The older I get the more I realize these things about dating.

I have been trying to have deep connections and stimulating conversations for some time.

This doesn't seem to work. Especially on dating apps for I guess obvious reasons.

But as an observant, shy, lonely and somewhat intelligent person ( who happens to be gay) I have unfortunately never found love or relationships myself.. I have only seen it through other people

It's pretty apparent that dating is for simple people. I don't mean this in an arrogant way but a majority of individuals seem to not take the question asking part of dating seriously. Idk if this is due to them not being attracted, busy, simple minded or a more narcissistic culture but it is apparent to me that the closer these people are to my location, the less they are willing to learn more about me.

I wonder why that is? 🤔 I've had plenty of engaging online, non dating app conversations with people all over the world.

So part of me thinks that this is due to our new emotionless, soulless culture. Because this problem only exists when I engage with potential matches that can turn into reality.

The need for connection is still there. Fear is holding us back.

Why are people so afraid of reality? What are they running from? Themselves? Other people? Is the world in such a bad place right now that we feel like if we make a connection we know it will probably end up broken like the society we live in? 💔

The more I observe dating and other people's love lives the more it is apparent to me that deep, intellectual, stimulating conversations are not a part of the game AT ALL.

( take it as a grain of salt but from my observations dating goes like this)

One, attraction is the 1# thing! Because if you don't have it there is no fuel to get anything going. The car won't even get out of the lot. Especially off apps.

Secondly, the man usually takes action by getting the girl on the date as fast as possible..he has to woo her by showing her a fun, spontaneous, adventurous, humorous, and flirtatious time.

It is usually filled with banter, funny nostalgic stories, flirting and none of that would even matter if the two ( especially the man who usually carries the convo) was not attracted.

You can seriously make anything work with mutual sexual attraction. I've seen two plain and boring people talk for hours about nothing but because they had those saucer eyes for eachother it just worked! They definitely don't talk about work or deep concepts.

So the man drains his ( or if hes in his 20s) his daddy's resources on the girl to have a "fun" time..meanwhile his sexual motivation is keeping it going because she obviously has many other options.

The girl then looks pretty and vets if he is worthy for a LTR.

If so, she gets brought into this new, advantageous, silly, successful man's life and uses him as a tool to get away from her boring and domesticated life. She uses him for fun, community, hobbies and eventually family.

She uses his resources as a way to post on tiktok, fb and ig to show off to all of her friends " look at the amazing, good looking and successful guy I am able to get" mostly to show status as a woman and to make her friends jealous..because they were mean to her in the past.

None of her *connection* to her man has pretty much anything to do with conversation. ( sounds harsh I know but hear me out)

If you doubt this why do men and women immediately separate at Christmas parties and work events?

Have you ever observed a straight guy talking to a straight girl before? At any age?

It's usually a girl talking with her friends about things that doesn't interest him and his eyes roll over astrology and the girl eye rolling about video games or sports banter. Exc...

It's pretty obvious how for 95% of the population..male and female worlds have NOTHING to do with eachother. And want NOTHING to do with eachother except for what each gender lacks...

Emotional support from the woman and financial stability from the man. What binds them is sex and what keeps them together is family.

In the typical female way I am relying too much on talking, not much action. And in a very unfair lesbian way I can't seem to find my opposite.

Maybe a Mario? Are Marios still a thing?? I played Oregon Trail on my mac once. Stick some story in it. Give it the Muffin treatment, kids like Muffins!"

1) What non-story-based gameplay mechanic you're stealing ("It's like a Mario!") 2) What story set in the Twilight Universe (tm) you've decided is most game-able. 3) Where you're spending the big bucks.

Caveat

Twilight already is a video game: it's a visual novel. You are Bella Swan, first person point of view, checking out hottie mchottie across the hall. You don't know it, but the wrong action you take, even if it's arriving in the parking lot late: you die.

It's up to you to find Bella's golden path to survival which is in fact the Twilight novels we know and love.

Ordinarily, I'm a big skeptic of medium jumps without much thought, especially to and from video games as they usually don't transition well. However, in this case, we're already there.

You don't even have to change that much of the narrative structure since it's all in first person and we have the visuals as we know exactly what everyone looks like down to what exact shade of red their hair is.

There's not much for me to do.

But That Will Never Fly/Isn't What You Asked For

It sounds like this merger corporation doesn't really understand Twilight or video games which is not surprising. So, I have to make a real person video game which is just like that thing the kiddos are playing.

