- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves (optional)
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture then coat with the almond flour mixture.
5. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
6. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce on top of each chicken breast.
