How Long Does It Take to Lose Weight?
Tumblr media
Losing weight can be a challenging and time-consuming process, and one of the most common questions people have when starting a weight loss journey is "How long will it take?" The answer to this question is not straightforward, as there are many factors that can influence how long it takes to lose weight, including a person's age, gender, starting weight, diet, and level of physical activity. In this article, we will explore some of the key factors that can impact weight loss and provide some guidelines on how long it might take to see results.
One of the main factors that determines how long it takes to lose weight is the rate at which a person loses weight. On average, most people can expect to lose about 1-2 pounds per week, although this can vary depending on factors such as a person's starting weight and level of physical activity. For example, someone who is very overweight may be able to lose weight faster than someone who is only slightly overweight.
Another important factor is a person's diet. To lose weight, a person must create a calorie deficit, which means that they must burn more calories than they consume. This can be achieved through a combination of diet and exercise. A healthy, balanced diet that is low in calories and high in nutrients can help a person lose weight more effectively than a diet that is high in unhealthy, processed foods.
Physical activity is also a key factor in weight loss. Exercise can help a person burn calories, build muscle, and improve their overall health. It is generally recommended that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week. However, the specific amount and intensity of exercise needed will depend on a person's goals and fitness level.
½ Teaspoon Of This Berry Mix Burns Fat 320% Faster!
here are some additional tips for losing weight:
Keep track of your progress: It can be helpful to track your weight loss progress by keeping a food and exercise diary or using a fitness app. This can help you stay motivated and make any necessary adjustments to your diet and exercise routine.
Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help you feel full and satisfied, which can make it easier to stick to your diet. Aim for at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day.
Don't skip meals: Skipping meals can cause your body to slow down its metabolism, which can make it harder to lose weight. Instead, try to eat regular, well-balanced meals throughout the day.
Get enough sleep: Lack of sleep can cause an increase in appetite and cravings for unhealthy foods. Aim for at least 7-9 hours of sleep per night to help support weight loss.
Find a support system: Losing weight can be challenging, and it can be helpful to have the support of friends and family. Consider joining a weight loss support group or enlisting the help of a dietitian or personal trainer to help you stay on track.
Be consistent: Weight loss takes time and consistency. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away – keep making healthy lifestyle choices and the weight will eventually come off.
In conclusion, the amount of time it takes to lose weight can vary significantly from person to person. It is important to set realistic weight loss goals and to make healthy lifestyle changes, such as eating a balanced diet and getting regular exercise, to achieve them. It is also important to be patient, as losing weight takes time and consistent effort. With dedication and persistence, it is possible for anyone to reach their weight loss goals.

Discover 28 Surprising Ways to Shed Pounds Fast!
Tumblr media
Losing weight can often feel like an uphill battle, especially when juggling a busy life and past attempts haven’t shown results. But you’re not alone. Many people face the same struggles and have found success with the right approach. If you’re ready for a change, we’ve got 28 practical and easy weight loss tips that can fit into your hectic schedule and help you achieve your goals.
Simple Changes for Effective Weight Loss
1. Balanced Diet: Eating a variety of foods from all food groups is key. Include fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats to get the nutrients your body needs.
2. Portion Control: Listen to your body’s hunger and fullness cues to avoid overeating and develop a healthy relationship with food.
3. Eat More Protein: Focus on plant-based proteins like beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds. Soaking and sprouting these foods can enhance nutrient absorption and keep you feeling full longer.
4. Incorporate Fiber-Rich Foods: Foods high in fiber, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, help you stay full and aid digestion.
5. Stay Hydrated: Drinking water can help you feel full and reduce unnecessary snacking. Aim to drink water before meals and replace sugary drinks with water or herbal teas.
6. Avoid Sugary Drinks: Sugary drinks are high in calories and offer little nutritional value. Opt for low-calorie beverages like water and herbal teas.
7. Mindful Eating: Pay full attention to your eating experience. Avoid distractions, savor each bite, and recognize your hunger and fullness signals.