And since I'm going to hell anyway: I'm making a Twilight game that's RDR/GTA styled and we're going wild.

You're Bella Swan going to high school but you can wander around the town of Forks/the world at large and do whatever the fuck you want. This often gets you killed horribly. You go to Mexico: you're eaten by vampires. You go to Alaska: you get fucked by vampires and have a wild time in their sauna. You go to Egypt: some guy named Amun locks you in a tomb where you hang out with Benjamin, Tia, and Amun's angry wife. You can take missions for the Volturi, which they never asked you to do, and every time you collect a bounty a Volturi member will give you a weird look and ask "what the fuck is wrong with you/why are you here?" but you'll earn in game rewards as they publicly shame you.

You can also get into affairs with your human friends and ruin Jessica's love life, go to Prom with five people, and so on and so forth.

You can also get involved in the La Push community where they stare at you for being this person who clearly doesn't belong and try to seduce Leah into a lesbian love affair with you. (This is a very difficult quest, Leah's not impressed and very confused and going through it with Sam right now). You get to hear all of people's drama that's going on in the side lines.

The actual plot is dating Edward, and somehow, he doesn't notice all your wild adventures because he can't read your mind and while he's been stalking you every time you leave the state he loses your scent.

Your missions are surprisingly difficult as you have to avoid death by Edward by saying the right things and avoid death by everything else in the universe by navigating Port Angeles correctly (shockingly hard as the rapists somehow corner you at every turn). You also get missions during the Hallucination Edward arc as you have to do increasingly difficult and dangerous things to get Hallucination Edward to appear at which point your player character gets sweet sweet endorphins.

In the online player mode, where you've probably become a vampire, you can engage in vampire warfare where the losing condition is you killed too many humans so the Volturi come to kill all of you.

And yes, of course, there is an honor system but you blow it yourself as Bella's honor plummets during New Moon when she has to endanger herself and others to see Edward.

The money's going into a) graphics b) the sheer open worldness allowed in the number of quests, the random events, and all that good points.

Conclusion

I imagine they ask me how I will market this game to Twilight's audience, who are presumably the only ones who will play this game, and I claim, "Young women love grand theft auto!"

And with scrolling through Tumblr , YOU STUMBLE UPON ENDLESS AMOUNT OF DRAMA AND HATE! :’D And currently, I often read that apparently, a group of SolarMoon shippers, I think, sent people, who DON'T ship it and are most of the time MINORS, gore pictures through links or something??? IDK IT'S MORE CONFUSING AND MESSIER THAN FNAF LORE QWQ I think that's where the hatred towards SolarMoon shippers comes from: First, from the "the ChOsEn SolarMOon ShiPperS group" [Just a made-up name lol XD] and secondly, because of this debate wherever it's incest or not. But hey, that's just a theory, A TSAMS THEORY! :D

And to finally add my silly opinion to it because of this hate I REALLY MUCH SAW: This is JUST a toxic minority of the SolarMoon shippers! Yeah, maybe some will now type out "No WaY >:O" BUT YES, THIS ISN’T IMPOSSIBLE, I KNOW – SHOCKING REVELATION THAT WILL CHANGE HUMANITY FOREVER! >:D AND I HAVE A REASONING! BASED ON FACTS! sorry this is a little bit ramble-y, and I don’t normally post stuff like this but bear with me, i am processing gjfhdhffh

first of all: this is NOT directed at anyone in particular. this is not about anyone or anything anyone has done. this is me, a lesbian, having some dialogue with myself about representation and the way people think and talk and engage with fictional lesbians! this is not a blast on anyone, just general mindfulness, and wanting to work through some of my own hesitation abt things.

im having a difficult time engaging w the grander audience turning the boys into dykes, because i can never be sure where they’re coming from, yknow? like why i was hesitant to post before (it took me over a year to post my butch buddie silhouettes) and why im not sure if i want to post some other for-fun doodling ive done…

bc there Are lesbians on the show. there are specifically Black Lesbians, canonically, on the show

and like. idk. i dont want the things i say or post to be fuel for anyone being weird yknow? My Fake Lesbians Are Not Better Than The Real Lesbians Already On The Show

and i know that, and i know my friends know that but. I don’t have control over how people take the things I make. and i don’t want that to inadvertently make someone get enthusiastic in the wrong way that makes like, for example, black fans of the show, or specifically maybe black lesbians who watch, see an influx in people being 10x more delighted by these white boy reduxes than the real actual lesbians on the show. and yeah, sure, we could say “it’s just because they’re like a shiny new toy!” but we all know that isn’t all of it.

