Nancy and Mike (and Robin) - Character Relationship Analysis/Exploration
Nancy and Mike’s relationship has always been really interesting to me. We don’t see Nancy pull away from Mike but we see Mike reacting to Nancy’s absence in his life. He tells their parents about Steve, and takes Nancy’s things, and tries to hold onto their relationship in the only way he knows how to. Because Nancy acknowledges him when he’s annoying her and when she’s angry at him. Or when he’s in danger. That’s it.
Nancy doesn’t play D&D with him anymore. She doesn’t talk to him anymore. Even in season four, the most we see of their relationship is Nancy driving Mike to school. And even though Nancy’s been pushing Mike away, he still goes to her when Eddie tells him and Dustin to find a replacement for Lucas. Mike keeps trying to come into her life, and Nancy keeps pushing him out.
Nancy is constantly trying to find a place in the world. She’s with Steve in season one because she thinks that’s what she’s supposed to do. And she gets good grades and studies and goes to party’s in season two. Even to the detriment of her relationships. However, she doesn’t take any blame for her actions, because of the societal pressure for her and everyone else to conform. Jonathan confronts her about it when they’re trying to find Will and Barb and she’s immediately defensive. She gets back together with Steve and blames Jonathan for not making a move sooner. Barb tells Nancy that she’s making a mistake with Steve, and Nancy tells her to go home.
But Barb dies.
Nancy blames herself for that. She blames herself for a lot of things. But she doesn’t want to understand why she blames herself for these things. Jonathan’s already told her that living married to Steve and conforming to societal expectations is bullshit. And she knows it is. But admitting that she’s hurt people by conforming, and trying to get them to conform, means that she’s hurt more than just herself. She’s hurt Barb. And Jonathan. And she even hurt Steve.
But most of all, she doesn’t want to admit that she’s hurt, and has been hurting, Mike the whole time.
That’s why she doesn’t like Robin at first. Because Robin is very similar to Mike. She’s loud, and impulsive, and says the wrong thing at the wrong time. And she can’t help it in the slightest. It’s not Robin’s fault that Nancys cold to her at first. It’s got nothing to do with Robin. Nancy just doesn’t want to admit that Mike hasn’t done anything wrong either. Because that means she’s wrong. And that means that she’s hurt him.
Mike and Robin both display autistic traits. Honestly, a lot of the characters in Stranger Things do, but these two are the ones with the most on screen brushback against those traits. Everyone has autistic traits, and having autistic traits doesn’t necessarily mean that someone’s autistic but. Considering that this is a writing choice, I think it’s fair to assume, at the very least, that they’re autistic-coded. And the reactions we are told and that we see, like Robin telling Nancy that she doesn’t pick up on social queues easily, and that her mother thinks she’s got something wrong with her. Versus what we see with Mike, people calling him annoying and an asshole and oblivious. Going to Lucas for help with El because he doesn’t understand what he’s supposed to do.
The key difference between Mike and Robin is what we see and what we’re told. Robin always tells us what she’s thinking and feeling and who she is. But with Mike we’re shown what’s happening. Same with them being queer characters, we’re told that Robin likes girls, and we’re shown that Mike likes Will. Robin is a queer character for a heteronormative audience. Mike is a queer character, regardless of the audience’s biases. Robin tells us that she doesn’t pick up on social queues. She explains that to Nancy, and Nancy is confronted with what we’ve seen the entire time with Mike.
Mike doesn’t pick up on social queues either. And Nancy knows this, and she’s seen all of his similarities to Robin as a bad thing. And she’s told him that he’s doing something wrong for being that way.
The reason that Nancy doesn’t like Mike, why she pushes him away, and calls him annoying and an asshole, is because Mike can’t be like her.
He can’t conform in the same way that Nancy does. And she doesn’t understand why he can’t.
Until she meets Robin.
And there’s a neon sign in front of her face that says, “Mike didn’t deserve this. It wasn’t his fault. He’s different, and so is Robin, and you told him that something was wrong with him.”
Nancy hurt him. She pushed him away. Told him in every way possible that his interests, and friends, and personality were wrong. And that she didn’t want a brother who was like that.
And now she knows why. Robin told her why.
Nancy doesn’t hate Mike. She’s scared that she was wrong. That Mike hasn’t really done anything wrong. That it was her fault that their relationship is like this.
And she’s scared.
Because she’s a lot more like Mike than she wants to admit.

Dating Steve Harrington would include:
Tumblr media
Because honestly, who wouldn't want to date Steve?
Knowing Steve since you were little kids and being best friends ever since
You being totally oblivious to the fact that Steve liked you because you were convinced he was still in love with Nancy
Steve crushing on you for months but being afraid to tell you because he was sure you didn’t feel the same way even though you’ve loved him since, forever
Dropping little hints that he was crazy about you but you never catching on, always thinking he was talking about some new girl he’d met while at work
Getting jealous when he’d talk to Nancy because you hated how she broke his heart
Robin and Dustin trying to help him tell you how he felt but Steve would chicken out every time “No, I can’t tell her! If she doesn’t feel the same way, it’ll ruin our friendship and I can’t lose her.”
Your love for each other being blatantly obvious to EVERYONE
Steve always protecting you before everyone else even though he knew you could handle yourself
Steve finally telling you that he loved you when he was drugged by the Russians but you laughed it off thinking he didn’t know what he was saying. “Stevie, you’re very high right now.”
Him pulling you aside to tell you again before the showdown with Vecna while everyone was preparing for battle. “I meant what I said y’know, back at the mall…when you thought I was too drugged to know what I was saying…I’ve wanted to tell you for so long and I need to tell you now in case we don’t make it out this time and you can’t blame it on drugs.” He spoke softly as you put a hand over his mouth, smiling at him with tears in your eyes. “We’re going to make it out and when all of this is over you can tell me, okay?” You whispered cupping his face as he nodded. “I do, though. I always have.” Steve swallowed as you tried to hold back the tears from falling down your cheeks. “I do too.” You confessed finally sharing your first proper kiss
Nursing him back to health after defeating Vecna and becoming an official couple “Can we live happily ever after now?” Steve asked lying in his bed beside you before making love to you for the first time
Steve constantly touching you now that you’re his, it’s his love language after all
Your parents not being a bit surprised about your relationship because they were sure you were together anyway. “Haven’t you always been with him?” Your Dad asked confused as to why you were telling him now.
Borrowing his sweaters and forgetting to give them back for weeks at a time but Steve doesn’t mind because they always come back smelling like you and he loves the way you smell
Practically living in Steve’s house with him while his parents are out of town because he hates being alone. It’s not something that used to bother him but now that he’s with you, he doesn’t ever want to be without you. “Missed you today, honey.” He’d whisper in your ear, wrapping his arms tightly around you as you let out a soft laugh. “Steve, it’s only been a few hours.” “Yeah, a few hours too long.” He’d reply before kissing you
Having the whole gang over for movie nights, pool parties and sleepovers so Steve’s house doesn’t always feel so empty and you want him to have good memories there too
Teaching him how to cook because you’re tired of him constantly buying take out and shitty microwave meals when you aren’t around. Steve thinks it’s stupid at first but when you reveal there’s nothing sexier than a man who can cook, he rips off his shirt and throws on his apron, ready to make a mess in the kitchen, in more ways than one – “I might need a few lessons on how to cook, baby, but I’m a pro at dessert.” Steve would flirt trying to pull you closer as you’d wave your finger at him. “Dessert comes after “baby”.”
Running your fingers through his hair after a long day at work when you’re both lying on his couch watching a movie. “mmm sweetheart, that feels so good, could stay like this forever.”
Leaving your hair ties around his gear shift to annoy him but Steve secretly loves that you leave them there, just reminding everyone that you’re his and also because they’re useful when you decide to suck Steve off in his car when the drive in movie he takes you to is boring
Steve always looking up the local newspaper for affordable apartments so you can live together away from his parents house
Holding hands while he drives
Always telling you you're prettier than the actresses in the movies you watch while the gang gags at his cheesiness
Steve spending the holidays with your family and finally realising how much fun they could actually be
Bringing him and Robin lunch in Family Video
Steve picking you up from work on his days off “Hi honey, how was your day?”
Night swimming in his pool and feeling his fingers untying your bikini strings
Going on drives to nowhere just to see where you end up
Getting him to sing to you because it’s his secret talent and it really turns you on
Going on cheap dates because you hate fancy restaurants and prefer pizza
Dancing with you in his kitchen
Coming home drunk from a party and talking until the break of dawn
Steve whispering to you about his hopes for your future together when you have a bad dream and can’t sleep
Playing twister on date night but it always leads to sex
El and Max asking you for advice on relationships because you and Steve never break up unlike Nancy and Jonathan
Leaving Hickeys on Steve’s neck before he goes to work to annoy him
Steve leaving you notes when he leaves early but doesn’t want to wake you “Morning baby, how about dinner tonight at Enzo’s? Or we can just order a pizza and make out at skull rock, your choice - Love you x
Teasing Steve in public because you know how frustrated he gets
Sitting on his lap, whispering sweet nothings in his ear when he isn’t giving you attention at a party and you get a little too horny because he looks so good
Him never being able to say no to you
Steve always being willing to try new things in the bedroom with you “Baby I got this book today, you have to check it out, the positions are crazy!”
Lying on his chest while he tells you about his day
Giving you the last of his popcorn when you go to the movies because he knows the little pieces are your favourite
Steve loves how excited you get for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas.
He teases you for crying at the happy ending of movies but he thinks its the cutest thing ever
Giving Eddie advice on romance because now that he's found you, he wants his friend to be happy too
Always beating Steve at bowling, not because he lets you, just because he sucks at it. “Oh yeah? Maybe next time I’ll take you to the basketball court and see how you like losing, huh hotshot?” He’d joke wrapping an arm around you, kissing your cheek as you return your bowling shoes to the counter
Being the only other person allowed to drive his car, a privilege you’re extremely proud of. “I can’t believe you’re actually letting me drive this.” You squeal as Steve tosses you the keys, walking towards the passenger door. “Baby, if you drive the car as good as you fuck in it, we really won’t have a problem.” Steve teases as you slide in to the driver seat confidently.
Having stupid fights and Steve always apologising first because he hates it when you’re mad at him (not that you can stay mad for too long)
The hot make up sex you have after
Running you baths and lighting candles
Sneaking off from parties to find a bathroom you can make out in
Taking Steve to lingerie shops so he can help you pick out something sexy “Baby, I think you should get these, pink is totally your colour” “Oh I love lace!” “Crotchless panties, why would….Oooooh, they’re going in the basket.”
Steve being a professional pussy eater – the man just loves to watch you squirm underneath him and he could stay there for hours
Gathering his own little collection of sex toys to use on you because watching you cum is his favourite hobby
Never letting you shower alone because Steve wants to spend time with your boobies, he literally talks to them while you rinse out your hair
Wearing his old jerseys because seeing his last name draped across your back, drives him insane.
He knows he’ll make you Mrs Harrington eventually, he already has the ring picked out

Part One of the Newly Wed Game
A few things happened that evening.
The first was Steve quickly came to terms that he knew a lot about Eddie. That made sense. They hung out a lot. He knew a lot about Robin too because he cared about her. The difficult part of this was the fact Eddie knew a lot about him. And how warm inside that made him feel.
It was the way after the game, Steve went for seconds on the hot dogs and Eddie handed him the barbecue sauce and relish without a word. Steve only hesitated for a moment.
The second thing that happened was Steve tried to imagine how he’d feel if a girl he was dating knew all those things about him.
The third thing was trying to imagine Eddie as a girl.
But he didn’t need to. The image was already perfect with Eddie as is.
The fourth thing was a talk. After the barbecue, Eddie drove him and Robin back in his van. Robin was dropped off first and that was the first time Steve spoke up the entire ride.
“Can we talk?”
“Yeah”, Eddie answered easily.
He drove them out to a convenience store. Eddie went inside and Steve thought he’d come back with beers or something but Eddie surprised him with Coke flavored slushies.
“Meet me in the back”, Eddie said through the window. He went through the van’s back door while Steve just climbed through the front. Eddie closed one door, leaving the other open to get a breeze from the warm summer night.
Steve started speaking and it felt so disjointed and chaotic and oh god is this what was going on in Robin’s brain all the time? It was like he was vomiting words and by the end of it he expected Eddie to have either the blank face of someone not following or the bewildered look of someone caught in a verbal storm. Instead he looked, almost contemplative.
“Sooooo, lemme get this straight. You think you might be into me, based on what happened in that game?”
He said it so plainly and succinctly and it made Steve feel like an idiot. But he nodded anyway.
“Dude, I think you’re getting your wires crossed. I mean I know I’ve got the curly locks, but it’s Nancy you should be after.”
“If all it took was curly hair to make me fall I’d be dating Dustin!”, Steve shouted. He kicked his legs a little, hanging off the edge of the van. He was feeling restless. This was new territory and he didn’t know what came next.
“The only reason we did all that was so Nancy would see you’re still boyfriend material.”
“Yeah well, we shouldn’t’ve gotten every question right then”, Steve said.
Eddie’s back was against the side of the van, his legs stretched out right behind Steve. “I kinda lost track of the plan.”
“Why’s it so important to you that Nancy and I get back together?”
Eddie smiled a little before looking away. “Because it just makes sense, man. I mean, nothing against Jonathan, but you and her are like....a couple at the end of the world.”
Steve let out a frustrated laugh. “Is that your way of rejecting me?”
“Has this been your way of coming on to me? And I thought you were flirting royalty.” Eddie had seen Steve in action. He was never this timid about it. He always went for what he wanted.
“I never flirt unless I’m sure the other person is into me to.”
Eddie felt his walls getting weaker. Inside of him there was a mini-Eddie screaming to be let out. I’m into you! I’M into YOU! Flirt with me! Fucking do it!
Eddie pushed it down. Steve already had a high school sweetheart with whom to live his picket fence dreams. And those dreams couldn’t happen with him.
“You and Nancy just make sense.”
“Everyone keeps saying that.” Steve tossed his empty cup to the ground and moved, closing the van door, shutting out the sounds of cars going down the street. “It doesn’t make any sense to me at all.”
And then he straddled Eddie’s lap.
“Steve....what are you doing?”
“Hmm”, Steve moved a bit to get comfortable. “Now see, this makes sense to me. It’s just missing...” Steve moved Eddie’s hand, the one currently empty to sit on his hip.
The straw hung limp in his mouth. Was this really happening right now?
“Does this make sense to you?”, Steve asked, his hands against the van walls, caging Eddie in with his body.
And fuck if that didn’t do things to him. Then he remembered witnessing King Steve pull similar moves in the hallway, getting girls to focus solely on him. And fuck if getting the Steve Harrington Special didn’t do things to him. Eddie said the half finished slush down, only half caring if it fell over and put his other hand on Steve’s hip.
He didn’t know if this made sense. In fact, he was pretty sure it was all nonsense. But Eddie wasn’t about to tell Steve to get out of his lap.
“You and Nancy”, Eddie said in a low voice, although it was more of a reminder to himself than to Steve.
Steve didn’t want to hear her name anymore. So he leaned in and kissed Eddie. When he pulled back, Eddie’s eyes were closed but he was still trying to talk.
“You and...you and Nan-”
Steve kissed him again. This time when he pulled back, he watched Eddie take a breath as his eyes fluttered.
“You and-”
“You. Only you Eddie.”
Steve leaned in for a third when someone banged on the van.
“Hey no loitering! You and your broad get a move on!”
Steve grinned. “You’re my broad.”
“Actually, it’s my van and I’m driving. So you’re the broad sweet-cheeks.” And then Eddie gave him a daring squeeze of those cheeks and Steve felt his blood jump.
Years of getting his ass slapped by other jocks didn’t prepare him for this.
----------------
It started as a slow, on the down low thing. For Steve, it was because he was afraid of falling too hard too fast. Of Eddie getting tired of him. Of a devastating dumping. For Eddie, it was because he was waiting for Steve’s experimentation to be over and for him to go back to be the straight boy right out of every father’s dream for their little princess.
They kissed in private but in public the affection showed in other ways. In ways they were both realizing had always been there. Eddie being loud and obnoxious in most places but still knocking politely when coming to Steve’s house. Steve buying more hair spray for himself and throwing some hair ties into the basket as well.
The little things.
This goes on for a month and while it kills Steve to not tell Robin, he himself is not entirely sure what he’d tell her. “Yes I like girls but I also like Eddie. No, not guys. Just Eddie.”
What sense did that make? Steve tried looking at other guys but none of them compared. He tried looking at other girls too with the same result. So maybe he was just attracted to Eddie for the rest of his life. He could deal with that.
What he couldn’t deal with was coming out to Mike Wheeler.
Mike had been tasked with going to Eddie’s trailer to try and finesse some info about the new campaign. He’d lost rock, paper, scissors. Whatever. Mike took this task seriously. So of course, he was gonna scope out the situation. He noticed Steve’s car was parked out front. Mike didn’t know what those two did all the time together. They didn’t share any of the same interests as far as he knew.
He tiptoed around the trailer. The blinds to Eddie’s room were shut. So he went over to the kitchen window. If Eddie was in a good mood, this could be easy. If Steve ruined it by saying something stupid, that made Mike’s job way more difficult. He stood on a milk crate in time to see Steve come into view and go into the fridge.
Eddie came soon after, his hair looking crazier that usually, like he’d been thrashing it around. He hugged Steve from behind and kissed the back of his neck and Mike almost lost his shit.
“I thought you were too tired to move?”, Steve asked.
“Baby I just couldn’t wait. Missed you too much.”
There was more gooey, lovey-dovey stuff which would gross Mike out if he wasn’t already pissed.
“I can’t believe this!”, Mike shouted, grabbing their attention.
“Wheeler...”, Eddie said in a warning tone.
“You guys were cheating at that game!”, he accused. “You rigged it by pretending to not be dating!”
Both let out an exasperated sigh before Mike disappeared from the window.
“I’m telling Nancy!”
“Wheeler!”
“Mike!”

