won’t be the last!” With that Z walked out, cackling to herself.

              Jake was equally malevolent, “you heard the lady.”

              Miles glared at him. Spider’s smile slipped, “Sempu? We can still make my costume right?”

              Miles' heart twisted. His little boy sounded so close to giving up. He couldn’t stand for that. “Of course we can!” Spider’s eyes lit up. “Here I’m done with this. Go paint it.” He handed his son the headband, Spider happily skipping off. With his boy’s back turned Miles scowled. He pulled out his holopad and searched, sewing tutorials. Jake’s gaze was on him, silently mocking. Miles stared him down, cursing the man in his mind as he hit play.

My main Wild Kratts OC story! It’s uploaded on Wattpad and AO3.

The story follows a young botanist named Clover Hallows as she encounters the Wild Kratts followed by her silly little adventures with them. There’s action, adventure , romance, the perfect silly OC story for any silly OC fan.

2. Frozen AU

No surprise that it’s already been done in the fandom, but I just wanted to add my OCs into it.

Anna: Clover

Elsa: Iris

Olaf: Aster

Hans: Martin

Kristoff: Chris

Sven: Jimmy Z

Basically the story of Frozen, but with Clover, Iris, and Aster as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.

I had no other thoughts to make Martin the bad guy (Hans) unless I have the role to Zach. Otherwise, Clover x Zach would have to be a ship to deal with—

Although I am always up for some potential Clover x Martin moments.

3. Multiple Swap AUs

At this point, I got a swap AU for a swap AU, so I’ll categorize them as simply as I possibly can

Clover, Iris, and Aster with swapped roles of each other (Iris as Aster, Clover as Iris, Aster as Clover, etc). There’s two versions of this

4. Villain Clover AU

From what I’ve previously written down:

Clover becomes corrupted and turns into a villain. From an experiment gone wrong by Zach from him capturing her, she feeds into all her anger, struggles, and frustration in her life and almost overthrows Zach’s company.

She eventually has more power than him and even has a few robotic henchmen and gadgets of her own. All of which she makes Zach create. All she does is customize and design it with her signature flowery patterns and designs.

The Wild Kratts crew try their best to save Clover, but every time they intervene, they stray away from her. Iris and Aster eventually learn their sister is now evil and tries helping the Wild Kratts crew the best they can as an aspiring businesswoman and basketball player.

Seven is better than one.

Probably might end up changing the concept until it’s something I like.

5. Clover Dies AU (Major Character Death AU)

Aka my attempt at making an angst story:

After a fatal Creature Adventure leaves Clover dead, the Wild Kratts crew and her family grieve over her death.

I suppose each chapter or story dives into the crew and her family’s feelings. Plus I had an animatic idea for Aster’s chapter.

6. College AU

I don’t know HOW this is gonna work considering their ages, but imma try to make it make sense.

7. The Fresh Beat Band x Wild Kratts AU

I absolutely loved watching The Fresh Beat Band when I was younger. If you never heard of them, it’s a show of a fictional band that aired on Nick Jr.

There’s also an animated spinoff called Fresh Beat Band of Spies, but I haven’t had the time to rewatched it yet. Once I do, I’ll probably add more onto the AU.

Anyways, I’m binging the original show and having multiple fixations at the same time (aka me on a normal Tuesday), I’m like “how can I make this about the Wild Kratts and my OCs?” And behold, this AU was born:

Yea, she combat this by setting boundaries and distancing herself from the venting fo as long as she requires. Everybody respect this, and lets her vent too when she need it!

General consensuous to clean up after yourself, try not to make a mess, be nice, and don't try to flush Sunspot down tha toilet. (True story)

Kinda depends! They got peaceful days, but also got chaotic days, sometimes chaos and peace able to occur in the same day. Kinda jus depends certain events that happen and how they generally feeling.

Before i say, feel it important to mention the characters that able to drive are Stella, Sean, Sydney, and Mitchell. Zerk never got a license, Jet got his license revoked after an incident. Lillian currently got a permit. Now onto the actual cars- Like the Propulsions' saucer, Stella ship able to transform into a sleek purpleish-pink sports car with horizontal black stripes on the sides, and retractable roof. They often drive that, but sometimes when they needa fit more people, they take the Propulsions' minivan.

