at first idia laughed at your silly avatar and just thought you were some newbie or something to the game... when you requested to fight him, he was like "hehehe this person is an idiot...easy win" until you absolutely demolished him with some of the best items idia had been trying to get since forever!! he's spent hours grinding trying to get. since then, he kinda took it as his own personal mission to surpass you but it just turned into him enjoying playing with you and it turns into some playful rivalry.

he finds himself waiting for you to be online sometimes... since he's probably a lot more online than you. he'll groan when it takes you a while and complain to ortho about it. this is usually the time you are online!! idia sometimes spams your dms. they're pretty stupid too since he's just trying to be annoying, he thinks it's so funny. though, what is funny is if you knew how different his typing quirks and online personality is different in comparison to his actual real-life self. hes so much more talkative chatting online.

idia loves just going on quests with you in the game and fighting monsters and bosses together. he thinks you two are such a powerful duo together. you two stay up until laaate hours of the night playing together.

he still makes an effort to one up you, like whenever there's special events in the game and golden opportunities for him to get rare and special items, he's all over it. he gets all smug and proud of himself only to be once again for you to one up him.

he finds himself quite impressed with how far you are in this game, lilia enjoys that he gets an opportunity to play with someone like you. and soon enough you two are always playing together. he always playfully tells you that you take up so much of his time! as he finds himself spending more and more time on that game to play with not only Gloomurai but you as well.

lilia totally customizes his character so it matches yours, he thinks it's cute. but that also meant he just had to play some more to actually get some those said items... because you've got the rare, good stuff in this game. but that's fine he made you come along and help him get those items anyway. you two roam around the game fighting enemies and completing quests in your silly matching outfits.

has a habit of telling silver about this friend of his he found through the game, he seems so happy talking about you two and your little game endeavors.

he always praises you whenever you get yet another powerful item, he once again just thinks it's highly impressive with how far you are! he doesn't exactly take that game overly serious he's just content with enjoying playing it with others. besides he already is pretty good in the game. it confuses both you and idia sometimes because he just gets so lucky without even trying half the time.

Hello, so i apparently have a brain rot about twst characters being concerned about their siblings mental health due to their taste in men

The younger sibling of Vil while having both the looks and skills of their brother and father, also has a small amount of stage fright and loves video games, so they end up becoming a v-tuber and develop a small crush on an internet friend and moderator who irl is Idia Shroud, maybe after revealing that they got accept to nrc the two decide to meet up irl and while Idia is lagging due to the error messages in his brain, little schoenheit's small crush develops into a full infatuation, Vil is so so concerned

I love this idea. While normally I write requests in bullet point format, I hope you don't mind that I wrote this one differently. I'm sorry if you don't like it as much because of this, I just felt like writing like this does requests like this better than my usual bullet point style

Request rules and Masterlist

As a part of the Schoenheit family, it was only natural that you had developed the acting and modeling skills as well as the good looks. It's just something that had been engrained into your lifestyle at a young age. Your father had you and Vil acting together from a young age, and Vil would always help you with everything.

The main thing he always had to help you with was your stage fright. While he and your father never had any problem being on stage, you hated it. Having everyone's eyes on you and the pressure not to mess up was all too much for you.

Perhaps that was why you liked video games so much. Online, no one knew who you really were, and that gave you a sense of freedom. No one could actually see you, and it gave you a sense of freedom. They didn't stare at you, and you didn't have to see them staring at you. There was a screen between you and them at all times.

But that desire to perform and entertain was still strong within you. Maybe it was just part of being a Schoenheit. Thankfully, the internet is a wonderful place full of opportunities, and you were able to find a way to play the video games you loved so much while performing for others.

Being a v-tuber was so much more fun than you had imagined. It's the perfect way to entertain and build an audience while playing video games too. The perfect job for you.

You were even able to connect with others and make new friends too. One of these friends was a moderator by the screenname Gloomurai. You had fun talking to him both in and out of streaming for others.

He understood you so well! The two of you were able to bond about a lot of things, mainly your love for video games and how scary it was to be in front of other people. And eventually, you even found out that he's a student at Night Raven College, the school you're going to be attending.