8. Plan Your Meals: Meal planning helps you have healthy options readily available and avoid impulsive eating. Prepare meals at home to control ingredients and portion sizes.
9. Reduce Refined Carbs: Choose whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat bread instead of refined carbs. Whole grains are more nutritious and provide lasting energy.
10. Limit Processed Foods: Processed foods are often high in unhealthy fats, sugars, and salt. Focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods to support your weight loss journey.
11. Healthy Snacking: Choose snacks high in protein and fiber, like nuts, seeds, yogurt, or fresh fruit. Avoid snacks high in sugar and empty calories.
12. Avoid Late-Night Eating: Try to finish your last meal at least two to three hours before bedtime. If you’re hungry late at night, choose a light, healthy snack.
13. Keep a Food Diary: Tracking what you eat can help you make healthier choices and see patterns in your eating habits.
Embrace a Holistic Approach
Combining healthy eating, physical activity, and lifestyle changes is crucial for sustainable weight loss. Incorporate regular exercise, including both cardio and strength training, to boost your metabolism and improve your overall well-being. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is particularly effective for burning fat in less time, making it perfect for busy schedules.
Staying active throughout the day, finding exercises you enjoy, and maintaining consistency over intensity are key. Remember, it’s better to work out moderately but regularly than to have sporadic, intense sessions.
Support Your Journey
Achieving weight loss is not just about diet and exercise. Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress management, and surrounding yourself with support play a significant role. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night, incorporate stress-reducing activities like yoga or meditation, and share your goals with family and friends to stay motivated.
By following these tips, you can embark on a holistic journey to better health and fitness. For a more detailed guide and structured plan, check out our comprehensive blog at Yuvaap.com.

What is the fastest ways to lose weight with keto in a week?
Ready to jump start weight loss journey with a keto diet? Download our free keto ebook for recipes, meal plans and expert tips. start journey to a healthier you today.
As an AI language model, I cannot recommend any specific diet or weight loss plan, as it may not be safe or effective for everyone. However, I can provide some general information about the ketogenic diet.
The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, moderate-protein, and low-carbohydrate diet that has been shown to promote weight loss in some studies. However, it is important to note that any weight loss achieved on the ketogenic diet may not be sustainable in the long term.
If you are considering trying the ketogenic diet, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting, as it may not be appropriate for everyone. Additionally, it is important to follow the diet plan carefully, as the macronutrient ratios and specific food choices are important for achieving and maintaining a state of ketosis.
It is also important to keep in mind that rapid weight loss in a week is not necessarily healthy or sustainable. Sustainable weight loss typically involves a combination of healthy eating habits, regular physical activity, and behavioral changes.

Beelzebub isn't dumb
Whenever I see an assumption that Beel is less intelligent than his brothers, I get frustrated.
If you read into his dialogue and look into his devilgram, you find out that he was once a royal guard in the celestial realm. He was trained to protect the lives of others so thoroughly that he's able to function blindfolded due to the training drills he once did. He doesn't lift weights to look big, or for his own appearance, but so that he's able to be confident in his ability to protect the ones he loves against any possible danger.
He is by far the most emotionally intelligent. This man was born with the ability to literally feel the emotions of his twin. Intimately experiencing the emotions of another person is something that is ingrained within him. It's not so much of a stretch for him to apply that same empathy to other demons and people.
Did you notice that he never once mentions how MC is human and not a demon, he never makes any sort of remark that could make you feel outcast or different? Did you notice that he's the first to genuinely talk to MC about Lilith, Belphegor and the pain of loss?
Yes, his dialogue is often simple and centered around food. But the sin he was assigned is by far the most painful. Imagine how you'd act when you haven't eaten for an entire day. For a week. The hunger consumes. It turns to anger and irritability. Survival instinct kicks in. A gnawing, nagging ache inside your core that barely leaves behind any mental energy.