Might be unexpected answer, but Jet and Zerk. They (mainly Jet) usually clean up around the house while everybody out working or at school, as they both graduated and unemployed. However, at night Lillian usually goes n checks around the house to turn off any lights and clean up any messes.

Some of them normal, some of them highkey fucked up. Mitchell, Stella, and Mindy are night owls, while Jet and Lillian early risers. Mitchell gets like three hours of sleep, Stella able to go days without sleeping n be completely fine. Headcanon Jet and Sean got trouble sleeping, music help Jet fall asleep, while Sean kinda jus lay there tossing and turning. Sydney got the most normal sleep schedule ever.

As mention before, they like filming silly videos together and uploading them on YouTube. Whether it be skits, gaming, reactions, or anything else, it super fun fo them! One of their favourite game to play together is Roblox and party video games. They also like exploring abandoned buildings and going to old malls and stuff, taking pictures there and jus chilling. Also like watching cartoons together, especially Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball, Dragon Ball Z, and of course Commander Cressida.

If by 'crashing out' you mean get angry and upset, prolly Stella. She literally freak out in the movie when she lost the remote fo her ship. But if by 'crashing out' you mean sleep, definitely Cody.

Usually about once a week, most the time on weekends. They often play video games with them and jus chill and talk. Aurora and Houston often show them projects they been working on, as they like buliding robots and machines.

Loll they keep him there cause deep down they all love her, even though they get annoyed at her sometimes! He got pretty good fashion sense (mainly thanks to Stella and Lillian) and is kinda funny sometimes, when he ain't sayin brainrot. Also pretty good at games and is so random.

The Pluto in Aqua Survival Guide For Millennials and Gen Z 🚀

Part 1: Pluto through the Houses (Below) | Part 2: How The Generations Will Be Affected + Advice // Long Post Ahead++ If you’re reading this in February 2024, Pluto hasn’t officially transited into Aquarius yet but it WILL spend most of the year in it. This is giving the same vibes as 2008, the year of the US recession and subsequent global economic crash—but was, interestingly enough, when Pluto previewed Capricorn. It wasn’t exactly stable yet carried a smorgasbord of influence. In the 5 months and 2 and a half weeks it spent in the water goat’s sign, billions of charts were affected in ways we’re still studying to this day. So I consider this ‘preview’ worth studying as well because history can be cyclical.

But I think a doom and gloom perspective is redundant. We’re used to hearing how we can’t do something or how insurmountable the odds are because we typically associate Saturn with austerity. ‘The economy’s down’, ‘we can’t afford this,’ ‘climate change is worsening by the day,’ ‘10 tips to stop yourself from doom scrolling,’ including whatever well-meaning anxieties your parents reminded you of this week while you’re panicking over whether or not your Uber Eats tip is going to overdraft your account. Where Aquarius differs from Capricorn is that it prefers not to compromise its ideals over its survival. The latter are like the Millennials who project their neatly compartmentalized boomer inflicted trauma onto their subordinates because they’re from a generation where Uranus and Neptune’s dreams of job security on the horizon became lofty and farfetched by the recession. It hit when those born from the mid 80s to mid 90s would’ve been entering middle school or finishing university by that time (11-23yo). That means that those on the cusp of adolescence and at the beginning of our stages of realization in early adulthood weren’t catapulting into the abundance promised if they ‘worked hard enough’ but straight into an echoless void. No Fooling, Part 11 LEGO My Lightsaber

Din Djarin hated to disturb Grogu. His son had picked up his story telling/play with the building set and the figures right where he’d left off the night before. The ship had landed and two small figures had exited from it only to find themselves surrounded by a whole cast of characters, with at least three of them holding lightsabers. They were no longer just silver or gold hilts. They had been upgraded and bright yellow, orange, and blue blades had been attached. It had been a transformation. But they had real work to do and there was no time like the present to get it started.

“Grogu, I’m sorry, but we have to go to Jakku to look for some Imps.”

Grogu just kept on playing with the building set. It was like he hadn’t heard Djarin’s voice at all. Din Djarin took his helmet off and tried again.

“Grogu. They have a lightsaber. I don’t know which one, but we have to retrieve it. You don’t want a couple of ex-Imps wondering around Jakku with one. Who knows who’ll get hurt.”

The Mandalorian hoped that an appeal to Grogu’s natural altruism would help his case. His son looked up at him, frowned, and said one word.

“Zoh.”