After a little bit of convincing and deliberating, the two of you decided to meet. Not anywhere out in the public eye with lots of people of course. So the two of you picked an isolated corner of the school, and waited until evening to go meet up.

To say you were nervous was an understatement. Gloomurai was a close friend and even a small crush of yours. He was just so understanding and cool. Now you were going to meet him in person. So many things could go wrong.

But you were the one to get there first, and you waited patiently for Gloomurai to show up. As the minutes passed, your nerves only grew.

Until finally, a very pale figure rounded the corner. He was tall, but hunched over like he'd been sitting and playing video games for a long time before this. Perhaps the most noticeable thing about his appearance was the long blue flames of hair and the bright yellow eyes that only met yours for a second before quickly flickering away.

Idia Shroud; the most reclusive guy in school. He rarely ever left his room and was known for being an introvert and amazing with technology. The housewarden of Ignihyde...he was Gloomurai?????

He's amazing! Truly amazing. Of all the people he could've been, you're glad it was Idia.

Idia on the other hand was freaking out. His favorite streamer and crush...was Vil Schoenheit's little sibling??? He's broken. His brain cannot compute. Error error.

"You're Gloomurai, right?"

It was...pretty awkward for the first few minutes of talking. Neither of you quite knew what to say at first, but eventually conversation would flow smoothly just like when you guys normally chat. It felt really nice to be able to talk to him in person actually, and you finally got to put a face to the moderator you developed a crush on.

So when you saw Vil again, you couldn't help but gush about your crush.

"He's so much better than I thought! I mean we talked for a while and got along very well. He's super cute too!"

"Are you sure you're talking about Idia Shroud? Cute definitely aren't the words I would use to describe him."

my question is: how many times do lilia and idia interact in person? and how many times do we see them interact online? i know they interact a little but IRL during the ghost bride event, and then later they talk online during Lilia's event vignette... but i could swear they talk more often than that

Idia and Lilia do not interact much in person from what we have seen, but there are a few times!

Idia mentions getting a palm rest from Lilia for his birthday ("It's the same one that I recommended to Muscle Red-shi. What a coincidence that Lilia-shi would get one for me") and they overlap at the beginning of Book 5 where Lilia explains to a surprised Idia that he enjoys TV dramas and video games, but Idia is communicating via tablet so that may not count.

They also meet briefly in Silver's ceremonial robes vignette, right after Silver has been explaining how amazing his father is. Idia reflects, "he sounds like the kinda guy I'd actually like to meet someday."

Like most of the cast, Lilia might not actually like Idia that much. He has a voice line of, "Infiltrating enemy lines on a rescue mission sounds delightful! It's just like an RPG. Pity my motivation's gone because we're rescuing Idia."

He also encourages Idia to kiss Eliza during Phantom Bride (which would have killed Idia), and banters with Jade about whether or not Idia will still be able to serve as Ignihyde Housewarden after he's dead.

They overlap briefly in a Glorious Masquerade vignette where Idia talks about upgrading Ignihyde's security system after Silver and Sebek are able to successfully brute force their way in and drag him to Diasomnia to rehearse for the performance at Noble Bell College.

Lilia explains, "When someone tightens their defenses, we have but to increase our offensive force. Ignihyde's vaunted ironclad security system makes a fine test for Diasomnia."

They get along much better online, with Idia calling Lilia (as Muscle Red) his "one and only trusted companion."

They also overlap in Idia's dorm uniform vignette, where Muscle Red offers to visit Idia in person whenever he would like to meet. Idia says, "I'd do anything for him!" and talks about how they may be able to attend a live concert by his favorite idol group together one day.

Idia refers to himself and Muscle Red as war buddies and will even refuse to spend time with Ortho in favor of Muscle Red.

Idia says, "'Grateful' doesn't begin to describe how much I appreciate him."

They also overlap digitally in Book 6 where Idia says, "This right here is what friendship's all about."

Both Idia and Lilia talk about receiving birthday messages from one another for their birthdays. Lilia says, "What a faithful friend!"

As you say they also overlap digitally in Lilia's Phantom Bride vignette, where Lilia is looking for another person in their game to perform a "Promise ceremony" with.