This perpetual void is also why Beelzebub takes everything at face value, and won't catch on to social nuance. Deciphering social cues and passive aggressive interactions takes energy that this demon simply does not have.
So no, Beel isn't stupid. He's candid and honest, and whatever he's thinking pops right out of his mouth. He's an absolute meatball who chews holes in furniture and doesn't catch on to things the fastest, but he's doing his best to deal with the literal hell he's been handed.

in a post about how everyone might react if Bruce dies in sever the blight, you also said that Bruce had like the most expensive (?) body to keep. Could you please explain what that means?
Love your fics and your writing here!
Thank you so much! Happy to talk about this. TW for discussions of weight/weight loss/calories below.
It's no secret on here that I'm into weightlifting and have therefore done a bit of research into optimizing nutrition for muscle growth and weight loss. When you push aside the bro science and bad cooking, it's actually very interesting. Anyway --
I said that Bruce's body was the most "expensive" calorically for several reasons.
1) he's carrying around a ton of extra muscle. Muscle costs a lot of calories to put on (eating more, etc) and to maintain (eating enough to fuel what muscles you currently have).
2) he's taller and arguably has a higher TDEE than anyone else in the group. TDEE is total daily energy expenditure -- how many calories your body burns in one day. In that fic, he was about the same height as Jason, but carrying around more muscle mass per inch of height than Jason was. Meaning despite being the same height, despite both of them being "big", Bruce's body took more energy to maintain than Jason's.
And 3) while this is more of me hypothesizing, TDEE can be affected by long term training/rest cycles, so my hypothesis was even at rest, Bruce's body was burning more calories than anyone else's, since it was so used to being trained + fed optimally. So it also lost that muscle the fastest, shedding excess weight as soon as it wasn't needed to be more efficient.
All of these combined means two things: 1) Bruce was right, and he was probably the best person to limit food intake, because he actually has excess muscle to lose before you have to worry about the serious effects of starvation. And 2) it was probably very very difficult to watch someone as big and strong as Bruce drop muscle mass that quickly.

in search of honor {series teaser}
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fandom: The Mandalorian / Alien VS Predator Crossover
Pairing: Younger! Din Djarin x Sacrifice! Reader
Summary: As Din prepares for the ritual of swearing the Creed, he contemplates his past and the future he wants to achieve. On another planet, the one his people are headed to, you are told of your role in the hunt to take place. In the pyramid that everyone knows means death for those that visit. A sacrifice to be made for the Mandalorian's to perform their ritual.
A/N: this is the first tentative writing i've done for the idea that i shared over here. it's just a silly little thing helping me destress from everything going on. no warnings, because i don't have any big ones outlined yet. essentially this is mando'a culture, but the creed is the hunt that takes place for the predators in the alien franchise to prove themselves, fighting aliens and all that fun stuff!
Tumblr media
O'r echoy par ijaat.
In search of honor.
It echoes in his head as he stares at the helmet handed to him from the armorer. He's had it in his possession for nearly ten years now, to be worn at all times. never to be removed. not unless it was around his family, his partner, his children. All of which he doesn't have, having been adopted into the culture he is now devoted to. He had been raised by them, taken in when he had nothing. It's finally his turn to earn the title of Mandalorian, after years of training, of sparring, and learning the weapons praised for protection and defense. It's his turn to prove his worth and earn his signet. If he survives the trial, the hunt, devoted himself to the ritual and solidify himself as a true member of the people who had given him everything he could ever remember. Then he would have achieved what they anticipated of him, proved himself.
The weight of his armor had been heavy like his thoughts when he first dressed in them, the heavy padding beneath it adding even more to his then small frame, just a boy. He had barely been seven when he had first been given it, each year it increased in weight as more of the precious beskar was needed to decorate his growing body. But it's something he's gotten accustomed to. He now feels it's absence when he readies for sleep each night and before he dons it each morning. feels the loss of it when he's bathing and eating alone in his room. He's hopeful the thoughts become less so just as the beskar had. A comfort rather than a daunting new reality.