Zoh? What the heck did ‘zoh’ mean? He’d been a bounty hunter for a long time but he’d never heard of anything called ‘zoh’ before.

“Not zoh, Jakku.”

Grogu frowned at him more fiercely and stepped away from the building set and the tableau that he’d been working on for the last several days. He trotted into his room and retrieved his data comp. When he saw that, Djarin realized that he was in for a lecture. He sighed. 

Grogu trotted back to him, jumped carefully onto the ‘do everything’ table that held all the building pieces and brought up and image and projected for his dad, the simpleton. A plant was displayed and the legend for the projection indicated that it’s name was z o h. Zoh. Ahh.

“Grogu, I appreciate your attention to detail as you set all this up, but Karga said the Imps we’re after are on Jakku.”

Grogu waved his dad over and pointed at the two figures that were surrounded by the others on his model of Zoh. The Mandalorian reached down and picked one up and looked at it closely. He almost dropped it. The figure was wearing an Imperial uniform that indicated that the character was an Imperial General. The face looked bland. Almost bored. But that character, that figure, was holding what looked like a gold and silver lightsaber handle. It wasn’t like any other  lightsaber Din Djarin had ever seen and he’d at least seen more than one.

“Wait. Are you telling me, that these two … figures, that you have here on Zoh, are the same two people we’re supposed to retrieve for Karga? Really, for the New Republic?”

How the heck could that be the case? 

Grogu nodded his head and grinned. He seemed happy that his dad had managed to get to that outcome with such a small amount of fuss and confusion. 

“Okay. Let’s say you’re right. Durpin and Plumestriker are on Zoh. Are the rest of these people there? Because if I look at these figures closely, it seems like Seb Ta’low and Skywalker are there along with some people we don’t know. At least, I don’t know them. Do you know them?”

Grogu nodded his head and his grin widened. The Mandalorian could see his son’s sharp white teeth gleaming, a fairly rare event.

Dank Farrik! 

Djarin set his helmet carefully on the table and looked at each figure, one at a time, careful to put them back exactly where they had been. One of the people surrounding the two Imps looked like a member of the New Republic Senate but he couldn’t remember her name. Then there was a random battle droid from the Clone Wars standing with them, clearly not happy to see the Imps. 

“Now let me see if I understand all this. You think that these two men are on Zoh and Seb and Skywalker and the others are there too. If that’s the case, we don’t need to go there at all. I can just contact Seb and let him know that we need those two to be turned over to the New Republic.”

Grogu shook his head vehemently. 

Djarin sighed. Again.

“What now?”

“Busy.”

One word. That was something he was still getting used to. Grogu knew many words in Gal Basic. Probably more words than the Mandalorian used on any given day. But he refused to say more than one word at a time. Unless he was cursing. Then two words came out. Uff.

“You’re telling me that they are too busy to help capture some rogue Imps?”

Grogu nodded his head. He was grinning at his dad again and the Mandalorian felt like a pet that had done a trick the way its master intended it to. 

“Fine. We will go to Zoh. We will pick up Durpin and Plumestriker and we will bring them to Captain Teva for processing. Hopefully one of your friends has a ship bigger than the N-1. If they’re too busy to help at least they can let use their ship to deliver those two.”

Grogu nodded and Din Djarin found himself on the receiving end of hug when his son hurtled himself across the table. Nothing in the tableau was disrupted but things had changed. The various lightsaber baring characters seemed to be saluting him as was the battle droid. Whatever. 

If they didn’t find these two Imps on Zoh, they could always go to Jakku and catch up with them there. Maybe stop on Takodana and visit with some old friends. Or go to Tatooine and see if Seb Ta’low was around. Clearly Djarin needed to understand a lot more about the Force and how it could be used. If Grogu was going to be predicting the future, he really wanted to know how that worked. He didn’t want to walk in on his son playing a game and discover it was all about a time of parting or another battle or anything other than predicting whether or not it would rain after he’d polished his armor. That topic was okay because he knew that it always rained, even on Tatooine after he’d polished his armor, in some way shape or form. 

“Okay, Kid. Let’s go.”

Mateo was rummaging through his locker, carefully placing what he would need for the school day inside next to Z-Blob when he heard a clang from the locker next to him. 

Curious Mateo peaked his head around his locker door and found Logan leaning against the other locker dressed in a Sonic the Hedgehog onesie, hood up instead of wearing his cap, and sneakers on his feet. 