Bed of Roses [rockstar!eddie munson x fem!plus-sized reader]
pt. 1 The Single
warnings: mentions of cheating, angst, this is based on the song by Bon Jovi but I'm going to pretend Eddie wrote the song (and any other songs I might include)
*do not post my work on other sites or take my original work. likes and reblogs are welcome*
wc: 2.1k
Please comment if I should make this a series!
*I recommend listening to Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi while reading.
Tumblr media
He just released a new single. I hate it. It’s why I’m sitting down on the bathroom floor with a runny nose, tear-stained face, and a near empty bottle of wine. My eyes and lips are swollen, and the tears stopped falling hours ago.
It’s almost been two years since I’ve seen him. That damn song is probably not even about me, but I’m not convinced.
Earlier this evening is when I first heard it on the radio while I was driving to the store. “This is Corroded Coffin’s newest single Bed of Roses.” I can’t even remember where I was going, but I ended up back at home drunk on the floor.
I get up to rinse my face off with cold water before I hopefully fall asleep sooner rather than later. I look in the mirror just to not recognize the person I see. “Fuck you.” I turn out the lights and stumble my way into our bed. My bed, I mean. The darkness consumes me quickly as I lie there in dreamless sleep.
“Shit,” I say as I rub my head looking for my cigarettes and lighter. I slowly walk out of the room squinting as the sun is too bright and too loud. I walk out on the back porch and light my cig. I laugh to myself as I wonder why I still come outside to smoke. She’s not here to get onto me for smoking inside, and it’s my house anyway. As I finish up my cigarette, I see a woman I don’t remember walk outside and towards me in one of my shirts.
“Morning,” she says as she smiles bashfully at me.
“Mornin,” I say as I smash the last of my cigarette under my house shoe as I go to walk back inside.
“Wait, where are you going?” she says as she catches up to me and wraps her arms around me and kisses my cheek.
“I got a lot of shit to get done in the studio today.”
“Oh, okay. Well, I guess I’ll see you later then?”
I clear my throat before turning back to her.
“No, probably not. I um have to leave town for a few days,” I say while scratching my head and avoiding eye contact.
She left within an hour, but I didn’t hear her leave.
My scuffed black leather duffle bag sits on my bed as I stuff it with a few more shirts. I should have stopped using this bag by now. It’s all fucked up with scratches, and I could by a hundred new ones if I wanted to. I grab ahold of the small tag around one of the straps. I run my thumb over the embossed leather and smile.
To: Eddie
From: Birdy xx
She’s probably cursing me by now since the single released last night. I guess I better head to the studio, so I can get some work done before I catch my flight back to Indiana tonight.
“No, Nancy I’m fine,” I say as I walk into her office.
“I was just checking. You just seem a bit tired,” she says.
I ignore her words as I hand her a cup of coffee and take a seat on the green chair in front of her.
“I think I am going to leave town for a few weeks,” I say quickly. “I need to get some fresh air outside of Hawkins city limits.”
“Birdy, are you sure? You know Dustin’s graduation is this weekend,” she says knowingly.
“Yeah, I think he will forgive me if I give him a good graduation gift,” I say hopefully. She looks at me over the top of her newspaper. “I have to go anyway. Steve needs my help with organizing Dustin’s graduation party.”
I walk out into the parking lot and see my black 1969 Mustang. I get in and set my purse on the white leather passenger seat. I drive over to Family Video with the windows down listening to Wild Side just to spite him because I know how much he hates Tommy Lee.
I pull up outside, shut my door, and walk up on Robin and Steve talking at the counter. I briefly hear Eddie’s name before Robin elbows Steve in the ribs, and he quickly turns around running a hand through his hair.
“Hey Birdy, I didn’t hear you come in,” he clears his throat.
“I just came in to discuss Dustin’s party details with you,” I say taking off my sunglasses.
“Right, uh do you want to come over later to talk about it?”
“Actually, right now is better because I’m leaving town today,” I say as confidently as I can.
Robin spits out her drink behind the counter in a fit of laughter.
“Perfect timing Birdy, you must have heard the news already then,” she says as Steve tries to signal to her to be quiet.
“I didn’t. Do you care to enlighten me?” I say quizzically looking between the pair.
Steve takes a few seconds before speaking. He looks to be trying to carefully choose his next words.
“I was actually just telling Robin that uh Eddie will be staying with me this weekend since he’s coming in for Dustin’s graduation,” he stutters out nervously.
“I see,” it looks like I need to leave sooner then. “When is he supposed to get here?” I say leaning over the counter glaring at Steve.
“Well–you see, he’ll be here around ten o’clock,” Steve says looking to Robin for reassurance. She nods in agreement.
I look down at my watch “10:17 a.m.”
“Please tell me you mean p.m. like tonight,” I say through gritted teeth.
“I really wish I could, Birdy,” Robin says, “But I can’t exactly do that.”
“Damn it,” I say just in time to hear the doorbell chime as someone walks in the store.
I don’t turn around. I’m pretty sure my waist is stuck to the counter.
“Hi, pretty girl,” he says wrapping his arm around my shoulders, “Harrington, Buckley.”
“Hargrove,” Steve says annoyedly.
I nudge his arm and roll my eyes, but still sigh in relief. He moves his arm and winks at me.
“I just came by to return this,” he says sliding the tape across the counter.
Robin grabs the tape and walks to the other side of the counter and Billy follows.
I spend half an hour discussing party details with Steve, but most of the time he spends trying to convince me to stay in town because “this is an important moment in Dustin’s life” and “he really wants you there Birdy.”
I know it’s important and I do want to be there, but I don’t want to if he’s going to be there. I spend a few minutes thinking of how I can get myself out of this one without upsetting Dustin. Nothing comes to mind.
“Steve, fine. I won’t leave. I cross my heart and hope to die and all that,” I say sarcastically. “I actually have to go anyway. I have to pick up Ozzy before noon, and I have to pick up lunch for Wayne and drop it off at the trailer.”
“Birdy, are you sure? I don’t mind running it over there on my lunch,” Steve says comfortingly.
“Yeah Harrington, he’s probably not even in town yet, and if he is I am going to have to face him sooner or later anyway,” I grumble.
I make right on time to pick up Ozzy. I give El an apologetic glance as she is waiting on me before leaving for her lunch break.
“Thanks for waiting on me El,” I say as I take Ozzy from her.
“No problem, Max is not here to pick me up yet,” she smiles.
The small black, white, and gray terrier in my arms licks my cheeks and barks excitedly. I rub his soft fur as I walk outside with him.
“Well don’t you look handsome, today?” I say in my baby voice.
Ozzy doesn’t care much and just jumps into the passenger seat to stand up to look out of the window. I laugh to myself as I drive to Benny’s to pick up Wayne’s lunch. I started taking him lunch on Friday’s since he’s retired after Eddie hit it big and paid off all of Wayne’s debt, which I’m glad for because Wayne deserves to spend the last of his years just relaxing.
I make the familiar drive through Forest Hills to the Munson’s trailer. I park in front and let Ozzy out and he runs around the front then follows me up the steps. I knock on the screen door.
“Just a second,” I hear Wayne say. “Good to see ya darlin’ how are ya today?”
“I’m doin’, okay,” as I say following him inside.
I sit the bag on the table and begin unpacking our burgers and fries. I take out two sodas from the fridge, and hand one to Wayne who has yet to sit down. I don’t say anything and go to sit down until I hear Ozzy start barking down the hall. Wayne gives me an apologetic look before I make sense of the situation. Ozzy stops barking. That’s when I hear it. That damn laugh. I move away from the table and to the front door.
“I-I will come back later to pick up Ozzy,” I say to Wayne with a shaking voice and my back to the front door.
Before I can turn to get the door open, Eddie comes into the living room carrying Ozzy and smiling. He looks up, makes eye contact with me, and clears his throat. I look at the floor.
“Uh hi Birdy, long time no see,” he says putting Ozzy down and slowly approaching me like I’m a scared animal about to take off. To be fair, he’s not wrong.
Before he can take another step, I turn around and burst through the door and jog to the door of my car, but before I can open it there’s a hand on the door. It’s definitely not mine. Those aren’t my rings.
“Shit,” I say to myself before slowly turning to face him and those pretty brown eyes.
“Birdy, please stay. I need to talk to you,” he says giving me puppy dog eyes that could put Ozzy to shame.
“Eds, I mean Eddie,” I say trying to back up, but my ass is already against the car. Eddie physically flinches as I correct myself. “I can’t do that. You know that” I say looking down at my shoes.
“Baby please, just for a few minutes,” I know you don’t really want to talk to me. I just need a few minutes and then you can leave.”
Eddie scoots closer to me, trapping me between him and my car. I clear my throat and look him in the eyes. Anger quickly forms in me. Eddie starts to look worried. He should. Before he can say something else, I knee him in the crotch, and he falls backwards on the ground. I wince as I look at him in pain, but it quickly subsides as I remember what that prick did to me. I open the door then turn to him still groaning on the ground.
“Maybe you should have tried to talk before you stuck your dick in someone else,” I say glaring at him before I slam the door, start my engine, and speed off.
Wayne walks outside seeing Eddie on the ground still. Ozzy runs down the steps and goes right up to Eddie licking his face.
“You kinda’ deserved that one, son,” Wayne says looking down the trail of dust you left after driving off.
“I fucking know. I fucked up. I get it,” Eddie says, finally sitting up with a scowl on his face.
Wayne sits on the steps and takes out a cigarette lighting it. Eddie gets up and walks over to sit next to Wayne. He takes out his own cigarette and lights it.
“Ya know Uncle Wayne,” Eddie says before blowing out some smoke. “I regret buying her that car since all she uses it for now is to run from me.”
Wayne stands up and opens the door. “Ya know that’s your fault boy. You can’t blame her for your stupid choices,” Wayne says before walking inside and letting the door slam.
Eddie puts his head in his hands. He sighs and looks up seeing Ozzy smelling something in the grass. “Ozzy, you can convince her to talk to me, right?” Ozzy walks over to Eddie and puts his front paws on Eddie’s knee. “Yeah buddy, you’ll help me convince Birdy,” he says petting the small dog. Ozzy excitedly tilts his head at the name of his owner. “Come on, let’s go inside,” Eddie says standing up and looking down the gravel path before whispering “fuck” under his breath and following Ozzy inside.

Chapter Fourteen: The Reunion
Tumblr media
In a swirl, the contents from Steve’s stomach were flushed down the toilet. He sighed out and rested his arm on the seat, too tired to care about how unhygienic it was. In the neighboring stall, Robin laid on her back with her legs straight up in the air and her heels resting on the door. “The room stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you?”
Steve looked up at the ceiling to find it still. “Holy shit. No. You think we puked it all up?”
“Maybe. Ask me something.” She switched to a Russian accent. “Interrogate me.”
“Okay. Interrogate you. Sure. Um…” He chuckled and sat up straight. “When was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?”
“Today.”
“What?”
“When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw.”
The two burst out into laughter. “Oh, my god.” Steve exclaimed.
“It was just a little bit, though.” She giggled.
“Yeah, it’s definitely still in her system.” He heartfeltly groaned as he pinched his nose. Robin heard this and laughed a bit harder as she sat up and leaned against the wall.
“Oh…” She sighed out the last of her laughs. “Alright, my turn.”
“Okay. Hit me.”
She ran her hand through her locks as she thought of a question. “Have you ever… ever been in love?”
There were a couple beats of silence before he answered. “Yep. Nancy Wheeler. First semester, senior year.” He made his hand in the shape of a gun and imitated a gunshot sound playfully.
“Oh, my god…” Robin groaned. “She’s such a priss.”
He hummed. “Turns out, not really.”
“Are you still in love with Nancy?” She scoffed.
“No.”
“Why not?”
Steve stared off as a thoughtful look came about his features. “I think it’s because I found someone who’s a little bit better for me.” He chuckled. “It’s crazy. Ever since Dustin got home, he’s been saying, ‘You know, you gotta find your Suzie. You gotta find your Suzie’.”
Robin furrowed her brows. “Wait, who’s Suzie?”
“It’s some girl from camp, I guess his girlfriend. To be honest with you, I’m not a hundred percent sure she’s even real.” He ran a hand through his hair with a small laugh before he exhaled out his humor. “But that’s not- that’s not really the point. That doesn’t matter. The point is, this girl, you know, the one that I like… it’s somebody that I… didn’t even talk to in school. And I don’t even know why.”
Heart stuttering, Robin thought of their conversation they had while in captivity as she let him talk.
“Maybe ‘cause Tommy H would’ve made fun of me or… I wouldn’t be… prom king.” He shamefully shook his head. “It’s stupid. I mean, Dustin’s right, it’s all just a bunch of bullshit anyways. Because when I think about it, I should’ve been hanging out with this girl the whole time.”
Her stomach churned and she felt like she was going to throw up all over again, and not because of the drugs.
“First of all, she’s hilarious. She’s so funny. I feel like, this summer, I have laughed harder than I have laughed… in a really long time.”
She grinned, knowing that she was the one Steve had spent the most time with this summer.
“And she’s smart. Way smarter than me. You know, she can crack, like, top secret Russian codes and…”
But that grin fell as her heart broke. Not for herself, but for her friend. His confidence in his confession hurt her more than anyone would have thought.
“You know? She’s honestly unlike anyone I’ve ever even met before.”
Robin buried her head into her knees, having no idea how to respond. He thought so highly of her, and she had not a clue as to how to break the news to him. She ran both hands through her hair and tiredly scrubbed at her face.
“Robin?” Steve tapped on the stall wall, unable to see the tears in her eyes when she lifted her head. “Robin, did you just OD in there?”
“No.” She quietly answered with a sigh, slowly leaning back against the tiled wall once again. “I… am still alive.”
This was unlike her, he knew it. The deep sigh that sounded from her stall worried him a bit. So, he scooted over to the wall, grabbed the bottom of it and slid through the gap to her stall.
“The floor’s disgusting.” She watched him lean against the wall across from her.
“Yeah, well,” He hummed. “I already got a bunch of blood and puke on my shirt, so… What do you think?”
She raised her brows. “About?”
“This girl.”
“She sounds awesome.”
“She is awesome. And what about the guy?”
“I think he’s on drugs, and he’s not thinking straight.”
“Really? ‘Cause I think he’s thinking a lot more clearly than usual.”
Any amusement on Robin’s face was gone. “He’s not.” She inhaled a shuddering breath and rapidly blinked to keep the tears at bay. “Look… he doesn’t even know this girl. And if he did know her, like- like really know her, I don’t think he’d even want to be her friend.”
Steve shook his head and leaned forward to be closer to her. “No, that’s not true. No way is that true.”
“Listen to me, Steve.” She looked deeply into his eyes. “It shocked me to my core, but I like you. I really like you. But I’m not like your other friends. And I’m not like Nancy Wheeler.”
He chuckled. “Robin, that’s exactly why I like you.”
She scoffed, having no choice but to tell him the truth. “Do you remember what I said about Click’s class? About me being jealous and, like, obsessed?”
“Yeah.” He nodded, confused at the way she tightly shut her eyes.
“It isn’t because I had a crush on you. It’s because…” A heartbroken, twitching smile made its way onto her face. “...she wouldn’t stop staring at you.”
Steve furrowed his brows in confusion. “Mrs Click?” He tried, even more confused at her tired chuckle and the way her eyes averted and sparkled with a sort of admiration.
“Tammy Thompson.” She whispered. “I wanted her to look at me. But… she couldn’t pull her eyes away from you and your… stupid hair.”
Okay, now he was seriously confused.
“And I didn’t understand, because you would get bagel crumbs all over the floor. And you asked dumb questions. And you were a douchebag. And- And you didn’t even like her and… I would go home… and just scream into my pillow…”
Steve shook his head, trying his best to understand this situation. “But Tammy Thompson’s a girl.”
If possible, her expression became even more heartbroken. “Steve…”
“Yeah?”
She gave him a look, one that just made everything click.
Tammy Thompson’s a girl.
“Oh…”
“Oh.”
“Holy shit.”
“Yeah… Holy shit.”
The two fell into an uncomfortable silence. Robin couldn’t even look at Steve, certain she had just lost a really cool, really sweet, really funny, really caring, really good friend. She didn’t find those very often, and the fact that she would lose one for just being herself, well…
That was the story of her life.
Steve, on the other hand, didn’t know what to think. The revelation didn’t put any sour feelings in him towards Robin, it just shone a light on their entire relationship. Robin is a very vocal person, ready to speak her mind. If she liked him, she would have said it a long time ago. She wouldn’t have kept it a secret unless it was something that would have damaged their relationship, like revealing a part of herself anyone else would have hated her for.
But not Steve. He wasn’t like that. In fact, her bravery probably made him appreciate his friend even more.
“Steve…” She looked at him in desperation, begging him to say something, anything. “Did you OD over there?”
He smiled. “No, I just, uh… just thinking.”
“Okay…” She whispered, nervously tugging at her earlobe. She was certain he was about to end their friendship right then and there.
“I mean, yeah.” He shrugged, grabbing her attention. “Tammy Thompson, you know, she’s cute and all, but… I mean, she’s a total dud.”
Robin frowned. “She is not.”
“Yes, she is. She wants to be, like, a singer. She wants to move to, like, Nashville and shit.”
“She has dreams.”
“She can’t even hold a tune. She’s practically tone-deaf. Have you heard her?”
Robin dropped her jaw, not wanting to agree with him, but she smiled at the thought of her crush being a terrible singer.
“All the time.” Steve continued, starting to sing off key. “You see me now tonight-”
“Shut up.” She laughed.
“You see me more than-”
“She does not sound like that.”
“She sounds exactly like- That’s a great impersonation of her.”
“She does not. You sound like a Muppet.”
“She sounds like a Muppet. She sounds like a Muppet giving birth.”
Robin laughed as he started to sing again, this time trying to imitate Kermit the Frog.
“And if you could hold me tight…”
She grinned and joined in.
“We’ll be holding on forever!”
“Exactly!”
“I know!”
Their giggle fest was momentarily interrupted when the bathroom door burst open again, Dustin angrily walking in with Erica in tow.
“Okay. What the hell?!”
As soon as they looked at each other again, their laughter started up again, making them appear as if they were still drugged.
-------------------------------------------------
Bradley’s Big Buy welcomed in Billy Hargrove, his boots crunching on the glass left there by its previous occupants. He stopped at the entrance, his senses reaching out for a presence. For Eleven. For his protector.
His senses pulled him to the medicine aisle.
They grew stronger as soon as he was in the aisle, finding a small puddle of blood among a litter of used medical supplies. It bubbled and swirled as he walked over and knelt down in front of it. He dipped his middle and index finger into the blood and brought it close to his face.
Immediately, his head snapped up, pupils dilated and black veins in the whites of his eyes. He knew where she was. And based on the presence he felt in the bathroom, they were together.
At the Hawkins Fun Fair, Karen entered the Gravitron, pulling her daughter and husband along with her. “How does this work?” Ted asked.
“You just lean against the wall and then all of a sudden, you’re gonna feel the wind push you back and it’s gonna-”
“Hold on. Do we have seat belts?”
“No, no, there’s no- Joyce!” Karen lit up at the sight of Joyce Byers rushing up to her with Chief Jim Hopper following behind. “Oh, my gosh! How funny to see you here!”
Joyce gave her a strained smile. “Where are the kids?”
“I… I haven’t seen them. I don’t think they’re here yet.”
From the middle of the ride, the operator craned her neck to them. “You three, up against the wall!”
But Hopper ignored her and turned back to Karen. “No, where are they?”
She chuckled and looked down in thought. “Oh, my gosh, I can hardly keep track these days. Uh, they were at, uh… Dustin’s then Lucas’s, then Max’s.” She shrugged uselessly with a smile. “You know how it is. Summer!”
Ted chuckled with a nod from where he was leaning against the wall beside Holly. “Probably getting into some kinda trouble.”
Suddenly, the ride alarm blared, the door to the only entrance and exit dropping closed. “Last warning, you two! Up against the wall!”
“Hold the ride!” Hopper retaliated.
“On your life, Magnum!”
As soon as the lever was pulled, Joyce and Hopper were thrown against the wall. The floor dropped from below their feet and the ride began to spin. Ted groaned uncomfortably as Karen grinned in exhilaration.
“Woo! Here we go!”
“Holy smokes! Holy smokes!”
They were so entranced by the ride that they didn’t notice Joyce and Hopper clasp hands, interlocking their fingers together.
-------------------------------------------------
The ending of Back to the Future brought life back into the mall, a whole crowd of people exiting the theater in enthusiastic chatter. This was a perfect opportunity for the quartet to slip through and blend in. Dustin creaked the door open, watching the crowd grow bigger as more people filed out.
“And… blend.”
With that, the four exited the bathroom and casually walked into the middle of the crowd, keeping their eyes forward. “Well, shit, that worked.” Erica smirked and turned to Dustin.
“Course, it worked.” He smiled. “We just have to get on the bus with the rest of these plebes, and home sweet home, here we come.”
Steve tilted his head downward and moved his eyes to his friend. “Uh, Dustin?”
“What?”
“Yeah, we might not wanna go to your house.”
“Why?”
“Well, I might’ve told them your full name.”
Dustin widened his eyes, trying his best not to shout in a rage. “What is wrong with you?!”
“Dude, I was drugged.”
“So?”
“So?”
“So, you resist. You tough it out. You tough it out like a man.”
“Oh, yeah, it’s easy for you to say.”
“Guys?”
At Robin’s interruption, they focused their gaze forward and froze in their spots. Near the entrance of the mall, one of the guards that had spotted them at the back of the mall was now there, acting as mall security. He had just been talking to a regular citizen and bid them farewell before he slowly turned his head, catching sight of his targets.
“Abort.” Dustin spun around. “Abort.”
Without a second to waste, the group turned with him and rushed through the crowd. Robin led them all to the escalators, but with the mall closing for the night, they had been turned off. They stopped for a quick second to weigh their options, but when they saw the four Russians heading their way, Robin sat in the space between the two escalators, saving time by sliding down. Next down was Steve, then Dustin, then Erica.
At the Fun Fair, Karen and her family had exited the Gravitron behind Hopper and Joyce when a man could be seen screaming at them from the carnival games. She watched in confusion as Hopper grabbed Joyce by the hand and darted to the left. The two stopped for a second, looked at each other, and then dashed between two game stalls.
“They make an odd couple, don’t they?” Karen asked with narrowed eyes, clutching Holly’s hand beside her. She felt Ted come up behind her and place a hand on her shoulder.
“Well, it’s like they say, there’s someone for everyone.”
Karen glanced over at her husband before turning forward again, rolling her eyes with a deep sigh. Yes, there was someone for everyone. And of all people, her someone just so happened to be Ted Wheeler.
-------------------------------------------------
The quartet’s terrified hearts beat as one from where they hid. In all of the places to hide, they hid in the openness of the food court, finding coverage behind a counter of one of the restaurants. They could hear the Russians speaking to each other in their language as their footsteps scattered across the area.
Dustin had nearly fallen on his face on the way to his hiding place, resulting in a quiet squeak of his sneakers against the tile floor. He quickly tucked himself between Robin and Steve with Erica on the other side of the former. The four pulled their knees close to their chests and tried to regulate and quiet their breathing. The guards were drawing closer, their footsteps louder every time they stepped.
They had no plan, no chance for an escape, and no one to know where they were. They were ready to accept their fate, to let these men take them away or maybe flat out shoot them to death.
They all flinched at the sound of a car alarm echoing throughout the food court. There were Russian words of confusion, then a huge crash, and then silence. The four behind the counter slowly rose to their feet to get a look at what just happened.
The Russian guards laid on the ground, most likely dead, glass shards across the tiles, and the car that sat proudly in the middle of the mall now overturned against another food counter on the other side of the food court.
What just happened?
Slowly turning their heads upwards, they could see two very familiar people on the balcony. El and Doc stood side-by-side, their hands clasped together. The rest of the Party, plus Nancy and Jonathan, rushed up to their sides with looks of shock.
But Dustin could only grin at his saviors.
The two groups met each other in the middle of the food court with Doc and Mike helping Eleven walk. Dustin ran up to them with an excited laugh. “You flung that thing like a Hot Wheel!” He exclaimed and hugged the two girls tight, receiving the affection right back.
“Oh, my god, I am so happy to see you right now!” Doc pulled away enough to press a hard kiss to his cheek.
Erica rushed up to her brother. “Lucas?!”
“What are you doing here?!” He gawked.
“Ask them.” She jutted her thumb to her group. “It’s their fault.”
“True, yeah.” Steve nodded. “Totally true. It’s absolutely our fault.”
Robin looked back and forth between the car and the new group. “I don’t understand what happened to that car.”
“El and (Y/N) have superpowers.” Dustin pointed to them.
“I’m sorry?”
“Superpowers.” Steve waved. “They threw it with their minds. C’mon, catch up.”
“That’s El?” Erica pointed to said girl.
“Who’s El?” Robin questioned.
“I’m sorry,” Nancy spoke up. “Who are you?”
“I’m Robin. I work with Steve.”
Dustin excitedly pointed to Robin. “She cracked the top secret code.”
“Yeah,” Steve nodded. “Which is how we found out about the Russians in the first place.”
“Russians?” Jonathan frowned. “Wait, what Russians?”
“The Russians!” He gestured to the car.
“Those were Russians?” Max raised her brows.
“Some of them.” Erica answered.
“What are you talking about?” Lucas asked.
“Didn’t you hear our code red?” Dustin looked to him.
“Yeah,” Mike spoke up. “I couldn’t understand half of what you were saying.”
“Goddamn low battery!”
Steve sighed exasperatedly. “How many times do I have to tell you with the low battery?”
“Well, everything worked out, didn’t it?”
“Worked out?” Erica turned to him. “We almost died.”
“Yeah, but we didn’t, did we?”
Doc let out a sharp exhale and waved her hands about. “Okay, wait. So, the Russians are the ones opening the gate? How?”
“Okay, so, they have this massive machine…”
His words drifted off in her ears, her senses picking up on a nearby presence. She shuddered and turned her body in search of it. When she did, she saw El standing a little ways away from the group, slowly limping forward.
“El?”
Doc’s call was muffled, the droning noise in El’s ears too powerful for her to make out any of the voices around her. She looked a mess, dark circles decorating the underside of her eyes and she was leaking blood from both her nostrils. As the droning grew louder, she quietly groaned and reached her hands up to her ears to block it out, but it only isolated it.
Doc rushed up to her just as she fell to the floor. “El!” She cried out, everyone following as Doc slowly turned her to lay on her back. “El?”
“What’s wrong with her?” Erica asked as she and Mike knelt down on her other side.
“El, hey, what’s wrong? What’s wrong?”
“My leg,” El groaned. “My leg.”
Suspicions rising, Doc hovered her hand over where El’s leg was, her entire hand painted in black veins. “I knew it.” She whispered and slowly lifted her pant leg to reveal her blood-soaked bandages. Jonathan and Nancy made quick work of peeling off the bandages. When it was exposed, everyone groaned in disgust at its worsened state. It didn’t make sense, they had disinfected the wound. But now, it had darkened and looked to be horribly infected, black veins growing from the wound.
“I know what this is.” Doc voiced.
“What? What is it?” Mike questioned.
Before she could answer, something began moving in her shin, under her skin. Everyone gasped in horror as El grunted in pain. Doc slowly hovered her hand over the wound again, the creature within quickly moving away, causing El to wail out. Mike quickly turned to her.
“El! El!”
When the creature jerked away again from Doc’s hand, El wailed again. “Shit.” Doc whispered.
“El! El, are you okay?!” Mike panicked, but she wasn’t answering. Everyone looked around at each other, completely clueless as to what to do. “El! El! El!”
The creature moved again, causing El to throw her head back and let out a scream of agony.

