Although this piece was originally requested, I have decided to categorize it under my original ideas instead.

Yuichiro, Muichiro's older twin brother, initially had reservations about Y/n when she first entered their lives. However, as time went on and he saw how much she cared for Muichiro and supported him, the older twin began to appreciate her presence. He recognized her efforts in taking care of the household chores and providing companionship to him when Muichiro was away on missions.

Gradually, Yuichiro started to warm up to Y/n and developed a friendship with her. He saw how happy she made Muichiro and how she brought a sense of balance and joy into their lives. Yuichiro realized that his skepticism was unfounded and that Y/n genuinely cared for his brother.

As Y/n and Muichiro's relationship grew, Yuichiro witnessed the love and affection they shared. He could see the positive impact Y/n had on Muichiro's life, helping Muichiro overcome his self-doubt and supporting him in his role as a demon slayer. Yuichiro respected their bond and became supportive of their relationship.

Whenever Muichiro was away on a mission, Y/n would accompany Yuichiro in their estate. They would spend time together, engaging in conversation, helping each other with tasks, or simply enjoying each other's company. Yuichiro appreciated having Y/n around as she brought a sense of warmth and companionship to the household.

Yuichiro sighed and leaned against the kitchen counter, watching Y/n continue her task. "I know you're always willing to help, but sometimes I feel guilty. You've done so much for us already, and I don't want you to feel burdened."

Yuichiro added, “plus that’s Mui’s chore.”

“Haha, it’s fine, Yui, I don’t mind at all.” Y/n added. "Plus, Muichiro has enough on his plate with his demon slaying duties. I don't mind taking care of the chores around here.”

"That applies to you as well," Yuichiro retorted, his tone laced with determination.

“True, I still have to do a patrol after.”

"And yet, you decided to help me with the chores? Are you an idiot?" Yuichiro's worry and concern spilled out in his words, laced with a touch of frustration.

He couldn't fathom why Y/n would willingly take on the responsibility of helping him with the chores despite knowing she had a patrol ahead. His concern for her safety and well-being was evident, even if it came across as harsh.

To which Y/n chuckled softly, recognizing the underlying care behind Yuichiro's sharp words, “Ahaha~”

Their small light-hearted argument came to a halt as Muichiro stepped into the premises of the estate. Y/n and Yuichiro immediately turned their attention to him, noticing the disheveled state of his clothes concern etched their faces as they approached him.

“Mui, you okay?” Y/n's concern deepened as she gently cupped Muichiro's cheeks, her touch comforting and reassuring. She carefully surveyed his body, her eyes scanning for any signs of injury or distress.

Muichiro leaned into her touch, finding solace in her presence. His eyes met hers, gratitude evident in his gaze. "I'm okay, Y/n.”

Muichiro changed into more casual attire while Y/n and Yuichiro continued their tasks in the kitchen. Y/n assisted Yuichiro with the final preparations of the meal. The aroma of food filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the twin's estate.

They gathered around the dining table, a familiar routine for the three of them. It had become a normal occurrence to share their meals, a time for them to connect and share their days.

After the meal, fatigue slowly settled upon Muichiro, his weariness becoming apparent. Yuichiro observed Muichiro's fatigued expression and realized that his younger twin needed some rest. Normally, it was Muichiro's responsibility to wash the dishes after their meals, but Yuichiro understood that today was different. He wanted Muichiro to have a chance to recover and recharge.

“You've had a long day, Mui. Why don't you go and rest?”

“Eh?” Muichiro looked surprised but accepted his brother's offer. "Thank you, nii-san. I appreciate it." Muichiro gave them both a nod of gratitude before slowly making his way to his room, his steps heavy with exhaustion.

As Y/n and Yuichiro cleared the table and washed the dishes, their actions were accompanied by quiet conversation and occasional laughter. Once finished, the dishes neatly arranged and the kitchen tidied up, the twin's estate grew quiet, the only sound being the faint echo of their footsteps.

"I'm heading out now. See you all tomorrow. Take care, Yui," Y/n waved goodbye, and Yuichiro returned the gesture, his eyes following Y/n's form as she walked away before he eventually retreated back to the estate.

Yuichiro quietly entered Muichiro's room, sliding the door open with care. The room was dimly lit, creating a serene atmosphere as he observed his younger brother's peaceful form, nestled snugly under the blanket of the futon. Muichiro appeared to be in a deep sleep, undisturbed by the events of the day.

Yuichiro patted Muichiro's head, a comforting gesture between the twin brothers, a mix of love and concern swelled within him. Understanding the physical and emotional toll that being a demon slayer took on Muichiro, knowing that his younger twin's life was constantly on the line.

He found solace in sometimes taking on the household chores by himself. Feeling the mounting pressure Yuichiro finally decided to speak his mind to which led to an amusing sight for Y/n.