“Seriously bro? Your Dream Sona?” Logan questioned. 

Mateo glanced down at himself. He had chosen to dress in a makeshift replica of his Dream World clothes for Halloween so currently he had a green cape, belt, and cardboard hourglass on his figure. 

“You’re one to talk,” Mateo shot back playfully, “You’re blue,” 

“I’ll have you know this isn’t even my real costume,” Logan protested, pushing himself off the locker, “We built a Master Chief Halo cosplay that I was going to wear but then my moms wouldn’t let me because they said it was “too violent” so I couldn’t bring it to school, but just you wait when trick-or-treating time rolls around we’se gonna be wearing that bad boy.” 

Mateo couldn’t help the snort that escaped him as he closed his locker and locked it, “Ok but why Sonic?” 

Logan grinned, “Because we’re both cool, blue, and we gotta-“ 

Logan was cut off as Izzie sprang out from behind him and yelled, “GOTTA GO FAST!” 

“AGH!” Logan jumped in surprise and Mateo snickered.  

Izzie was dressed up as Anya from Spy x Family so she had two cone-looking things pinned in her hair which she had styled to look like Anya’s, and she wore a black dress with gold details. 

With a chuckle, Izzie said, “Oooo, nice Sonic costume Logan, it suits you.” 

Logan swallowed and seemed to calm himself before accepting Izzie’s compliment, “Thanks, but it’s not as cool as our Halo cosplay we have at home.” 

Izzie gasped as she made a shocked Pikachu face, “Halo cosplay!?” 

Logan nodded and then went on to explain to Izzie how he wasn’t allowed to bring it to school as he pulled out his phone to show her pictures of his cosplay. 

Mateo returned his attention to his backpack and Z-Blob. He gave Z a small “See you soon buddy,” and a wave goodbye as Z gave a squish -sounding noise before Mateo zipped his bag halfway up. Cautiously, Mateo then slipped his backpack on to not wreck his costume or jostle Z-Blob. 

As Mateo took a step back with the new weight settled on his back he felt someone come up behind him. 

“I didn’t expect to come to school today and see Logan in his pajamas,” The person muttered as if he only wanted Mateo to hear and Mateo felt his mood brighten as it clicked that Cooper was the one standing behind him. 

Mateo chuckled as he tilted his head back to try and see Cooper, “They’re his pajamas?” 

“Yeah, I’ve been over to their house enough times to know,” Cooper said, chuckling slightly as he slid up beside Mateo and sheepishly held his hand out for the other to take. 

Mateo hesitated, unsure if he’d get into any trouble with the teachers for holding Cooper’s hand but at the last second he grabbed it as Cooper started to pull his hand away. 

Cooper flexed his hand and then squeezed Mateo’s hand. Mateo gave a shy squeeze back only to catch the appalled look Izzie was giving him. 

“COOPER!” Izzie yelled, just as Mateo was about to ask his sister what was up with the look. 

“Hm?” Cooper hummed. 

Izzie gestured at him wildly while Logan’s eyes widened for a second only for him to shake his head in disappointment. 

“You’re not wearing a costume!” Izzie pointed out. 

“Ah, yeah I couldn’t think of anything,” Cooper admitted, rubbing at the back of his neck. Mateo turned slightly and looked Cooper over. He did indeed not have a costume on, just sweatpants and a red hoodie. 

Logan cocked his head to the side in confusion, “Come on bro, you didn’t want to be like one of those racers you like, or like Tails!? We could’ve matched!” 

“Um, nope,” 

“Bro!” Logan exploded, “Come on, even Zoey wore a costume!” He pointed out, gesturing towards Zoey as she walked past the group. 

Zoey stopped and turned to join the group. She wore black leggings, a black shirt with one or two rips in it with the image of a bird being shot with an arrow on the front, which was underneath a black leather jacket that had a few pins and patches on it. She also wore combat boots, fingerless gloves, a yellow belt, and a domino mask tied around her head. 

“I’m not wearing a costume,” Zoey said. 

Logan turned and squinted, looking Zoey over, “Ain’t you like Batgirl or someone though?” 

Zoey blankly turned her gaze towards him, “I’m Black Canary,” 

Logan jumped excitedly and pointed a finger at Zoey, “Aha! See,” he exclaimed before moving his finger to point at Cooper. Cooper frowned. 