rivals to lovers mall fruity four au?
Steve and Robin work at Scoops Ahoy (because we’re pretending the mall didn’t blow up). And they hate Hot Dog on a Stick. Like they would rather die than associate with the people who work there. (Keith worked there at one point.)
Then, one day, Nancy, fresh from being fired by the Hawkins Post, needs a job and gets hired at... you guessed it! Hot Dog on a Stick.
Steve is like, “Nancy. Why.” (They’re on good terms of course, amicable exes, came out to each other as bisexual. Jonathan and Nancy have also broken up, they just grew apart. Robin has had a crush on Nancy for a while, everyone but Nancy is well aware of it. Robin is not subtle.)
And Nancy’s like, “Not everyone who works here sucks. I usually have a shift with this one dude, he’s cool. I don’t know if he’s your type though.”
“My type?!” Steve splutters.
“Like, type of person to hang out with,” Nancy clarifies.
And Steve concedes this much. He doesn’t hang out with many people. In fact, if he thinks about it, nowadays he only hangs out with Robin, Nancy, occasionally Jonathan, and the brats (his 7 children, all of which are basically middle schoolers), and he tries to convince himself that he’s not pathetic for this, but fails.
Anyway.
One time Steve and Robin happen to have their shifts align with Nancy and this mysterious guy’s shift. Steve pulls the same shit that he did in S3 with the binoculars and the spying. He creeps around the corner of the food court, eyes fixed on Nancy, working the register, hoping to catch a glimpse of the mystery guy when-
“Creep.”
“FUCK!” Steve jumps, flipping around, hands instinctively raised to protect himself, but he loses balance and falls on his ass. Standing above him is a guy in a Hot Dog on a Stick uniform, bent over laughing at Steve.
Steve’s first instinct is to snap at this dude who scared him, but the guy straightens up and Steve instantly loses all sense of what he meant to say. He has long, curly, black hair, and big, warm eyes. Somehow, he managed to make the Hot Dog on a Stick uniform look good, which stunned Steve, who couldn’t even pull off the Scoops Ahoy uniform (all the girls he’d flirted with had proved this much).
Steve is absolutely speechless. Because this jerk is really Cute.
Cute Guy rolled his eyes, wiping a tear of mirth from his eye. “Dumbass.”
Whatever animosity that had been erased from Steve’s mind upon viewing Cute Guy instantly returned. “Asshole. What the hell was that about?”
“You interested in Wheeler? Maybe I could hook you up with a date,” Cute Guy offers, wiping a tear of mirth from his eyes.
“What? No, I’m not interested in Nancy,” Steve scoffed. “We’re exes.”
Cute Guy gave him a Look. “Is that supposed to make this creep situation better?”
“Fuck. I’m not trying to be a creep-”
“Then what are you doing here, Harrington?” Cute Guy asks, leaning down and getting in Steve’s face.
“You, uh, you know my name?” Steve said, panicking from proximity. He imagined he could smell Cute Guy’s shampoo, and then kicked himself. Why would he give a shit about Cute Guy’s shampoo?
“Of course I do. How could I not know the King of Hawkins High?”
“...Right.”
“Don’t worry, I’m not expecting you to know who I am. Freaks like me usually fly under your radar. Unless you’re looking to teach us a lesson, hmm?”
“That- that’s not me anymore,” Steve disagreed, frowning heavily. Every word Cute Guy said made him more and more uneasy. “That was before, and I’ve changed.”
Cute Guy gave him another Look, this time accompanied with a raised eyebrow.
“I have!”
“Okay...” Cute Guy clucked doubtfully, leaning back up and starting to walk away.
“Wait!” Steve called, and then cursed himself. Why why why did he say anything? When would this torment end?
“Yeah?” Cute Guy crossed his arms now.
“You- Your name. It doesn’t seem fair that you get to know who I am, but I don’t get to know who you are,” Steve pointed out.
“Why do you care to know who I am?”
Good question.
Steve floundered for a minute, trying to bullshit an answer that didn’t sound gay as fuck.
Cute Guy sighed, cutting through Steve’s train of thought. “Poor, naive King Harrington. He thought he’d get everything served to him on a platter, didn’t he?”
“What?”
“If you want to learn my name, you’ll have to earn it,” Cute Guy said simply, shrugging, his tone light.
“Earn it? How-”
“Figure it out,” Cute Guy suggested, turning and walking back to Hot Dog on a Stick.
Steve watched Cute Guy and Nancy put their heads together and whisper for a moment, both shooting glances his way. Steve frowned, standing up and brushing off his ass. He returned to Scoops Ahoy and Robin, trying to hold onto the few scraps of dignity he had left. (Spoiler: he had no dignity.)
Robin had the board out. The ever-dreaded board.
“You. Suck.”
The “You suck” category had about twelve tallies, and Steve watched as Robin drew another one, slowly and deliberately, shaking her head like the judgy bitches who liked to visit with his mom on Saturday mornings.
“That wasn’t me flirting!”
“Sure it wasn’t.”
“It wasn’t!”
“I sure hope not. That was a train wreck.”
“It wasn’t that bad,” Steve protested, face warm.
“Oh, Stevie,” Robin reached out and put her hand on top of his, giving him a condescending and pitying look. “It really, truly was.”
And Steve was dying inside.

I’ve been scrolling on the byler tag and like I don’t understand something.
why is it delusional for Mike and Will to have similar internalized homophobia or similar queer stories. Straight characters literally have similar and/or the same stories.
And besides it’ll never be the same experiences between them.
While Will had Lonnie and the bullies making him feel like being queer is wrong, he was also surrounded by Joyce and Jonathan who made him feel like being different is good. I mean his speech in the van to Mike, saying that Mike makes him feel like being different is a good thing and that it makes him fight on. so yes, Will has internalized homophobia but it’s the 80s, im sure even Robin has it too. Like it was basically shamed if you were queer, who wouldn’t have internalized homophobia.
Mike had his dad and the bullies too making him feel like being queer will get you killed or that it’s a bad thing. Except he didn’t have a older sibling to tell him that it’s okay to be different because Nancy was going through something similar with how she thought she had to act a certain way. And his mom, though she told him in s1 that he can tell her anything and had a queer coded scene, she hasn’t since after. So he’s gonna have some internalized homophobia no matter what. But unlike Will he doesn’t have the side that tells him it’s okay and even better being different. So he conforms to the society norms and hides that part of himself, and even to himself he hides it. But in s4 he has Eddie. Someone had pointed out this so credits to them, that Eddie made Mike feel like being different, liking D&D and not conforming to the norms is cool. I mean Eddie’s speech about how “forced conformity is what’s killing the kids” probably wasn’t the first time he brought it up. And we even see it in Mike’s clothes. He finding out who he is and not hiding so much from it.
All to say is, everyone is allowed to think what they want about a character. What I don’t like seeing is people saying it’s delusional to think that Mike and Will are on similar queer storylines.
Why is it delusional??
They aren’t the same story anyways. They definitely would parallel each other but it’s different. parallel doesn’t mean exactly exactly the same. it’s just similar.
seriously. we need to stop throwing around the words crazy delusional or even weird, because like at the end of the day we all agree that Mike is queer. and that Byler is endgame.
we keep saying we all can have our own opinions and then see posts that call eachother delusional or weird. Like stop.
we’re not even fighting about different things. It’s like we’re yelling at eachother but we agree on things.
Oh anon, you and me both, I completely agree
I’ve seen people get really defensive about any other characters mirroring Will’s story, which I think I understand where they’re coming from when they say stuff like “he’s the only one with X trauma so don’t take it from him,” but also—a lot of queer people grow up with similar experiences? And he’s not the only queer character we have anymore. Their stores all parallel each other, even if they are wildly different.
Will is gay, in love with his best friend, a young teenager figuring himself out, has experienced homophobia onscreen, and has found one or more outlets for negative feelings as a result of his queerness.
In addition to, all under 18:
Robin, a lesbian, who likes someone from band she’s been shown to be very friendly with, and has shown expectation of homophobia onscreen—and has verbally expressed fear over being outed to the wrong person. Steve has narratively and thematically been built to be her queer support by s4: he’s not going through the same problems as she is, but he loves her unconditionally and supports her for who she is.
Vickie, heavily implied to be bisexual or somewhere under that umbrella, whose boyfriend was someone she wanted to go to a weapons store of all places with, and who now likes Robin now, a girl from band she’s been shown to be very friendly with and interested in getting along with. Her experiences with homophobia are more subtle, but we see her really jittery when it’s hinted she could be queer. I say that counts. Her queer support comes most obviously in the pb&j talk with Robin at the end of s4, though she seems well-adjusted enough to reasonably have more, honestly.
And, Mike—surprise!—follows the pattern, too. I personally think it makes the most narrative sense with the queercoding established if he was gay, but bi Mike and other interpretations are valid and cool, too. We agree he’s in love with his best friend, of course, and from the very first season, we saw Troy and his squad targeting most of their taunts about Will being a “fairy” etc. at Mike, and anti-gay propaganda being spread avidly around him. His queer support, like you said, despite the few others who’ve offered, was definitely Eddie. S4 was the first time we’ve seen Mike openly embracing his true self, and his one episode in Hawkins carried queer Mike being happy for most of the show. Of course, Will would’ve probably loved to have been support for Mike, but he has no clue Mike is queer, obviously.
So, yeah, that’s a long-winded way to say I agree lol. Straight cis allosexual people even go through a lot of the same experiences during adolescence, so why would it be any different for queer people? Hell, honestly, with the way the show’s going, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got queer Henry Creel in flashbacks, too.
I really appreciate the ask!! You’ve clearly thought about this and brought some really interesting points to the table, so cheers for that lol. I don’t know why there’s so much division about queer experiences needing to be totally different for them to be unique, but hopefully people will come around soon. Frustration is normal, but it always ends eventually, in good situations.
I don’t know how much I answered your question, exactly, but hope this was at least entertaining anon lmao 💜