“Mui. Do your chores, its your assigned one.”

“Can you do it instead?” Muichiro asked, he was occupied with hugging Y/n, seemingly oblivious to the mounting tension in the room.

Y/n found herself caught in the middle, glancing back and forth between the siblings. The situation had taken an unexpectedly amusing turn, and she couldn't help but suppress a chuckle at the sight before her.

“…” This somewhat snapped Yuichiro, his younger twin's lack of awareness only added to his irritation, causing him to close his eyes briefly, taking a moment to compose himself.

When he opened his eyes, a stern and irked look settled on Yuichiro's features. His voice carried a hint of exasperation as he called, “Muichiro.”

Muichiro blinked, a hint of confusion on his face. "Eh? What are you mad about, nii-san?" he asked innocently, still failing to grasp the tension in the room.

"You... You've been like this ever since you started dating Y/n," Yuichiro finally blurted out, his tone revealing his annoyance and exasperation.

Muichiro seeking Y/n's support, puffed his cheeks as he turned to her, seeking validation. "Y/n! You're on my side, right?!" Muichiro exclaimed, his eyes pleading for her agreement. "That seaweed head is too narrow-headed, isn't he?" he added, referring to his older twin.

Y/n couldn't help but find the situation amusing, although she made sure to maintain a neutral expression. Before she could respond, Yuichiro interjected, pointing a finger at Muichiro with a serious expression, clearly irked.

"Stop your style of involving others at all costs!" he retorted, not wanting Muichiro to drag her into their disagreement.

Y/n struggled to contain her laughter, finding the sight of the twins engaged in their childlike argument incredibly amusing. Their antics, combined with their electricity-glaring, were a comical sight that she couldn't help but enjoy.

However, her momentary amusement was interrupted when someone called out to the estate. The sudden interruption drew their attention away from their squabble. Yuichiro, with a stern look, gestured to Muichiro, signaling for him to go and check on the source of it. But instead of complying, Muichiro puffed his cheeks and turned away, clinging onto Y/n's arm.

His twin's continued reluctance and stubbornness earned irked marks on Yuichiro's expression. His eyes twitched with frustration as he glared at his twin, feeling the weight of the responsibility falling on his shoulders once again.

“…” With a loud and exasperated sigh, Yuichiro decided to take matters into his own hand and check the disturbance himself. He left the room, leaving Muichiro and Y/n behind.

Y/n's gentle actions and playful flick on Muichiro's head caught him by surprise. He let out a surprised gasp, momentarily taken aback by her light gesture.

“But… I thought you were on my side, Y/n.” Muichiro said, his voice, filled with a mix of adorably pleading and a touch of heartbreak which tugged Y/n's heartstrings. “I just wanna be with you.”

“I am on your side.” Y/n said, poking his cheeks, causing a slight twitch in his expression. “But you should help your brother, he’s the only one left in your family remember?” Her words resonated with him, softening his reluctance and stubbornness.

Furthermore, Y/n added a playful yet impactful condition. "If you don't do your chores, I won't spend any time with you," she stated firmly, her voice carrying a hint of light-heartedness mixed with genuine concern.

Muichiro's expression wavered, a mixture of surprise and realization crossing his face. The thought of not being able to spend time with Y/n due to his negligence was a consequence he didn't want to face.

Once Yuichiro had returned, he found Muichiro diligently washing the dishes, he blinked, momentarily taken aback by his brother's unexpected action.

Curious about what had transpired, Yuichiro turned to Y/n, a questioning look in his eyes. He sensed that she had played a role in motivating Muichiro to fulfill his responsibilities.

Y/n met Yuichiro's gaze, her voice barely above a whisper as she responded. "I may or may not have given him some motivation," she admitted, a mischievous smile playing on her lips to which Yuichiro couldn't help but chuckle softly.

He approached Muichiro as he couldn't resist teasing his younger twin a little further. handing him a dirty plate even though he had already finished washing. Muichiro's pout deepened, and he shot a playful glare at his older brother.

Yuichiro couldn't help but smirk, finding amusement in Muichiro's reaction. He reached out and gently patted his twin's head, a fond expression on his face. "You should hurry up and do your other chores, Mui. You don't want to keep Y/n waiting," he teased.

Muichiro huffed, his cheeks puffing out in a mix of annoyance and amusement. He muttered, "You're a bully, nii-san..."

She wouldnt exactly scream or show signs of fear on the ride, but would gasp if you showed any. Therefore, she holds your hand tighter for reassurance

Let me preface this with: I fucking love Buggy (I would die protecting him) and I have been WAITING for the perfect match up for him, and darlin' you're it.

Buggy would fall into your orbit immediately. The moment you first throw out your magnetic flirting, the man is toast– he's buttered up with obsession and you will be his absolute everything. He will look at you like you hung the fucking moon in the sky and that you make the birds sing and that you make his heart keep beating in his chest.

