imagine you're friends with the trio (shawn cory and topanga, do they have a group name?) and you usually end up crashing at one of their places because it's just easier than being home. but there's a time when all three of them are out of town and you just can't deal with being home so you go beg eric and jack to let you spend the night at their place. eric says yes immediately, jack begrudgingly agrees. bla bla bla you fall asleep on the couch and wake up in the morning with a blanket on and a glass of water on the coffee table in front of you. when eric wakes up you thank him for it and he says it was jack who did it. you find this weird because jack had always been sort of cold and distant with you. you decide to not bring it up but you start noticing him being a little more caring, as if he's taking you in as another younger sibling

Shawn is a crow gf, even if he doesn't like something if you give it to him he'll love it forever

Start from the beginning in 6th grade, sit near Shawn and consistently give him stupid little items. He'll hate it at first but he'll grow to love it and chase you

If you get sick he won't leave your side

If he hears someone say anything about you he'll start something even if it was good lmao

If Cory Disliked you he'd break up with you, but he'd still look at you everyday

The first time he introduces you to his parents he doesn't apologize because he's not embarrassed

He always ends up hurt in some way, minorly but he wants you to kiss it better every time he stubs a toe

In reference to the above point, of you don't he'll chase you until he gets it

If you play 7 minutes in heaven he's sly and all but as soon as you get in the closet he gets nervous and flustered

He likes maxi skirts and cardigans more than he likes mini skirts and tank tops

some sick headcannons w shawn hunter since i have a terrible cold rn

first things first, he’d absolutely DISTRAUGHT you’re not at school

all day shawn would be moping around, contemplating skipping the last few periods you run by your house and see what’s up

he’d hear from corey who heard from topanga, your best friend and next door neighbor that you had the flu and he instantly worried

shawn would scrape up some money and stop by the store, buying you some of your favorite snacks and a little cold medicine

shawn would have to sneak in through your window because you both knew your dad hated him, you always left it unlocked for him in case he made any late night visits

“hey pretty babe” shawn would say, lowkey scaring you as he stepped into the room. you’d be so confused

“shawn? what are you doing here?”

he’d tell you he heard you were sick and you’d be instantly embarrassed. used tissues on the floor, your face all puffy and your congestion made your voice sound just horrid. you felt like shit and thought you looked it too

“what are you talking about? you look beautiful.” shawn would say as he put down the stuff he brought for you on your nightstand

he’d kiss you a million times even though you told him not to because he might get sick too

shawn would definitely swaddle you up in a hoodie, tuck you into bed and sneak into your kitchen

he’s snoop through the cabinets before finding some canned chicken noodle soup and heating it up for you

you’d try to protest but it’d be no use, he was definitive about it

after eating the soup, shawn forced you to drink what seemed like a gallon of ginger ale before finally allowing you to have at the gummy worms

he’d cuddle with you in bed, trying to keep you warm and not caring at all that it might get him sick too

you could feel tiny kisses being placed on your face as you drifted off to sleep, all comfy in shawn’s arms

So apparently my brain has decided to get back into Sonic again I say already 27 episodes through rewatching Sonic X. Anyway. I love my kids ESPECIALLY Chris to this day I do not understand why people hate on him so much. He’s baby

watching boy meets world s2 is so funny bc it feels like every episode we're being told in some new way that cory has a severe case of comphet ... the way he just cannot understand how pairing off works no matter how hard he tries, the way he asks topanga out not because of any genuine feelings but because everyone else is pairing off and he doesnt want to be an outsider, the way he seems genuinely terrified of being in relationships and pursuing girls for the rest of his life like its an inevitability he does not want, the way he becomes way more enthusiastic about dating once eric tells him he doesnt even have to like the girl hes pursuing, the way he literally never pursues a girl because he likes her but because of some outside force (a dance, a party, the girl asks him first, general societal pressure etc), shawn telling him "the closet is your friend" ?????????? cory sees the idea of heterosexual relationships as an inevitability in life, he seeks it out not because he genuinely wants to date girls but because thats just what you're supposed to do if you're a guy. its just so interesting to me, especially because of how it completely contrasts the many retcons from season 3 and on that assert that cory, in fact, has been capable of feeling heterosexual love this whole time and actually has been dating topanga since the age of 5 or 3 or since infancy or whatever. i understand they try to explain away his aversion to girls in s1-2 by saying that cory just had a phase in which he was grossed out by girls and didn't want to date them, but even then i don't think a 12-14 year old who is going through a cooties phase would be THIS invested in trying to date several different girls just to not be othered. corys desperation for conformity and how that manifests itself in chasing after a heteronormative fantasy is so baked into his character and it feels so unintentional yet so purposeful at the same time

Apparently, Girl Meets World makes it canon that Eric never has any kids, and excuse me, but I call bullshit.

People who hate on girl meets world piss me off to no end because they hate on it for the dumbest reasons. There are so many valid reasons to hate on the show but they completely ignore them for the most superficial points that just prove their only problem is that its a show with 2 female main characters who just live their life.

Like they could talk about how weird it was that maya and josh were made endgame when she was like 16 and he was 19 and how that is setting a bad example for all the young people who watch the show. Or the weird autism episode where they demonised autism as if they didn't make 2 of the main characters (riley and farkle) autism coded.

But no. Instead their criticisms lie in the fact that maya and riley the MAIN CHARACTERS have conversations in class and are taught lessons about life through their classes and that they don't include the background characters. As if that is not every peice of media ever. Boys meets world did exactly the same thing but no one complained about that. In fact gmw did it better, most of the background characters were recurring and would even have personalities which was more than bmw did.

Or that riley didn't know any of the bad things that happened in the world when it was literally explained in the show that her friends hid the bad part of the world from her. They had had awful lives and had dealt with bad things most of their lives so were cynical and wary of the world even at such a young age. But riley was different. She was the sunshine in a cloudy horrible world and they wanted to keep that part of her innocent qnd so would hide bad things from her. I think this is another way she was autism coded.

The fact that she didn't like change and took peoples words very literally. She dressed quite eccentric and was sometimes completely in her own world. She didn't know how to smile properly and would do things that were inappropriate and would have to be told to stop. The autism episode would have been better if both farkle and riley had gotten a diagnosis.

Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World is demisexual/romantic

He, of course, mostly only dates Topanga who he's known forever. When they break up he has difficulty connecting with other girls even when he finds them to be nice and pleasant people.

The only other girl he's seriously interested in is ski lodge girl, who he only develops an interest in after spending all night talking to her and building an emotional connection.