"wanna practice" for the ronance prompt :))
and this is me practicing before writing the seven husbands of nancy wheeler 👀
Robin knocked on the door of Nancy’s trailer just mildly nervous. She had gotten her excitement mostly under control since the first time she met the superstar, and they had been working together on set for weeks already. Acting opposite each other was a delight. Robin could act like a badass spy and handle guns and even mess up her own action stunts in front of Nancy and survive. She had to be able to be normal about knocking on her door and checking in on her before they started filming that day, right?
Well, surprisingly, it was Nancy who wasn’t acting completely normal.
“Who’s there?” Nancy asked.
“It’s me, Robin,” Robin replied, but she barely got her name out of her mouth when Nancy was throwing the door of the trailer open, dragging her inside, and closing the door again. Then she resumed her nervous pacing along the limited space they were in while Robin watched with a frown of confusion and concern. “Whoa, Nancy, are you okay?” she asked, holding her hands up as if she were facing a dangerous animal, which might not scare her as much as Nancy fucking Wheeler usually did. But Nancy didn’t look dangerous right then and there. Quite the opposite really.
“I’m not, I’m…” Nancy stopped. Stopped talking, stopped walking, and Robin feared she would stop breathing. “I’m just overthinking everything, it’s okay.”
“Nance, you have nothing to worry about,” Robin smiled and carefully approached the other actress. “Do I have to remind you that you’re the only Oscar winner here? You’re even a producer, Wheeler. You got this. You’re a natural.”
Nancy granted a small smile, and she appeared to be considerably calmer, but not any less worried. Finally, she admitted in a voice so quiet that Robin almost failed to hear, “I’m nervous about the kiss.”
All that Robin could do was nod silently. Right. The kiss. The kiss between both of their characters. The kiss that had been right there in the script she got months ago and she had been losing her mind over every single day since getting the part. That kiss. At least it was a comfort to know that even Nancy Wheeler got nervous about it too but… why?
Apparently, Robin had voiced her question out loud, because the next thing she knew Nancy was blowing her mind with her answer. “I’ve just never kissed a woman before,” she said.
“Really?!” Robin blurted out, completely tactless. The unimpressed look Nancy sent her way immediately made her wince and try to fix it. “I… I’m sorry. It’s, uh, I just… I mean, you’re an actress. I thought for sure everyone in Hollywood, well… Apparently not? I guess? Maybe it was just my experience? Anyway, It’s not a big deal, right? I’m sure, uh, I’m sure it’ll be fine, and you, I’m so sure that you… I’m just going to try my best and uh…Wanna practice?” Robin couldn’t believe she let herself blurt that out, of all things. But she couldn’t help herself, not when Nancy was in the room and staring at her, vulnerable and desperate like that. “I mean, no. Why, uh, why would we do that? You’re a pro. You don’t need to… You… It’s just, it helps, you know? I mean, it helped me! My first movie. With Tammy Thompson, you know her? It was a musical, not very good, by the way, but we, um, we practiced, and it helped, and I feel like I’m just making things worse. Am I?”
“You’re not,” Nancy answered softly. Robin’s heart fluttered at the sight. Nancy genuinely looked more relaxed. If there was a hint of nervousness still in her, Robin was about to find out it wasn’t for the reasons she expected. “I don’t think practicing is a bad idea,” Nancy said, stopping Robin’s heart right then and there.
“Really?” Robin managed to ask, despite the lump in her throat and her heart threatening to burst out of her chest. She took a step closer to Nancy, and Nancy imitated her movements. They were finally close enough to touch.
“Really,” Nancy replied, taking another step, prompting Robin to take the final step that closed the distance between them.
Robin could barely believe her eyes. This was really happening. She placed a hand on Nancy’s cheek and melted at the way the actress leaned into the touch. “Okay, superstar. Are you ready?” Robin asked with a bright grin of unbridled joy.
Nancy returned the smile, and added an affectionate roll of her eyes. But her answer was the way she shifted onto her tiptoes and slowly pressed her lips against Robin. She was careful and sweet, and took her time as if needing to memorize every detail. It had nothing to do with the supposedly heated and quick kiss they would be filming that day. Robin had the small suspicion that this practice didn’t actually have a lot to do with their movie, but she didn’t mind. She wrapped her arms tighter around Nancy and lost herself in the kiss.

Welcome to the Forgotten Realms | Hawkins Crew
Prompt: Going Inside a Book/Story
Words: 3166
Fandom: Stranger Things
A/N: Writer’s Month is over, but I’m still going to try and finish this, just three more prompts to go. I’m drawing from my limited knowledge of DnD 5th edition and light research on 1st edition, so if some of it isn’t accurate, how many people would actually know the difference between 5th and 1st? Also, while trying to wrap up the ending, it gave ‘Welcome to Jumanji’ vibes and I pictured a Nigel character popping up, but still looks like Rhys Darby. Lol look at me creating lore for a world that I might not visit again. Or won’t I?
Summary: The older group decides to play DnD, much to Eddie’s delight. A sudden storm cut off the electricity in the middle of a session, but when they looked around to find that they weren’t in Hawkins anymore.
-
Eddie rubbed his hands together gleefully like an evil mastermind as his new friends finished their character sheets. He had minis that he had painted in his spare time that were close enough to what they wanted their characters to look like, each of them standing right in front of each player.
Nancy was more familiar with the mechanics since the kids usually played in the basement, having picked it up quickly and helping the others when they needed it. Jonathan had admitted that Will spoke about their campaigns but never really broke down the mechanics unless he asked him. Robin was catching on, piecing her character together in no time. That left Steve who was frowning at his sheet before sliding it over to Eddie. Dustin had actually helped him build his character beforehand, but he wasn’t sure how to play him.
“Does this look… right?” Steve asked after filling out his character’s backstory.
Eddie leaned over, eagerly scanning through his character sheet and smiled. “Steve, Stevie, Steve-O. I feel like you’ve thought this character through before.”
“Ah, well,” Steve muttered sheepishly, scratching the back of his head with his pencil. “Henderson’s always wanted me to play with them, so… the roleplaying part is kind of… I don’t know.”
“Embarrassing?”
Steve nodded. “This is why I didn’t take drama, man.”
“Well, you should have, or else you wouldn’t be having this problem,” Robin said, giving him a pointed look. “And maybe you would have been less of a douche in high school.”
“Thank you so much, Robin, I appreciated your needed input,” Steve replied sarcastically.
“Hey, everyone’s gotta start somewhere,” Eddie said, patting Steve’s shoulder. “This is everyone’s first game, so we’re gonna take it easy and learn how the game works together. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. DMs love questions, unless they’re dumb.”
“I guess Steve can’t ask anything then.”
“You know what, Buckley, I’m not going to be driving you around anymore.”
“Nice try, dingus. This whole time you still drove me to school and work when you thought I had a license. There’s no way you’re going to suddenly stop giving me rides.”
“Anyways,” Eddie interrupted, “Superior Wheeler. Big Byers. How are your characters coming along?”
“We’re just about finished,” Nancy said.
Jonathan nodded. “Yeah, we figured that it’ll be easier if our characters know each other so we’d have someone to bounce off on.”
“It’s a very common method to do and helps with backstories,” Eddie said, nodding in approval. “What race and class are you?”
“Nance is a high elf ranger and I’m thinking of being a drow rogue.”
“Interesting. Very interesting.” Eddie folded his fingers together and rested his chin on them. “Drows are usually lawful evil aligned, but for my campaigns, I’m not too strict on those things as long as it creates a good story. To have a high elf and a drow know each other, that’s really interesting. Buckley.”
Robin held up her character sheet and shook it. “I think I’ve made it more complicated than it had to be. I made a Forest Gnome Wizard. It’s complicated for me because I just realized how many spells I have to manage. But we’re just level one, right? So, it shouldn’t be that bad for now, but, like, I’ve done this whole backstory that is too similar to Batman.”
Eddie nodded sagely. “Many players, no matter how seasoned they are, have done this. It’s an easy trope to fall on, but if you add your own twist to it, it could work.”
“What if when she talks to animals, instead of the high pitch tone people use, it’s gruffy like a heavy smoker?”
Jonathan snorted. “Is your voice going to be okay after that?”
“See, I made it harder on myself than it should be.”
“What if you made your character’s normal voice high pitched and when you speak to animals it's at a normal pitch?” Steve said, holding back a smile.
Robin scrunched her face. “That’s even worse.”
“I am not going to sit through a two hour session with that voice,” Nancy said firmly.
“Thank you, Nance.”
“Oh! Why didn’t I think of this?” Steve said, facepalming. “The kermit voice!”
“No! I told you to drop that already!” Robin shouted. “What’s your character anyways, dingus? I bet it’s boring.”
Steve glared at her from across the table. “Human Paladin,” he muttered.
“See. Boring.”
“Hey, now. We haven’t started playing yet,” Eddie tried to mediate. “If everyone’s ready, we can begin.” He held his hands out, eyeing them all. When they all nodded, he clapped his hands. “Alright, let me set the scene for you, adventurers.”
-
“Uh, guys, I don’t know if we should be going in a super scary tower without a plan,” Robin pointed out.
“Haunted, too,” Steve added.
“Yeah. Super scary haunted tower.”
“The guy at the tavern said that something strange is happening here. There’s people going missing and no one has ever used this tower in years until now,” Jonathan said.
Nancy nodded her head. “Exactly. Seeing light in the tower around the same time the first disappearance happened? There’s got to be a connection. We have to at least try.”
“Okay, so what do we know about this tower?” Robin looked down at her character sheet, then at Eddie. “With my wizardry background, would I know anything about this place?”
“Roll me a history check with advantage. You’re quite studious and one of the top of your class,” Eddie said, pointing at the D20 in front of her.
Robin nodded, shaking her hand and tossing the dice carefully. She grimaced, then rolled again, the corner of her lips turning up. “That’s an unnatural 20 for history.”
“Good. Yes, you have heard a considerable amount about this ancient wizard’s tower during your studies. He was a promising wizard that grew his power at an exponential rate. The academy was once proud to call him their own, but now they use him as a cautionary tale.”
Everyone leaned forward as Eddie unraveled the lore of the tower’s creator, Nancy furiously taking notes and Jonathan jotting down what stood out to him. Steve sat, memorized, as Eddie’s soothing voice wrapped around him, painting the picture in his mind. Robin nodded along with his words, pausing when she saw Steve staring at Eddie intensely, marking that down in her mental notes for later.
“He realized that the academy was limiting him. The prospect of harnessing dark magic grew more and more tempting by the day, haunting his dreams at night. It became too much when the academy was attacked. Their mistake was thinking that if they shielded their students from the darkness, they would never be harmed from it. As it were, you cannot protect yourself from something you have no knowledge of. The students fell one by one, overcome by power that they could not understand.”
He paused for effect, a thunderstorm with bad timing rumbled outside, causing the lights above to flicker. They all stiffened, looking up until the lights steadied. The younger kids were at Sinclairs, so they weren’t worried about them galavanting. After their stunt last time with the whole Vecna thing and running from the police, the parents of the Party made it a point to take turns having movie or game night at their houses. This also encouraged the older kids to spend more time together.
Eddie exhaled slowly, seeing the others doing the same as they tried to get back to the game. “Until, finally, our wizard fled into the restricted section of the library and poured through its knowledge. He casted a spell so great that it destroyed all of his surroundings, killing every enemy and every friend. There he stood, in the middle of the rubble, without a scratch on him. Though, he felt his blood boiling, his veins turning black, nails extending into claws, and his eyes bleeding. For a moment, his heart stopped. Within that moment, the power of the darkness took over and flooded his body with unsurmountable power.”
“Who is he?” Robin asked quietly, not wanting to break the atmosphere.
Eddie’s brown eyes scanned over the players as he smirked. Just as he opened his mouth, the power went down. There was a collective gasp around the table and shuffling as they reached over to each other to ground themselves.
“The backup generator isn’t kicking in,” Nancy said.
“You guys have a backup generator?” Robin asked incredulously, feeling Nancy stand up next to her. “Where are you going?”
“My dad was so paranoid about Russians stealing electricity all over the country that he bought this expensive generator thing,” Nancy explained, “He’s kind of late on that, though. There should be extra flashlights and candles somewhere over here if the kids hadn’t gotten to them yet.”
“Here,” Jonathan said, flicking on his lighter.
He found Nancy and helped her look through the cabinets for the emergency supplies. Their eyes adjusted to the dim light, not finding anything familiar in their surroundings. Nancy frowned, reaching out to touch one of the side tables. Her fingers touched something and she tugged on Jonathan’s sleeve to come closer. She had found a candle and he quickly dislodged it from the table and lit it up.
“What the hell,” he muttered, touching the wall that was no longer covered in wallpaper, but cold stone bricks. “Guys?”
He turned and saw that Nancy had done quick work in finding the other candles, handing each of their friends one. Steve scanned the area, scanning the dark corners of the room before announcing that it was clear. Robin ran her hands along the walls until she found a wooden torch hanging from a metal sconce. Eddie, being tall enough to pull it out, brought it over to her to light up.
Now, with a brighter light source, the party could see what had become of the room. Eddie stumbled back with wide eyes, convinced for a moment that he had fallen asleep on the couch of the Wheelers basement and would wake up at any minute. Steve stepped towards the table that they were playing at, frowning as he lifted the object that was now on his chair. A sword. A frickin’ sword.
“We’re not in Hawkins anymore,” Eddie mused, looking at Robin.
“No shit,” she muttered, “What is this? This isn’t the Upside Down. No creepy vines or particles in the air.”
“It’s like we were taken into a dungeon,” Jonathan said, joining Steve at the table where he found a traveler’s pack and knives at his seat.
Nancy looked at the new items on the table, their character sheets and minis gone and replaced with their character items and clothing. She gingerly picked up her new crossbow, testing its weight and how to hold it. She turned to Robin who was flipping through a book filled with runes that she couldn’t understand. Robin’s blue eyes widened, her jaw dropping as she scanned through it.
“I understand what this is,” Robin said in disbelief, “I can read this.”
“Holy shit,” Eddie muttered, “Are we in the game? Not the type of level of immersion I was imagining. I was thinking more like LARP or something, but…”
His eyes caught the sight of a thick leather book, replacing his DM notes and Monster Manual. He ran his fingers along the embossing of the cover, a shiver running down his spine as a whisper tickled the back of his mind. So, the others were their characters, he presumed. Steve was a paladin, Robin a wizard, Nancy a ranger, and Jonathan a rogue. He usually played a bard, but this? This screamed warlock. So, who was his patron?
A noise from above jolted everyone from their state of shock, Steve taking position in front of the group with his great sword held at the ready. Nancy grabbed the nearest bolt and took a minute to figure out how to load the crossbow.
Footsteps neared the top of the stone stairs ahead of them, a warm glow leaking underneath the wooden door. Steve gripped the hilt and planted his feet in anticipation before the footsteps moved away. He exchanged a look with Nancy and Jonathan before moving towards the stairs. Robin jerked forward.
“Be careful, dingus,” she hissed.
Steve grimaced and gave her a nod, making his steps light as possible as he ascended. As he drew closer to the door, he began to hear bustling and chatter outside, like a bar or something. He turned to look at the group with a frown, lowering his sword to peek through the crack of the door. It was a bar. Well, some medieval bar. Tavern, as Eddie would describe it.
He made his way back down and described what he saw. They agreed to go up together, changing their outfits and packing their things before moving. With all the weird shit that they had dealt with throughout the years, they knew it was best to just roll with it and find out what’s going on to stop it. Steve was at the front again with Eddie, Robin, and Nancy in the middle, and Jonathan at the back. They pulled over the hoods of their cloaks and walked out, the sound of the tavern hitting them full force.
“Ah, adventurers!” A man with a full blonde mustache exclaimed, getting up from his table with arms spread open. “I’ve been awaiting your arrival. I am Sir Arthur Calthorn.”
“Have you?” Eddie asked, stepping forward.
“Oh, yes, indeed, Edmund the Banished. I’ve sent a letter to your guild for aid. Have you read it?”
“Guys?” Nancy held out a piece of parchment that appeared in her hand towards them.
“No fucking way,” Eddie muttered as Robin took it from her. “This is the exact letter I wrote out for you guys at the start of the game.”
“So, what? We gotta deal with this evil wizard again?” Jonathan asked.
“Precisely, Pentaxl, known by many circles as Ghostwalker for his quiet deposition and silent and quick movements. Nance Swifttaker, the deadliest and most precise shot of all the realms, a pleasure to see you as always. Magenta Silvertongue, genius polyglot and one of the most powerful spellcasters to ever grace the academy.” The man, Calthorn, nodded over to Nancy and Robin before clapping a hand on Steve’s shoulder. “And the brave Steven Oathkeeper, slayer of beasts and protector of man.”
“Why do you guys have cool introductions?” Eddie whined under his breath. Nancy smacked him in the shoulder, shaking her head.
“You must help us with the darkness that threatens to spread throughout the Forgotten Realms. If the darkness spreads, then all of humanity is lost.”
“Cool. This isn’t crazy at all,” Steve muttered, sharing a freaked out look with Robin.
“And what realm are we in exactly?” Robin asked.
“Abeir-Toril,” Eddie answered before Calthorn could say anything. “One of many planets that exists in the Torilian System or the Realmspace.”
“Sharp as always, Edmund the Banished,” Calthorn said, snapping his fingers.
Eddie grimaced. “Don’t call me Edmund.”
“We need to get back home,” Nancy said, bringing back the situation at hand. “We’re not from here.”
“Of course, Miss Swifttaker, but in order to return to your homeworld, you must complete this mission,” Calthorn said, nodding to the letter. “And a key will be granted to you to take you back. Now…”
He clapped his hands and the group was teleported outside of the tavern where horses and a carriage awaited them. They looked around at the bustling and seemingly thriving city that they found themselves in, a steady traffic of carriages through the main road, market stalls lining the other side of the street, layers upon layers of districts passed that, leading up to a grand building in the middle.
“Now, come along,” Calthorn urged, climbing into the carriage. “We will be needing to meet with the counsel before you five set off.”
“Uh, normally I wouldn’t get in the car with strangers, so what’s the call here?” Robin whispered.
“He said that we will be given a key once we stop the darkness or something,” Nancy said, “And it’ll take us home. Unless we find some other way to get back without having to deal with all of this… whether it’s some kind of dream or whatever, we just have to keep moving and stick together. That’s all we can do for now. If we gain more information about this place, we’ll know where to go next.”
“See, this is why Wheeler, sorry, Swifttaker, is the leader,” Eddie said with a grin.
Jonathan nodded sagely. “So, who’s going in the carriage with the guy?”
“I’ll take one of the horses,” Steve offered, “I’m assuming that carriage can only fit four people, so…”
“I’ve got the crossbow, so I’ll take the other horse,” Nancy said.
“Okay, cool, but do you guys really think that we’ll be attacked in the middle of the city?” Robin asked, looking around. “Do you guys even know how to ride a horse?”
“I learned when I was little,” Steve said with a shrug.
Nancy nodded. “Me, too. It was during a rare Wheeler family vacation.”
“Ugh, rich people,” Eddie teased with a roll of his eyes. “I guess us peasants will take the fancy carriage, then. After you, m’lady.”
He held a hand out to help Robin in and did the same for Jonathan, much to his amusement, after Jonathan squeezed Nancy’s hand and kissed her on the forehead. Eddie turned to Steve and smiled.
“Guard the carriage for us, won’t you, big boy?” he said with a wink.
“I don’t know, am I getting a kiss on the forehead, too?” Steve played along.
Eddie’s grin widened. He leaned forward and planted an obnoxiously wet kiss on his forehead before patting him on his reddening cheek. Nancy raised an eyebrow at Steve who looked dazed until she nudged his shoulder. Once everyone was in the carriage and the other two on the horses, the group set off for what Calthorn called the Guild Quarters.
“God, I feel like I’m going to wake up any minute, having fallen asleep because of how boring the campaign was,” Robin said, her eyes darting around out the window.
“Hey, you guys were totally enjoying it!” Eddie protested.
Jonathan sighed. “Just when I thought I’d seen everything.”
The carriage merged into the traffic, being carried away towards the center of the city. Nothing looked familiar to anyone except Eddie, who’s eyes kept getting impossibly bigger the deeper into the city they traveled, seeing the map he made come to life right before him.
“Well, whatever is happening, hopefully this is a cool send off for you three before you leave for college, huh?”
Eddie turned away, feeling something pinch in his mind. A low growl echoed through his brain, a cold feeling like tentacles wrapping around him made him flinch.
“Eddie,” a familiar voice purred.

steve harrington x fem!reader
olivia rodrigo’s new album just released and you were thrilled to listen to it and stream it the whole day.
when you finally got to listen to it, you asked your friends—robin, nancy, and the party, if they listened to it and which ones were their favorites.
robin told you that her top three were hope ur ok, jealousy, jealousy, and brutal.
nancy said she really loved favorite crime.
max said hers was also brutal.
el told you that she played good 4 u and traitor on repeat that hopper had to go into her room to turn it down.
when mike comes over to the cabin he can assure that el does indeed play them on repeat and get pissy about it (but he secretly loves the album, but he wouldn’t let her or anyone know that).
and lastly lucas and dustin are fans of deja vu and 1 step forward 3 steps back. max even told you that they would sing the bridge of deja vu on the top of their lungs.
you slightly laughed at the memory of them telling you about it.
however, there’s one more person that you haven’t talked to about it yet.
steve.
your smile faltered and faded when he came across in your mind.
your feelings for him had deepened over the time and listening to the sour album made it feel like you two had broken up, which in fact, is not true because you were never together in the first place.
suddenly, an idea popped in your head. instead of being sad about steve, you thought about texting him, although it’s almost 1AM, you knew he’d still be up.