It's wonderful that you're a hype man, because believe it or not, that's really what Buggy needs. He is constantly failing upwards and it scares him. He doesn't think he deserves any notoriety–he doesn't think he deserves love at all. You would be the light he looks to for encouragement. If he can have you, maybe he does deserve to have it all, right?

He is also going to need your rational outlook because while you have a little delulu, he has a lotta delulu. He, too, is a self-sabotaging mess, but I am a firm believer that sometimes two messes can come together and somehow keep each other sane and whole.

Physical touch is also Buggy's love language. He will always want to be holding hands, fiddling with your fingers, and for the love of all things holy PLEASE play with his hair. He would let you braid it, string it into pig tails to fit in his hat, or even just let you rake your fingers through it at night in bed. He loves that shit. Put flowers in it, too.

Buggy likes to be the center of attention, but even more so he would love to watch you be the center of attention. He would love to watch you do karaoke, dance, and have a wonderful time. And, even better, as a little attention whore himself, he would love to the subject of your photography. He will literally get into any pose you ask him, (especially if he's naked). And if you show him photos you take candidly, of him being warm and soft and just enjoying life, he might literally burst into pieces of happiness.

I'm so glad that you'll be using the rec list and I hope you find plenty to read :) in my early fandom days I would never venture onto ao3 because of all the landmines hidden under even seemingly innocuous fics, which are so upsetting, so I def understand your reluctance. that site IS evil. but I'm really glad I powered through for this project because I've ended up with so many!

I've been using the AO3rdr extension for firefox, which can hide tags during browsing. it's been such a lifesaver. if you were following me back then you'd see I'd post entire pages of blacklisted fics like "well I'm glad I don't have to waste my time with this!"

because you mentioned trans wwx and lwj, I just want to link you to a fic that I forgot to add to the list yesterday: the whole day alone with you by fantasiavii. it's super sweet and I just added it now. unfortunately I only have three or four works for trans wx in total, but I really love the ones that I do have

safety is my goal, but my memory isn't perfect so that's why I also suggest deferring to author notes and just being careful in general...authors can also post anything at any time that I don't see because I'm not checking their profiles daily. but I try to be thorough with my warnings and on the whole I would consider my rec list safe if you know what you can tolerate and if you read the descriptions and author/work issues.

he usually sleeps like a starfish but sometimes curls into a ball

I've never been so happy to wake up and see an even longer wall of text than the previous night. You're always more than welcome to send me your headcanons whenever you'd like and if you have a name or emoji or anything you want to be referred to as lmk :) I hope you don't mind me commenting to your headcanons and adding on to them.

The Tsukasa ones are so good. I've never really thought much about how he got his loft bedroom until seeing this and I love this headcanon. Like, I've thought it was weird how a teenager could deal with a open bedroom like his, but with Tsukasa I pretty much thought that he just doesn't like the closed in feeling of an actually bedroom and feels more comfortable with a more open and bright room.

Thought it's not a very common thing in U.S., at least as far as I have ever seen, I adore the idea of Tsukasa (and Rui) sharing his food with his s/o. I've thought for a while that he would often make an extra bento to give you. Doesn't matter the occasion, he is often spontaneous with his actions and just likes to make things for you to enjoy.

Rui doesn't seem to be very strong but I like to think he has some good arm strength from moving around is robots, so I'm sure he could pick some up for a short time. If he hasn't seen you in a few days or so, the moment he sees you he'd pick you up and spin you around, playing around and acting like he seen you in months. He would get very clingy when tired and doesn't want to let go of his s/o when it's time to get up. He's pretty quick to fall asleep but does his best to help lull you to sleep if you can't sleep. I love his voice so much and it's so soft so it would be very comforting to have him hum or sing you to sleep.

Lot of hangouts between him and his s/o being spent in his workroom with him working on whatever and you doing your own thing but knowing you're there with him makes him so happy. I like the idea of him only actually liking to clean and do chores if you're there with him.

He does love to make you trinkets. Maybe he'd get into wire art or something like that and would make you some intricate flowers and even necklaces or other jewelry with stones or gems inside them that hold a special meaning.

I bet the whole group has a discord together and it being fun chaos, full of the most random memes, show ideas, play bickering, and changing each others names to funny or random things,

i think we all saw in the eddie/chrissy scenes that he really does have a soft spot for her — really, probably with anyone who was so clearly going through something — and that's what i wanted to really draw out and explore: what that softness says about his feelings for/relationship with chrissy, and what it says about his character in general. (and just like. particularly for me it was the "i dunno. you're a freak." moment that just screamed oh, that boy has a CRUSH.)

i'm so happy people enjoyed the tarot reading! (more info on that here if anyone's interested!) whenever i write a no-magic/no-supernatural/no-whatever-thing-of-that-nature fic for something that canonically is magical/supernatural/etc., i like to find ways to sneak in references to it where i can. el's canon powers aren't a direct line to tarot but i figured, hey, close enough for me to use it as a romantic plot device.