He wants to survive; he wants to earn his place. He only hopes he's strong enough.
It’s not a death sentence, it’s an honor.
And it’s now on his shoulders and the only path he sees to follow.
Tumblr media
You're in disbelief. The summons that called you has you standing beside six other eldest children of the most renown families of the city, two other girls and four boys. All varying ages, the youngest is a boy, not even ten. The first child of the family you know heads the cultivation of food for the city. He's openly crying, though his father and your own ignore the shine of the tears on his still chubby cheeks.
It's an honor, a way to serve your family, your community. The sentiment is repeated over and over, in the face of each of you as you're dismissed. The day is tomorrow, has been marked for nearly as long as you've been alive. The pyramid in the middle of the desert an entire night's travel away, even on the fastest ship. In the midst of the never-ending desert that surrounds your city, the only on the planet. To ensure should anything go awry or the hunt go wrong, there was no risk for it to get to the population.
It will become your tomb as you heed the commands of your culture and family, as you lay still and allow for an alien creature to attach itself to you, to use you as a host for the chosen species the Mandalorian’s have honed over centuries and use in their own ritual. A way to prove that their training and fighting is either the best or to see the flaws in which they could improve them in order to continue to develop some of the strongest warriors in the galaxy.
It's a cruel cycle, that you must give your live for another to gain meaning and status in their own. you loathed the life you were born into, the injustice of it. the inability to have control over your own autonomy, raised like cattle and given without argument to further another's notion of honor.
An honor and a way to show your devotion to those that made it all possible for your way of life to flourish and thrive.
A sacrifice you should be happy to play a part in.
But it was death, that much you were certain of. Even as they dress you in the most extravagant fabrics you've ever felt against your skin. Soft silt, plush pelts, heavy jewelry. It was too much to handle, the meaning behind it all, the reason for it all.
It’s not an honor it’s a death sentence.
A weight on your shoulders, but you’d be damned if it’s the only path for you to take.

JJK MMA Fighter AU Headcanons
[Headcanons for Toji, Geto, Gojo, and Sukuna as MMA Fighters]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MMA fighter Toji Fushiguro, who keeps everyone on his training team shocked when he consistently makes weight because he eats whatever he wants until about a month before weigh ins. When he’s fighting he’s always lean and cut as hell despite said “fuck it” diet.
MMA fighter Toji is a light heavyweight, he could choose to fight as a heavyweight if he wanted, but he’d be at the lower end of the weight class and if he bulked up any more it would affect his flexibility.
MMA fighter Toji is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and holds the record for fastest submission. Absolute master of sneaky submissions, to the point that opponents will try to avoid being taken down by him at all costs. Suits him, if he doesn’t win by submission he’ll win by points alone because they’re too afraid to get in his (long) reach. He hates boring fights though, so expect lots of taunting in these cases.
MMA fighter Toji’s early fight record is a bit spotty, but once he hits his prime a few years in his record is nearly flawless. Except for one fight that gets brought up a lot more than he would like where he was knocked out cold.
MMA fighter Toji comes from a fighting family, a boxing family specifically, but absolutely does not associate himself with them. When he was young and talked more shit he asked a few of them to fight him, but they either blew him off or refused to have an MMA match - it was boxing only or nothing.
MMA fighter Toji gets his chance to fight someone from the Zen’in family eventually, and decides he won’t take them to the ground at all - he’ll box them. He wins by knockout in the second round.
Tumblr media
MMA fighter Suguru Geto is a middleweight. He sticks to his wheelhouse and you won’t find him moving weight classes or suddenly trying any flashy moves.
MMA fighter Geto whose background was initially in Judo, and early on he made the smart choice to supplement it with Brazilian jiu-jitsu. That paired with his strength and stamina make him a dangerous combo and he’s known for getting almost anyone down for a little ground and pound until he earns himself a stoppage win.