Mateo gave Cooper’s hand another squeeze, “I didn’t think you’d wear a costume this year Zoey,” 

Zoey crossed her arms casually, “If I’d had known Cooper was going to wuss out and not wear one I wouldn’t have,” 

“Hey!” Cooper protested trying to defend himself, “I didn’t wuss out,” 

Logan smirked victoriously and crossed his arms too as if he was mimicking Zoey, “Then where’s your costume bro?”  

Cooper opened and closed his mouth a few times, trying to think of something, “I-uh,” 

Izzie gasped suddenly causing all of the older teens to turn towards her. Izzie’s eyes were wide and full of mischief like she had just thought of the funniest prank ever, “I GOT IT,” 

Mateo squinted, “Got what Izzie?” 

Izzie took a step forward and held a hand out towards Logan, “Sunglasses me,” 

Without even questioning it, Logan pulled a pair of sunglasses out of the front pocket of his onesie and handed them over to Izzie wordlessly. Humming a “Thanks,” at Logan, Izzie skipped over to Cooper and stood on her tippy-toes to put them on Cooper, failing of course when the arms of the sunglasses ended up poking Cooper in the face instead of properly sliding on. Cooper grunted and took the sunglasses from Izzie to put them on without so he wouldn’t get poked again. 

Proudly, Izzie took a step back and spread her hands wide in Cooper’s direction like she was showing him off to Logan and Zoey, “Tada! Cooper now has a costume! He’s a celebrity hiding from paparazzi!” 

A grin split Logan’s face as he clapped his hands together in quick succession, “Oooo, smart,” 

Cooper hung his head as if he was embarrassed, “Is this really necessary?” 

“Yes,” Izzie insisted instantly. 

“Ok,”  

Mateo watched his friends and sister for a second, amused, as Izzie and Logan began to spitball ideas for which celebrity specifically Cooper was before leaning back to look around Cooper where he locked eyes with Zoey. Zoey shrugged as if she was just as confused about the list of celebrities Logan was running off which caused Mateo to giggle. 

“So, I take it you’re not going trick-or-treating,” Mateo assumed. 

Zoey shook her head, “Nope, I’m helping Mrs. C prep her food truck for winter,” 

Logan briefly stopped his list to comment, “Ew, working on a holiday,” 

“Eh, I offered to help, not a big deal.” 

For a second a frown came to Mateo’s face, “Guess you won't be over for movie night then,” 

Zoey shrugged and dropped her arms to her side to rest them on her hips, “Yep,” 

“Us neither,” Logan mentioned, shrugging his shoulder in Izzie’s direction. His attention was most definitely split between the two conversations happening. 

Mateo blinked and turned his head back towards the others, “What?” 

Izzie half rolled her eyes before punching Logan harshly in the side which caused him to yelp.

“Logan’s taking me and Nova trick-or-treating,” she admitted. 

Mateo couldn’t help himself from gapping, “Wha-why Logan!?” 

“What’d I do?” Logan asked, glancing back and forth between the two Garcia siblings. 

“Well, Dad said I had to have one of you older kids go with us,” 

“But Logan? You could’ve asked me,” Mateo protested, letting go of Cooper’s hand to gesture at Logan and then his own self. 

Why would Logan be taking them? Between Izzie and Nova, they had plenty of other people to choose from to go with them.

Izzie walked over and wrapped an arm around his shoulders before explaining in a low voice, “I just didn’t want to take you out of your comfort zone Broseph, I know you hate going outside for Halloween. What with all the creepies and people and stuff,” 

“Oh,” Mateo mumbled, that … made sense he supposed. It was nice of Izzie of course, he just still couldn’t believe she’d asked Logan to go with them. As much as he had changed over the years he was still Logan. 

As Izzie let go, Mateo re-entered Cooper’s personal space bubble and watched as the blond tugged at his fingers trying to crack them. “Guess that means it’ll just be you and me,” Cooper mentioned, “watching horror movies, alone … together,” 

A sound that Mateo could only describe as ‘squiem’came from Mateo’s backpack and Cooper jumped a little only to recover and peek into Mateo’s backpack to see the source of the sound. 

“Oh and Z-Blob,” he added. 

Mateo let the snickers coming from Izzie and Logan slide and only shook his head. 