Personally I think summer in the US feels worse bc ceiling fans and all around ventilation isn't very common there from what I've seen and heard, while winters in India are worse for the most part since electrical heating and room temperature control isn't common here outside of the cities (inbuilt room temp control isn't a concept here at all currently, I've only ever seen it in hotels)

This was probably the best time for you to visit india cause peak summer temperatures haven't even started yet and you were already dying from the heat (me too dw)

And trust when I say you're not the only one struggling to cross the streets not all of us are built for this do or die type of shit 💔💔💔 (though I'll have to build up that confidence since you know. I live here. Don't exactly have a choice 🤡)

Awe thank you! I def love sharing my experiences! I love traveling and will def have to come back. I'm glad you enjoyed reading it cause i tend to ramble on about stuff! Yes! Another tour guide we had in Jaipur used to be a laywer. He was so knowledgeable too, he was with us all day and took us a few different places. It was fun learning about them. One thing I definitely took back from that and was inspired by was seeing people leaving "socially prominent" or high status jobs for something they loved. Seeing as I went as apart of my MBA program it was an unexpected but great reality check that sure we are all in this program to progress our careers but we really need to keep self-fulfillment and happiness in mind. Whats money or status if you are miserable? Like they had us eating out of the palm of their hand with how much passion they had for what they did and it really inspired me to find that in my own life!

Omfg yeah, it really depends on where you are. The sun feels a bit more intense in India because we were closer to the equator than in the US but the heat in India I experienced at 100 degrees F was a walk in the park compared to the time I stupidly went to las vegas in August and it was nearly 120 degrees F. Also where I live summers have been getting hotter and hotter so people arent equipped for heat waves. I've always had AC cause I have really furry dogs who need to stay cool though so thankfully ive been prepared. Also winters can be an issue here too, Texas been getting ice storms and blizzards in the past few years and as a hot area are completely unequipped. Even in places that are used to cold like NYC, when I lived there I moved into a new building paid a stupid high rent to live in a box that had central AC but was poorly insulated so I had to buy like the shiny foil insulating sheets to put over my window in the winter or I felt like the wind was passing right through.

Haha thankfully I was always in busy areas cause me and my friends when we werent with our guide would always just wait until we saw someone else who was clearly Indian cross the street and cross with them lmfao. We probably looked so stupid standing and waiting there lmfao but we never waited more than 5 mins thankfully LOL. Its funny cause looking back I've had friends here in the US scared to "jaywalk" with like one car coming thats practically crawling down the block and in India you have people boldly stopping speeding cars to cross LOL. I just imagine how funny we must look scared to cross with one car wayyyyyyy down the block coming, even I'm laughing at us.

I hope you get some resturant thaali soon! I'm definitely going to be craving it soon too. I know the next time I eat Indian food it ain't going to hit the same AT ALL lmfao.

I had the pleasure of reading your wonderful story yesterday. It was delightful; I had a particularly tough week this week, and so the thought that I would be ending my week by reading your story motivated me to get through it.

I have to say that I'm really fond of your imagery. There were several examples in your prose that I found to be absolutely delightful, and they really made me smile because I just thought that they were so beautifully constructed, and often they were, in a way, obscure but familiar enough to make them absolutely compelling. I really like, for instance, the way you introduce the appearance of knight Suguru in the story. I thought it was such a fantastic way of commencing the narrative and introducing such a key character in the narrative, and it's just set up the whole storyline in such a fantastic way.

I know you mentioned that your story is not bound in a concrete way to a specific historical period, time zone, or geographical region, but honestly, that thought really got me going and got me thinking for a long while. As someone who has studied Anglo-Saxon England before, I just found myself thinking that, in a way, almost that cultural, socio-political specificity, in your case, almost wasn't needed because for me your story, in my head, evoked the whole feeling of storytellers and orators reciting stories in mead halls to a widespread audience and how those stories, over time, evolved and changed and sometimes new specificities were added to them depending on the audience present and how new geographic locations and names were slightly changed but regardless of those changes that were made to suit the audience to whom the story was being told, the key essence of the story remained and, for me, your story has that essence and by retaining that essence almost, in a way, your story is kind of, in a way, true to the time period that I suspect you're sort of circling around which, in my opinion, is kind of around the era of Beowulf.