Incoming video call...
Sailor Man
you took a deep breath before tapping the green button and placing it back down on the bed.
“hey,” you can tell that he was tired based on his voice. “can you show your face, please? i miss you.”
ignoring the butterflies in your stomach, you hesitantly lifted the phone and shifted your position to lay on your side. “hey.”
“hey yourself.” steve grins. that stupid grin that makes your stomach turn, that grin you always want to see everyday.
“what’s..up?” you avoided looking at him and started to admire your surroundings and the posters placed on your wall. this was the only time you were glad you weren’t with him in person.
“i just wanted to see if you’re okay.” of course he will ask that. he's steve. he cares about other more than himself.
“i am, thanks.” you showed a smile that doesn't reach your ears and steve knew something was bothering you. “hey, look. i'm sorry about my confession- if it made you uncomfortable i'm sorry-”
“no,” you cut him off, looking back at his face on the screen. “i’m fine, really. you don't have to apologize. i was just, surprised.”
there was silence between the two of you for a few seconds, before you spoke again. “did you mean it?” you voice was only above whisper but steve managed to hear them. “of course,” he answered almost too quick, without any hesitation. “i've been trying to find the perfect opportunity and had been asking god for signs because i can't make a move myself-”
“asking god?” you chuckled and steve smiled hearing them, glad that he somehow lightened the mood. “well, more like begging.” he continues and you giggled.
once your laughter died you both fell into silence again. you still couldn’t believe that out of a fun joke, it would turn into a whole another situation. “so, um.. just so you know, i’m not mad, or upset, or anything. i really was just surprised. it felt like a dream because i didn’t know that you like me back and all i did was just supposed to be a fun joke but—”
“hold on, back?”
“what?”
“like you back. you said i like you back.” steve sat up on his bed and fixed his hair as his eyes widened. “i did...” you said slowly, not catching up.
“does that mean you..”
then it hit you. “oh, right. yeah. i- i like you..too.” you waited for his reaction and once you saw him smile you couldn’t stop yourself from doing the same.
“i knew it. and well, i guess that confirms it. we’re dating now. no taking back.” he smirks then laughs when your rolled your eyes. “don’t flatter yourself, harrington. i did not say shit.” you pointed your index finger on the screen, barely containing your giggles.
“based on your beautiful smile i think you don’t need to say it. i like you, and you like me. we’re dating.” steve gives you a teasing smile. you tried keeping your serious face but it won’t last longer so you finally smiled again. “alright, fine. no taking backs. we’re dating.” you said then laughed as he whisper-yelled ‘yes!’ while fist pumping the air.
he soon joined your laughter and you stayed like that until your jaw was pretty much in pain because of your smiles. when it was all quiet again, you both just admired each other’s presence through the screens of your phones. “i wish i was there with you.” he mumbles. “yeah, me too.” you hugged your cold pillow beside you, closing your eyes for a moment and imagining it as steve.
“are your parents home?”
you snorted at his random question. “i’m actually alone right now, they’re out because dad got promoted at his work so he and mom and i think a few friends went out to celebrate. they should be home by an hour or two. why?”
“nothing.” was all he said before hanging up. you were left confused but then he’s your best friend after all, so you knew right then and there that he’ll do something stupid. after you turned your phone off you suddenly felt watching a movie so you went to the kitchen to make some popcorn.
when it was finished and had been put in a bowl, that’s when you heard your doorbell rang—in a pattern which you recognize, and only one person does that.
you let out a quiet laugh when you realized who it was and set the bowl on the counter before opening the door.
“hi!” steve greeted you with a smile. “uh, hi?” you laughed nervously and stepped aside for him to go in. “i smell popcorn, are we having a movie night?” he says as he steps inside and shrugged off his jacket. “actually yeah, i’m planning on watching—”
“tangled.” he finishes off, you subconsciously smiled upon hearing your favorite movie. “how’d you know?”
steve snatches a few popcorns from the bowl as you both arrived in the kitchen. “(y/n), you have watched that movie 7 times this week and always gush to me about it.”
“well, you’re the only one that is around my age that i can talk to with that movie. robin and nancy aren’t that into it.” you replied, grabbing the bowl and making your way back to your bedroom, steve following your heels. “and you think i’m the best option to talk to about that?” he asks, plopping down on your bed and resting his back on the headboard.
“you’re not complaining.” you shrugged as you grabbed your laptop and sat beside steve.
“yeah, probably because i like you.” it came out of his mouth casually. you froze in place and felt your cheeks heat up, finally nodding your head slowly, “..probably.” as you typed in the movie in your laptop you felt steve scoot closer, making your breath hitch.
you were both in a comfortable silence while watching the movie, except for a few jokes and comments that steve makes and him explaining how similar he was to flynn rider.
“you know, since i’m eugene, you could be rapunzel.” he suddenly says. you eyes were still on the screen but your eyebrows furrowed. “why? i’m nothing like her.”
finally looking at steve, you almost screamed how he was already looking at you. “oh, you are so rapunzel. you may not have the longest hair in the world, but you are pretty much similar.” he replies, smiling and not taking his eyes off of you.
you paused the movie and shifted your body towards him, intrigued by his explaination. “how so?”
“well, first off,” steve starts, resting his hands on the soft mattress. “you’re both sweet, you’re both a huge ray of sunshine, have gorgeous eyes and smile, and eugene is head over heels over you — and since he doesn’t exist in real life, i’d like to be the substitute.” he finished with a confident smile.
after about three seconds, you burst out of laughter. you laughed. as much as he loves the sound of your laugh, he can’t help but pout. “(y/n), i’m trying to be sweet here!”
“i’m sorry!- it’s just- i can’t help but laugh at your flirting.” you managed to say between your laughs. you know he’s kidding but he looked at you like he was offended.
your laughter died down and held steve’s face. “it’s cute, sorry.” you mumble with a little laugh. when he finally smiled you turned to your laptop and continued the movie.
steve gazes at you for a few more seconds before watching the movie with you again. “thank you.” you whisper, glancing at him.
“you’re very much welcome, my rapunzel.” he says smiling before he slides a bit down on the bed so his head could reach your shoulder and rests it there.
you giggled as you heard him whisper,
“thank you, olivia rodrigo.”

My Only One — Steve Harrington
Tumblr media
warnings: badly written fluff ??
Summary: Youre sick and alone, in need of your one and only boyfriend. He hasn’t came home and you’re scared he’s cheating on you or doesnt love with anymore.
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Fem! Reader
Lydineo Radio: Cherry — Harry Styles
Masterlist — Requests Open
It was the winter of 1985, Christmas time was coming soon and you were about to spend Christmas with the love of your life, Steve Harrington. Both of you ended up together after the mishap from last summer. It really was just a confession when you two were drugged in the bathroom, which made you guys go out after it. You and Steve never told anyone and kept the relationship a secret. Maybe you two want to love each other without anyone knowing, it was better like that. You two both loved each other so much, you guys were inseparable.
It was one of those nights Y/N was sick, no one came over to check on her, not even her lover. Gosh, she felt so lonely but didn’t want to call him, she thought maybe she would sound clingy. Y/N decided to give her cousin a call.
”Hello?” Dustin’s voice rang.
”Hey,” Y/N choked out, trying to keep from crying,” H-how are you?”
”Fine?” Dustin replied on the phone, “Do you need something?”
”N-no I was just wondering how y-you were doing.”
”Steve’s not here by the way,” He said.
”What?” Y/N puzzled, “W-what do you mean?”
”I know you’re looking for him.”
”N-no.”
”Yes you are,” Dustin started, “I know you love Steve and you want him to stay with you.”
”He’s m-my friend,” She hesitates, “And you k-know I like him, but I just need him.”
Dustin sighed and explained, “Look, I don’t really know where he is. But you’ve got to tell him.”
Y/N already told him, they love each other, she didn’t tell Dustin, “I already did.”
”What?!”
”I told him during the summer,” She confessed, it was getting dark as the stars shined and glistened. Making her eyes look more clear.
”What happened?”
”Well, I-I”
”I’m going to have to kick his ass if he rejected you.”
”He didn’t,” Y/N mumbled, she could already imagine Dustin’s face even though they were on the phone. “We’ve been seeing each other for about 5 months.”
”What?! Really?” Dustin exclaimed, hearing him laugh and jump, “I knew it! I knew it! You guys are made for each other! Yes!”
Y/N laughed thinking of every single memory with Steve. Their first kiss, date, and all those random moments where they treasured the most. Those small road trips to somewhere out of town, the gifts they gave each other, the slow dances in the kitchen, the random I love you’s in between conversations, the singalongs they both shared every night, their cuddles while watching a film, and sharing their own clothes were everything to her, thinking about that made her eyes water.
”Something wrong?” Dustin’s voice snapped out of her thoughts.
”Well, now that you know Steve and I are together, I need him, I’m alone here and sick,” Y/N coughed.
”Oh, I would come over but my mom says it’s late,” Dustin replied, “Maybe I could call him?”
”No!” Y/N yelped, “Don’t! He’s going to think I’m clingy or jealous! Please don’t! I don’t want him to think that and then he’ll probably drop me!”
”You’re scared huh?” Dustin made up, “You’re afraid you’re going to loose him.”
”Yeah.”
”Well you have to talk to him.”
”No. Just,” Y/N trailed off. “Don’t tell him anything.”
”Okay fine, but you have to open up to him, isn’t that all about a relationship? Trust?”
Before Dustin could say anything else, Y/N hung up on him and laid on her side. She began to quietly sob, like the type of sob where you need to hold everything in and not scream to cry. It hurt her heart, why didn’t she trust him? Wasn’t that the whole point? Tears poured over her rosy cheeks and her heart continued to ache. Y/N let out loud sobs that filled the quiet home, the cold made her feel lonely and sad.
~
Steve walked inside his home, realizing it was late, he decided to dial Y/N’s number, no response. He had to help Keith and Robin at the Family Video store for a longer time, forgetting to let Y/N, his lover know. God, he felt guilty about leaving her alone, he knew it was their 5 month anniversary, and they were going to have a nice night together.
“Shit,” Steve mumbled while he slumped on the couch, “I messed up.”
Steve turned to the phone and decided to call Dustin.
”Hey, man,” Steve began.
”Hi.”
”Look, I need your help but you’ve got to understand-“
”I know,” Dustin finished, “You and Y/N are dating. She told me.”
”What?”
”Yeah I know,” He laughed, “You two were obvious, I found you guys making out in your car before you came inside to babysit us.”
”When?” Steve panicked, “Why didn’t you tell us?”
”Last week, and I thought maybe you two wanted it private.”
”Oh okay, well I forgot to tell Y/N that I was going to be working late and she’s probably upset because it’s our 5 month anniversary,” Steve explained.
”She was asking for you,” Dustin muttered, “She didn’t want me to tell you this, but she’s been wanting to call you and know how you are. Only thing is that she doesn’t want to sound clingy and get attached. I heard her crying.”
”Oh, I feel bad,” Steve whispered.
”Go apologize or make her feel special, I don’t know.”
Steve smiled and figured something out, “You’re right, thanks.”
~
Y/N heard the phone chime in her ears, she saw that the phone was ringing. She laid there and didn’t move a muscle, she hasn’t ate anything since she lost her appetite. Her head was throbbing and her body ached, just like that time when Steve helped her get to his house before they started seeing each other. Why did everything remind her of Steve? He was probably cheating on her already, it didn’t matter anymore, maybe he never loved her. No. She snapped out of those thoughts and turned to the side of the lamp, it glowed her goddess-like face.
Suddenly she began to hear footsteps going upstairs. She didn’t lock the door, shit. She was dead already and pretended to be asleep. Then a voice cried out, the voice was familiar to her.
”Love, you have to lock the door.”
Silence. Y/N didn’t bother and faced her back towards him.
”I’m sorry, love. Please,” He pleaded walking over to her on the bed.
”Maybe you were out with someone else,” Y/N managed to speak, holding back her tears, which was unsuccessful and began to sob.
”No, I would never be,” Steve laid on the bed and scooped her from the back. “You’re the love of my life and I can’t stand the thought of loosing you.”
“I-I don’t think you love me anymore,” Y/N wailed and sniffed, dropping a used tissue off the bed.
”What? No, no don’t cry, it hurts me,” Steve begged while he teared up, “I love you more than anything please don’t say that.”
”Well, I feel like we’re drifting apart,” Y/N mumbled and still faced her back to him, “ It gets lonely here without you, I don’t have anyone else, but you. You think I’m a burden and probably don’t want me.”
“Please, just listen to me for one second,” Steve held her tighter, “I’ve always wanted you, only you, even when I dated Nancy. You’re the most beautiful woman, I’ve seen, okay? I- I don’t even have the words to express my love for you. Ever since the day I kissed you in the bathrooms, I knew it was always going to be you.”
Hearing those words come out of his mouth made Y/N’s heart wrench into a spiral of emotions. Making her heat up more than she was with the high fever she had, Y/N turned to face Steve. “Stay with me.”
”You know I will,” He rubbed the tear off her cheek, “It’s not clingy to ask how someone’s feeling, I actually love that. Either way I wouldn’t dump someone because they were attached, you know I love you.”
Steve gently placed Y/N on his chest and kissed her forehead. “You’re burning up.”
Y/N groaned and looked to meet her eyes with his, “Can I kiss you?”
”Why do you ask?”
“....”
”Of course you can, you don’t need to ask,” Steve crept his lips onto hers, gosh, it still feels like that same day they kissed. The sparks flew everywhere, the kiss was gentle, but firm, the warmth on Y/N was heavenly and destroying to her since she was feverish. He pulled away, “I need you to stay here okay? I’ll get you something to make you feel better.”
”No, you don’t need to, I just need you here. I’ve missed you and you’re already the medicine I need,” Y/N hugged him tighter, not wanting to let go.
”I want to take care of you. I love you.”
”Fine,” She huffed bringing a smile on her face and he began sit on the bed. Steve was a sweetheart, he got her a small ice pack, painkillers like the first time he brought her to his house when she was drugged at a party, and her favorite sweets.
Both of them were now laying on the couch, holding each other, Y/N’s head placed on Steve’s chest. They fit like a perfect puzzle, watching a movie together. Y/N felt loads better being with her loved one, and it had been the best anniversary for her.
”Can I tell you a secret?” Y/N peeped, covering her face with the blanket.
”What is it, precious?” Steve pecked her lips and smiled.
Y/N giggled making Steve’s cheeks grew pink and she dug her nose into his neck, his strong yet smooth scent filled her nose, “I love you, more than anything.”
”I think I already knew that secret,” Steve cuddled and held Y/N with a firm grip, but held her like a porcelain doll in his arms. Y/N regretted saying that Steve didn’t love her, he actually loved her more than his heart could ever imagine. Both of them dozed off to sleep in each other’s arms in a hope for sweet dream longing in them With their one and only

