I’m doing some drawings for The Burning Kingdoms series. I know there’s no one to one regional or historical comparison being made, but what do we think is the inspo for the different city states? Ahiranya seems to draw from both the Gond and Tamil Nadu for example??? Maybe? I’m wondering because I need some visual references to ground me (clothes, plants etc).

What kind of representation do you guys want to see more in books? Wanting more books with that kind of representation to exist in general or just wanting to find more books with that kind of rep can be tricky when many bookstores or publishers only push for what is considered "mainstream" or "profitable".

Question 2? I just watched a Hunger Games tiktok, they said that Volunteering = death in District 12 and that's why they don't do it. However it's one of the poorest districts, so your telling me. think about it: aziraphale had a sword, but crowley is about to face satan who wants to destroy the world, and crowley's only weapon is a tool of creation
