cold open guesses for s2?

minor book spoilers here; nothing past books 2 & 3

Rafe has confirmed that they plan to continue using the cold opens as a way for us to look into other places (and other times). We’re getting another eight episodes for s2, so that’s another 8 cold opens.

S1 had:

Liandrin & the Reds hunting down a male channeler

Valda & the Whitecloaks burning a Yellow Aes Sedai

Nynaeve escaping from the Trollocs (after being captured in ep1)

Logain in Ghealdan, defeating the King and then winning him over

We open with the funeral of Kerene in E5, which is less of a normal cold open and more of a bookend with the ending of the episode

Little!Siuan and her dad, with him sending her off to Tar Valon

The Blood Snows, Shaiel & Tam

Latra and Lews, 3000 years ago.

So, my current votes for S2 cold opens are:

one of the early episodes will show the Seanchan in Falme to establish what the vibe is like with them in charge

one of the early episodes will have the Darkfriend Social

I think we might get younger!Moiraine and Lan in one of them

I think we’ll get at least one more ‘3000 years ago’ one with Lews Therin; maybe one with Lanfear?

we might get slightly younger!Faile in a cold open, maybe taking the oath to be a Hunter of the Horn to set up the ~glory aspect of the Horn of Valere

alternatively, we might get slightly younger!Elayne and her sibs in the episode where she is introduced

they might do Nynaeve or Egwene’s Accepted Tests as a cold open (this could even be done the same way as E5, where we open on Nynaeve’s Tests and then end the episode on Egwene’s)

maybe one for ‘here’s how Thom escaped the Fade’

So apparently some people new to Tumblr think a repost and a reblog are the same thing, so when they see creators asking for people to not repost, they're thinking the creators are saying to not reblog 😭

Y'all, a repost is when you copy/download the work and create a new post using the work making it seem as if it's yours. A reblog is you using a site provided feature to share the creator's post directly from the creator so that it's still credited to them and they still get all of the traction/notes from the work.

Please, reblog fics/art/etc. that you enjoy! Reblogging is not reposting! Creatives need support too, and reblogging is a way to do that!