Tagged by @disdaidal !!!  Thank you!  Omg I’m like 🥺💖🥺💖
So, I figure since I have so many things I’m working on, and no idea when I’ll actually finish them (outside of my Big Bang Project), I should share the bits of them that I do actually have dhfoiahfiosh
What we have are these:
A fic where Billy meets some older queer people while kicked out, and learns from them how to love himself
“So I’m guessing you’ve never met a queen before,” they said. Billy shook his head.
“I’ve never met any royalty.” Juicy laughed and it made Billy feel like he’d said the wrong thing until she looked at him again, practically beaming.
“Well honey, there’s queens abound in here. Drag Queens, specifically.” Billy’s mouth formed a small ‘o’.
“So, you’re a… man?” Juicy shook her head.
“Personally, I find man and woman too limiting. All gender is a costume, darling. I just think dresses are prettier than suits.”
“You haven’t been in the right suits,” Cindy said with a smirk. Juicy gave her the finger without looking.
“It’s called taste, sweetie.” Cindy just laughed. Billy stared at Juicy, feeling awed by them. They were so tall, toned and beautiful. Their skin was dark and glistened with the glitter they’d spread over it. “I’m sure you have taste, don’t you munchkin?” Billy couldn’t help it and he pouted.
“I’m not short, I’m average for my age,” he snapped. Juicy just smiled.
“I like you,” they said, pointing a long nailed finger at him.
A Cheesy Summer Camp Horror fic, with romance and comedy because Like.  Y’all know me.
“Let’s stop talking about her,” Heather cut in. “Let’s talk about this weekend.”
“This weekend?” Billy asked, perking up. “What about it?”
“Well, I was thinking we could celebrate the end of the first week with a skinny dip,” she said, eyes sparkling. Billy didn’t miss the flush that crossed over Robin’s face, though he wasn’t entirely sure who it was directed at. He definitely had a guess.
“I’m game!” Tommy piped up, grin wide, anger disappearing from his face. Billy rolled his eyes and snorted, but raised his hand, tongue running over his top teeth.
“Why not,” he said, giving his eyebrows a quirk. “I ain’t no pussy.”
“Of course,” Adam muttered, rolling his eyes. Billy’s eyes snapped over and narrowed. “Isn’t it a little, I dunno, juvenile?”
“Oh come on,” Steve chimed in, munching on the cookie now, relaxing with the change of topic. “Maybe so, but it’s summer, it’s camp, why not, right? Start it off with a bang?” His smile was teasing, bright, and Billy found it hard to look away, hard to deny that smile what it wanted.
The Reverse AU where Steve moves to Hawkins with his father and step family, Claudia and Dustin, and Billy was adopted into the Mayfields
“I’m not--! It’s just midterms! That’s what has me all out of sorts.” He opened his notebook and tried to will his blush away. There was a soft thud and Nancy joined them.
“What has you out of sorts?” She asked.
“Mid--”
“Billy so has a crush on that new guy from New York,” Heather said. Billy made a noise of protest when Nancy smiled, leaning over.
“Oh he’s so cute! Truly impeccable taste you have,” she teased. Billy rested his head on the table.
“I hate both of you so fucking much,” he hissed.
“No you don’t,” they chorused.
“I do, I really do,” Billy replied.
Mermaid AU where Steve and Billy were young friends before being separated.  Steve tries to reunite them obviously
“I can show you a bunch of cool stuff,” Billy said, feeling oddly proud of himself. And well, the ocean was his home. And he never got the chance to really show it off to someone who didn’t already know it. “If I show you the ocean, will you tell me more about humans?” Steve nodded. “Like, why are all the ships girls?”
“Huh,” Steve said, tapping his chin with his finger. “I don’t actually know… Usually I think ‘cause a guy names them. I’ll ask my tutor. He knows everything.” Steve wasn’t a huge fan of Professor Owens, but he was nice enough. He let Steve find things to bring in and ask questions about, he didn’t get mad like Steve’s other tutors had when he had trouble reading. So even though Owens still pushed for Steve to focus more on his future, he was better than the other adults in Steve’s life.
“Tutor?” Billy asked. “What’s that?”
“Like a teacher,” Steve replied. “But like… Different.” In fact, Steve wasn’t totally sure what the difference was. Billy just squinted, looking confused.
“Different… how?”
“Uh, tutors are… are taller,” Steve replied matter of factly. Professor Owens was taller than Ms. Joyce had been, so there wasn’t anything to argue against that. Billy nodded seriously, making a note.
There was a ringing bell and a distant voice calling Steve’s name, making him sigh dramatically. It was already time? Billy’s ears twitched a little and he looked at Steve.
“What’s that?”
“That’s my nanny,” Steve said, mopey and pouting.
More of You’ll Find Me Looking Over the Edge of the World
“Oh, King Steve thinking about skipping?” Billy tugged him down, making Steve stumble as a fist started rubbing against his scalp and messing up his hair.
“Fuck, dude!” Steve cried, nearly dropping his tray. Billy just cackled, letting him go and shoving his hands in his pockets.
“No,” Nancy said through grit teeth. “He’s thinking about staying and taking--”
“He can’t go around looking like that,” Billy said with faux concern, eyes all worried as he leaned on the table with one hand and used the other to point at Steve’s, now fully messed up, hair. “I think Steve’ll have to take the afternoon, don’t you?” Billy turned to look over his shoulder, not seeing the way Nancy rubbed at her temples as Jonathan very obviously tried not to snicker. Steve almost felt bad. Billy knocked on the table with his knuckles, pushing up with a grin. “Don’t worry, I’ll get him home safely.”
“Get me home--” Steve began, but before he could finish his sentence, Billy was shoving him around and out of the cafeteria. Nancy sighed, shaking her head, giving Steve a look he knew would turn into a talk later. “Sorry guys!” Steve tossed over his shoulder.
Billy with a rat he named Max to piss off Max (he calls her human Max and she hates it)
“And what the fuck are you doing here?!” He asked her. Max, the little trouble maker, just squeaked at him, wriggling in his grip. “No fucking wonder I didn’t see you in Barbie’s house this morning, you decided to be a fucking Houndini, didn’t you.” She squeaked again, tail swirling and dragging along his wrist. He heard footsteps behind him and moved to shove her back into his jacket sleeve when Steve approached.
“You okay-- Oh!” Steve blinked, brows raised as he saw Max reach with her small, cute little pink hands to grab for Billy’s hard nipple again. “So…”
“Cut that out!” Billy hissed, moving her down to cradle her against his stomach. She settled in, but she was definitely hungry and would get restless again quickly. “I didn’t see her this morning but just assumed she was hiding in her little pile.”
“Me too,” Steve said, checking around the hallway for anyone who was late. Luckily, there was no one around to see them trying to hide a rat in Billy’s jacket. “How’d she even get out?”
“I mean, we are keeping her in a Barbie dream house instead of a cage--”
“Really? You’re gonna sass me now? After you insisted that she ‘live like the princess she is’--”
Stranger Than Fiction AU
“Billy, I swear to fucking god if you don’t get out there right now--” Billy stumbled out from the back, head turned to glare at Max, who was pushing him from behind. She pushed until he was at the counter, face to face with Steve. He glared, though his face was flush. Max crossed her arms. “Like we fuckin’ practiced.” Billy shot her another angry glance, but then looked back to Steve. Who was so confused.
“Max may have, uhm, brought it to my attention that I may have overreacted just the tiniest little bit.”
“That’s not at all right,” Max said under her breath. Billy swatted behind him without looking, missing her completely.
“Anyway,” he pressed on, “I just,” he sighed, pushing an errant curl behind his ear. Steve watched the movement before snapping his eyes back to Billy’s. “I don’t often take the chance to be nice, so I got maybe a little offended.” Max scoffed. “Okay a lot offended,” he said with an eye roll. Steve couldn’t help it; he snorted. Billy’s eyebrows shot up and his eyes lit up, like a kid who just learned Santa was real. Steve blushed, looking away, but he couldn’t hide the smile on his face.
“It’s okay,” he replied, turning back to look at Billy. The sun lit up the stray blonde hairs poking out of his messy bun, making a light halo around him. Steve had to catch his breath.
It was like looking at an angel, vengeful and dangerous, but exciting all at once. His eyes seemed to shine, bright and gleeful, but also full of mischief.
“It’s okay,” Steve repeated, feeling his face heat up more. “I would have taken them if I could. They were amazing.” He smiled, nodding towards the stairs. “I should get to it though. Last day and all.” Something sad briefly flickered over Billy’s face, but it was gone as soon as it was there, and Steve thought he must have imagined it.
“Yeah, good luck,” Billy said. Max was smiling, smug, and she punched Billy’s shoulder.
Leverage AU
“Well,” he said slowly, letting the trio shake off their shadows. “The lab closed.” This isn’t about the kid was the underlying message. “But, what’s happening now is that Mayor Kline accepted a lot of weird bribes. They’re from a company called Starcourt Industries. Now, that’s the name of the mall that opened, Starcourt, but what’s weird--”
“--Is that they didn’t exist for very long before suddenly popping up in Indiana,” Alec cut in. “It reads like one of our companies. General background, seems legit, but I did a lot of poking around most of this stuff leads to loose ends. It took a while to get there, so at first glance…” The group nodded. At first glance everything checked out, and even a little digging would provide a general cover that most people wouldn’t think to look past.
Of course, none of them were most people.
“So who are they?” Eliot asked.
“All of the loose ends lead back to Russia,” Alec said. “But nothing concrete or connected, just more companies that do really general stuff. It goes real deep.” The implications there were discomforting. Alec was a genius, and excelled in his line of work, but this kind of grand scale cover up meant one thing: this was bigger than just a few bad apples in a company. This was a plan.
“So who’s the client?” Sophie asked. Nate pulled up a picture of a grumpy looking man, mustache groomed and eyes hard, but kind.
“Chief Jim Hopper.” That got Parker’s attention, bringing her out of the funk she’d been in since the mention of San Diego and Billy.
“Like, Police Chief?”
“Yep,” Nate said, popping the P. “He’s the one who found the kid, found out there was something going on at the lab. Now, he’s positive something weird is going on. Knows he’s done everything he can to legally take the Mayor down, but the man has a lot of friends in high places, and Jim can’t do anything. And that’s,” he smiled, “Where we come in.”
That’s still merely some of what I have going on, but that’s what I’ll share rn. Anyway, tag me in ur WIPs! I’d love to read them :) tag ur it

WIP Wednesday
Thank you for tagging me @lazybakerart 💗💋
I’ve got two big writing projects on my plate this week lol but one thing I’m kind of indulging is a break-up/getting back together fic that I actually started in this post, but I’ll share what I have so far underneath the cut ~
(and excuse me while I overshare, because I’m still stupidly proud of this The Mummy_au post that I made if anyone wants a taste of that)
Tagging (if you want) ✨ @ghostofjellyfishforgotten , ✨ @smashmouth-hargrove , and ✨ @withoneheadlight
(also just a heads up for the wip below: it’s once again me exploring my own asexuality through Steve, but I don’t know how far I’m going to go into it. Still, that might be a content warning people may need if they’re sex-repulsed 🌹)
Ch. 1
Sex with Billy was fine. Good, even.
When they finally moved past every look and touch being a threat veiled in a tease, Steve enjoyed looking at Billy. He enjoyed looking at Billy and discovering those California eyes already on him. He liked Billy’s hands. The man had beautiful hands; strong, thick fingers but...somehow elegant.
He liked Billy’s body, even though he sometimes worried that the guy seemed determined to break it ten different ways. Cigarettes, alcohol, excessive working out, and sometimes all at the same time.
Sex didn’t always mean Steve got to cum. Usually he didn’t, actually. But he enjoyed Billy’s kisses on his neck, and the taste of his tongue, and - admittedly - he loved just having all of Billy’s attention enraptured on him. Steve didn’t mind taking his dick inside because once he got used to it, that felt surprisingly good. When he managed the pleasurable sparks and sensational tingles that mounted into something explosive, he understood why sex was great. But for the more frequent, calm nights, he’d come to think of it as a weird yet pleasant massage.
So he took it. Because it was easier on his hands and knees, for one, and because Billy had a control complex. And Steve could hide his lack of enthusiasm.
Not to say that Billy was selfish or careless. Far from it, Billy Hargrove was an incredibly doting lover. Big surprise, there. Considering how the guy
Well
Existed.
Steve couldn’t really blame Billy for never noticing that he could go a long time without sex. Because Steve liked resting his hand on Billy’s chest while they watched a show or movie. It didn’t matter how much bare skin he had access to. In fact, the more coverage, the better. A clothed body is better to cuddle with than skin that can get sticky or irritated.
Steve liked kissing. He’d always liked kissing. Kissing was the reason he’d assumed he was like everyone else: the desire to kiss, crushes and girlfriends, masturbating, even the giddiness of sex with someone new.
But something fizzled out very quickly in Steve’s brain. Once hands and intent started moving beneath clothing, Steve just...didn’t want it. Suddenly a lot of things popped into his brain that he’d rather be doing. But he persevered because he loved Nancy, and her blooming sexual prowess and bravery was sexy.
Fun.
Billy was a whole big bag of new with an edge of scary that turned out to be more endearing than Steve thought possible. So it was easy to go like that for a while.
Normal.
Eventually he had to admit to himself that he didn’t like taking showers at 1am because he didn’t enjoy being covered in his own, and Billy’s, sweat. He didn’t like feeling the drips on his skin or the tackiness of too many skin oils on his hands.
He hated admitting to himself that he felt relief whenever Billy went out of town for work. He missed Billy, of course, but a lot of things had begun to snowball together in Steve’s life: changing jobs, managing bank accounts and savings, and there were a lot of truths Steve was facing outside of his relationship.
He was tired. Damn tired. He spent many days off wondering if people in their twenties feel this tired all the time or if it was just him. It must just be him. Because Steve sees Robin just as much as he doesn’t. She’s got goals.
And Billy
Billy has big dreams. He’s ready to work damn hard and already is. That’s why he uses his hefty gas money funds, to travel around. Scout the areas. Steve even drove him to the airport once, so Billy could really gain some distance over the weekend. Expand his network.
As if the universe knew, some bigwig passing through Hawkins on their way to Chicago ran right into Billy. A bigwig looking for a handsome, charismatic, young guy to mentor. It really couldn’t be more perfect than divine intervention. They’re Billy’s inlet to the business. Modeling, acting, freaking UNICEF ambassadorial work if he wants to feel extra important. If he gets big enough to have his face mean something around the world.
Within one conversation, he’s got a business card, and an appointment in a Chicago skyscraper next week to take measurements and do a rudimentary photo shoot. The manager warns him that it’s the agency getting to know him, but like any job interview, it’s his chance to interview them right back. Billy likes that a lot—feeling like he has a stake in something instead of just being a corporate pawn. And maybe he eats right out of the manager’s hand, but it’s still a shot. And he’s taking it.
He immediately goes to Steve’s work, fired up from seeing a future for the first time like he finally got the right prescription glasses. The only caveat is that Billy has to move out of Hawkins, which isn’t even a flaw, really. It’s as close to perfect as life’s ever been for him.
Steve can only listen quietly as he sits at the table in the break room. Because Billy’s got big dreams that are already coming true. Every detail of his enflamed speech is given over pacing feet; he can’t even bother to sit at the table. Billy’s got so much energy he’s already mentally and emotionally out the door.
Steve…isn’t. His mental health has been on a downward slope since before they graduated, and it won’t allow him to reach anywhere. He doesn’t have any dreams to steer him in any direction anyways.
Billy’s rant begins to wind down about what he wants to do; his fire about his dreams and his motivation simmers down to an even boil. Steve’s impressed and already proud of the person Billy will become, but Steve can also hear Billy’s frustration with him and their relationship.
For not keeping up.
Steve’s…kind of never been able to keep up. In bed or in life.
And perhaps the saddest part is that Steve doesn’t even have it in him to fight for it. For them. He doesn’t feel worthy enough to hold Billy back. So he doesn’t.
Billy snaps a little, “Why aren’t you saying anything? I’ve been talking about this for the last two years! Steve?”
He’d gotten distracted by looking at his backpack hanging on the wall. Steve’s throat hurt. Two years? God, it’s really been two years already…
He pinched his fingertips over the table as he began, “Billy, I support you. I know you can get there—wherever it is you want to be. I’m not going to tell you to stop or slow down. You’re going somewhere. But I’m…”
He took a breath to finally say it. “Not. I don’t know what I’m doing, and I don’t think I have the energy to figure it out any time soon. You should go.”
Steve can see the disappointment sinking through Billy’s features. And the anger that he’s so used to throwing up as a shield. Billy has so much energy coursing through him as it is, Steve can’t blame him for swinging right into the direction of livid.
The real surprise comes from how soft he speaks. No yelling. No hitting the table. No wrenching Steve up by his green uniform vest. They were long past those outbursts. Which…really just confirmed Steve’s decision. Billy had come a long way. He could go so much further.
“That’s what you have to say? Just like that…you’re really giving up on us?”
Steve knows he’s gaping like a stupid fish. But it isn’t just like that, is it? Billy’s been revving his engines to get the hell out of Hawkins ever since he got here in the first place. Steve tries to say as much, but Billy cuts him off.
“I thought you’d be excited for this. You should be hauling me out of here to pack my bags.”
Steve tries to offer a small smile, but his voice betrays him. “I thought I kind of am? I didn’t take you for the long distance type.”
It’s not the response Billy wants. That should make Steve feel better than it does; the blatant display that Billy wants more of Steve. His excitement, his attention, maybe his companionship…
Steve doesn’t know what he wants—or rather, he does. That’s the issue. Billy’s wants and Billy’s problems can all be resolved by leaving one critical piece behind.
Steve.
Some more things are said, but Steve doesn’t do well on the spot. Especially when the limelight is Billy. Steve fails the tests and he fails the interview. Billy storms out, leaving Steve at the table, pinching his fingertips white before he unconsciously glances at his backpack again.
The backpack full of apartment lease papers. The papers Steve’s already signed because even with his insecurities, the mornings he woke up to discover Billy spooning him after having returned in the middle of the night were his best days. Because Billy’s silly insistence on hand poured coffee was his favorite drink. Because Billy was funny and weird like an artist and loony like a nerd with his video games, and Steve knew—or at least hoped that—Billy loved him the day he started holding his hand while driving that stupid, loud, beloved Camaro—
Because Steve’s heart was a magnet. It stayed where it landed and tugged back even when pulled away.
All he’d needed was Billy’s autograph to be given the keys. Keys to the rest of their lives, if Billy wasn’t already so far away.
Ch. 2
Robin gripped Steve’s arm, hard. A gargled sound escaped him as he grimaced and tried to pry her hand off. Her other hand pointed at one of the catalogues on the store’s many counters. When he invited her with him to pick out glasses, he hadn’t expected to walk out of the freaking optometrist’s office with bruises…
Nor had he thought he’d see a familiar face in the catalogue. Plenty of models were looking editorial chic, advertising that anyone could look as good in whatever glasses they chose.
Except Billy really did look good. The picture was just a vague image outside, the camera focused on Billy’s three-quarter profile gazing off past the photographer.
“I didn’t expect him to actually be working this fast,” Robin admitted. “It’s been…what? Seven months, give or take? I thought casting calls for models were competitive.”
“Not if you look like Billy,” Steve huffed with a quiet mixture of humor, sadness, and just a sprinkle of spite. A sprinkle of jealousy, if he was being honest with himself. The self-help book tucked under the covers of his bed talked about honesty. So he admitted honestly, “He looks that good and knows how to stand out in a room…good for him.”
He could see in his periphery Robin looking up and scrutinizing him. “Really?”
Steve shrugged with a nod. “Yeah. What’s the other option? Him struggling for work?”
Robin sighed and plucked a display set of glasses at random to try on and occupy herself. “That’s big of you, but everyone wants something cathartic. It’s annoyingly impressive that he landed the front cover of a magazine in less than a year.”
Steve opened the catalogue to give them both a reprieve. “You wanna get food after this? Take your mind off the audition?”
For all the good being a band geek did, Robin had experienced her own humbling experiences over the last few months. Like failed auditions to be in city orchestras. She and Steve were feeling very stuck in Kansas while Billy gallivanted around Oz.
• • • • • • •
The plot gets messy because years will actually go by, and Steve and Robin get married so that they can share insurance benefits (and be safe in their bi/lesbian open relationship, buy a house together, etc. It’s the life/happiness security Steve wants but obviously there aren’t any romantic feelings).
Of course this is when Billy happens to reenter Steve’s life. He’s got some hot-shot model he’s been seeing, and apparently Steve is married so there’s the added dash and twist of ~ cheating ~
I’ve been in some kind of mood, all right.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading lol.

