There are a lot of people in the radqueer community who are pro-contact, actually.

Sure, maybe there aren't as many who will call themselves pro-contact outright, but there are other ways people state their opinions on contact. Being "contact-neutral", making up contact stances, and being anything other than anti contact is a redflag. There are also handfuls of people in the radqueer tags who just. Call the age of consent oppressive and want that abolished for the sake of "youth liberation" and being anti-ageist.

The bar for "a lot" in terms of heinous abuse advocates is low, by the way.

There’s no need to explain yourself, being a radqueer is pretty self explanatory enough. You lot think that children and animals can consent and therefore you should be allowed to have a sexual relationship with them even though COUNTLESS studies have proven that doing so has many negative effects on the child/animal yet you ignore that and say that the people who are against you as “ageist” and “specieiest”. 

You think that you can just “become” disabled and romanise very serious disabilities/illnesses like or “transition” to have trauma, ignoring the fact that many people who went through trauma such as SA, RAMCOA and human trafficking are barely able to function in society. Just overall romanticising human suffering because you think it‘s “fun” to have BPD, which can LITERALLY MAKE YOU OFF YOURSELF and push everyone you love away.

A 16 year old girl is actively posting on the oddballs instance that she is being groomed and sexually abused by an adult. She also posts on the site about how her father nearly raped her, and adults on the site encourage her and tell her that that would be okay.

Law enforcement is aware of this activity on the website and yet chooses to not do anything about this.

Not all of us hate being a minority. I personally love my actual ADHD, my actual GAD, my actual OCD, my actual PTSD, my actual Dyscalculia. and actual queerness! What we hate is when you try and become us and take our resources. Like Capitalism is already a struggle for us, don’t make it worse by taking things. Our struggle is real, and a constant battle. Just because we had to battle for the spot we have today doesn’t mean we hate what we battled for. And as much as you claim to understand us, or relate to us, you’ll never know how it feels to walk outside and wait for police to brutalize you. Or waiting for laws that say “Oh well, you’re ugly to us now! Soo… never go outside again!” or for people to hurt you for being actually a minority. We aren't ranking slurs when we say that because you can't rank a slur that isn't a slur. The fact that cracker refers to "[the] practice of 'cracking the whip' to drive and punish slaves" during the slave trade, makes it even more horrifying that you want to make it a slur of some kind. You want to hide the history white people directly contributed to and the horrors and atrocities we committed. You get angry when the history is brought up because it makes you feel guilty as a white person when really, it should make you feel all the more determined to make things better for POC people, and trust me, preaching that white people are just as oppressed as POC people is not the way to do it. Slurs come about because they are used to degrade and discriminate against an oppressed group of people. Often used to erase their identity and/or to make fun of their oppression, just because something offends you doesn't make it a slur; you just want to be seen as oppressed, so your racism is ignored. Well I hate to break it to you, but you can still be racist even if you are an oppressed minority.

You do not have to be a radqueer to be an accepting person. You can have boundaries, you do not have to be all inclusive, and it's okay to say that some identities are not okay.

Long long ass post so (i’m a Proshipper AND ANTI-radqueer. rant ahead)

As a proshipper who has been harmed by "pro-c radqueers" (and questioned joining the community for a while for reasons i will also discuss later on) It is extremely difficult for me to interact with fellow Anti-rqs (blogs or just people) because of the idea that all proshippers are also rq.

I am not here to start discourse, Just to spread the word around that while we may disagree on shipping and fiction, please know that many proshippers do not want any of the true harm that rqs push onto others!! The proship community has been here far far longer than them, we have unfortunately had to deal with becoming their scapegoat over time and i would love for others to recognize that anti-rq proshippers exist, But interacting with the community makes it feel as though one can "only be on [the actual irl danger] side if you're into [fictional characters doing something i do not like] thing" , it makes it very easy for some proshippers to fall into the trap, !!!!Radqueers depend on others’ exclusionism to take advantage and bring others into their community!!!!!

Yes, many Rqs are proshippers, but proshippers are not all inherently rq!!! Kind of like a squares and rectangles situation.
