Hi guys~! ⛅👋

Long time no see! Much longer than I ever intended, in fact. Truth be told, I wanted to make a public post sooner, but I've had a lot to catch up on in terms of notifications and messages since logging back in a few days ago. I've also made some changes that I will address shortly, but first of all I wanted to thank those of you who have reached out with so much care and understanding during my absence. Adjusting has been a slow and fragile process for me -still is-, and I sadly haven't responded directly to everyone yet because of it, but I wanted to say how much I appreciate your patience and support nonetheless. 🥹 🙏

Long story short, I was gone for five months due to a huge burnout, then progressively found my spark again somewhere along the way and have since mostly recovered. It was my wonderful friend @drones-of-innocence who reached out to me outside of Tumblr, and her sense of initiative is largely the reason why I managed to make this post in a somewhat reasonable delay. 😅💖 With that said however, I must also mention that I've deleted a lot of stuff from my page and have removed most of my work from the public eye as well. This may seem quite drastic and frankly a little unsettling, but I assure you that it was a thoroughly considered and reasoned decision! The thing is that I was still getting lots of notes on these drawings everyday and… To put it simply, I didn't want that anymore. 🙇‍♀️ Experiencing popularity was very detrimental to me in the long run and I needed to put an end to it for the sake of my own wellbeing; at least for now.

Which brings me to my next point.

After mulling it over for a while, I've decided that I would not be returning as an active creator in the Mario community this time around. 👐 Making fanart for this franchise (with such a high and continuously maintained degree of involvement) had a lot to do with my health's decline and I've come to realize that I wanted to direct my focus elsewhere going forward. For that reason, there are things which I know will never be repeated again in the future, both in regards to my art and online presence in general, but that's alright. Things change, as they do and should. I'm looking forward to reuniting with folks and would be very happy to stay in touch with those of you who wish to message me privately. Like my lovely pal @istadris said, what matters most about any fandom are the friends you make in it. ☺️

@heiressofdoodles Thanks, I appreciate that! ✨ I'm honestly doing much better than I was earlier this Spring. Back then, I was running on empty and on the verge of crashing without even knowing it. Being in constant physical pain was one thing, but feeling mentally and emotionally drained on a daily basis was another entirely, and something had to be done. It took me a moment to really figure out what was wrong, but thankfully I realized very quickly what was causing it and applied the breaks with all my might. One of my main priorities now is to be more alert and respect my own boundaries to make sure that this never happens again. 🥲

You sighed at you dimmed the lights. He had to be home soon. You just kept reminding yourself that as you tucked yourself in your warm sheets. You were used to Croc being out late, but tucking yourself into bed was always pretty hard.

Passing out though was a whole other ordeal. And an actual easy one. You worked hard, almost just as hard as your husband, so getting to sleep was nothing and you would always pass out, lights on or off.

Crocodile opened the front door slowly, sighing as he knew you were probably out by now. He wasn't keeping track of time and the moment he looked at the clock, he wanted to slap himself in the face.

He packed up as quickly as he could and came home to darkness. Luckily, he already ate, so he didn't have to worry about that, but damn would it be nice to get a kiss or a hug or anything after such a long day.

He slipped off his shoes and hung up his coat before going upstairs. A sliver of hope came to him when he saw the light on in your bedroom, but that always happened. So when he saw the dim light shining on your sleeping figure, a little bit of disappointment swept over him.

He tried tip toeing around, but failed miserably when he hit his foot on the side of the nightstand, which made an empty glass fall (surprisingly not shattering in the process) and then he hit his head on a bookshelf nearby somehow, which made him again hit the same foot from earlier onto the bed frame.

Crocodile felt like such an idiot and he looked at you with wide eyes.

Somehow you were still asleep.

Until you let out a mumble. "You're such an idiot, Croc."

He turned off the lamp and crawled into bed. "You don't have to tell me twice." he whispered.

But as he wrapped his arms around you, he noticed that you were still fast asleep.

You two had planned so much ahead in your life that, now that he's not here, it just didn't feel right ro do any of that without him

But a solution to your problem came

A little birdy named Sapnap, now one of your closest friends, had given you a heads up about a certain new ghost roaming the halls of Hogwarts

And that ghost was none other then your former lover, Dream

See, people who are born with magical abilities have a choice to leave a part of themselves behind when they die and become a ghosts

Dream, knowing he had some unfinished business with you, had chosen to become one, even if it wasn't the smartest idea

Upon hearing the news, you quickly took a trip to your old school and went in search of the ghost

Kind of like a Cat Cafe but with magical creatures

With the help of Karl, and his partner, you were able to choose the safest creatures to have in your cafe

And it was a hit before it even opened

The idea was so unique and new that you became the talk of all Diagon Alley in a matter of days

You two couldn't be happier with how far you've come!

But, what you didn't know, is that George had a project of it's own

Moving on from what had happened in the war was easy, to say the least

After losing your best friend, Dream, it was normal for you two to not be in a very good mood for a while

But the positive was that you had eachother

After meeting the ghost of Dream, and getting the "closure" you two needed, you both went on to become aurors

All of that training with Dream, the DA meetings and a few advice from the Order had payed off

You became one of the most popular couple of auror in all of England!

Obviously the mood of the Weasley shop was a bit in the dumps for a while

George grieving the loss of his twin

And Skeppy grieving his two best friends

So with the help of one another, and other Weasley members, they got themselves back to work to keep the shop going

You travelled the world togheter, in search of new creatures and videotaped every progress

So, not only did you make books about your new discoveries, you also made a whole channel about it on a magical version of Youtube

During a press conference, for the anniversary of the debut of your book, Karl had asked you to be his partner literally on a live

Obviously you said yes

You went back to school, to actually finish your 7th year, while Wilbur went to get some help

See, after the war he had severe PTSD from all the events + the now faded mark on his forearm didn't help the flashbacks

He would come visit you at Hogsmeade every time you had to go there and would take you out on little dates

In a way he was making up for lost time

You two weren't dating yet, Wilbur had to earn your trust again after all he had done, but the feelings were definitely mutual

After graduating Wilbur became a pretty well known musician w/ his band, Lovejoy

And you went on to become a teacher at Hogwarts

The students adored you, mostly because of your friendly nature, but also because you were by then dating the oh so famous Wilbur from Lovejoy

You would also get teased whenever you were caught at Hogsmeade with your boyfriend

Technoblade officially became the flying class professor at Hogwarts, after Phil retired

You on the other hand went to study more about Herbology, just so you could start teaching there too

It took you a while, but after getting there you and Techno got close again

All those emotions from years ago all came back

So, not even a few months after becoming a professor, rumors of you two dating started spreading

Wether they were true or not it's still a mystery, but anyone could see that there was definetly something going on between you two

McGonagall found this whole situation hilarious, because this is exactly how Phil and Tristin first started dating

History just kept on repeating and it's actually quite adorable

Niki promised you and herself to be storng and move on

She worked hard to become a psychiatrist for wizards, in hopes of helping them through their hardest times

Especially those who went through the war and still had flashbacks from it, like Wilbur who was one of her closest friend and patient

She knows that it's not you, but seeing it there smiling and conversing with her always reminds her of why she's become who she is today

You on the other hand found yourself a job at the Ministry as a curse breaker

Everybody was shocked by your spellcasting and fast thinking, so you were hired right away

Yours and Punz's relationship didn't move on from friends for a long time, both too busy in your own careers to even think about dating

But at the 10th anniversary of the war against Voldemort, you both found eachother at Hogwarts

And things seemed to naturally go on from there, like it was always meant to happen
