Speaking of Sugary Spire, I was chatting with my girlfriend about the old lore of it? Like, Im sure most ppl know the lore was Peppino and Noise swapping places specifically because of an Incident and they get amnesia and go crazy. (A general summary--) And I admitted to her that like... I don't like that lore? hdfhf It's for fun and for goofs, not meant to be that deep. But like, there's so many aus lately where "person gets concussed and gets amnesia" or somethin and it's boring to me. Amnesia aus are boring to me-- and I also mentioned to her that I think Pizzano and Pizzelle are so separated from Peppino and Noise - as their own characters - for them to be specified to "used to be them but they just snapped one day." Does that make any sense? Like it's an au, I don't expect that they USED to be the OG Peppino and Noise - they're new people! they're SWAPPED places because that's just what their universe is like! That's how it works in my mind, anyway... Pizzelle and Pizzano are more unique now.

#not to mention I always got the random vibe that pizzelle getting amnesia as noise and then also being teased as a transfemme is odd?#im sure they didnt mean to imply somethings so wrong with noise that noise is trans now - that's entirely just me grasping a bit!!#but I always felt like that was weird #like specifically the hype of 'PIZZELLE AND PIZZANO ARE JUST THEM BUT CRAAAZIERRRR HAAA' and then Pizzelle being trans-- didnt mesh well--#IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN #I just don't like the lore of Sugary Spire and I hear theyre updating it but Im unaware of what the lore for them is now #and I still see ppl making content as if the og lore is still true (which is fine if they find ways to enjoy it)#but like yeaaa I think Pizzelle and Pizzano are seperated from that #there's too many aus where 'Peppino beats someone up and they get amnesia' /lh /aff

#tumblr polls #hrmm... a little poll perhaps.. about a subject I find interesting.. since this image came across my facebook today #still really not feeling that well. no longer shaking violently and such but I still feel weird and weak much more than usual #They did say my markers for like infection or inflammation were elevated but that they werent sure of the cause so hopefully #it's nothing too serious. they did also say a lot of different things can cause that thing to be higher than normal but didn't go into spec #fics of what. maybe some of them are relatively benign or something. I still havent felt much back to normal since #I got really sick that one time though. I feel fine on and off but then little bouts of feeling weird and sick happen. hrmmm #ANYWAY.. looking for small ways to be productive. such as little doodles on evil ipad or editing game videos #or posting polls or cat pictures or some other like not very labor intensive things #I WISH I COULD FOCUS on writing HHRGGhh... I need to finish my game.. it would be so freeing.. a project that's been looming #over my head for like 5 years even though througouht that 5yrs I've probably spent a total of 3 months working on it lo.. ANYWAY #I still partially really cannot beleive that people CAN see stuff in their heads. There's always part of me that's thinking like. well mayb #e everyone DOES see the same exact thing but we just describe/conceptualize it so differently that we think we're talking about #different things when we're really not. But I have been assured by people I've talked to about it that they can GENUINELY really see #stuff in their heads like as vivid as an actual picture in real life or something. And the other senses are neat too. Like for exmaple I #can hear in my head much better than I can see imagery. I still CANNOT hear vividly like as if I were listening to actual music out loud..#but I think it's developed more than my sight. AND interesting how this varies the creative process. a friend I was talking to on the phone #said they write by literally just watching stuff play before them like a movie. where my process is COMPLETELY different. AND that affects #the content/what details we focus on as well as our individual styles of writing have differences that can be traced back to that.. hrmm

honestly I feel a little guilty for saying it but I do think out of all of the dogs so far, I’ve bonded with Kepler the fastest.

Boone was my first dog and unfortunately there were just a lot of factors in my life at the time (location, work, my mental health, the separation anxiety, etc) that made the first few months a struggle. he was the only dog I would say I had “puppy blues” with, ironically. obviously we worked past it, but I was always a little bummed that we never had that “instant connection” I’d always read about.

