Oh, because I forgot to do this earlier and people asked, your total run avoided fourteen definite deaths and one Bad Choice that, while not outright fatal, would have meant that your luck would turn sour. (That doesn’t have, like, a randomized effect, given that much of this is improv, but ropes would snap, rungs would break, just how potable IS that water, maybe the pointy people did actually see your light and are lying in wait, etc.)
(Yes, there are actually things you can do to piss off the labyrinth. I won’t go into any details, because that would be too easy, but they do tend to be fairly obviously Significant Choices.)
Overall, you made it much, much deeper into the maze than any other players have, and a couple times I had to scramble to think “Jeez, what IS in that next room, anyway?” because you’d outrun my mental map.
Good job! The cabbages are proud.

A quick sketch of Jimmy from @bookofthegear by @tkingfisher , an audience polled choose-your-own-adventure set a creepy clockwork labyrinth. Jimmy does not have a hat in the text but my brain refuses to see him in any other way. He's leaning in to tell you something perhaps informative and possibly a little unsettling.

Fun little game whenever you come across a shallow parody of YA female protagonists: take a tally of the traits she has and see how many apply to Luke Skywalker.

Some suggestions for experimenting with Jewish practice and experiencing Jewish culture
Observe one full Shabbat. For 25 hours, do no work- not even the laundry. Attend services, read and relax, but don't go shopping or cook. If you have children, do something fun together as a family on Saturday afternoon.
Attend a synagogue-sponsored retreat for a sense of what a complete communal day of rest can be.
Try to keep kosher in a basic way for a month as a way to infuse one of the most basic of human needs with Jewish content. At home and when you eat out, avoid all shellfish and pork products, don't mix meat and milk, read the labels in the supermarket and don't buy foods prepared with lard.
Plan and host a holiday celebration.
Go shopping in a kosher food store and Jewish bookstore.
Attend Jewish theater performances, Jewish choral groups, shows by touring Israeli pop stars.
Tour the local Jewish community center (JCC).
Attend an Israel Independence Day celebration.
If you are a member of a congregation, get involved in a congregational program or two. Attend an adult education class or sisterhood events. Volunteer for committee work.
Include Jewish tours and expeditions while on vacation or business trips. In New York City, visit the lower east side, the Jewish Museum and Ellis Island. In Washington go to the Holocaust Museum. In Rome, visit the ancient Jewish ghetto. Whether you find yourself in Baltimore or Bombay, try to find the oldest Synagogue in the city, or makes a pilgrimage to the best Jewish deli. If you're in a strange city on Shabbat, go to services at a local synagogue.

Okay gotta admit I'm loving how these temp tatts turned out!! I put them on on Saturday (I tested out 4) and they're all holding strong on Monday now, through 2 showers, 5 million hand washings, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
It's a temporary tattoo of this piece!

You leave the room behind and spend twenty minutes trying to get the grille more or less back in place. It doesn’t really work, but you manage to wedge it into the opening so that at least it won’t fall over on anybody. You still give it a worried glance as you leave.
The only place left to go is down the stairs, so down you go. At the bottom, you find a smallish room with an alcove, a huge iron door that someone made specifically to be intimidating, and a sloping hallway to the south. You hear frog calls echoing in the distance from the hallway.
There’s a rusty faucet in the alcove. Jimmy says, “You know what’s weird?”
You are spoiled for choice, frankly, but you humor him. “What?”
“Every time somebody turns that faucet handle, it breaks. But every time I come down here, it’s wired back into place.”
You consider this. “Magic or plumbers, do you think?”
Jimmy makes a flailing gesture with his wings. “I don’t know. Maybe this is some kind of afterlife for plumbers and the bad ones have to stay here fixing the same faucet for all eternity.”
This is an interesting theory. It doesn’t body well for your dreams of treasure, but then again, plumbers get paid way better than adventurers.

"jude and cardan had a toxic relationsh-"
no actually, they did not. there were reasons for everything that happened and just because everyone is so quick to judge things these days doesn't mean it needs to happen to them. whilst in the first book there was some initial behaviours that do support the claim, there were reasons behind them and also this is how enemies to lovers works !! they BECOME lovers. there is such a thing called a redemption arc?? not to mention we get an apology from cardan for everything he has done. toxicity is not what was in their relationship - it was ferocity. The ferocity of their love.
So let's all please stop labelling everything to ever exist toxic and focus on the people who actually need support from their toxic partners / relationships
EDIT: I would just like to clarify that I meant all this for when jude and cardan were in an actual romantic relationship together! This is by no means condoning what happened at the beginning of the books as that was most definitely wrong. I DO NOT condone any form of toxic relationship. I was trying to point out that once they were in an actual romantic relationship then they were NOT toxic and this is what some people argue they were. Apologies for any misconceptions!
