I’m really curious to see how the show will deal with Roy’s aggression (and aggression in general). Like, just two episodes ago we saw Jamie flinch and recoil away from him, because he slapped a fork out of Jamie’s hand.
Last episode he (and beard) encouraged the rage inside the himbos against the west ham players. I know intention is more important than causation, but you cannot tell be that if Roy was still a player he would have head butted every single one of those west ham players (who did nothing wrong).
This episode he was just so fucking psychopathic that Trent dropped his mug and even beard looked freaked out. He’s scaring grown men in they’re workplace. That’s just fucking harassment. Trent doesn’t know him. They’re not close.
It’s been really disconcerting to me how much more aggressive this season is. How haven’t we seen the aftermath of the last game? What the fuck did ted say to the himbos? What will be the breaking point? WHAT happens to make it inexcusable anymore?

I'm sorry if what I say is wrong in any way, I don't mean to offend you, it's just something I'm not completely sure about. Does Adam use he/they or they/them pronouns? I think I saw a post of yours where you said that Adam uses he/they, but it was a while ago and now I'm not completely sure (and I don't want to use the wrong pronouns)
I know you don't mean anything by it, but I am sad that so many of the asks I get start with people saying "I'm sorry, I don't want to offend you" or some variation thereof, followed by completely normal questions. I think I may have been responding too harshly to too many things and given the impression that I'll jump at people for being wrong...
But asking clarifying questions is always okay. I mean, it's also okay to be wrong and even offensive. What matters is if you learn from it when someone points out that it was wrong or offensive. I won't stop telling people they're saying something hurtful if they are, but I don't want that to lead people to be scared of me or something.
Correcting people is always just about correcting them, not hurting them. It's okay to need to be corrected, were all learning new things every day.
Anyways Adam uses he/they, you remembered correctly

"You're ridiculous, you know that?"
"I do! It's why you love me, right?"
Introducing Sarantuya! She was Shiun's best friend and his eventual girlfriend as he grew up in the Azim Steppe with the Malaguld. She made it her job to protect the tiny angry baby lizard the second he was adopted into the tribe. Despite his attempts to chase her off she stubbornly clung to him until he relented.
More under the cut!
They were inseparable, and Sarantuya often defended him from other Xaela who caused him trouble because he's a Raen. For the longest time, she was taller than him, which he was very sore about. She gave him shit about it even after he hit his growth spurt and grew to be twice her size.
She was feisty, rough around the edges, athletic, adventurous, and most of all she would not put up with his moody broody bullshit. It seemed only natural that as time progressed, love would blossom between them. It started out wonderfully, but as the honeymoon phase wore off, it became very apparent to Saran that Shiun was... ill-prepared to love someone. He was distant, closed-off, irritable, and he just was not there for her like she needed him to be. Though she was genuinely in love with him, she started to feel like she was nothing but a means to an end for him. Which, unfortunately, was partly true.
They broke up after a heated argument about his problems turned into a yelling match. Shiun let his temper get the better of him, and he acted aggressive enough to make her cry. Saran left in tears, and after that they never spoke again. He lost a lover and his best friend that day, and it's his own fault.
He regrets it every day, and now that he's matured, he sees how much of an asshole he was and wishes he could go back and change things. Maybe there'll be a reconciliation in the Stormblood era.

Okay usually I don’t complain about the rottmnt fandom when it comes to them writing the characters in fanfics BUT WE HAVE TO TALK
WHY. WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE RAPH SO SOFT?
Like yeah, I get it, everyone loves the big tank soft guy trope but he’s a Raph regardless. And we’ve seen him get impatient and frustrated with his bros, for example the infamous “DONT EAT THE POISON” episode and in the movie.
We also know he threatens them as any older sibling does (which I can confirm as a middle child) like in the maze episode when he tells Leo he’ll haunt him if he dies in the maze and in the fish episode when he tells Donnie he’ll shove his head in the toilet.
I just think we all need to get our facts straight and remember that just because Raph doesn’t outburst and isn’t the Anger Issues™️ Raph we know from the other iterations DOESN’T mean he’s always Mr. Nice Guy.
Point is I need more fanfics where Raph gets frustrated and does the classic ‘threaten-your-younger-siblings’ move all older siblings do and stop being the all cupcakes and rainbows the fandom makes him out to be. Specifically a crossover fanfic where the other version(s) of the TMNT are telling the Rise TMNT they aren’t taking things seriously and all it takes it one death threat from Rise! Raph and they straighten out immediately and all the other Leos and Raphs are impressed by it.

in another case of me being biased as hell and yet talking anyways: i think i fundamentally don’t ship miranda or aaravi with any of the PCs for similar reasons.
i don’t like PC ships with miranda because all of the PCs feel too eager to please and too easily persuaded to do literally anything for the object of their affections, and i feel like not only would this dissatisfy miranda (for as much as she talks about wanting to be held up on a pedestal, i feel like all of her actual behavior suggests otherwise) but it would place the PC in a very precarious situation where their boundaries would be too easily ignored or bypassed.
and i don’t really like PC ships with aaravi because the behavior of the PCs reminds me too much of other people that i’ve known previously, where they love the idea of someone with anger issues, but neither can deal with nor wants to deal with the actual work that comes with loving and being close to someone with anger issues. it also doesn’t help that both the narration and the broader fandom reaction has been to treat aaravi being angry or having these anger issues as cute, which i can say from experience is so dehumanizing that it’s ruined entire relationships by itself.

when will the osc realize that basing a horror au around a character's mental health problems is really weird. like i promise you making paper a murderer based on the fact that he has DID isnt innovative or unique youre just parroting years of stigma and Really Shitty and Bad horror tropes that get mentally ill people killed

so fucking crazy that barry is an actual like . war vet . with serious ptsd from having killed someone and obvious severe mental issues that he needed genuine serious help with and the military just kicked him out and sent him off to a hospital and went . well hes not our responsibility . and then the hospital went . well hes not our responsibility either. and they let him go and nobody even bothered to check in on him or to make sure he stayed somewhere to get consistent help or even a therapist or psychiatrist who could understand . so he did something so awful and horrific and he couldnt tell anyone about it and he fell right into the arms of someone who had been waiting and watching for him to be that killing machine since he was 5 years old . and he promised he loved him and he understood and he could help barry use his talent for good . barrys ONLY talent. because hes not good at anything else. he doesnt have hobbies or friends. he has fuches. and he has the ability to kill. and he says he can give barry a purpose and make him feel safe and validated and worth something again and hes the only one who will ever understand or accept or genuinely, truly, love him . so barry accepts it and he loves him too . and he does what he wants because he was trained to follow orders and he was trained to kill and all he wants is to feel like hes doing the right thing and he can make up for what he did, he can redeem himself for killing a civilian, by killing these people who are bad guys. who do bad things. what fuches told him . and he believes that . and hes fuches' responsibility. not the military, not the hospital, not anybody else who might truly understand or want to help him or who might realize that maybe, maybe they could have prevented that . prevented who he is . that maybe its their fault . that they broke a sweet, shy, innocent young man with their tales of glory and adventure and patriotism . that they let an innocent man die in front of his family . the military didnt care about any of that. nobody cared once they decided he was safe enough to be let back into society . once they decided he didnt need their help anymore. only fuches cared. and honestly, it wouldve been better if he didnt.
