This work, the first part of the concept album "Nebula Romance" commemorating the 25th anniversary of Perfume's formation and the 20th anniversary of their major debut, depicts a grand drama unfolding between the three of them in space. Producer Yasutaka Nakata imagined the soundtrack of a science fiction movie, and created a near-future virtual space with a sound that strongly reflects 1980s electropop. The members are like avatars flying freely around the world, and they talk about the scenery they see with their cool singing voices. The sparkling electronic sounds are artificial yet warm, enveloping the heart with a mysterious loneliness. In a city where artificial lights glitter, a human-made intelligence knows emotions like love, and while knowing that it is a dream that will not last long, it intensely seeks the reality of living in the present. The story of love and adventure settles down with the prayer-like song "Jikuu Hana" and then moves on to the up-tempo "Mobius." It depicts a mysterious cycle as it enters a new zone, building anticipation for the second part.

As someone who sees AI (especially ChatGPT) being used a lot in her school/workplace, it can be extremely discouraging.

I was working on a small website for a project, when my friend showed me how Chatgpt had generated the entire thing, CSS and JavaScript and all, in a minute, it made me sit down and contemplate my existence for a while. If I took 2h to make the same product ChatGPT made in such little time, what even was the point of me doing all that for? What's the point of making my silly website when an AI can do it better and faster? Why bother creating?

And I thought about it for a while. Poked about on Chatgpt too. And you know what I realised?

No matter how much better an AI can do something, I'd still rather do it myself. Because it's mine.

That's what matters. That I made it, with my own brain and fingers. That I put the effort into it, and reaped the results. That I can truly call it my own.

So keep making. Whether it's writing or art or coding, just keep doing it. No matter how much better an AI can create, no matter how much faster, no matter how much more complex.

people said that "we dont need to worry because AI is pretty stupid" 4 years ago when AI couldnt write a pasta recipe. now, AI can do that pretty well (though of course not amazingly). it has been used for many unethical things now too, such as stealing creative works that people make without consent and environmental issues. Saying that "oh we will be fine because AI is dumb" is a very short-term outlook on a issue that is going to be longlasting. Im very against most uses of AI - these videos arent as critical of AI as I'd like but they display how AI has evolved over just a few years. the problem with humans is that they don't care. you can tell them something super interesting or be really passionate about something and they'll just stare at you like "uh huh". an AI chatbot never does that. a chatbot pays attention to everything you say and builds on the topic in interesting ways. you can correct a chatbot and it'll respond based on fact, whether that means revising its own point of view or correcting you with the valuable information you were missing. if you express something emotional it basically responds like an ideal friend, whether that means being supportive, being happy for you, or whatever the situation calls for. a chatbot has no ego. it will never respond to a perfectly innocent comment with "what the hell is that supposed to mean??"

someday human friendship will be obsolete. because the problem with humans is that they don't care.