“Well, well, well,” The silly and happy mood of the group quickly dropped as the third bane of all of their existence walked up to the group, grinning coldly. Jared Moretti, Logan and Dallas’s ex-best friend, but unlike the both of them, Jared had yet to realize bullying people wasn’t cool or funny like he seemed to think it was. 

He wore his usual attire, a black beanie over his greasy brown hair, a blue New York Yankees baseball jersey, and jeans, no costume in sight. Knowing him that tracked. 

“If it isn’t the freak squad,” Jared went on, “of course the lot of you were lame enough to wear costumes to school, so childish.” 

Smirking, Logan asked, “Freak squad? What are you nine bro?” 

Jared stopped short and let out some undignified sputters, “You- YOU’RE WEARING COSTUMES TO SCHOOL!” 

“Because it’s Halloween Hared,” Izzie responded calmly, her accent coming out a little and causing her to pronounce ‘Jared’ with a ‘h’ sound instead of ‘j’ , “it’s the normal thing to do,” 

“I-uh-WELL IT'S LAME,” Jared protested, going red in the face as Izzie reached over to fist bump Logan, “all of you and your costumes are lame, especially yours,” 

Mateo’s heart dropped as Jared turned his sneer toward him, “What are you even supposed to be? A snot-themed superhero?” 

Mateo couldn’t help but wince and took a step back to hide himself a bit more behind Cooper as Cooper sighed like he was entirely done with Jared’s bull crap. 

“And this is why I didn’t want to wear a costume,” Cooper muttered. Mateo cast a sad look up at him and grabbed his hand again and in response Cooper smiled down at him as he reached over to pat Mateo on the head. 

“Yeah! Captain Boogers, made from the mucus slime of the sewers!” Jared teased meanly. 

Izzie let out a growl-like sound as she glared at Jared. Logan also looked equally as annoyed as Cooper but he quickly started to look enraged as Jared walked past Zoey and shoved her causing her to stumble backward a bit. 

Jared laughed, so full of himself and his sad excuse of a bullying attempt that he completely missed as Cooper casually stuck out his foot which Jared tripped over and then fell to the ground with an, “AH!” 

Jared landed harshly on his front and groaned.  

Mateo tugged harshly on Cooper’s hand, dragging the blond down slightly so he was at Mateo's height, yet this did nothing to disperse the victorious smile on Cooper’s face. 

“Cooper!” Mateo hissed. 

“Whhhaaaaat?” Cooper drawled out, faking innocence that was the final tipping point that led to Logan barking out a laugh. 

“I know he sucks but you didn’t need to trip him,” 

“It’s just a little payback,” Cooper insisted, clenching his free hand into a fist as his smile wavered. 

“Cooper!” 

“Fine!” Cooper finally caved, he stood back up to his full height and tilted his head towards Jared who was just beginning to recover from his fall, “Hey, sorry Jared, there. Better?” He asked, turning back to Mateo. 

As forced as Cooper’s apology had been Mateo accepted it begrudgingly, “Por los libros de medicina de mi padre,” He grumbled as he facepalmed into his free hand and Izzie let out an amused snort. 

“Mr. Oaks!” Jared yelled, pushing himself up onto his forearms as Mr. Oaks, the main math teacher for the juniors, walked past in a giant inflatable dinosaur costume, “Cooper tripped me!” 

Mr. Oaks stopped and readjusted his glasses as he took in the group. He then sighed and rubbed at the bridge of his nose as he seemed to mutter, “God help me,” under his breath. 

Zoey moved out of the way and headed over to stand beside Logan as Mr. Oaks took a step towards Jared where he held down a hand to help him up only for it to be swatted away. With a frown Mr. Oaks rubbed at his hand before switching his attention to reprimand Cooper, whose hand was beginning to grow sweaty, “Cooper, you know tripping your classmates isn’t good student behavior,” 

“What!? I didn’t trip him, he just… ran into my foot,” Cooper insisted. 

“Cooper,” Mr. Oaks warned, taking a clipboard and pen out of somewhere to begin to write on it, “I’m afraid I’m going to have to write you up a note to take to the principal,” 

“I-“ Cooper’s face fell as he hung his head in shame, “yes Mr. Oaks,” 

Mateo felt the grip on his hand loosen and the school rules on PDA quickly came rushing back to him. Mateo was seconds away from letting go when Logan suddenly lurched forward and grabbed Cooper by the wrist. 