I'm sorry if this is not really making any sense, and perhaps it is not, and it's been a while since I've really truly delved into the period of Anglo-Saxon England, but I guess that was just a way of me almost saying that I really, really enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the experience of reading the story. I enjoyed the experience of falling in love with the characters. I thought it was great overall. The characters were distinct and had distinct personalities, and I thought the interactions worked extremely well. I just enjoyed the overall plot that you constructed. I don't think the fact that it is not bound and pinpointed to a specific historical period is a weakness, but rather, in a way, it is a strength of this story, in my humble opinion.

All in all, I just think you're a gifted writer. I enjoy your work. I've read your work before I read your stories that have to do with Suguru, and I thought that you had a great handle on his character and personality. I am incredibly fond of his character, and I can tell that you are too, and I'm glad that we are bound by our fondness for him.

I think that it is extremely commendable that you spent and evidently edited this work and just spent so much time with the story to produce such a beautiful result, which I thought was fantastic and grossing and just very compelling, so I wanted to thank you for sharing it with us.

yeahh all their dances are so fun tbh! like they’re not necessarily the most skilled group in any specific area, but they’re always so fun to watch perform, and their discography (especially the past couple years) is super solid. the feels is soo fun fr. have you seen any of the videos of them performing 1, 3, 2? they’re not super high quality bc they’re from concerts, but the concept is so stunning! there’s this part where the backup dancers use lights and it’s so pretty ✨ and also it’s soo nice to see jeonyeong performing again bc she was out for a while due to injuries and illness.

ohh right? there’s just something about lc’s music that’s so pleasant. and yes! sojung is my favorite vocalist of all time. her voice is just soo good, and i love how her tone is p unique within kpop. definitely let me know your favs sometime 💗

mmm yeah, i agree. it’s like the production overwhelms the actual performance. plus a lot of the songs aren’t very singable? whether it’s bc the choreo is just too intense for them to realistically sing live or the song itself is a mostly talk singing. + it seems a lot of ggs don’t really give their artists music that suit their vocal ranges… idk it’s all very strange lol. and right. especially with how young so many of the idols in the groups are. i’ll listen to their music, but i don’t really get that into the groups, bc it just feels kinda weird if they’re like fifteen

stayc is actually one of my favorite groups! i’ve loved everything they’ve released so far, and i love how unique their voices are from each other. their concept rn is “teen fresh,” so it’ll be cool to see how they grow from that as they continue 🌟

i’ve actually never tried dancing. just like.. in my room lol. it’s fun, though. ohh you sing? that’s so cool fr. i can play really basic piano, and i used to play cello 🎻 i want to take lessons again sometime, or maybe switch to viola, bc cellos are just so big =_= i love classical music, but musicians are so pretentious lol. playing in an orchestra or groups is so magical, but i’ve learned that i really prefer keeping things like this to myself ^^ i want to learn to play guitar or bass, too. once i’m finished with school, ig!

About 5x13 and the scene with Eddie, Buck and Chris I have to say three things, apart from Ryan's outstanding acting performance and 1000 other things. 1 Chris' (Eddie's?) phone has the same blue case. 2 Buck's "I'm coming in" has a slight British accent, like Oliver felt that emotional in that scene that his accent came out. 3 Buck's second "okay" before asking Eddie what he was afraid of was soft. What do you think?

And God, YES, they do have the same phone case! Not exactly the same one, Buck’s has a small ridge around where the case is cut out for the phone’s camera (and Chris doesn’t), but it’s clearly the same model. And more than that, it’s the same freaking COLOR. TBH, I tried to think if this might be coincidental. Like, maybe the person in charge of props went to the store and found 2 phone cases of the same model for the price of 1, and as a responsible adult, went for that sale. But even then, most odds are they could get the phone cases at least in different colors, right? So to get Buck and Chris phone cases that match in terms of model AND color, that’s a CHOICE. More than that, Oli actually moves his hand away. It’s not an unusual grip for him, he also uses it in other eps, what stood out to me is that he started with another grip and moved into this one. Maybe so we could get a better look at the phone case? NGL, if it’s ever confirmed he did do this on purpose, to make sure we catch that they’re using the same phone case, like a true BFF father & son duo, I am going to LOSE WHATEVER MARBLES I STILL HAVE LEFT.

Oh, but I have more for you, apparently. I went back to look at older scenes with Buck talking on the phone, and in 403 he had a different one. By 501 he had already switched to his current phone, but it looks like he had a shinier case. Which means Buck switched to the one we see in 513 (and I couldn’t detect in any earlier ep) and got Chris another for them to match! This seems to have been done by the production team especially for this ep. I AM EMOTIONAL, okay? ;_; Here’s the older one being all shiny and without a ridge around the cut out in 505:

Oooh, Nonnie! I have to admit, since English is my 4th language, I don’t think I can speak about accents, but if you’re right and Oli slipped there, that is AMAZING. Def an indication of him getting emotional in the scene! And OMG, yeeees, Buck was SO SOFT in that talk with Eddie, especially after he says that he’s afraid. Buck gets EXACTLY how much this confession is difficult for Eddie to make, and he’s offering comfort even with the tone of his voice. The way that these two love and support each other, I’m just... askdfjhsdkjfsd Greatest love story ever told, even if they never go canon. Them’s just the facts.

this came out of literally no where. I was getting ready for bed and I had "I wanna love somebody" by We Three stuck in my head and then I opened tumbles and this just poured out of me? Yea I literally wrote this in the tumblr post option. no google doc we die like lovers.