MMA fighter Geto doesn’t have to make weight, he just stays at weight. Thanks to this he’s a frequent late call-in when other fighters have had to back out at the last minute. His diet is clean and measured and he has to be on rest for a good while to really indulge. He just prefers being a clean eater.
MMA fighter Geto can get in his head sometimes about his opponents though, particularly if they’re known to be slippery on the ground and hard to get a favourable position against. His losses tend to be a result of hanging back too much and letting it go to judges' decision - in which case it’ll be his lack of striking that gets him. At his best, though? He’s fearsome and will hold a title at some point in his career.
MMA fighter Geto is neither a trash talker, nor a show off, so he doesn’t get quite as much press as other fighters. Some of his fans theorise that he’d have much more title shots and bigger fights if he were to play up his personality for viewers, but even more fans like and respect that he’s himself and is a purist in his fighting. He gets the job done, without bells and whistles.
MMA fighter Geto has excellent sportsmanship. Even if he’s a clear winner he doesn’t ever downplay his opponent’s skills or talk badly about them. Always taps gloves before a fight, and the second the person taps or the ref waves his arms to stop, he’s letting go and checking on his opponent. This behaviour earns him lots of respect and lots of friends among his peers. It’s beneficial in the end because lots of other fighters enjoy training with him, and Suguru is particularly good at incorporating new things he picks up seamlessly into his existing skill set.
MMA fighter Suguru Geto who, of his generation of big names, is most expected to become a trainer upon retirement. He’s always helpful to even the most inexperienced fighters during training, and generally has really great insights on fighting.
MMA fighter Geto always gets dragged out to at least one place to celebrate after a win. His training partner Satoru Gojo insists on it. Though he doesn’t stay out late and will always end the night icing his muscles and drinking loads of water to recover.
Tumblr media
MMA fighter Satoru Gojo is the poster boy for his company. He has sponsorships galore. He’s handsome, interviews well, keeps his nose clean as far as the public is concerned, and is an amazing fighter.
MMA fighter Gojo’s talent was noticed early, so he’s been in some kind of combat sport competitively since he was a kid. Judo, taekwondo, anything he could try he’s done for at least a summer. He later refocused on primarily Muay Thai and kickboxing.
MMA fighter Gojo is a lightweight in his early career, but as he gets older and bulks up a little Gojo moves up into the welterweight class where he really shines. He has an incredible reach thanks to his long limbs, which poses problems for anyone against him.
MMA fighter Gojo is an all rounder - dangerous standing and dangerous on the ground, but if an opponent is strong enough they can carve out some points by holding him down so he doesn’t have the chance to get momentum on those powerful kicks.
MMA fighter Gojo can eat whatever he wants and not put on weight, he never seems sluggish after his big meals or sugary treats either and no one understands how. He just seems to eat whatever he wants without consequence, although as he gets into his late 20s his manager and trainers are always on his ass about eating better. He listens… sometimes.
MMA fighter Gojo will taunt and tease loads before and during fights, but really does have good sportsmanship. He always taps gloves at the beginning of a match, compliments his opponent and hugs or pats them on the back post-match, and you won’t find him breaking rules. Say he mis-judges a punch and hits someone on the back of the head or his foot slips during a thigh kick and he gets them in the groin, he’ll feel genuinely bad and allow them all the time the referee can for recovery before the match resumes.
MMA fighter Gojo parties hard after a match. Not necessarily drinking, but he’s going out on the town, dancing, being his happy loud self, eating all the things his trainers begged him not to in the lead up to weigh-ins. Even though his manager initially worried he would make a fool of himself, it actually only helps his image. Many fans will come across him in a bar or club after a match and get pictures with him. He’s just friendly and takes the time, even if he’s trying to unwind.
Tumblr media
MMA fighter Ryomen Sukuna whose only losses are disqualifications for times he got too carried away - if that even counts. No one has ever beaten him outright. Despite this he has some of the gnarliest cauliflower ear you’ve ever seen.
