BBC PIECE REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE "ISRAEL" RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDER OF FOREIGN AID WORKERS
📹 Footage from a BBC piece covering the deaths of 7 foreign aid workers with the World Central Kitchen (WCK) in an Israeli airstrike refuses to mention "Israel" as the party responsible for the slaughter.
The piece dances around ever mentioning the party responsible for the airstrike, instead discussing the "deaths" of the 7 foreign aid workers in "an airstrike". Even though Palestinian resistance forces do not possess such capabilities.
The piece even mentions how WCK coordinated its movements with the "IDF" (Israeli occupation forces [IOF]) but fails to connect the coordination with the murderous airstrike itself, choosing to avoid any mention of Zionist responsibility for the murder of the aid workers, which included British, Australian and Polish nationals, along with a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen and one Palestinian.

If you are in the UK, another thing you can do is sign this petition and contact your MP in support of MP Zarah Sultana’s bill to stop UK sales of arms to Isreal and any other state that might use them for war crimes.
Since 2015, the UK government has made arms sales to Isreal worth £474 MILLION. These sales include parts of the F-35 fighter jets currently being used in the genocide of Palestinians.

RIP Paul O'Grady
It's heart-breaking. I grew up watching this man take cracks at our shitty right-wing governments, treat dogs and humans alike with so much kindness, and make British drag something to be proud of.
He was a really special man, and he did so much for the Queer community in Britain, and so much for all the people whose lives he touched.
My thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends.
Give 'em hell, Lil.

"British anti-monarchists said on Sunday that they planned to protest during the coronation of King Charles in May, saying the ceremony was “a slap in the face” for most people struggling with high inflation.
Campaign group Republic said it had been in contact with London’s police force about its plans to hold a peaceful demonstration in Parliament Square, which is overlooked by Westminster Abbey where British monarchs are crowned.
“The coronation is a celebration of hereditary power and privilege, it has no place in a modern society,” Graham Smith, Republic’s chief executive, said.
“At a cost of tens of millions of pounds, this pointless piece of theater is a slap in the face for millions of people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.”
Buckingham Palace said on Saturday that the coronation would be celebrated with processions, a concert at Windsor Castle, street parties, light shows and community volunteering.
Charles, 74, became king in September after his mother Queen Elizabeth died. The coronation will take place on May 6."

Okay, bear with me, I’m not British.
So, to my understanding, to sum things up, Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of England, refused to resign after there were calls for him to.
So 50+ people that work for him resigned??? Am I getting that right??? All in 24 hours??
Then he resigned and people appear to be very happy about it
Oh also Larry the cat has the peoples vote for the new PM

🇬🇧 🚨 💷 BRITISH MILITARY FACES A £17 BILLION EQUIPMENT FUNDING SHORTFALL OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS
Britain's National Audit Office (NAO) is reporting that Britain's Armed Forces are facing a £17 Billion ($21.6 Billion) shortfall over the next 10-years for military equipment acquisition.
According to the report, the estimated cost for weapons and equipment acquisition for the period lasting from 2023 to 2033 is expected to be £305.5 Billion, a total of £16.9 Billion over budget.
In response, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps dismissed concerns over the military acquisition budget, telling reporters "the department is confident it can live within its equipment budget" and insisting that there were also scenarios in which the Ministry of Defense (MoD) would have a surplus over 10 years.
The UK's MoD has already boosted defense spending this year, increasing the budget from about 2% of GDP to approximately 2.25% of GDP.
Shapps also said the report does not account for the current government's goal of raising British Defense spending to 2.5% of GDP whenever economic conditions allowed.
In a statement, the head of the NAO, Gareth Davies said that "The Ministry of Defence acknowledges that its Equipment Plan for 2023–2033 is unaffordable," and that decisions over scrapping or scaling back projects deemed unaffordable should not be deferred, risking "poor value for money."
However, the NAO believes the deficit could go even higher, because their report does not include the cost of developing future capabilities nor does it include the cost of extending the life of some equipment like tanks and armored vehicles.

As someone who is british and watches british news, why is this something BBC news, ITV news, Channel 4 news etc either hardly report on or do not report on at all? Where is the outrage? Where is the ATTENTION at the very least? Don’t ever stop holding the media accountable for failing to cover this news. Don’t ever stop demanding answers from the government as to why they are allowing this genocide to continue.

To all my fellow brits, don't forget that all supermarkets and restaurants will be closed on Monday so now is probably the best time to get any essential shopping done.