It seems that had wanted Idia (as Gloomurai) to do the ceremony with him but, "(Gloomurai) apparently harbors a rather negative view of it..."

Idia and Lilia both seem very fond of each other online, and it is exciting to look forward to when (or if?) the two finally realize who they are to each other! :>

He likes baking, but surprisingly his character bio says he likes to "brush his teeth" as a hobby? Let's just say that s/o was interested in baking haha

He would be glad to teach you! He will tell you that oyster sauce is the secret ingredient when teaching you how to make a tart base. Of course, you have to catch this as him lightly teasing you, he'll wink at you and say "Ah you caught me, good eye, chef."

The two of you end up making a tart together, sharing it once it's finished. It becomes sort of a tradition to make something new every once in a while together after that.

I feel like though he's a really careful guy, he might have too much fun talking with you or teasing you that he forgets about the baked goods in the oven and it almost causes the school to burn down haha.

Riddle

Riddle likes to tend to hedgehogs! Who wouldn't want to do that honestly haha. Anyways, s/o heard of Heartslabyul having hedgehogs, and, because they weren't in the same house, decided to come by when Riddle was tending to them

If they show interest in learning how to tend to them, Riddle would be more than happy to teach them the proper things to do. He might be a bit strict, but you can see how much he cares for the little animals with how careful he is with them.

He thinks you look super cute trying your best to get them comfortable in your hands and eventually near your lap. You'll catch him smiling softly at you.

He might invite you over more whenever he's tending to them. It's a way for him to de-stress with you and catch up with you on anything. You get to see a soft side of the strict dorm leader so cherish the moments!

Rook

Rook likes to watch plays, and if you happen to be a theater person too, he would offer you to come with him to a play instead of the other way around. He has two tickets before you even say yes btw.

You guys probably go in-depth about the director's choices on each actor/actresses' positions onstage and some of the stage-lighting directions too. The two of you stay up all night talking about these kinds of things too.

I can imagine the two of you reciting lines when passing by each other in the hallways too haha. It's sort of like inside jokes for the two of you.

He'll try to go to a theater performance with you whenever he can. The two of you might be in the regular seating area or in a private box, who knows! Either way, you guys have a great time, sitting next to each other and watching the story unfold onstage.

Idia

Unsurprisingly, Idia's hobby is pc gaming, and if you happen to show even the slightest interest in joining him, he'll be over the moon about it. Watch him gush about which games you guys can play together haha.

You both play online together a lot. I'm sure if you stream or have any online friends/fans, people speculate if the two of players "Gloomurai" and "(insert username here)" are dating haha.

You guys are probably a power couple when in the same team, no matter what kind of a game it is (be it a first-person shooter type or a mmorpg). But sometimes, you guys like to watch each other play individually.

I'm sure Idia loves gaming with you so much and being able to geek out a bit. But because of this, the two of you barely get any sleep. Crewel might point this out if you guys show up to class with heavy dark circles for a month haha.

Malleus

Malleus likes exploring ruins, which is an interesting hobby and one where the two of you guys can spend a lot of time together. He's super happy when you tell him you want to accompany him on a trip one day.

He'll lead the way on most occasions, mainly because he chooses which area to explore but also because he wants to protect you if anything jumps out and potentially harms you.

Expect a lot of calm vibes while you guys are together. I can see the two of you sitting on top of a high broken pillar, watching the sunset. You're resting your head on his shoulder and he has an arm around you. It's really wholesome!

Overall, he's super happy he doesn't have to be alone when doing his hobby anymore! He'll offer you to accompany him every single time from then on.

Knows the mechanics for every single fight in game and is scarily efficient at his rotation. Also extremely inflexible and refuses to adjust for a n y o n e, but blames the wipe on everyone else because he knew the mechanics so why don't you? Pretty sure he broke a keyboard while trying to clear the last raid tier.

Rex plays this game for triple triad like a true king and is only kept on the static for his consistent dps. During these sessions, Lilia will talk about how certain scenes in the anime make him feel old or how it relates to his youth. Or maybe he’ll wait until you’re fully engrossed in the series before he sneaks up behind you and startles you when you least expect it. Regardless, you’ll always have fun with Lilia. 