I point this out only to say this is defs not edited lmao. I didn't even expect it to be this long it was supposed to a tiny drabble?

There are exactly three things wrong with Percy's current living situation.

1. He has far too little lounge space for his terribly long body. His shins have hit the coffee table six times today in his attempt to maneuver from sitting on the couch to standing.

2. The spare bedroom is not a good enough sound quality for his guitar or his drum practice. The bathroom is much better. He cannot practice in his bathroom forever, or ever.

3. His neighbour is undeniably, completely distractingly hot.

He hasn't allowed himself to rate the problems in order of most troublesome because he's a little ashamed about which one might take first place.

Since moving in one week ago Percy has had many opportunities to arrange and rearrange every aspect of the tiny two bedroom— or one bedroom and a makeshift studio— apartment until he could walk around it blind. He knows not to step on the third floorboard from the left wall on the way to his bedroom because it creaks unpleasantly and he thinks his downstairs neighbours are going to shove a hot poker through the roof just to brandish the annoying foot that keeps making the noise. He knows that the oven setting has to be juggled just right for it to go on. He knows the curtain railings in the living room are far too thin and brittle— he will have to replace them before the month is out. He knows you have to turn the hot tap in the shower three times and the cold tap four to get the exact perfect temperature. What he doesn't know, however, is his neighbour's name, or the colour of their eyes, or anything about them. All he knows is that they're hot.

But today, bruised shin and all, Percy is determined to introduce himself. If for nothing else but to gauge just how upset they might be when he starts up what his mother used to lovingly call "Melodic Madness".

So far it takes the reign as number one reason he's had to leave his previous living spaces. Mr Chiron from Strawberry Valley, who told the landlord the noise was so loud it made his steel kneecaps rust. Creative, but Percy isn't sure it's feasible. Then there was Minerva from Olive Grove who took one look at him and told the landlord he was a drug dealer, or worse, a drug user. He had raised a brow, couldn't stop his lip from tugging up, liking the way the ring that hugged his bottom lip stretched deliciously. He almost killed her on the spot. He would have laid lillies at her funeral and she would have risen again to throw them away. The last place, a Mr Hedge. Percy was glad to leave him behind. There were baseball bags swinging and yelling almost as loud as he played every time they crossed paths. For his own safety Percy didn't even wait for the man to call the landlord before he wad tucking his drumsticks in his pocket and high tailing it to, here.

Here being Sunset Gardens. Here being in this small apartment that fit him almost perfectly. Here being one knock away from meeting his new neighbour.

Percy wonders, as he looks at the soft cream wood of the door, if he should have worn a turtle neck to hide the snake tattoo wrapping around his throat. Or maybe a button down and a tie, to hide the swirls of ink on his arms. The black t-shirt he has on, a normal longer length to his usual cropped look, is clean and soft from use. He decides it'll have to be good enough because he can't wear button downs all the time. How ever will he afford all the ties that come with the obligation?

Percy knocks on the door.

There's silence behind it. The silence of sleepy world, too cozy-can't move. The silence that doesn't wish to be disturbed.

The door opens.

His neighbour's eyes are blue. Bright blue. Startling blue. Blue enough to make his lungs feel a lack of oxygen. He's reaching for the sky and it's getting harder to breather the higher he gets.

"Hello." Says his neighbour.

Percy is flying closer to the sun than Icarus ever will, ever could.

"Can I help you?"

He needs to stop staring. He needs to say something that doesn't make him look like a gaping angel fish. All starry eyes halos and floundering for relief from the air. Do fish know how beautiful the sky is? He imagines if they did they'd all kill themselves trying to get to it. He's doing it right now.

"Hi," He grins. Teeth white, straight, flossed because his mother forced him to learn the habit. "I'm Percy, your new neighbour."

"Jason," The voice is warm, deep. He knows if he lay his head on that spectacular chest he'll feel every vibration when this blue eyed spectacle talks. It'll be like getting into a really nice car and feeling the seats rumble beneath you.

"How are you finding the apartment?"

They're still standing on his door front. Jason won't relent his sanctuary. Percy won't toe over the line, curiouser and curiouser as he is.

"Good. Living room is causing some bodily harm," He waves to his shin, "But otherwise very good. Cozy."

"We share a wall. I don't know if it's your bedroom and mine or..." His neighbour trails off.