MMA fighter Sukuna who got kicked out of his first MMA company for poor conduct.
MMA fighter Sukuna is a heavyweight that specialises in boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - the latter gives a lot of his opponents trouble because at this weight class they’re expecting a glorified boxing/kick boxing match and don’t know what’s coming once they’re on the ground.
MMA fighter Sukuna always has some viewers debating on whether he’s a fraud for how, despite winning, he’s always down on points in his scorecard. It’s only because he likes eating punches from opponents if only to show them that he can shake them off like nothing, and he gets his own points deducted for rule breaking. Punches to the back of the head, kneeing downed opponents, but he only does these things once in a match to avoid disqualification nowadays. The points don’t matter to him anyway, he finishes the fight when he feels like it.
MMA fighter Sukuna secured a spot on title cards from a young age, thanks to his impressive frame and even more impressive taunting in the press leading up to fights.
MMA fighter Sukuna once dropped down two weight classes just to fuck up someone he doesn’t like on record. People count him out for the physical strain dropping so much muscle would have on anyone else, but this isn’t just anyone else, it’s Ryomen Sukuna.
MMA fighter Sukuna who, as he ages, has to teach new up and comers a lesson again and again. The more someone talks about him being past his prime, the harder they’ll fall. Though he’ll still talk non-stop about how early MMA was better, when you could fight anyone of any weight class and there weren’t so many rules around how to safely beat someone.
MMA fighter Sukuna who, after yet another win, celebrates by drinking and feasting and fucking. Just pure hedonism. He’s had a few belligerent moments, and a few encounters of getting a little too hot and heavy in the corner of a club, but he’s just too popular as a sort of “heel” in the MMA world that organisers make any press around more illegal activities disappear.

Benny Gecko headcanons
disclaimer: these are all my personal headcanons for him, no worries if they don't align with yours! everyone's interpretation of this guy is different, and that's pretty cool imo :3
5'7" and wishes he was taller.
Bisexual (I mean, look at him)
Trans man
Changed a lot (maybe the most, out of all the Boot Riders) after becoming the Chairmen, both mentally and physically. "Ciao to the old ways, baby - time to swing in style. If the shoes fit, you wear 'em." He adjusted the fastest out of all of the Boot Riders/Chairmen, as well, adopting his new persona flawlessly - from the wardrobe, to the vocabulary, to his new dreams of one day running the city himself. He molded perfectly with the Vegas lifestyle, gained weight once he wasn't walking through the desert for days on end and had every meal already secured, and thanks to the New Vegas Medical Clinic, was able to medically transition. He thrives off of the luxury, but has to pretend he doesn't miss the old Boot Rider days sometimes.
Mostly, what he regrets about transforming the Boot Riders into the Chairmen is the loss of some of their camaraderie. There's a different kind of companionship, of ride-or-die bonding that comes with being one of a band of nomads, relying only on themselves and each other to survive the harshness of the desert. The Chairmen are still incredibly loyal to one another; the sole reason no one other than Bingo opposed Benny's choice to move into the Tops once he was the leader - not enough to physically do anything about it, anyway. But some of that closeness they used to have was lost. Benny grew distant from the rest of his tribe, rising to great heights as the leader of the Tops, the one in charge - even being adopted as House's protégé - and leaving the others in his dust.
(this is pretty much canon but) he never had a second thought about agreeing to House's offer. He never thought for a second that the Boot Riders shouldn't become the Chairmen.
Trust Issues™
Terrible at controlling his facial expressions, often pulls involuntary faces (grimaces, scrunching his face/nose, pouting, grinning humorously, etc.) (all very briefly, just a split-second reaction to something or nothing) - often there's nothing going on that would elicit such an expression; it just happens involuntarily.
Gets random muscle spasms throughout the day, mostly in his hands or feet/legs. He'll accidentally hit/kick stuff, knock stuff over, or drop anything he's carrying.
Likes to sit on the floor while he eats, but doesn't like other people to know that. He'll sometimes lock himself in a bedroom or bathroom just to eat on the floor without being given funny looks.