LIKE. MAYBE THIS IS IRRATIONAL. but. idk i have a sizable audience, i get a lot of traction, the things i say and post travel sometimes! people see what i post. people engage with and build off of things that i post. and, historically, this fanbase is Really Fucking Weird About Women And People Of Color

for the most part, playing in this sandbox is just a fun exercise for me, a lesbian. don’t get me wrong, i LOVE blasting characters with my Dyke Laser Beam and making them into women who love women. I’ll do it all day every day. i had soooooo much fun drawing butch buddie. i live for that shit. but! idk! im happy kicking around my own funhouse, but i feel like i need to take all of that into account if i make any of that public. yknow? community responsibility or whatever. i know it’s not on me if someone takes it in a bad direction, but! if i was the one who inadvertently facilitated that! i will feel awful! and tbh, there’s no guarantee that I haven’t done that already!

im just having fun, and you should be too! but this stuff makes me nervous! i don’t have any control over other people, and i just don’t want to be the cause of easily avoidable discomfort for others.

The Master Chief is a badass supersoldier who Doesn't Take Off His Helmet.* (I thought it had turned out he was a woman and the fan base rioted but apparently I mixed him up with Samus Aran?) There's a couple AI people, Roland the orange dude and Cortana the hot chick. There's a guy named Arbiter, I think he's an alien? Aliens destroy a lot of planets. There's some sort of mystical Old Ones leftover tech? (Is that the Halo part?) Names I have heard: Miranda Keyes, Dr. Halsey, Makee, Thomas Lasky, Chyler Silva**

That established, let's give this thing a go!

Nice opening scene. The costuming and set design are good, definitely have that Star Wars-esque vibe but are doing some of their own specific things that ground the world. The characters definitely gave you that lived-in-universe feel of established relationships and community right away. (Also I'm delighted by their use of Korean and their made-up alien language. Again, nice worldbuilding.) I am, however, confused. There's also an entire rebelling against the galactic empire thing going on? No one told me this. How do these people find the time with all the aliens?

Oh shit, THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE ALIENS. Oh noooo.

The violence is really well done. The explosion plus blood splatter shot was great. Good use of camera work to minimize the more difficult to pull off FX shots while still getting the brutality across. The helmet-cam shots are a good storytelling choice while also being a fun nod to the games. I do not envy the stunt people fighting in these suits, though. They made them look powerful. They did not make them look dexterous, graceful or effectively designed for hand-to-hand combat.

Noooo they killed the little kid! ...and everybody else. Man, I liked those guys. Poor Kwan. (Is she in the games? Is she this ineffective? She was like, I'm going to help! and then just... didn't.) And then the Spartans just... walk off?

DO NOT TOUCH THE WEIRD ALIEN TECH. You're a Master Chief! I have it on good authority that keeping people from touching things they shouldn't is a major part of your job! Set a good example for your troops! Also, check your six.

It's Dr. Halsey! Mad scientist alert, this woman does NOT seem to adhere to ethical guidelines. Nice lab coat. I don't trust you. Why do you have a person in a pod? (Why do you have them right where your boss can see them if they're not supposed to exist?) Who's Miranda Keyes and why do you have beef with her? Departmental rivalry?

Wow, Miranda is a lot younger than I expected. Also, that was terrible. Take care of the girl, butter her up, THEN ask her for shit. And do it in person, the hologram thing was weird and off-putting. Not sure that Kwan thought this through-- there's a happy medium between agreeing to be their propaganda mouthpiece and openly threatening to lie and say they caused the massacre, sweetie.

Alien homeworld (or homebase, idk)-- very cool design, good effects-- why is there a human here? Oh, THIS is Makee? What is her deal? Great costuming.

HALSEY IS MIRANDA'S MOM??? Wtf. Also I like Miranda, I don't think she knows what she's doing outside of her (own) lab but it sounds like her heart's in the right place. Great parting shot at dad, but also, maybe that's why your parents worked (for however long. Are they still together or not?)

Great scene with Kwan and Master Chief over the meal. Humanize him with a joke and then WHAM, dead mom story. I like how they're not letting you assume that Madrigal's people were just wrong about the Spartans. Nope, straight up, this guy commits atrocities because he never questions his orders. (She implied that she was there? How did that part go down?) Fortunately teenagers question everything, especially orders! Just in time to make you question this one...

