The finale episode of I Feel You Linger In The Air was so good. I don’t want this show to end and I’m so hopeful we get a second season. The teasers we got for the possibility were so good and I love the idea of exploring further and adapting the rest of the book to screen.
I knew the ending was going to be some form of the good ending, just in case they can’t get the funding for a second season but it didn’t feel that way. It felt like a hopeful ending with Jom reuniting with Yai in this life. Though they leave it out of the show, present Yai is Lek’s great grandson and his mother (Lek’s granddaughter) is the woman who owns the house. So you know Yai is his own great grand nephew haha (still a more straight forward family tree then the one in UWMA so you know hahaha).
This show (and Kiseki) have been the shows I’ve been (not so) silently obsessing over the past few weeks and I would definitely encourage anyone who hasn’t watched it already to go and watch it right now, especially if you like period dramas. It’s available to watch for free on youtube, yes even the uncut version so please watch it.
Definitely a 10/10 for me. While there are some minor issues, it’s a solid show that comes through with everything it promises and unlike a lot of Tee Bundit shows, doesn’t get too bogged down with unnecessary details. It manages to use those details to inform the plot and the characters.
The only question left now is who do I have to yell at to shut up and take my money in order to get season 2 greenlit?

David Tennant pissing off the Prime Minister bc he told government officials to stfu over their anti-trans bigotry and Michael Sheen literally poisoning himself investigating corporations dumping toxic chemicals in underprivileged areas is NOT the energy I expected from 2024 but oh man am I here for it.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

there’s something sooo sickening about how dunmeshis whole energy is like sometimes something terrible and awful happens to you and it changes you forever and nothing can make you the person you were before but there’s still love and there’s still sharing a meal together and there’s still living

People liking your personal OCs is still such a crazy feeling, I've been doing this for years and ppl asking about them still fills my entire heart with warmth and idk how to handle it
You enjoy this fictional guy I made up for fun?? Whose only content is random artwork or writing made by me and a handful of other artists at most? They have no show/book/game with a large fandom, it's just one person with an art blog?? I love u

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
because WHAT are people talking about sometimes