Gets along best with Arcade, out of all the companions/roommates living in the Lucky 38. Has semi-frequent spitting matches with Cass that start out genuinely spiteful, but eventually transform into the one way they really bond: sibling-esque bickering. They get into a fistfight pretty early on, though, after Benny makes the mistake of calling Cass "Whiskey Rose" after learning that she hates it (dick move on his part, to be fair, but did he deserve his nose broken?).
Struggles with mental illness, has hallucinations and delusions that he takes medication for (which he gets from the New Vegas Medical Clinic), but has a very low alcohol tolerance as a side effect; he tends to avoid drinking.
One of his delusions is that the city of Vegas is somehow actually, truly alive, and it chose him specifically to rule it, to lead it to a new glory - a new independence. He believes he, and he alone, can run the city the way it was meant to be run - the way it needs to be run.
Maria was given to him as a gift from House, along with the checkered suit, the wingtip shoes, and the keys to his new home: the Tops Hotel and Casino.
Even before becoming the Chairmen, living the rich man's life in Vegas, Benny had a liking for the finer things in life. Especially nowadays, he appreciates spending the extra caps for the finest of the fine, smoking a distinctive, expensive brand of cigarettes, wearing his nice suit even on a trek through the desert, etc. His favorite food is oranges, another notably expensive thing to regularly eat (they aren't exactly common in the wasteland), part of the reason why he loves them so much.
One of his favorite ways to show affection toward someone is by peeling an orange for them, handing them slices one by one.
Speaking of affection, Benny is very showy, often cheesy, in how he shows it. The grander the gesture, and more importantly, the bigger the reaction it garners, the better. He loves surprising his partner, with anything from gifts to kisses.
His breath usually smells like cigarettes and oranges, very occasionally with a hint of alcohol.
Drinks water out of wine and champagne glasses, partly for the expensive aesthetic, partly to hide the fact that it's only water that he's drinking.
Very intelligent and cunning, but tends to be short-sighted. He has these big, great plans, but overlooks the finer details, and ultimately ends up failing more often than not. (See: plotting out the courier's ambush and murder, but neglecting to ensure they were actually dead; figuring out how to (with help) reprogram an entire Securitron, but then double crossing the person who helped him; successfully sneaking all the way into the Fort, with the Platinum Chip in hand(!!!), but getting caught because he didn't wear a helmet so as to not mess up his hair, etc.).
Sleeps around; canonically a pretty boy, very much plays into the persona of the smooth-talking, sensual, gorgeous casino-owner. Either intentionally or not, his good looks can't be denied as part of the reason the Tops is as popular as it is. Who doesn't want to patronize a casino with a charming, handsome owner - who can often be found hanging out on the ground floor, overlooking the tables, talking up whoever will listen? There are some rumors, shared in a hush underneath the rolling of the roulette wheels, the overhead swing music, that Benny is the town bicycle; rumors of people he's supposedly had a fling with. He's a regular Casanova.
Paranoia™
this man is doomed by the narrative and it's making me insane
His hair is curly, but he styles it with so much gel (gotta look like a 1950s gentleman, y'know) you can't tell, save for the single curl that always seems to fail to remain smoothed back. Living with Daisy (my courier six!), especially during the recovery after Benny is rescued from the Fort, he wears his hair loose, which Daisy particularly appreciates (she loves when he lays his head on her lap/chest and she plays with his hair; much nicer when it's not all crusty or greasy with hair gel or spray).
Small feet
Canonically disappears for days - sometimes weeks - at a time, deciding on a whim to wander who-knows-where around the Mojave and be alone for a while. Brushed off by the others back in Vegas, namely by Swank, as "a cat needing some time to swing," but they get worried when the days turn into weeks. No one really knows where he goes. All they know is that in seven years, he hadn't ever failed to return - the Fort changed that (in my game, he was held captive there for several months).