From here on out it's action action action, with a lot of quick character bits mixed in (Halsey and Captain Keyes exchanging looks, the Spartans all listening to Halsey above their orders, high command doesn't trust their own creations-- how many different ways of monitoring their own ships do they have? This is taking surveillance state to a whole new level.)

YAY for Kwan getting a useful moment! If human strength does not avail, use guns tools, that's what we invented them for. No, Kwan, this man does not have a plan. I'm kinda sad the alien artifact activated, it would have been entertaining to watch the other Spartans get involved. (John: "This is our new pet. No, we will not be handing her over to be executed. Yes, she hates us all for very specific valid personal reasons. Roll with it.") Aaaand off they go, escaping to where? Not sure they know and I, with approximately 1% knowledge of this universe, certainly do not.

Finally, hopping back to address the One True Issue that divides the fandom: the helmet scene. It depends on how much the Never Remove the Helmet thing is an irl game artistic choice vs an in-universe character choice. If it's not an actual THING for John-117 himself, then I don't have any problem with it. Different mediums and all that. If it's like the Mandalorian thing, then yeah, it felt a little rushed, but still a necessary moment for humanizing him and building trust ASAP with a hostile teenage girl with a gun.

In conclusion: this was much better than I was expecting! I really enjoyed it and will probably watch the rest of the season while I bake today. And honestly it's been so long since I watched scifi on TV that it was sort of nostalgic? I was just ridiculously pleased by things like establishing shots of Reach and futuristic teenager haircuts.

I think what always makes it weird for me to think about my childhood as abuse is that my parents were not bad providers. Like when we think of the basic role of a parent, it's for the kid to survive. And they (mostly my Mom) did that; I didn't go hungry, I didn't go without. Might have had to deal with snotty kids picking on my clothes and lack of toys, and I had to work my way through college, but i had water to wash with and a nice house. As far as the outside world goes, I turned out great bc I had a great start.

And they were loving! I think that's what made it... So confusing. I love my parents. Like, my parents are very affectionate people! They're not stupid, they enjoy fun, played videogames and sang songs and read, and they generally loved us. But that shit felt so... Conditional. Like for every moment I felt like I was being loved, I felt like I had to do something to maintain it. Get good grades, be pretty, never do anything wrong.

That's why I pretty much hated my folks from age 10 to about 21. It was a constant battle, a "you're not existing and believing the way I want you to", to the point that we had bruising, blood spilling fights, many of which to this day I think about and am filled with the same murderous rage. Then my dad got depressed bc the economy and started becoming an incel right as I hit teendom, so THAT made it far worse.

and I would be pissed as hell at my mom bc she acted like that shit between me and my dad was equivalent. Idk if anyone will even see this but this entire situation makes me so sad. I have truly enjoyed being able to watch the QSMP and see such diverse multicultural fan and creator community flourish for so long. It was so fun to see streamers interact and create stories with people they otherwise would have never spoken to. The fan community is awesome as well. I will miss the people (both streamers and admins) who will not be coming back to the server because of this.

And it really is frustrating, because a lot of this seems so avoidable. Really, seriously, on so many levels, actions could have been taken to fix this situation, even after the situation was initially exposed. I'm disappointed in both Quackity and the higher ups at Quackity studios for not communicating with the admins who have suffered the most from this situation. "Not wanting to raise false hopes" is not, in my opinion, a justifiable reason for complete radio silence for the people working or volunteering at QS. At the very least there need to be updates that inform them that solutions are being worked on, and that the admins are being considered and listened to. Even a general "We cannot give details at the moment, we will update as soon as we are able, your role in the project is being put on hold temporarily" would be better than the absolutely nothing that they received (especially true for Pomme). You can't just do that to people. They are owed the bare minimum of respect.

As for the union, what???? It is their job to advocate for the people they are protecting. That involves contacting and making demands of the companies they are opposing. Posting to twitter/x and waiting for the company in question to reach out is not at all a reasonable or common thing to do. To defend people, you actually need to put some effort in to confront the company you are facing. I think the union also claimed they were investigating and interviewing people, but given their level of professionalism thus far I can't trust how much of that is true.

I really, really hope that the community and server can recover from this. I genuinely really enjoy being here, even through the tough and dramatic times. I hope creators who met on the server continue interacting and being friends. Sorry for the sort-of rant/vent.

