Prompt 89
The young justice team is in a bit of a pickle. It had been a usual mission, Klarion causing mischief again, before someone had mentioned the date.
The literal chaos lord had shrieked, stopping his attack, and asked for clarification. Maybe that wasn’t a good idea because one moment they were in Happy Harbour, and the next they’re somewhere else with green everywhere and floating islands.
And Klarion doesn’t explain- not that they were expecting him to- and just bolts into a… wow that is a very big and scary looking castle. Keep? Honestly it’s if someone combined a gothic citadel with a clocktower of some sort.
Not important, because they had chased after Klarion who uh… Oh no, that is a Very big entity, that is two Very Big entities that could crush them in their fingers. And they are now stuck in this place seeing as the portal closed behind them.
Honestly Klarion is happy he made it home before curfew! Even if he had to bring his sort-of-friends with him to make it in time. It’s not his fault, he’s not used to having a guardian, nevermind two! Not to mention siblings, which he’s now the oldest of too, so he has to be a positive influence. Like teaching them how to properly do chaos without destroying a world.
Oh, but this is perfect anyway, one of his dads has been wanting to talk to the speedsters anyway, and his other dad is still under house arrest for the whole, trying to take over the living realm thing. But that’s not important, he has little siblings to introduce!

The Batman gets locked up in walkers prison! 😲
Walker left the zone to arrest him too why? Because clearly he is neglecting the child king! Smh. 😔 Walker greatly respects the rules but now that King Phantom is in place he respects something more. This child has brought order back to the zone (not really he kinda just wrote off some rules for Walker to enforce to get him out of his hair) and even after Walker imprisoned him too! So now hes back to his old ways of bending the rules to fit his whims. But this weird Bat Man person is deserving of a harsh punishment, that or a good thrashin’, for how hes done gone and treated their new King! Can’t the man tell the boy has a familial bond with ‘em? For cryin out loud the youngin already gave em core charm! No all the others can clearly see plain as day that hes apart of the boys family. (Danny made Batman an ice ward that helps protect from other ghosts… or so he thought oops it’s telling all the other ghosts that hes Danny fam)
Yet despite all this the man still is refusing to bring the kid into his fold. You don’t just go on and do that to a young one. Their King is only a baby and now this man has gone and ignored him like hes plans to go out to get some milk and never come back. Can’t he see how this is affecting his development? Walker wont have anyone doin that to his ghost King No Sir. Hes gonna education this man himself if he has to. Rehabilitation is something he can do. It’s within his jurisdiction after all.

unstoppable force (you’re bleeding out and will most definitely die if medical attention isn’t sought immediately and the door is open. the door is open and you can leave) vs immovable object (the way his jaw feels beneath your hand and the way his voice sounds begging you to stay and the way those things will surely haunt you for the rest of your life if you leave. if you live. the door is open but his hand is wrapped around your wrist and you can already see him behind your eyes every time you close them and

i love how unfatherly crowley and aziraphale both are when it comes down to it. sure aziraphale is more than willing to give the young people in his life help and advice and be their friend but he and crowley spent six years (eleven in the book) practically raising a kid (you just know his parents weren't around that often) and by the end they didn't even like him. crowley even suggested they just fucking kill him. he turned three kids into lizards for annoying him right after he destroyed their house. like it was that or kill them obviously but he did NOT hesitate with the newts. that's so funny to me. they're just inherently disinclined to parenthood. we need more characters like them actually

I understand Gaming is probably pronounced "gah-ming" (or something similar). I know this. I get it. When I saw his name, that was my instinctual pronunciation because I knew it wouldn't be pronounced like the English word. It's a lovely name.
HOWEVER
That does not change the fact that having to search "genshin impact gaming" makes it infinitely more difficult to find what you're looking for.

Ever think about Date’s view on family and how that relates to his character? When Mizuki asks him to define family, he just awkwardly offers that its like being blood related to someone. It leaves a bitter taste in his mouth and Mizukis, but like, he literally had no idea what a real family looks like. He’s an orphan, a man who grew up with no family and no name, but he doesn’t know that yet. He has no memory of his past, no way of knowing if there’s someone out there waiting for him to come home, if he even had a place to call home. His only frame of reference for a family is Mizuki and her parents. Deep down he knows it’s not right, not loving, but it fits the mold of a nuclear family, man and woman, blood related, so that must be what family is. When he’s asked to take in Mizuki, he’s absolutely clueless because he literally has zero frame of reference for how a child is supposed to be cared for. He puts distance between them because this isn’t his place, he doesn’t have the right to love this child as his own because he isn’t the real dad. There’s no place for someone like him in a family. And it’s baffling to him to hear that Mizuki not only loves him, she needs him because he is her family. Date believes he’s a nobody, just a sad, lonely man with no name who absolutely does not deserve this kind of love. But he has it anyway because he chooses it, he makes something that neither he nor Mizuki have ever had before. HES HOME

[Catching Kim on the walk of shame back to his apartment after his drunken one night stand with Chay]
Tankhun catches on immediately to Kim’s weird vibes.
“Did he force you?”
“What? No.” Kim doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Chay could never force him into anything, let alone sex. Kims only regret about last night—the best night of his life—is that he barely remembers it. His one chance with the boy he loves, and all he has are vague flashes and impressions, promising a night very much worth remembering. “I’m fine, Khun. Just… just tired.”
“Hmph. Be careful, little Kim, I sense you’re playing with fire.”
“It isn’t going to happen again.”
Khun doesn’t look convinced. But he doesn’t push the matter, throwing his scarf over his shoulder with a haughty sigh and stalking away, his entourage in tow.
—
[Khun confronts Chay over the incident.]
“Be careful with him, he’s very sensitive, you know.”
“Who is?” Chay asks, bewildered at the sudden subject change.
“You know who. He feels things very deeply, as much as he pretends he’s as soulless as the rest of us.” Tankhun points a strict finger at Chay. “Don’t hurt him. I adore you both. Don’t make me choose between my darlings, yes?”
Chay nods dumbly. He doesn’t think it would be much of a choice, but he doesn’t say as much.