Loves physical contact as a way to show affection, loves hugs, hand-holding, massages, and people playing with his hair. So does Daisy, which makes for a pair of absolute lovebirds once they're living together; they're inseparable, pretty much always touching one another, even if it's just a hand resting on the other's shoulder or waist, an arm around their shoulders, hand in hand and side by side. They're practically glued at the hip.
Bottom™
Runs his hands through his hair as an anxious habit (maybe the reason for the aforementioned loose curl), taps his feet, and bites his lip, often to the point of bleeding. He tries to be subtle in his anxious stimming, but if you know him, and know how he acts, you'll always be able to tell when he's nervous.
Used to be married to Swank, but after too much changed - after Benny changed too much - when the Boot Riders became the Chairmen, they divorced. It was Swank's idea, coming to Benny's suite one night and explaining honestly how he felt, how he felt things would continue to change moving forward, and how he realized that, in order for things to continue going smoothly, the nature of their relationship needed to change. Swank wasn't going anywhere - he had Benny's back, and nothing would change that - but he couldn't, in good conscience, continue to be Benny's husband. Too much had changed; he felt like Benny was trying to hide their relationship, treating him differently in front of others, even the other Chairmen. It didn't feel right.
Still calls Swank by the name he had before they became the Chairmen.
Never stopped wearing the wedding ring Swank gave him; switches it to his right hand after he marries Daisy.
Writes little letters, (like "Thanks, baby") and attempts to write little poems, for his partner. His . . . unique vocabulary comes across in writing, but the romance of said writing is . . . debatable.
Good leader. Like it or not, he earned his place as chief of the Boot Riders, and kept up that leadership position after the transition to the Chairmen, for seven years and still going strong when the courier comes and messes everything up.
Has big dreams, big, big ideas and hopes and ambitions. Sometimes, they're too big. Sometimes, they end up with him falling flat on his face when he tries to reach too high, to admittedly dangerous unattainable heights. Does that stop him from trying? Fuck no.
Terrible nightmares and night terrors, goes on long walks outside (usually staying within the city limits) when he's scared at night.

Creepypastas reacting to a proxy in training with a large pair of wings who tends to crash land a lot due to not having mastered certain flight maneuvers(she ends up flying into trees a lot.)?
I love writing about worldbuilding and other species :)))
Winged!Proxy
Surprisingly, Slender will be the one to teach you. He knows a great deal about flying, wing types, and how different species of beings can travel.
He taught Zalgo how to fly properly, and now he’s one of the fastest demons around, now for the worst.
Although not sporting wings himself, he’s incredibly intelligent about it.
He will set you up on the highest roof of the manor, tied securely to a tether that will keep you from plummeting from the roof below.
And even so, he can teleport you back to safety if need be.
But he’s not too kind with his critiques, he will tell you if your posture is sloppy, or you panic your flaps too much.
The most common mistake is arching your back downward, due to lack of required core muscles.
“My dear [Y/N], it is your wings that are supposed to look like an ‘M’, not your spine.” He will say as he pushes you back into the proper shape.
He even has certain connections to winged folk, and may invite them over to answer any questions that he can’t answer.
You could decide to ask around the manor, and considering all of them are either human or don’t have wings, you come to loss.
But Tim will open your eyes to something you’ve never considered.
“Have you ever gone bird watching?”
“Every bird has a different style of flying, designed for what they’ve evolved for over time, even down to the lath and weight of their feathers. Eagles have a larger body and wingspan for strength and diving. Hummingbirds have curved wings for hovering. I’d say just grab a bird book from the library and match up what’s best for you.”
And so you thanked Tim greatly, and did as he said. And it turns out, Slender and you both were completely wrong about your species, finding out you had something else mixed it that was affecting your posture and your turning speed, no matter how hard you’d try.
You’re meant to fly long distances and up vertical structures, not zip through trees like you’ve been trying to do.
And from then on, learning has been much easier, a breeze, if you will. And Slender couldn’t be more proud of you!