Yes. Of course it's a numbers game. If you live in a Democracy, then numbers matter. Whether it's the actual numbers of plurals or just allies, having a majority is going to be important, eventually. I don't expect a majority of people to make tulpas, but it is true that the more people who do, the better it will be for us.

Mostly... People who make tulpas from pressure or without fully thinking things through can actually damage the reputation of tulpamancy if things go poorly, which is one reason I won't go full-out on using the exact tactics as mainstream religions. (The other being the moral issues of leading to more abandoned tulpas in the world, which is the opposite of why I started this blog.)

Either way, making more plurals IS part of "the future is plural." Acceptance requires numbers. And even if it didn't, awareness would inherently introduce the idea of plurality to more people who will try it out.

And I firmly believe that's a good thing.

And regardless of people's feelings on the matter... I think the idea of spreading tulpamancy should at least be a discussion on the table. Using the word proselytize is intentionally provocative. But I think the idea behind it may still have merit.

Issa bop tho even if I have no idea what's being said (a rarity for me, but I actually find it more fun in this case to just mumble random syllables for some reason).

No one keeps track of my hobbies quite like my dad. "Hey when are you going to get back into X?" "Are there clubs on campus for grad students to do Y?" "Have you ever thought about returning to your Z?" "You know, you were so good at W. Do you think you'll give it a go again?" Like JEEZ. I love my father but sometimes I won't even mourn old hobbies until he brings them up. I miss them dearly and feel the emptiness acutely, but what am I to do, lug a tenor saxophone up here? find a community theatre group with reasonable rehearsal hours? go to fiction writing workshops? pay for singing lessons???

Finished The Winter King. The climax was very good, and I can see how some of the scenes could be titillating, but idk I just wasn't all that into it (3.5 rounded down). Started up And Then There Were None and I'm SO here for it. Much more compelling than Murder on the Orient Express imo, though it still has the issue associated with introducing such a large cast so early, especially since I don't have a voice helping me keep the different characters straight. I already have my guess as to who the murderer is, and they've been my guess since the second murder, so we'll see.

First week reflection: pretty good! Genetics looks like it'll be a solid class, I'm excited to learn from the prof! Cohort reading seems like it should be reasonable, actually. Lots to learn there too. Python seems alright, today's homework had me twisted up, down, and all around, but I got through it (with help). Major assignment due next week, will take a look at it tomorrow. It's so so satisfying to figure out these problems though. I have some pretty long, full days, but, I think with practice, I may get to the point where I can get most of my homework done on campus during my downtime.

Speaking of which, today I'm SO thankful for Speechify actually. Yes the service is crazy expensive and I will likely look for cheaper alternatives after my year is up, but even on the first day it is helping me speed through some of these scientific articles with full comprehension. It's really nice for helping me get over that activation energy for reading because the service gives me an estimated time to completion for each article.

i’m rooting for the blue team the hardest. ngl they could all make it to merge and i stand by that. i’m looking forward to seeing their interactions. the other teams contain characters i don’t really care about and some i really love (alec, grett and fiore <333 ...yul, ashley, connor, riya <<<) so i have mixed feelings on them. also yul now also being homophobic beside racist is not the funny haha joke i think they were aiming for, or i guess i’m not the target audience for it

i’m also happy to see the improvement in some of the sound quality and acting. aiden, tom, alec, fiore all still sound great in both of those. james got a new mic but i still feel like he doesn’t express the right emotion in some scenes, i’m hoping that will change. ally got a new actress! i really like her! but i swear to god that as soon as ally and hunter start fighting and not communicating they will be shoved to the very bottom of my list. those two are already annoying me, and more than tomjake, if that was even possible

i like ellie more already this season. her outfit encaptulates her personality better, she is more confident, she’s attending uni woohoo! also she is the nastiest bitch ever and i LOVE HER for it. yeah girl drag alec and ashley through the dirt, how they are so annoying is beyond me too! Mike (JDS) is active on his YouTube channel (community tab) right now and he replies to a lot of questions.

In one of them he confirmed that The Illusion of living written by Kress isn't canon and one that exists in Batim/Batdr has different biography of Joey. Isn't this weird? We got a physical book that explores character in details. And now it's not canon.

We'll never get "canon" biography for him so this erases huge portion of his character, pre-studio Henry and Sammy, Joey's queerness and Abby Lambert's whole existence.