"It's my spare bedroom against you." They both glance to his door, light from his lounge flooding the passage in a perfect parallelogram.

"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." He's looking into the sky again. Watches as hair falls over that golden forehead. His hands— tattooed "amare" on his left fingers and "amari" on his right— twitch to push it back, to grasp the white strands, to know what light feels like. He tucks them into the pockets of his sweatpants. He tells them behave. The twitch in their hiding place. He doesn't let them seek.

"What about it?" Jason is frowning, in that worried way that says he's used to bad news and he's tired of it too.

"I uh," Percy's eyes flicker around the world. "I play guitar and drums. I'm using that room as my music room."

"Oh." The relief in Jason is a pointed arrow straight at his heart. Even cupid could never shoot something so potent. "That's okay. I'll use your music as inspiration when I paint."

Percy is Icarus three seconds after he believes he can fly. Percy is Patroclus when he feeds Achilles. Percy is Hercules after completing his first trial. Percy is a hero and a warrior and the luckiest person alive. Percy is alive.

"I hope you're good." Jason shrugs as if he hadn't tattooed a permanent place into the underside of Percy's ribcage.

"I hope so too." He manages to say back.

"I'll show you what I can create from you the first time and you can judge." Those blue eyes are so wide with innocence. Not the innocence of life but of words. His neighbour has no idea what he's doing to him. Has no idea that he is about to go home and make song lyrics out of all these declarations.

"I look forward to it." He smiles wide. It's ocean deep with happiness.

There are exactly three things perfect about Percy's current living situation:

1. The kitchen has a gas stove enough counter space for him to make bread and his mother's gumbo

2. His bedroom is big enough for him to fit a king sized bed easily. He is a sprawler when he sleeps and he cannot be happier to sprawl across never ending expanse.

3. His hot neighbour is perfect.

i'm trying something new with my request- editing the sizing and colors makes it personal don't you think? i also like writing my requests as.. some sort of letter- it makes it seem more heartfelt and less of a request and more, me getting to know you. it feels better this way, doesn't it?

speaking of creepypasta, the way you write them is so amazing- i love it. you make them seem human–even though they aren't– and just bring out their personality.

my favorites are toby and ej- i used to love jeff, as did everyone since he was practically everyone's introduction. though, i prefer the brunettes-

editing the sizing and colors always looks so cool, it gives it that little bit of personal pizzazz! (i don’t know how to do it though lmao)

i’m actually feeling a lot better today, it’s been my best day yet after the surgery! i don’t look as swollen (still swollen though, just not as much) and i can actually open my mouth up without it hurting really bad! 

i did have my ice cream, finished the last of it today, and it was a delicious plain vanilla lactose-free ice cream! my favorite is actually chocolate chip cookie dough, but obviously that’s not an option for me right now. but plain vanilla is still good! 

and omg it means so much to me that you like my writing! (toby is def one of my favorites, and while i wouldn’t say that ej is one of my favorite characters from an outside perspective, he is def one of my favorites to write about from a writer’s perspective!) and it means so much that you like the way i portray the characters. this is the way they’ve always been to me, ever since i first got into the fandom about six years ago! and i’m really lucky to be able to share them in this safe place, the way that i see and love them, and to have 200 other people see and love them too <3 <3 <3

Hello! Reader from FF here to say I'm a long time reader and love your work. You're supremely talented and I love to read any original fiction if you've written any/plan to write any. Just curious as well, are there any other GOT fanfics you would like to recommend?

Thank you for the kind words. I’m pleased that you’ve enjoyed what I’ve been writing. 

I actually am writing some original fiction, but I doubt it’ll ever see the light of day. If I had to describe it, I would say its: modern day novella satire with slice of life storytelling. So basically if you’re one of the few people who enjoy how I write dialogue/thoughts/interactions then you might possibly like this.

There was an earlier ask was for some of fanfic recommendations, but I can list a few more. There’s a lot of talented authors and some wonderful stories that I’m enjoying. It makes me so thankful that these writers are sharing their time and energy and talent with us for free. 

I’ll start by saying you can always check my favorites/bookmarks too. As well as tell ya to always check other stories/writers to see what they’ve favored/bookmarked. I think its the best way to find stories b/c it has certainly worked for me. 

These are ones that I’ve read and enjoyed just as much as the ones I’ve already listed. Some are older ones that I read and finished in the past and others are ones that I still need to catch up on. (That’s a theme with my reading right now-being way behind)

“the false dragon and the young wolf” by lilac-winters (octothropes)

Pairing: Robb Stark/Rhaenys Targaryen

Story’s Summary: After surviving the Sack of King's Landing, Rhaenys Targaryen lives out the rest of her childhood in Dorne with her uncles and cousins. That is until Robert Baratheon decides that she's a danger to the crown and has to be bound to it in order to prevent another rebellion. The False Dragon is sent North to marry the heir of Winterfell and Westeros will never be the same.