Evil Russians
Pairing: Steve Harrington x reader Genre: angst, fluff, smut Warnings: SPOILERS FOR SEASON THREE, evil Russians being evil, smutty fun time  Summary: After secretly liking each other for so long, it’s only fair that they confess after being held captive by evil Russians.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a senior in high school, I’d say I’ve accomplished quite a bit. I mean, I can’t really tell anyone about these accomplishments but they happened and I feel, well, accomplished.
It is a little weird being friends with middle schoolers, but they’re very cool middle schoolers!
Anyway, now everything is calm and peaceful. Plus, it’s summer! Summer is literally the best. Though, I had to get a job. And, of course, the king himself helped me to get a job. Scoops Ahoy is actually pretty chill, literally and figuratively.
The best part is I get to hang out with Steve, my crush since freshman year.
I’ve been best friends with Nancy since we were practically in diapers. We grew up together, seeing as how I live across the street. When she and Steve started to become a thing, my heart was practically ripped from my chest.
I didn’t have the heart to tell her that I have feelings for it. Mainly because my heart is no longer in my chest because it’s been ripped out.
Thanks to her though, Steve and I became friends. So, I guess I can thank her in that aspect.
When they broke up though, I had never been happier. I couldn’t tell them that though, but I was. We were all still a team though, working to defeat evil.
When Nancy got with Jonathon, I finally told her about my feelings for Steve. She felt like a jerk but I told her it wasn’t her fault, seeing as how I never told her till now how I felt about him. I’m just glad I have someone to go to when I want to rant about Steve.
Anyway, Steve got me the job and we’ve only gotten closer. Plus, I gained Robin as a new best friend. Steve lowkey hates it but I don’t care. Robin is really cool and I don’t see why he can’t see that.
As of right now, Scoops Ahoy is as chill as ever. Steve and I are on our break right now, hiding in the back and eating ice cream. Steve gets up and starts to head to the front when he hears a familiar voice, his face lighting up. He slams the door open and shouts, “Henderson!”
I quickly stand up as well, dashing upfront with a big grin.
“You got the job!”
“I got the job!”
“Toothless!” I screech as I appear upfront, running to him to hug him. He groans as he returns the hug, playfully scowling at me.
“I told you not to call me that anymore,” he whines as he pulls away, smiling as Steve comes up to do their handshake.
I giggle and shake my head, going around the counter to get him some ice cream for the munchkin. “How many children are you friends with?” Robin teases Steve. I snort and playfully elbow her as I start to scoop ice cream up for Dustin.
We then all sit down in a booth, Dustin beaming as I hand him his ice cream. “You’re a goddess,” he whispers to me, licking his lips as he eyes the ice cream before digging in.
He then starts telling us about his girlfriend, my heart soaring for the little dude. Things take a turn when he starts telling us about the Russians. I was intrigued instantly.
Steve was not though. He had trouble believing such a thing, despite what he’s seen and done. That is until Dustin started telling him that they’d be American heroes and get all the girls they want. I hide my frown by eating some of Dustin’s ice cream which he didn’t mind at all.
That’s when the chaos issued. We spied around the mall looking for suspicious people, following one dude who ended up just being a pilates instructor or something.
We then started to decipher the message that the Russians were using to talk in secret code. Man, without me, they’d be completely lost and would’ve gotten nowhere.
We then got the annoying girl to climb into a vent and let us into the storage unit the evil Russians are using. That ended up being an elevator. And that ended up trapping us underground.
Then, one thing led to another and now, I’m tied up in a room by myself.
I don’t bother shouting for help, knowing it’s pointless. A general came in and started to interrogate me, trying to ask who I work for and basic kidnapping the enemy questions. Not to brag or anything, but I’m a great liar. I told them, unknowingly, exactly what Steve told them.
With each lie, they slap me across the face. I bite back my tears, laughing instead to appear strong. Or crazy. Either is fine in this situation. Eventually, they had enough of me and left, probably to interrogate Steve.
After sitting in the uncomfortable chair for who knows how long, two men come back into the plain room and pick me up. They then continue to drag me to a different room, throwing me into it. Luckily for me, and not so lucky for Steve, I land on top of him.
Not that he would’ve felt it, seeing as how he’s knocked out. My heart breaks at the sight of his swollen face and all the blood. I call his name as I lightly shake him, feeling myself on the verge of tears.
As soon as the general comes in, I start to yell at him, asking him what he did to Steve. He slaps me across the face for the nth time, my already lightly bruised and red cheek feeling the sharp sting.
A man then picks me up, practically throwing me into a chair and starting to tie us up. I struggle as I call out to Steve.
“Steve! Steve, can you hear me? Steve, wake up! Hey, don’t touch him!”
The men leave after I spit in the general’s face, smiling cheekily at him. As soon as they’re gone, I start trying to wake up Steve again.
He wakes up eventually, my body relaxing a bit knowing he’s okay. “Steve! Oh, thank god! Okay, I have a plan!”
He smiles to himself, lightly shaking his head. You always have a plan.
I explain the plan to him, hearing him agree that getting the scissors is smart. We start to hop over towards them before falling over, my eyes tearing up.
This is hopeless. We are legit going to die. Here of all places. After everything we’ve been up against. This is what kills us.
My body starts to shake as I cry, biting my lip hard to try and get me to stop.
Steve starts to laugh, turning his head to try and look at me. “Are you laughing?” he asks while chuckling.
I then sniffle, his laughter instantly dying.
“Hey, woah. What’s with the tears, Shortcake?” he says lightly. I smile at the pet name, my crying calming a bit. He started calling me that for two reasons.
1. I’m shorter than him
2. Strawberry Shortcake is my favorite ice cream flavor to eat while working
“It’s just...I can’t believe I’m going to die in an evil Russians’ basement with you. After everything we’ve been through. That’s just insane.”
He chuckles a bit, shaking his head. “We aren’t going to die here. As you said, we’ve been up against much, much worse.”
I calm down at the sound of his voice, biting my lip. “Can you...talk some more?” I whisper, sniffling again.
Steve goes quiet and I start to blush. That’s so stupid. I go to tell him sorry and that I’m stupid when he starts to talk.
“Do you remember in gym class when the boys were playing basketball and that stupid Hargrove guy kept smacking the ball out of my hand and shoving me to the floor?”
I sniffle once more and nod my head, wishing I could wipe my face. “Yeah, why?” I ask softly.
He laughs as he starts to shake his head, smiling as he recalls the day.
“After the game was over, you marched right up to Hargrove and challenged him to a one on one game. Everyone thought you were way out of your league. You only played basketball in sixth grade and absolutely hated it. But you challenged him anyway.”
I close my eyes and picture it, remembering it like it was yesterday.
“You said whoever gets a basket first wins. He was so cocky, smirking at you as he stared down at you with his stupid, flirty eyes.”
You laugh at the last part, feeling much better than before.
“One of his ugly friends through the ball up for you both. Billy didn’t even bother jumping. He just let you get the ball, smirking that horrible smirk of his. As soon as you started running towards your goal, he followed after you.”
You start to smile more, waiting for the climax of the story.
“He ran in front of you when you reached the free-throw line, jumping to block your shot. Your sly self faked the jump and then jumped as he came down. You shot that ball right into the net and left everyone speechless. You then sashayed away from him with a proud smirk on your face, right over to me.”
I let out a happy sigh, reminiscing on the face Billy had when I faked him out and made the shot.
“It was one of the hottest things I’ve ever seen you do.”
I instantly go speechless at that, my jaw hanging open. “That, out of all things, is the hottest? What about when I took your spiked bat from you and hit the Demogorgon right in the face? That did nothing to you?”
He laughs loudly at your response, nodding his head even though you can’t see him. “No, no. That’s hot too. I can’t brag to people about that though.”
He once again renders me speechless. Does he brag about me to people? When I don’t give him a response, he keeps going.
“(Y/n), there’s something I’ve been mea—”
Just then, the evil Russians return with their doctor. They give us some weird looking blue shot and then leave again. Steve and I sit there for a long moment, trying to figure out if we feel any different.
That’s when we start acting like crackheads on steroids.
“You know earlier when I called you hot?” Steve asks while giggling like a fool.
I giggle and nod my head, laughing harder when I remember that he can’t see me.
“Yeah,” I say after I calm down my laughter.
“Yeah, well, you’re like really hot,” Steve says as if it’s the funniest thing he’s ever said in his life.
I giggle at his words, finding him absolutely ridiculous. “Oh yeah? Well, I think you’re insanely hot,” I argue.
He calms his laughter to chuckling to reply to me. “Yeah, well, I think you’re, like, crazy hot.”
It then goes back and forth like that until we are interrupted again. The general and his men come back, trying to ask us questions again. We once again give them nothing, only angering the general more.
Alarms then start to go off. I can already tell that Steve is smirking up at the general. Everyone except for the doctor runs out. I start to mock the siren, making Steve laugh and the doctor to get annoyed.
It didn’t take long for Dustin to bust in and shock the doctor, sending him crippling to the ground.
“Henderson!” Steve shouts happily at the same time I call out, “Toothless!”
The young boy then goes about rescuing us, bringing us to a movie theater. I happily munch on the popcorn as we watch the movie, completely confused as to what is going on. I go to take a drink of the soda we got when I realize it’s empty.
Steve drank it all.
“Stevie!” I whine too loudly, making people shush us. Steve and I turn around and shush the people right back, making us giggle. I then get up to go get something else to drink, Steve following right after me. I drink from the water fountain for what felt like forever until Steve was complaining that he wants some too.
I pull away and step to the side, allowing Steve to drink from the fountain. He pulls away after a moment and complains that he has to pee. I snort at him as we walk to the restrooms, saying dumb stuff on the way.
I sit in one of the stalls as he pees, making fun of him for the way it sounds. Out of nowhere, we both feel sick. I lean over the toilet and empty my insides into it, hearing Steve doing the same thing. I groan as I hold my head, flushing the toilet. Steve didn’t sound any better than I did.
Once we start to feel better, we start to talk again. We mainly talked about all the stupid stuff we said while drugged. We laugh afterward, eventually calming down and falling silent.
“Hey, (Y/n),” Steve calls softly from his stall.
I look up towards his stall as if I can see him. “Yeah?”
It’s silent for another minute until he speaks. “I don’t know if you remember or not...but back in the evil Russians’ basement, we kept going back and forth about how the other is hotter. Um...”
He trails off again, making me frown. I can feel a blush settling on my cheeks at the memory, mentally moving that memory to my longterm memory. I never want to forget that moment.
“Before the evil dudes came back, I was going to tell you something,” he says softly. I remain quiet for a long time, my heart starting to race. Is this going where I think it’s going?
“(Y/n), I like you,” he whispers so softly that I have to strain my ears to hear it. My jaw unhinges to the floor I’m sitting on, staring at the stall wall in shock. I almost yelp when he suddenly slides under the wall, looking at me with furrowed brows as he waits for my response.
I guess I take too long because he quickly starts to back-peddle, a dark, embarrassed blush coming to his face. “Oh, uh, sorry! Please ignore that. Oh jeez, sorry. I-”
“Harrington, shut it. If we both didn’t just puke up our intestines, I’d kiss you right now.” That definitely makes him stop rambling, a wide grin coming to his face.
“Can I kiss you anyways? I’ve been dying to kiss you for the longest time,” he begs. Your nose wrinkles as you stand, dusting yourself off before offering him a hand. He takes it and you help pull him up as you respond.
“Not happening, pretty boy. As soon as we brush our teeth, I’m all yours. Until then, how about a hug?” I offer.
He grins brighter than the sun as he quickly wraps his arms around my shoulders, my arms going around his waist. We start to crack up when someone comes into the restroom and sees us standing in the open stall hugging.
Once we defeat the mind flayer, a heavy weight left my body. We defeated a new enemy, hopefully for good this time, and Steve and I confessed to each other.
I don't think I've ever felt happier. Steve insists on taking me home after the ambulance checks us out, giving us permission to go home. I accept, wanting to fall asleep in his arms.
Unlike Nancy's parents, my parents are pretty chill and don't care that I have a boy up in my room. They trust me, so they trust my decisions. They just want him to be gone by a certain time and to keep the door open, but other than that, they don't really care.
I let Steve take a shower in my shower while I go to take a shower in my parent's room. Before I go to take mine though, I get some of my dad's clothes for Steve to borrow. I let him use his pajama pants, that have strings that he can tie tight seeing as how they are two completely different sizes, and a random, old shirt.
I come back to my room and set the clothes on the bed for him, letting Steve know before going to take my shower. Halfway through my shower, I curse myself for being so dumb.
I got Steve a change of clothes but forgot my own. Gosh, it's like something out of a cheesy romance movie.
I finish up with my shower and wrap the towel around my cold body, grunting as I quickly go to my room. My parents are downstairs watching a movie, so I didn't have to worry about them seeing me.
I just had to worry about Steve.
I was hoping that I could beat him to my room and get dressed before he finished his shower but when I open the door, Steve is fully dressed and lounging on my bed playing on his phone.
"Man, girls take such long showe- oh..."
My face goes vibrant red as we make eye contact, my heart lurching up to my throat. We stare at each other for a long moment before his eyes starting to wander, looking at the water droplets that are dripping down from my hair onto my bare skin.
He clears his throat before quickly turning away, rolling over on the bed to give me some privacy. "Sorry," he says softly. I smile at his apology, giggling as I head over towards my dresser.
"For what?' I tease, getting out pajama shorts. I toss those on the opposite side of the bed before closing that drawer and pulling out another one. I get out a pair of old underwear before pausing, biting my lip. I put them back and pull out a pair of my nice, lacy panties.
Just in case.
Steve starts to stutter at my question, not really sure what he's apologizing for either. I chuckle at his stuttering, walking to my closet and getting a hoodie out. I decided to skip on the bra seeing as how we are just going to be chilling in my bed.
"I'm just teasing," I reply as I walk to my bed, making sure Steve's back is to me before dropping my towel. I see him tense when he hears the towel, hit the floor. I quickly slip on my panties before slipping on my hoodie, sliding my shorts on last.
"You're good," I say as I pick up the towel to dry my hair. He slowly rolls over to look up over at me, smiling when he sees me.
"What?" I ask with my own smile, a blush growing on my face.
"Nothing, nothing. You just...you're so beautiful," he whispers, smiling like the dork he is. My blush only gets worse, playfully hitting him with my towel.
"Shut up! You're just trying to get into my pants!" I jokingly shout, making sure to be quiet enough so that my parents don't hear me. He laughs in response, tugging me onto the bed. He pulls me flush against him, smirking down at me.
"Maybe," he jokes, looking serious as he says it. I stare up at him wide-eyed, trying to think of a good response. With our bodies pressed so closely together, I began to wonder if he could feel my pounding heart against him.
Before I can think of anything a moment more, his lips meet mine. All coherent thoughts leave my mind after that. I hum into the kiss, slowly deepening it. He hums back when he feels my tongue slide out, gratefully accepting it into his mouth.
We make out like that for a while, simply holding each other as we let our mouths explore the other's. After a while, our hands start to wander. His hands slip under my hoodie, staying respectfully on my hips. I internally groan at how much of a gentleman he is, wanting him to take charge and ravish me.
I pull my hands away from his abdomen to pull his hands to my breasts, moaning when he gets with the program. He flips over me, squeezing my breasts as he pulls away from my mouth to kiss down my neck. I pant as I stare up a the ceiling, trying to wrap my head around the fact that we are actually doing this. The amount of times I've daydreamed in class or have woken up wet from a wet dream of him is ridiculous.
Finally, those dreams are coming true.
I moan louder when one of his hands leave my breasts to go to my heat, rubbing me through my panties. He brings his head away from my neck to look down at me, shushing me gently.
"You have to be quiet, baby. The door is open and I'd rather not be shot by your dad if he catches us in this position."
I nod my head, taking a deep breath as I bite onto my lip. "Have you ever done...this before?" he whispers to me as his fingers rub over my clothed clit.
I shake my head as I let out a shaky breath, my hands tightly gripping my covers. "No...not with someone else, anyway..." I reply sheepishly. His eyes widen at my words, for many reasons.
For one, he's glad that he'll be the first one to be with me. Second of all, not with someone else but with...
He smirks devilishly as he pieces it together. "Do you have toys?" he asks in a new tone I've never heard before. It's deeper, darker.
"I, um, uh..." I stutter out, trying to find a good way to deny his accusations.
He practically growls as he moves my panties to the side and slips a finger inside of me. "God, I knew you were hot but this is just insane," he says lowly as he pumps his finger.
"I can imagine you lied out on your bed, pumping one of your toys in and out of y-"
I quickly tig him down to keep me from moaning. Dirty talk is one of my weaknesses. A sound leaves his throat as he slips another finger inside, making me moan against his lips. He takes the chance to slide his tongue into my mouth, his free hand pinching one of my nipples. My head gets dizzy at all the different sensations, my body starting to shake.
Before I can stop myself or warn him, I'm cumming. I cover my mouth as I do so, knowing I'll end up being loud.
His eyes widen as he watches me, his fingers slowing down as I clench around them. After a couple of seconds, he feels his fingers get wetter and hears the squelching noise increase as he moves his fingers.
He pulls his fingers out slowly with wide eyes, watching his fingers retreat from my core. He opens and closes his fingers, watching the strings of my juices drip down his fingers and make his hand even dirtier.
I watch him with half-lidded eyes, my breathing making my chest rise and fall rapidly. He slowly brings his fingers to his lips, making eye contact with you as he licks at his fingers.
I can't help but moan, shaking my head as my hips jolt up towards him. I bring my hand to his pants, palming him through his bottoms. He stops licking his fingers at that, grunting as he looks down at my hands.
He bites his lip as he wipes his hand on his pants before slipping them off. I gape when his member springs free, hitting his abdomen. I forgot he's not wearing any underwear. I mewl at the realization, bringing my hand to his hard member to start pumping it.
He bites his lip as he watches my hand move, his body tensing. I then bring my hand to my mouth, licking from my palm to my fingers before bringing my hand back. My hand now easily glides up and down, his hips jutting forward occasionally.
After a couple of minutes of giving him a handjob, he shakily pulls my hand away. He brings his hands to my shorts, looking up at me through his long hair.
"Can I?" he whispers, voice thick with want. I quickly nod my head, wanting nothing more. He slowly slips my shorts and panties off, groaning at the sight of my dripping heat.
"God, you can't be real," he groans, pumping his member as he stares at my opening for a moment before looking up into my eyes.
"Condom?" he whispers, smiling when he sees my flushed cheeks. I always get flustered so easily. I gulp at his question and shake my head, licking my lips.
"No. I didn't exactly think that I'd be having sex with Steve The-Hair Harrington," I joke, my voice shakey from excitement. His face falls at my words, quietly cursing.
He starts to pull away from me, okay with doing oral, before I stop him. "Hey," I say softly, bringing his eyes to mine. "I trust you," I whisper.
His eyes widen, his body going rigid. "I...you...what?" I giggle at his stuttering, running my hand through his hair.
"I trust you. Just, please, don't cum in me," I tease. His face breaks out with color, making me giggle more. He nods his head though and brings his hips down, rubbing his member through my slick to get himself wet enough to not hurt me when he pushes in.
When he finally does though, both of us can't help but moan. He then starts to thrust nice and slow, wanting it to be slow and sensual for our first time. We smile softly at each other before we start to kiss, this kiss being as slow as his thrusts.
Even with the slow pace, I cum quickly. I'm not used to this in any way and plus, I've already came once, so I'm sensitive. He moans quietly when he feels me clench around him, knowing I came again.
He hisses as he gets close, quickly pulling out and jacking off until he cums on my stomach.
We pant as we stare at each other with lidded eyes, Steve slowly falling to my side.
"Great. Now, I'll have to shower again," I joke as I cuddle into him, making him chuckle and kiss my forehead.