“Dude! Run!” With a violent yank, Logan pulled Cooper away from Mateo before hauling him down the hall. Once the pair reached the hallway t-intersection Logan put the brakes on so he could shove Cooper to the side and around the corner where they disappeared from view. 

By the time Mr. Oaks managed to react, the two were already long gone, “Ay? Hey! Cooper! Logan! No running in the halls!” and without so much as another word to Jared, Mr. Oaks hurried down the hall after Logan and Cooper, his blow up dinosaur costume bouncing goofily.  

“Ugh,” Jared grumbled as he managed to stagger to his feet. He shot both Izzie and Zoey a dirty look before flipping Mateo the birdy and storming off past Dallas, who had just walked into the area, like his entire day had just been ruined. 

Mateo cringed as Izzie wondered aloud, “Why’s Jared always gotta be so moody?” 

“Maybe he’s a closeted theater kid,” Zoey responded in a dry tone so Mateo wasn’t sure if she was joking or not. 

“PFFFF,” Izzie seemed to have taken it as a joke. 

Dallas, who was dressed in an extremely white fluffy shirt, wolf gloves, and a headband with wolf ears attached to them, blew out a puff of air as he walked over to stand beside Zoey, “I can’t believe I invited that jerk over to my party,” 

Mateo squinted in confusion, “You didn’t have too?” 

Dallas deflated slightly and went on to scuff at the ground with his shoe, “His parents and mine are besties, as soon as my mom heard about my party she put him on the top of the list so my hands are kind of tied,” 

“Gross,” Izzie commented. 

“Yeah, yeah, I wouldn’t mind it as much if he wasn’t still such a bully,” Dallas grit out, “he hasn’t matured at allsince like grade four,” 

“ You’ve matured a lot Dallas,” Mateo mentioned. 

Dallas paused for a second, “Thank Mateo,” he said carefully, “I suppose you guys aren’t coming over to my party though,” 

“Yep! We got plans!” Izzie nodded aggressively as she informed Dallas. 

Mateo hugged his backpack strap, “I’m watching horror movies with Cooper,” 

Dallas snorted, “Oooh, scandalous,” 

“Dallas!” Mateo hoped he wasn’t blushing. 

Dallas chuckled as Izzie butt in to tell him her plans, “I’m trick-or-treating with Nova and Logan,” 

“Sweet! Literally. Makes sense, Logan still hasn’t quite lost that kid spirit yet,” 

“Mhm!” With Izzie’s hum of agreement, Dallas raised an eyebrow at Zoey, offering her a moment to add in what she was doing. 

“I’m helping Mrs. C prep her truck for winter,” Zoey answered, repeating to a degree what she had said earlier. 

“Ooooh, that reminds me, I have to stop by and pick up that salsa,” Dallas’s eyes lit up with sudden knowledge and Mateo was left to wonder why Dallas was going to pick up salsa from Mrs. Castillo’s food truck when he could’ve just gotten some at a grocery store. 

Zoey nodded, “It goes bad tomorrow,” 

“If any of you guys do stop by though I’ll save you some pop,” Dallas told them, shooting finger guns at Zoey who just scoffed and grabbed him in a headlock to ruffle his hair violently. 

Ok, Mateo must have missed a lore dump somewhere. 

Dallas laughed as he freed himself from Zoey’s grip and stumbled over a few feet out of her reach. 

“Hey, wait,” Izzie spoke up, tapping her finger on her chin, “Dallas what are you supposed to be exactly?” 

“I’m a sheep in wolf's clothing,” Dallas responded, grinning smugly as he made a finger gun with one of his hands and put it up to his chin. 

“Ooooh, that makes a lot of sense actually,” Izzie muttered as Zoey pulled a paper clip out of her pocket and flung it at Dallas. 

Dallas yelped and dodged the paper clip, coming to stand over by Mateo. 

“Isn’t that really warm on you?” Mateo asked, eyeing him a little. 

A sweat droplet trickled down Dallas’s face as his smile faltered, “Very,”

Cooper hurried down the hall, checking over his shoulder for Mr. Oaks, who he had been avoiding for most of the day since Logan and he had gone on the run only to turn around a corner in the hall and almost run right into Izzie. 

“AH! Izzie!” Cooper jumped back as his heart rate spiked. 