My take: I’m a few chapters behind, but there’s a lot to like in this story. I’ve been really enjoying it.

“From the North Wind, Her Fire Follows” by littoralbones

Pairing: Robb Stark/Rhaenys Targaryen

Story’s Summary: Rhaenys Targaryen survives her family's slaughter, but at a cost. King Robert Baratheon fears for a day when the last Targaryens return to restore themselves on the Iron Throne. He fears Rhaenys the most. Hoping to spare another child from death, the Hand of the King plans, the Prince of Dorne approves, and the Lord of Winterfell agrees. At ten years old, Rhaenys Targaryen is sent away from her home in Sunspear to the unforgiving lands of the North, all in the hope that the legendary fire of her bloodline could be smothered before it even sparks. Nothing is ever that simple.

My take: This was the first Robb/Rhaenys story I read and I’m glad I took a chance b/c this story is fantastic. I’m up to date with it, but I def want to go back to do a reread.

Story’s Summary: Over a hundred years after Cregan Stark's Pact of Ice and Fire, a Targaryen princess is married to a Stark lord in order to avert a war. Another war is won instead.

My take: Another wonderful take on the Robb Stark and Rhaenys Targaryen pairing. 

Status: Complete. It’s part one of a series, part two is also complete.

“Maester Wolf” by ctc1000

Story’s Summary:  What if Jon Snow wasn't the stupidest man in Westeros? A new beginning where Jon is still Lyanna's son, but Ned Stark hides him in a different way, which has a major impact on the Wars to come. A more cunning Snow changes the outcomes for his brothers and sisters.

My take: It’s a unique idea with Jon Snow going to the Citadel. I’m not caught up with the story, but I’ve been enjoying it.

“The Reach of Wolves” by Youmightdietrying

Pairing: Robb Stark/Margaery Tyrell

Story’s Summary: The call of the coming Winter and the preservation of the North cause Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell to refuse his King's request to become Hand of the King. The decision has far reaching consequences, especially for Robb Stark, who finds himself riding south on the Kingsroad with Winterfell disappearing behind him in the distance.

My take: It’s a fun story that starts off with some new ideas and the author adds others as the story goes. It’s been fun to read, but I’m not caught up yet.

“King’s Blood Fool’s Blood” by Will O’the Wisp

Pairings: Robb Stark/Margaery Tyrell, Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen

Story’s Summary:  Traumatised and demoralised after surviving the Red Wedding, Robb is a virtual prisoner at Riverrun and hope is fading fast. Widowed on her wedding day, Margaery is disillusioned and drifting until she joins her brothers on a diplomatic mission to the Riverlands. Neither realise they are each other's last chance. 

My take: I’m a fan of Robb Stark surviving the Red Wedding, and this is one of my favorites. I’ve caught up and am patiently waiting for the next update.

“Black Wolf Reborn” by DannyBlack70

Pairings include: Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark, OC/Mira Forrester, Robb Stark/Wylla Manderly, Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen, Domeric/Sansa

Story’s Summary: When Torrhen Stark sacrificed himself for the Three Eyed Raven he expected to die. The Old Gods however had a different plan for him and sent his mind back in time to his 11-year-old body. Can Torrhen change the future and save House Stark armed only with the knowledge of what is coming? And what else do the Old Gods have planned?

My take: I’m not a fan of Peggy Sue fics, but I’ve been enjoying this one. It’s a ‘reboot’ to another story, but I actually like reading it without having read what its based on. It makes for a fun reading experience. This is another good story that I’m sadly not caught up on.

Story’s Summary: Unable to defeat Robb Stark on the battlefield, Tywin Lannister decides to play dirty and organizes the Young Wolf's assassination, at his own uncle's wedding. But there's something Tywin doesn't know: that moniker - the Young Wolf - might be more fitting than anyone thought.

My take: Another Robb Stark survives the Red Wedding AU, but in this one he becomes werewolfish. I’m caught up and waiting for an update.

Eventual Pairings: Robb Stark/Margaery Tyrell, Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen

Story’s Summary: Ned Stark, affronted by his best friend's tolerance of the Targaryen children's killings, left the capital and journeyed North to be with his pregnant wife. Moons after having no knowledge of his sister's whereabouts, he was suddenly faced with the arrival of his sister's lifeless body at Winterfell. The night after, unknown guests come to him, with a letter sealed with House Stark's sigil and a dried out petal of a winter rose. Or an AU where Robb is born late after the Rebellion, and Jon became his twin.

My take: Fun story, really enjoy the Robb and Jon dynamic as well as the Jon and Cat one. There’s other surprises and treats throughout the story. I’m caught up and waiting for an update.