Never Have I Ever
Steve x reader
SMUT! Oral (female receiving)
During a game of never have I ever, Steve admits he's never eaten a girl out before. You offer to teach him.
Enjoy x
Tumblr media
You were in the middle of a game of never have I ever. It had started out simple enough, never have I ever broken my arm, never have I ever fallen off my bike... Idiotic stuff like that.
And when Nancy said 'never have I ever kissed a girl' she had thought she was asking a question just as silly and uniteresting as the ones before that.
But when not only Steve and Jonathan but also you and Robin took a drink, interests had been piqued. The tension in the room had shifted as more than one eyebrow was raised.
Jonathan and Nancy knew Robin was into girls, they'd all gotten really close over the summer, after everything that had happened. But you were the loose canon here.
Steve quirked his eyebrow at you, an expression on his face that was asking for some elaboration on your end. The two of you had kind of started dating very recently and clearly had not talked about everything you'd done in the past.
You shrugged. "I taught her how to kiss" you said with a nod to Robin. It was dead quiet for a second before Robin and you both burst into laughter when you saw the three open mouths staring back at you.
"What?" you giggled. "I'd had my first kiss, she hadn't. She was nervous she'd be shit at it, so I thought her how. Just helping out my best friend."
The game had definitely changed after that, the air became more charged and so did the questions. You were venturing out into more risqué territory and there was an exciting sort of electric hovering between you.
"Never have I ever had a one night stand." Jonathan said quietly when it was his turn, he'd warmed up to all of you but this game was still a wide stretch from his comfort zone.
Only Steve took a sip. No news there, but his cheeks became a little pinker anyway. Looking back, his whole 'King Steve' routine embarrassed Steve, he couldn't believe how cool he'd thought he was when he was actually just being an absolute dipshit.
"Never have I ever given a blow job." Robin grinned as both you and Nancy lifted your beer bottles to your lips. You were up next and your question lay entirely in line of Robin's previous one. "Never have I ever eaten a girl out."
If Jonathan had looked uncomfortable during the previous questions, it was nothing compared to how he looked now as he took a quick sip of beer and avoided eye contact with everyone.
You couldn't help but giggle quietly at his beet red cheeks, but as you looked around you saw that he was not the only one blushing. Steve's cheeks had grown steadily more pink as his bottle was still standing on the carpet next to his leg.
Nancy was the first to catch on as her eyebrows nearly shot up into her hairline. "You've never...?" She sounded more genuinely surprised than anything else. Steve scratched the back of his head, something he always did when he felt self-conscious.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything bad by that or anything, I'm just surprised" Nancy followed up quickly. It was quiet for just a moment before Robin asked the question you were all thinking of, but felt was too indelicate to ask.
"Dude, why not?"
Steve chuckled, which lightened the tension in the room. You were all leaning in slightly, curious about what he was going to say next.
Steve's cheeks had officially gone as pink as they could possibly go as he said "Well, I was kind of a shit in highschool. I mean, it's not like I only cared about me but I usually did well enough at the other stuff" he grinned cheekily, making you, Robin and Nancy roll your eyes collectively.
"And also, I was like really insecure about that stuff. Like, if I sucked, it would be all over school. It totally would've ruined my rep."
He chuckled again at how idiotic that seemed now. Sure, having that go around school would've sucked, but had he really cared so much about that shit so little time ago?
Suddenly, he burst out laughing. He laughed so hard he tumbled backwards and clutched his sides because his stomach hurt. You were all looking at him in confusion, but after a while his laughter became infectious and soon you were all rolling on the floor laughing.
No one knew why you were laughing but every time you calmed down long enough to look at each other the look on the other's faces made you howl again.
Finally you managed to catch your breath long enough to ask Steve what the hell was so funny, which just made everyone giggle louder. Steve sat up for a second to catch his breath.
"I was just such a douchebag back then" he wheezed.
You looked him in the eye before both of you went completely of the rails again. You had no idea how long the fit lasted, but by the time you had all stopped giggling you were exhausted.
After a while, Robin got to her feet. "Well, it's been fun guys, but I've got work in the morning so I better go. Lots of ice cream to sling" Robin cheered ironically.
"Yeah, we're gonna take off too. See you guys later" Nancy smiled as she and Jonathan put their empty bottles down on the counter and grabbed their coats. Soon, you and Steve were alone in the room, picking up empty bottles and throwing out pizza boxes.
Steve was standing behind your counter, pouring himself a glass of water. You walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist. "Tonight was fun" you whispered. He chuckled and chugged down his water.
"Yeah, it was, but I could make it even more fun" he said cockily before spinning you around so he had you pinned against the counter.
You squeeled in surprise at the sudden movement, only making the cocky expression on his face worse. He leaned down and took you face in his hands.
"You're gorgeous, you know that?" he whispered before closing the gap between your lips and kissing you softly.
The kiss was slow but intimate as your bodies were pressed together against the counter. You snaked your arms around his neck, tugging at the back of his hair, silently begging him to deepen the kiss.
Steve happily obliged. He grabbed you by the waist and lifted you up onto the counter. Moving in between your legs as he let his hand wander through your hair, the other pressed firmly against the small of your back. His touches were setting you on fire.
You tugged at the back of his hair harder, pulling a moaning from his lips that sent a shiver down your spine. He pulled away from your lips to plant tiny sloppy kisses against your collarbone. You threw your head back as he moved his kisses slowly down your neck.
His lips reached a point at the base of your neck that made you moan. You could practically feel Steve grin against your skin before he started suckling at that spot. He was sure that he'd leave his mark on you, the thought turned him on more than he cared to admit.
He etched his tongue over the spot slowly, making you moan out his name loudly. He let go of your neck and rested his forehead against yours.
"Shit Y/N, that was so hot." He smiled at you adoringly, rubbing the tip of his nose against yours before plunging his lips back down on yours in a fevery kiss.
"Hey Steve?"
you asked, panting between pecks.
"Yeah?"
Steve barely broke contact with your lips while he answered you.
"That uhm, that thing we were talking about earlier..."
you had to break up your sentence for a soft groan as Steve's lips had found your neck again.
"Mhm" he moaned in acknowledgement.
"I... I could teach you if you'd want to"
The kisses on your neck ceased as Steve pulled away from you quickly. His eyes were wide and the pink hugh on his cheeks had returned.
"Really?" he whispered. "I mean, only if you wanted to, obviously" "Yeah!" he said quickly "I mean, yeah, that, that would be amazing. But, I mean, are you sure you're up for that?"
You grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in for a soft, sweet kiss. "You're the sweetest thing, Steve Harrington. Yes, I'm up for it."
The grin that broke out on Steve's face was adorable, he looked like a kid on Christmas morning. He gave you one last excited kiss before dropping down to his knees. You kicked off your sneakers as he undid your jeans, pushing them down your legs slowly.
He pressed a kiss to the inside of your thigh, making you moan. He slowly kissed a trail up the inside of your thigh, inching closer and closer to your panties while rubbing lazy circles on your thighs with his thumbs.
His touch felt so overwhelmingly good already that you couldn't imagine what it would be like when he was actuakly going down on you, but the thought of it made your cheeks heat up.
"Steve" you yelped as his nose rubbed against your clothed core. He rubbed his thumb over you sofly, feeling your wetness sipping through the fabric.
"Damn."
His breath hitched in his throat. The dorky yet loving look on his face made you giggle quietly, Steve was such a softy... And you loved it.
Steve placed his hands on the waistband of your panties. "Is this still okay?" he asked. You smiled down at him. "More than okay" you nodded, biting your lip.
"You're so gorgeous, darling" Steve smiled and pressed one last kiss to your thight before pulling down your underwear.
"Holy shit" he said, more to himself than anything else. You were a little embarrassed at how wet you were for him but Steve thought you looked like the most intoxicating thing he'd ever seen.
Tentatively, he licked a stripe up your folds. It made you hiss a little at the sudden contact, but damn did it feel amazing.
"Shit, Y/N, you taste so sweet..." Steve smiled contently. He made eye contact with you, silently asking for your permission to continue and you nodded eagerly.
He started licking up your folds again, firmer this time. "Like this?" he asked breathlessly. "A little to the left" you instructed and he complied quickly.
"Shit Steve, that feels so good."
He loved hearing you praise him, it made him feel all warm inside knowing that he was the one making you feel good. He pulled you closer to him and buried his face between your thighs.
The friction of his tongue agaisnt you made you gasp and squirm under his touch. He smirked and gripped your hips to secure you in place. It wasn't long before you were a moaning mess beneath him.
He started rubbing your clit with his thumb while his head was still firmly lodged between your legs.
"Steve!" you yelled out loudly. You entangled both of your hands in his hair which made Steve moan aginst you. Steve's lips made his way to your clit. Trailing his tongue over the sensitive nub achingly slowly.
"Steve, holy shit" you whined and pulled on his hair, you needed him to stop teasing you. When he did it again you had to fight the urge to wrap your legs around his head and draw him in closer.
"Please, baby, stop teasing me. Please, Stevey" you begged him as your fingers were desperately writhing through his hair.
He knew in that moment that he would do anything to hear you beg for him again.
"Patience, darling" he grinned before he dragged his tongue across your clit one last time, even slower this time. You whined loudly and pulled him up by his face roughly.
"Steve, I'm not dicking around here. I need you. Please stop being such a tease, baby" you pleaded desperately.
"You are so goddamn perfect" he smiled before crashing his lips down on yours. You could taste yourself on his tongue and you had not expected it to turn you on as much as it did.
You gasped loudly as Steve unexpectedly plunged a finger inside of you. Steve gave you another quick peck before sinking back down to his knees and attaching his lips to your clit again.
He was done teasing now. He sucked on your clit forcefully as his finger moved inside of you.
"Oh my God Steve, yes!" you moaned loudly, egging him on.
"You look so incredibly hot between my thighs, baby."
"Holy shit, Y/N"
Steve groaned, he was enjoying this just as much as you were.
He nipped at your clit making you scream out his name, it was without a doubt the best thing he'd ever heard in his life. He pulled his finger out of you and quickly replaced it with his tongue. He was eating you out quickly, his tongue flat against your folds.
"Oh shit, right there, baby. God, Steve, you're so good at that" you praised.
You could feel the knot in your stomach start to tighten as Steve worked his magic on you. His thumb was stroking your clit again and it felt amazing.
"I'm so close, Stevey" you whispered, your fingers pulling his hair roughly, making Steve moan against you.
Steve increased his pace, lapping at you roughly and you could feel the pressure building inside you.
You could feel your nerve endings exploding as your orgasm hit you. You screamed Steve's name at the top of your lungs, earning another groan from him as he eagerly lapped up your release.
His thumb was still toying with your clit lazily, guiding you through your high. You were coming down from your high, your breath was shaky and your gaze was slightly unfocused, you felt like you were floating in a haze of warmth.
Steve pressed one last kiss to your clit before getting back up, sending a shiver down your spine.
"That was by far the hottest thing I've ever seen" he smiled widely and gave you a sweet kiss.
"You 're amazing, Y/N."
You smiled back at him, still panting slightly. "You're amazing, Steve. Seriously, no one has ever made me cum that hard. You're really, really good at that."
He rested his forehead against yours and wrapped his arms around you. "Well, I guess you're just a really good teacher then" You chuckled.
"I think that just might be all god-given talent, Harrington."
You gave him a slow, intimate kiss before you smiled and said "So, how about I return the favor?"
Suddenly, Steve's blush had returned. "Yeah, that won't be necessary" he said while scratching the back of his neck.
"You sure? 'Cause I really don't mind."
"Yeah, no, I'm uhm, I'm all good" he smiled awkwardly.
And that's when you noticed the dark stain on his jeans. "Did you just...?" you asked amused.
"Like I said, that was by far the hottest thing I've ever seen" he said in his defense.
"You're by far the hottest thing I've ever seen" you smirked.
"You're a dork" Steve laughed and gave you another kiss.
"You know you love me, Harrington" you winked.
"I really do."
"Love you too, Steve."

Stranger Things 4 Analysis and Theory
I don’t know if anyone else has done posts on this stuff yet (it’s really likely, but i’d not want to take the credit if i’m not the only one who’s thought of this)
I know @kaypeace21 has made tons of posts on the s4 movies from Video Store Friday, and many others have theories and analyses, but back in July I took it upon myself to research more into the very last few scenes of s3. Specifically the three months later time stamp, where Steve and Robin are in search for a new job.
My main focus was the four movies that they mentioned for Keith at the counter. “Animal House”, “The Hidden Fortress”, “Children Of Paradise”, and “The Apartment”.
(reminder that if you read this, it could be spoilers for the final cut of the actual show if i end up being correct about some of this, so read at your own risk)
My first theory, which I’ve already discussed in a separate reblog, is about The Hellfire Club. But i’ll say it here too.
Basically,
Tumblr media
(sorry for the sucky quality)
Animal House is about two awkward freshmen going into college and joining a fraternity of rejects. It matches Mike, Dustin and the Hellfire Club perfectly! Personally, my lowkey theory is that they’re going to have to go though an entirety of initiation activities (possibly drugs too, if what we’ve heard is correct) and Lucas and Max will be in their own storylines up until the supernatural threat brings them back together again. This could be wayy off, but still its my idea.
As for Max and Lucas...
Tumblr media
I’m not sure about the entirety of the plot of this movie, but the last line sounds a lot like something that would happen between Lumax. Lucas is a basketball jock now, I think that’s crystal clear now seeing from the Pep Rally poster, and how he’s always been the one in the group to be able to mask his nerdy side. For Dustin and Mike, I know it’s much harder for them. Anyways, Max, I’m pretty positive by now, is going to be extremely distant and defensive from everyone just like she was in the beginning of s2, since she just had a big change happening in her life. It’s the same now, except with the grief and loss of Billy. My guess, from the hints of this movie and other stuff, is that Lucas is going to come face to face with his reputation as a popular kid, and his love for Max. Like the summary says, he must decide between the advancement of his career or the girl that he loves. Real hard hitting stuff.
Onto the next one. MIKE WHEELER. (or will byers)
Tumblr media
I watched an analysis video on this movie, because I haven’t seen it yet, but again the very last line is what I’d like to focus on.
My. Jaw. Dropped.
I’ve read many analyses of Mike Wheeler being gay (courtesy of @kaypeace21 @hawkinsschoolcounselor and MANY others), but I dunno, I was always just so skeptical no matter how much it made sense. But when I saw this WHAT THE HELL?!?’);/&? It’s stupid of me to not have believed it sooner, but I hope this is the movie that foreshadows Mike’s storyline this season. I’m assuming Mike will have to “prove his expertise in battle”, or perhaps prove he can go through with all of the initiation shit for The Hellfire Club, while hiding his growing revelation that he might be gay/bisexual.
BUT a possibly more likely scenario would be that this movie connects with Will Byers’ storyline this season instead. Perhaps the hardships of a new school and a new town has Will shaken up, and he also has his sexuality awakening that he has to hide from new people. I say that it’s more likely for him, because Will has always been more heavily queer-coded (not exactly heavier, but just extremely much more apparent and obvious opposed to Mikes queercoded subtext that we really had to dig for).
I also didn’t mention this in my reblog from earlier, but I want to address my opinions on the apparent cheerleader that meets Mike and befriends one another. One of my friends on twitter said Chrissy (her name, or so we think lmao) might be a key component to Mike being able to discover and come to terms with his sexuality. But then again, a different friend of mine thinks that the amount of content were getting is oddly suspicious, and that the Duffers are feeding us all the wrong information to lead us to all the wrong conclusions. But, at this point, why not both. At the moment, everyone thinks that Chrissy is Mikes new love interest, but what if she really isn’t, and they’re pulling a Robin on us (i call it a robin because it was technically straight-baiting in s3 LMFAO). I’m not saying that she might be a lesbian (although 👀 it says on her character info that she’s 18 (robins got some game to work with now ahaha)) but it could be a straight-bait up until she helps Mike realize his sexuality (i would have said realizes his love for Will😍😍 but recently ive been trying not to input byler into everything i fucking say, so theres how that’s going). Anyways. Last movie!
Now, I’m currently not super concrete on this one to be completely honest. I have a few in mind...
Tumblr media
Okay, so don’t attack me, but this could possibly be a mileven storyline. It sort of fits. They have an undeniable connection, but “their fortunes shift considerably and they’re pushed apart” aka the misfortune of the mindflayer and hawkins not being safe for them leads them to moving away and literally being pushed apart. I don’t know about the pursuing other relationships, but we still have no idea what’s going on with El Hopper tbh, i havent a single clue what’s going to be happening with her storyline atm. But either way, that could be it.
ORRRR the MUCH more likely scenario, Jancy :)
Bloggers on here have already predicted that they wouldn’t be endgame, and I was only slightly skeptical because although their relationship was built on shared trauma, a very unstable foundation to have for a ship tbh, i still hung onto the fact that they cared for eachother a lot :,( But the entirety of their season 3 bickering and this summary kind of sealed the deal.
Just like Mike and El, Nancy and Jonathan have been pushed apart aswell. It was already seen in season three that they’d be better of leading separate lives, aka Jonathan was doing fine at the internship, whereas Nancy could have been somewhere better for herself. I doubt they broke up at the end of season 3, but there’s bound to be new relationships for them seperately. It sucks bc I love Jancy, but s3 showed how badly they snap at one another when there isn’t a life threatening event at hand. Jopper on the other hand, I thought their bickering was adorable, but i’m getting off track, sorry lmfaoo.
Once again, I probably am not the first to talk about these, but jsyk if you steal this from me specifically i will track you down and end you. I’ve been speculating about these things since April and July, which is pretty weak tbh, but that was when i had nothing better to do LMFAO. i hope i got at least something right, but i haven’t seen many of the video store friday’s movies, which sucks bc those could really help. But whatever.
(i wrote this really late at night, and it’s poorly edited bc my eyesight sucks lmfao, but i hope you get what i mean)
And that’s it! I hope you like it, or had some sort of impact from it idk, just sharing my thoughts tbh. Anygays, if you have any questions/added ideas/thoughts of any kind, my inbox is always here, you can private message me, and comment if you want!! i love y’all sm lmfao, so excited for the upcoming content were about to get soon, byee!