Never apologize for giving me an excuse to complain about Bendy KJHDFGKJDHFGKJHSD I might not be happy with the way the devs are, but it would feel a lot worse to just push down my feelings about em then to at least know others feel the same. And yeah you're absolutely right! It's very weird and confusing.

I honestly am so glad you brought up the particular point of "We'll never get "canon" biography for him" it's honestly one of the most frustrating parts of this whole book retcon. The devs are never going to fill in the blanks this has made so really all this does is take away so much from the world!! Like the devs have never expressed interest in showing us what the studio was like before the cycle and that was the fun of the books! But now we know those aren't canon so that part of history is just left blank with nothing to fill it and likely nothing ever will. The devs seem so disinterested in developing these character's backstories, pasts, etcs, I don't know how they could literally have someone write a great one for their MAIN VILLAIN and then willingly throw it away. So sad.

I loved Abby a lot in that book, her friendship with Joey was both sad and fun. It's upsetting when you see the way Joey is willing to admit behind her back how unsure he is of her talent if I recall correctly. Not to mention how funny it was when she clearly knew how snobbish and mean Joey could be to works of art.

Now she's just gone, along with Joey's entire backstory which I had loved. Reading that book felt like a gateway into his mind, seeing the way he thought, the way he justified his actions. How he lies, everything. It was so compelling, it made me fall in LOVE with Joey's character. He felt sympathetic and beyond redemption at the same time. Not to mention how much I LOVED Sammy's appearance in it. Ugh it was just all so well written, you truly felt like you were seeing the world the way Joey did for a moment. Walking through the mind of a mad man and seeing everything he would allow you to.

I also like the way Nathan was portrayed too, he kinda seemed like he was so defensive of Joey? Which I thought could tie into BATDR and he'd be revealed to be a villain. Like when he says stuff like sometimes he liked to think Joey was being lied to as opposed to lying to others about how the studio was going. How messed up is that? To just casually accuse Grant of withholding that information from his boss just because Nathan doesn't want to think Joey would lie about that? It seemed like a fun place to take his character.

Then that all just gets thrown away? I just don't get it. By far I prefer that version of Joey above the games. His backstory, his mind, the way he sees the world as a big story? It was all so perfect.

Honestly the only thing I can say in comfort is to just love the books for how well written they are. Canon or not, I prefer their writing over the games. So make fanart for them! Tell others why you like them! If the bendy devs won't give them the praise they deserve we will! And if anyone is having trouble getting their hands on the Bendy books, they can always dm me ;]

Trauma is not something where you can just watch paint dry and then you're suddenly healed . There have been so many victims that have tried countless other things besides art and it doesn't work. And you know what antis say? Something along the lines of "Well, I don't know what to tell you. Figure it out and stop being weird." Also, the line of thinking is so absurd to begin with. Because if a groomer uses a sfw image of Gojo from JJK to groom someone, are these antis gonna then blame Gege or the artist that drew the sfw image?? No? Then why blame victims who cope through art? Also, a lot of victims who cope through art are wanting to find a community that supports them (like other proshippers for example!!). They're not posting it online, HOPING an anti or an abuser will see it. If an abuser uses candy to groom someone, should we start taking candy off the shelves? Anything can be a tool to groom someone. It's time antis learn to blame the fucking abuser. Do they not understand they're being abuse apologists? They think victims are worse than abusers. idk dawg, maybe for some people accepting the horrible shit people who made art they like do would make them not be able to interact with it at all thats chill and extremely fair.

for me i dont really see a big issue with still interacting with a fandom when u acknowledge that people involved in the object of fandom has done awful things. mine nor any other shitty fanblog is gonna change that regardless of if they acnowledge it or not. honestly i really dont think aforementioned shitty fanblogs are gonna make anything worse so i dont see the harm in it tbh.

why do i keep posting about fob knowing pete (and the other three as well, but the post wasnt about them) has done awful things? i like to post about fob and look at posts about fob it is fun and i have made friends and a small community through it.

there is a world of a difference between posting about someone who has done extremely unsavory things and defending those unsavory things. i do not defend pete. i just do not see the problem with continuing to post about fob despite knowing he has done awful things considering i am not defending his actions or bothering his victims about him or whateva

most importantly: ur fandom consumption whatever does not indicate ur irl morality generally in my opinion. me liking fob does not mean i like and approve of all the things the members have done in their lives.