Gyaru fashion? What is that? After you inform Lilia of what gyaru is, Lilia is keen on checking out the clothing and trends of that trend. He loves broadening his horizons and collecting bits and pieces here and there connecting to different fads. If he’s really into it, you find that he’s dying his hair into various shades of hot pink and beach blonde. Plus, it would also be great to take you out shopping so the both of you can get clothes to fashion yourselves based on this unique aesthetic.

Your taste in music is certainly unique! He’ll listen to some of your favorite songs and who knows? Maybe he’ll make covers based off them and entertain you the next time you visit Diasomnia.

BUT.

what’s much more interesting to me is that lilia got part of his “human lives are as fragile as thread” speech. from. idia!!

but here’s the thing: lilia expands upon it.

Interweaving and layering those threads creates the strong, resilient tapestry of their history. Such is the creature called man — neighbor to we creatures of the night.”

lilia’s been around far longer than idia. as a soldier — possibly a medieval soldier, at that? — he’s probably seen some of the worst things the world can offer. but his outlook on humanity isn’t nearly as negative as idia’s. (and yes, part of that is probably that idia’s pre-book 6 outlook is just. so so colored by resignation toward ortho and his curse and his future and STYX. but like. there’s a fundamental difference about how they see the world but it’s not so impactful that they can’t be friends!! bc idia respects muscle red!!) possibly it’s because lilia’s been through awful shit that he believes in humanity’s resilience…?

(disclaimer: i can’t actually remember how much of lilia’s backstory we actually know vs. what’s extrapolation or just plain fanon, but i can’t imagine that a man who raised his human kid like a fae soldier for the first however-many years is perfectly well-adjusted and non-traumatized, no matter how he acts in canon.)

"How do I add you as a friend again?" Jade adjusts the microphone close to his mouth. Perhaps it looked odd for a girl to possess a male voice. The ability to customise your own avatar in an — what had Idia called the game? An MMO — ah, yes had been something he greatly enjoyed. It was refreshing to be able to play as someone entirely different, though it seems his deep, matured voice has apparently put off some of the other male players who initially wanted to befriend him. "I'm afraid I'm not too good at controls, even after two months ... The mechanics to fire shots from my weapon was simple enough, but it seems the functions aimed to provide players a sense of qualify if life still escapes me..."

Jade is talking on world chat instead of using the whisper function, unaware that he was broadcasting his statement to every single player online.

Idia is barely holding himself back from LOL-ing in his chair so hard he falls off. The people AFK-ing and mingling in the hub zone would surely have gotten a fright with Jade's sultry, mic-distorted voice echoing throughout the vicinity. With a quick clacking of his keyboard he sends a whisper to Jade through chat, which should pop up on his screen with a ping. He also makes sure to send him a friend request and a party invite so that it's easier to communicate and keep track of where Jade’s character is in-game.

He’d been surprised – no, flabbergasted – to find out that Jade actually enjoyed playing this game, and an MMO no less. Idia has somewhat of an online reputation, and there’s always people crowding around him when he logs on, but he had never dared to get his hopes up about ever having anyone IRL to play video games with. Now that Jade had actually hopped on and actively seemed to want to play though, Idia couldn’t contain his excitement. He’s put in thousands of hours over the years, and there was nothing he would love more than to show a newbie all the amazing facets of this game.

As soon as Jade joins his party, he unmutes his own mic. “Whee hee hee, welcome to Idia’s DPS Crash Course Training Programme. Especially since you’re playing a class with the highest skill ceiling. I assume all you want to do is shoot the boss and see big numbers, but you can’t do that if you don’t know the ins and outs of the game mechanics besides your own kit.”

He’s impressed, honestly. Not a lot of people would play this class purely because of its high learning curve, and for Jade to have an accuracy rate as high as he does (seriously, if he didn’t know better he’d think he was aimbotting) is astounding. If Jade learned mechanics and how to optimise properly in fights, Idia wouldn’t be surprised if he shot up the ranks straight to top 100.