Izzie reacted with a lot more grace, “OOOOHHH COOPER!” She yelled, holding up something, “I have made something for you! I know a much better thing that you can be for Halloween now!” 

Copper blinked and inched forward a little to look at what she was holding, “Is that … a headband with cardboard wings glued to the sides?” 

“Yes,” she responded with the certainty that only Izzie could possess, “now hold still while I put them on.” 

With that, Izzie yanked Cooper down to her height by the collar of his hoodie and pulled his hood over his face before fitting the headband onto his head. What with the sunglasses, that somehow Cooper had kept on all day, it felt a little clunky. 

“Ack,” Cooper grunted but eventually Izzie stopped messing around with the headband and took a step back with a pleased look on her face. Her face then brightened even more as she spotted someone coming up from behind Cooper. 

Cooper stood back up and reached a hand up to touch the flimsy headband wings. 

“Logan!” Izzie shouted excitedly as she grabbed Cooper by the arm and turned him around, “Behold Hermes Cooper!” 

Logan jogged up to the two, his backpack on, looking ready to head home as soon as possible. He stopped once he reached them, a bright grin and quizzical look on his face. 

“Hermes? Like Epic the Musical Hermes?” Logan questioned. 

“Yep! The sunglasses reminded me of those animatics so I just had to make him some wings to go with them in art class,” Izzie explained proudly. 

Logan snorted, “You look sick dude,” 

“I’m wearing a hoodie and sunglasses,” Cooper said slowly, it was the bare bones of a costume if anything. 

“Yeah like I said, sick,” 

There was a pause before Cooper put his face in his hands, “oh my god,” 

Izzie let out a wheeze, “Cooper’s hung over from the moly,” 

“Izzie,” 

“Pffff, he doesn’t got any leafs on him though,” Logan pointed out.

“That’s true…” Izzie agreed, resting her chin on her hand as she trailed off. 

“Oh wait!” Logan exclaimed, sliding his backpack off before zipping it open and beginning to rummage around in it. He pulled out a sandwich which was still sealed away in a zip-bloc bag so he pulled it open. From the sandwich, Logan slipped a piece of lettuce that was covered in mayonnaise and mustard that he slapped down into Cooper’s open, outstretched palm. 

“There! Holy moly to complete the look!” Logan proclaimed as Izzie doubled over laughing. 

Cooper stared down at the sad piece of lettuce in his hand, “… thanks,” 

Logan shrugged, throwing the sandwich back into his backpack and throwing his bag back onto his back, “No problem bro,” 

Cooper continued to look at the lettuce in dismay until he felt someone grab his elbow and he glanced over to find Mateo standing beside him, who was looking at the lettuce in hand with a mix of amusement and confusion. 

“… lettuce?” Mateo wondered. 

“Mateo please,” Cooper was sure he was going to die of embarrassment before anything actually managed to kill him.

GWOHHH I GOT CAUGHT UP ON SCHOOL STUFF SO I FORGOT ABOUT THE APPLIN THING LOL- so here it is... almost 3 hours late, sorry!

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who joined again! It really makes me happy that anyone participated at all. I loved all of the submissions, but this is a contest so they will be ranked.

I've said it before, but the composition of this piece is very good! They're all arranged nicely and all the applins seem to have their own personality. (I especially love the hydrapple to the right. He's getting silly and he doesn't even have a license!) The little speckles and textures are also a nice touch! Overall, pretty great!

This piece is so pretty! The characters are well proportioned and posed, the shading is great, and I love the texture! Adding a background definitely gives you extra points, and you did a really good job! Especially the sky, the different layers of blue and white are subtle, but beautiful!

He looks like he's about to shoot a 252spatk all-out fickle beam with helping hand against a 0spdef/0hp level 1 noibat, guaranteed OHKO. Adding a Hydreigon to the fray is super cute since they're both little dragons who grow up to be hydras. Very silly :3

Again with the adorable art! I really love the implication that Kieran might've doodled the porygon-z on the league club white board, so this just takes it a step further. The facial expression, the shadows, and the other little things on the whiteboard make this very fun to look at!

OHHHH.... I ADORE this fic! Watching those two idiots give each other signs and completely missing it despite doing the same things is very in-character. This fic is so darn cute, I think it would even overwhelm Lacey. I enjoyed this piece in its entirety, and you all should go read it!