Stellina was by far the easier puppy, but she was also my first puppy ever and I had a lot of anxiety and insecurity about how to handle that. she’s also always been more independent (by herding dog standards, at least) and I’ve felt like I’ve had to put in more work than expected to build a relationship - and don’t get me wrong, I think it’s paid off wonderfully, but, again, it wasn’t like a super easy, effortless thing.

Kep is obviously still very new, and he’s had more annoying Puppy behaviors than stellina, but the relationship/bond part just feels like it’s come a lot more naturally. it very well might be that now I’m just a lot more experienced and comfortable bringing in new dogs - I’m not on edge like I was with Boone, or fretting over everything like with Stellina. He also seems more people-focused than Stellina, which probably also affects things. Idk, it’s still so early and I don’t want to set unreasonable expectations for myself, but I’m still optimistic and hopefully if things keep going on this trajectory, he’s going to be a very special dog one day.

#I hear people talk about the ‘heart dog’ concept so much and it’s always felt a bit weird to me bc I don’t think I’ve ever had that #like I’m not saying it’s not a thing for OTHER people. but I also wonder if what people say a ‘heart dog’ relationship #is something I’ve already experienced. or if it genuinely is something different. Idk. It sounds a bit woo-y sometimes #or maybe I’m just missing out and everyone else is right idk #relationships are weird and highly nuanced and I’m never quite sure how to categorize them

It is truly fascinating how the common tumblr narrative around John and Paul somehow makes the guy who literally got violent multiple times over people insinuating he was queer appear more "on board with the whole gay thing" than the guy who said some awkward/dated stuff in interviews a couple of times.

Just gonna say it again- I really hate when people flanderise John to just some “always angry guy” who’s always bitchy but actually an uwu tsundere. Like seriously John in canon is a lot more stoic and composed yet EVERY fan content I see of him has him be constantly angry and hot headed like he’s Fuuta! And it makes me upset because I really love John and he’s probably the most flanderised character I’ve seen so far ever and just. Ugh I want people to properly understand him instead having him be a ship tool.

I love getting validated on small things that I didn't even consider like it's always a treat and this time it's Gender

The Fundie Baby Voice™️ has been popping up a lot in ex-christian spaces lately and I actually had one in middle school and part of high school! I learned when and where to use it and how to turn up my southern accent just enough. I can still do it but it sounds weird after 3 years on T. The main place I used it was at church cause it made me sound sweet and polite. I used it for old ladies when I worked at a grocery store too. My family didn't like it when we were just all together cause they said it sounded like baby talk, but loved it when I used it at church cause everyone would tell them how sweet and soft-spoken I was

My therapist said it actively made him feel uncomfortable when I used that voice. He couldn't quite put his finger on why it made him uncomfortable (other than him only knowing me on T) but he very much did not like it and he's so so right for that

#he's a cishet white jewish man so it's always a treat when I talk about something like this #cause it started off about how I felt like my gender is a performance and I will use it to my advantage #I usually talk fairly neutrally and monotone so people find it uncanny when I change it up #especially if it's the way I talk to my family and the church folks that ask about me #Now that I'm on T and had top surgery I love fucking with ppl via my gender presentation #I like the chaos of not correcting ppl and watching them fight amongst themselves over what my gender is #My previous gender was Weird Little Girl #and now i'm Just Some Guy #I don't feel like I was always a guy I feel like my gender at the time was Weird Little Girl #and it changed over time but I loved the performance of being a weird little girl #I was not a girl I was specifically a WLG #And well I still know how to use my old performances even if I'm no longer a weird little girl #I consider myself a guy but not a man and a girlie but not a woman #my gender is whatever is funniest at the moment #My gender is whatever you project onto me. My gender is a mirror to your childhood trauma #anyways I kinda lost the plot but yea I can kinda still use the fundie baby voice but it sounds a lil off #cause I've been on T for over 3 years now #ex christian #religious trauma
